I was woken up by a cell phone ringing before 7 a.m. I opened my eyes abruptly and was greeted by my familiar yet always empty room.
I turned over to grab my phone, but the lingering pain in my body made me furrow my brow and whimper. Then I remembered the decadent and dissolute life I'd shared with Duan Yifeng the night before.
I bit my pale lower lip, struggling to overcome the physical discomfort and the dizziness that still lingered in my mind. I reached for my phone, flipped it open without even looking to see who it was, and growled in a harsh tone, "Who is it?"

"No, I'm in the hospital now."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and responded passionately, letting myself melt into his sweet, tingling kisses.
