The Fairy Path of Beauties (01~06)

Chapter 1 Young Wang Xiao'er

A quiet village.

Birds sang and flowers bloomed in the village. Many children played on the muddy paths after the rain, their joyful laughter echoing.

However, one child watched the children playing indifferently.

That child squatted under a huge tree, gazing intently at the children, a hint of
envy in his eyes.

The boy's name was Wang Xiao'er. He lost his parents at a young age. People around him said he was a jinx because since
his parents' death, he had lived with relatives. Strangely, every time he stayed with a relative, misfortune would inevitably occur within
a month .

For example, the year before, Xiao'er stayed at his aunt's house, and his aunt's son died; two months ago, he stayed at his
cousin's house, and his cousin went bankrupt; however, last month, when he stayed at his grandfather's house, what happened made him convinced that he
was a jinx.

That day, Xiao'er was catching fish by the river, playing enthusiastically, when suddenly a milky-white
bead and hit him on the head. Xiao'er was overjoyed and immediately took the bead home to show off to his grandfather.

But then tragedy struck. That night, a sudden downpour began, and a man in black broke
down the door of Xiao Er's house. Grandpa saw him and frantically told Xiao Er to hide under the bed. Hiding there, Xiao Er heard
his grandfather screams and knew what had happened.

The next morning, he crawled out from under the bed and saw his grandfather lying in a pool of blood. He finally
broke down in tears .

From then on, no one around him wanted to accept him; everyone called him a jinx.

Xiao Er lived like this for several years, and whenever he felt he couldn't go on, he would remember his grandfather's
words: "Xiao Er, you must be strong. Only by being strong can you survive." His grandfather's death became Xiao Er's greatest
pain. He constantly thought about avenging his grandfather, because his grandfather was the person who loved him most since childhood.

But Xiao Er didn't know much about the murderer who killed his grandfather—the man in black that night. He had
only vaguely heard the words "Creation Pearl" that night.

Xiao Er took out the milky-white bead from his sleeve. It was this bead that had killed his beloved
grandfather.

Xiao Er sighed, put the bead back in his sleeve, and headed towards the back mountain. He came to a cave with some simple furniture. He pulled out a dirty steamed bun

from somewhere and wolfed it down. He had gone to great lengths to steal it from Master Li, who sold steamed buns. He had even broken his leg while running away for this bun. After finishing the bun, Xiao Er licked his lips with lingering satisfaction. "If only I could eat my fill," he sighed . Then he covered himself with a tattered quilt and fell into a deep sleep... Chapter Two: Did I Meet an Immortal? Wang Xiao Er was awakened from his sleep by a sudden downpour. Thunderclaps outside startled him. Xiao Er wasn't usually afraid of thunderstorms, but ever since his grandfather passed away, he'd developed an intense . Every time a downpour came, he'd be reminded of the day his grandfather died. Xiao Er trembled under the covers, his fear growing stronger. The image of his grandfather's gruesome death flashed before his eyes, turning his face deathly pale, as if he were gravely ill. Suddenly, Xiao Er heard a strange sound, something like…footsteps? He peeked out from under the covers, wanting to see what it was. He saw a woman slowly walk into the cave. Xiao Er couldn't make out her face, only vaguely seeing her voluptuous figure. *Boom!* Another clap of thunder, and Xiao Er's tension and fear intensified. "Could she be a ghost?" Thinking this, Xiao Er couldn't suppress his grief and burst tears. His cries attracted the attention of the 'female ghost,' and she approached him. Xiao Er closed his eyes, tears still streaming down his face like a broken kite string. The thought of being killed by the "female ghost" and unable to avenge his grandfather made Wang Xiao'er feel that his life had been particularly miserable. "So be it, death is death. It's better to be reunited with Grandpa this way." With this thought, Wang Xiao'er, from who knows where mustered up the courage, threw off the covers, and shouted, "Come on, kill me!" "What are you saying?" A clear, melodious voice, like that of a nightingale, entered Wang Xiao'er's ears. Wang Xiao'er subconsciously raised his head and saw a woman in a Taoist robe. It was just an ordinary Taoist robe, but on her, it was full of allure. Her snow-white long legs, and the exaggerated curves and rounded shape of her waist and hips, were enough to make anyone who saw her take a second look. Her breasts were so full that the robe seemed unable to contain them, as if they could burst out at any moment. And her long red hair made her like a ball of fire. Her pretty face was indescribably beautiful; her oval face seemed naturally alluring, and her eyes, sparkling with a hint of seductive charm, made Wang Xiao'er gasp involuntarily, but he quickly lowered his head, not daring to look a second time. Wang Xiao'er murmured, "Even female ghosts are this beautiful..." Wang Xiao'er hadn't seen many women in his life; the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen was Widow Wang in the village, but this woman was a hundred times more beautiful. "Boy, I'm not some female ghost, I'm an immortal." The 'female ghost' smiled slightly, her smile even more alluring yet carrying a hint of evil. This evil, however, didn't diminish her beauty; instead, it made her even more captivating, like a rose with thorns. "An immortal?" "Yes, I'm an immortal. I was originally going back to my sect today, but I didn't expect to encounter such a heavy rainstorm , so I had to come to this cave to take shelter." The 'female ghost' pouted helplessly. "So you're not a ghost after all. But how can you prove to me you're an immortal?" Wang Xiaoer couldn't help but ask . She didn't answer, but under Wang Xiaoer's gaze, she raised her small hand and waved it towards the stone wall beside her. With a loud boom, a hole was blasted in the stone wall, and fragments of rock fell down with a series of soft thuds. Wang Xiaoer was stunned. He looked at the female immortal, "An immortal…"

However, the next second, Wang Xiaoer pulled his frail body out of the blanket and knelt directly before the female immortal.

"Immortal, please accept me as your disciple!"

"Huh?" Now it was the female immortal's turn to be stunned.

Chapter 3 Am I an Immortal?

Su Mei looked at the silly-looking boy in front of her and felt a little strange. How come someone wanted to
become her disciple as soon as she arrived?

"Raise your head." Hearing this, Wang Xiaoer quickly raised his head. Looking at that beautiful face,
Wang Xiaoer was a little shy and moved his gaze away.

Su Mei looked at the boy in front of her and couldn't help but be stunned.

The boy looked only eleven or twelve years old. His fair and smooth face had a sharp and cold handsomeness; his dark and
deep eyes had a charming color and revealed a trace of sadness and worry, but his gaze was extremely firm.

Su Mei saw Wang Xiaoer's thin body again, and her eyes unconsciously showed a little heartache.

Su Mei extended her right hand and placed it on Wang Xiaoer's head. She closed her eyes, as if trying to sense something.

Wang Xiaoer only felt his head being touched, but dared not move, afraid of disturbing Su Mei.

After a while, Su Mei opened her eyes and removed her hand from Wang Xiaoer's head.

"What a pity, it's a low-grade spiritual root," Su Mei said regretfully.

"Master, even if this disciple has no talent, this disciple will work hard, I will definitely put in a hundred times the effort!"
Upon hearing the immortal's words, Wang Xiaoer sensed something was wrong.

A moment of silence followed.

"Fine, fine, I'll take you in." Su Mei was a little helpless. Such a low-grade spiritual root was only
suitable for , and he might never have the chance to touch the Great Dao in his entire life. But seeing the child's pitiful state, her heart softened and she agreed
.

"Thank you, Master!" Wang Xiaoer jumped up excitedly. He had thought he was going to be rejected.

The rain outside the cave had stopped sometime earlier. Su Mei looked out into the cave with her beautiful eyes. "Since you're my disciple now, let
's go back to the sect."

"Sect? Is it a sect of immortals? Do I have to cultivate immortality there too?" Wang Xiao'er couldn't help but ask.

Su Mei nodded.

"Hold my hand." Su Mei stretched out her slender hand.

"Huh?"

"What 'huh'? Hurry up and hold on, otherwise how will we get back to the sect?"

Wang Xiao'er blushed and took Su Mei's hand, feeling a soft touch.

What happened next was something Wang Xiao'er would never forget.

Su Mei and Wang Xiao'er's bodies slowly floated up and flew out of the cave.

Wang Xiao'er stared blankly as he flew up, unable to help but scream in fear.

"Scared? Why cultivate immortality if you're afraid of heights?" Su Mei rolled her eyes at Wang Xiao'er.

Unfortunately, Wang Xiao'er didn't see Su Mei's eye roll, otherwise he would have blushed again.

Wang Xiao'er suppressed his fear and looked curiously at the ground.

His village flashed past Wang Xiao'er's eyes, leaving him feeling bewildered. A new
life was about to begin. At this moment, Wang Xiao'er felt a longing for cultivation, but also a strange fear. He'd heard from the villagers that
immortals were ruthless and heartless; would he die?

His grandfather's kind face suddenly flashed into his mind. Wang Xiao'er gasped. He cultivated
to find his grandfather's killer and to gain the power to protect himself. His grandfather had died because
Wang Xiao'er lacked the power to protect him. "

I will cultivate!"

Wang Xiao'er made up his mind, casting aside his fear.

But a moment later, Su Mei heard Wang Xiao'er shout again.

The Yin Sect, located at the southernmost tip of the cultivation continent, was one of the most powerful sects in the southern border region, with
a history of over a thousand years, its prestige resounding far and wide.

A massive mountain shrouded in mist stood on the desolate land.

Wang Xiaoer felt terrified. Flying along, he saw countless mountains, and several times he felt
he would lose his grip on the other person's small hand.

Suddenly, everything blurred before his eyes, and when things cleared, he was outside a pavilion. After landing, his legs trembled
as he looked around at the world, completely different from the village.

In front of the pavilion was a plaque with three large, elegantly written characters: "

Servants' Office. "
