Qin Ling shook her head helplessly and told the doctor to take the child out. Perhaps when Wang You woke up, they would all remember that there was still a child. As for her, she quietly prepared to leave the Duan family.
"Miss Qin, aren't you going to wait for Madam to wake up?" The butler saw Qin Ling about to leave and immediately stepped forward to ask.
"No, tell her I'll come see her again tomorrow when she wakes up."
She felt that Wang You and Duan Yanqi must have a lot to talk about, especially since their child had just been born. As an outsider, she shouldn't interfere, lest she become a third wheel.
Before Qin Ling could even step out the door, Duan Ruofeng appeared before him. Both were startled upon seeing each other, unsure whether to greet each other for a long moment.

"I just came back to pick up some things; the housekeeper told me."
Immediately, Duan Ruofeng clarified that he had returned for no apparent reason. He then pretended to be looking for something, constantly flipping through the books on the table beside him.
"Then take your time looking. I'm leaving now." Qin Ling frowned, but didn't know what to say.
Something must have happened between him and Wangyou, otherwise how could two people who love each other so much suddenly become like strangers?
Wang You is not the type to be fickle, and Duan Ruofeng couldn't possibly be unaware of this.
But... they were both so stubborn, neither of them willing to reveal the reason. And what could she, an outsider, do?
Hearing Qin Ling's footsteps heading towards the door, Duan Ruofeng, who had her back to her, slowly stopped moving.
"Qin Ling... thank you."
Even he himself didn't know what he was thanking her for. Was he thanking her for visiting You today? Thanking her for being there for You during childbirth?
