A Dreamlike Journey Through the Ancient Imperial Harem (Complete)

Text [001] Young Tiger (Part 1)

My name is Wang Xiaohu, courtesy name Youqian, and I live in Dawang Village, Heping County.
My father was a small landlord named Wang Sanwan, who owned a hundred acres of fertile land, a nine-room house, and three wives. He died half a year ago, leaving behind four orphans and a widow.
That is, "me" and his three wives.
My name is Wang Xiaohu, I don't have a courtesy name, I graduated from high school, and I live in the ancient town. I am the secretary of the female mayor Zhang Meili.
Although others always think that I am being kept by the female mayor, I absolutely disagree. I, Wang Xiaohu, earn my living through physical labor! I don't steal, rob, cheat, or kidnap. I am an upright and modern 21st-century model youth, who loves wine, women, and power.
Just yesterday, no, no, no!
Yesterday, the female mayor Zhang Meili didn't go home. Where did she go? Of course, she went to curry favor with the leader.
I was bored at the female mayor's house when suddenly a thunderclap sounded, and I met Wang Xiaohu from the Song Dynasty. When a person is shameless, they are invincible!
I never imagined that in that instant, he would betray me and kick me all the way to the Song Dynasty.
Alas, the past is too painful to recall. In the bright moonlight, my Wu Tenglan, my little Senmei Wang, my female mayor, my brothel madam Sister Liu in the west of town, my bank card, my relationships, all of my—I have lost everything.
According to the careful account of my lackey Wangcai, it turns out that Wang Xiaohu is a complete scoundrel who has done all sorts of evil deeds, never done anything good, and is as lecherous as I am!
"Wangcai, go and call the old steward."
Wang Xiaohu said to Wangcai, who was kneeling on the ground, almost completely exhausted.
"Yes, young master."
Upon hearing this, Wangcai quickly crawled out, letting out a heavy sigh of relief. He knew that Wang Xiaohu was not an easy person to serve.
"Young master, what do you need this old servant for?"
Wang Dafu is a third-generation elder of the Wang family in Dawang Village. It is said that he has been the steward since Wang Xiaohu's grandfather's generation and has been extremely loyal to the Wang family for decades. "Old Steward ,
please rise quickly."
Wang Xiaohu hurriedly stood up and helped Wang Dafu to his feet, saying with a smile, "I didn't call you here for anything else today, I just wanted to ask how much money we have left in the accounts." "Young Master, what do you want to do?" Wang Dafu's expression tightened upon hearing this. "Old Steward, don't be nervous, I'm not a child, I just want to know how much money we have left." Wang Xiaohu gave a helpless bitter smile and said. But in the eyes of the old steward Wang Dafu, Wang Xiaohu's bitter smile was a sinister smile, very eerie! "There are thirteen taels of silver and four hundred and thirty-seven copper coins in the accounts." The old steward said cautiously, cold sweat dripping from his forehead. "What?" Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu slammed his hand on the table and shouted angrily, "How can there be so little? Don't we have eight hundred and fifty acres of fertile land? How come there are only twenty-something taels?" " Young Master, that's all we have in the accounts." The old steward said with a bitter smile. "You mean there's money elsewhere?" Wang Xiaohu perked up immediately upon hearing this. "Young Master, isn't there plenty of silver in your inner treasury?" The old butler and Wangcai looked at Wang Xiaohu with strange expressions. The old butler gave him a wink, and Wangcai cautiously reminded him. "?" Wang Xiaohu was taken aback. "Yes, it's the inner treasury." The old butler nodded in agreement. "Since the master passed away half a year ago, he entrusted the inner treasury to you, Young Master." "Where is the inner treasury?" Wang Xiaohu asked, his eyes shining. The old butler and Wangcai almost fainted upon hearing this. "Only you, Young Master, know where the inner treasury is. Isn't the golden key to the inner treasury hanging around your neck?" The old butler looked at Wang Xiaohu with a puzzled expression and said. Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu swayed and almost fell to the ground. "Oh." Wang Xiaohu nodded and said, "You all go out first. No one is allowed to come in without my permission. I have some things to think about." [002] Young Xiaohu (Part Two) Although Wang Xiaohu lived in Dawang Village, the Wang Mansion was quite a distance away. The front and back courtyards of the mansion were clean and elegant. The front courtyard was a large open space with flowers, trees, and shrubs planted on both sides; in the center was the main hall, with seven or eight rooms on either side; the back courtyard was a five-zhang square training ground. In the training ground, a very handsome young man was practicing martial arts. His moves were chaotic and his movements clumsy. Three women were watching nearby. The one in the middle, about twenty years old, wore a white dress that fluttered slightly in the wind. Her face was exquisitely beautiful. She was Wang Xiaohu's second mother, Chen Yingying, whose martial arts skills had reached a high level. The young man practicing was, of course, Wang Xiaohu, who had transmigrated from another world. The two young girls were maids, one named Chen Ling'er and the other Chen Qiao'er, both exceptionally beautiful. After the old steward and Wangcai left, Wang Xiaohu was pondering where the Wang family's treasury was hidden when he was suddenly dragged out by a stunningly beautiful woman. That stunningly beautiful woman was none other than Wang Xiaohu's stepmother, Chen Yingying. It was said that Chen Yingying was once a famous heroine in the martial arts world! Cold sweat poured down Wang Xiaohu's forehead, his movements became increasingly erratic, and suddenly he stumbled, cried out "Ouch!" and fell to the ground, seemingly twisting his ankle. Chen Yingying hurriedly rushed over, helped Wang Xiaohu up, and asked with concern, "What's wrong? Where did you twist it?" "It hurts here." Wang Xiaohu lowered his head, holding his calf with both hands, his face showing pain. Chen Yingying bent down to examine him, her jade-like hands caressing his calf. A delicate fragrance wafted over, and Wang Xiaohu couldn't resist leaning forward, burying his head in his second wife's ample bosom—Chen Yingying had always treated him like a child, and knowing his mischievous nature, she didn't mind at all—the faint scent of virginity seeped into his nostrils, his cheeks felt as if they were pressed against a soft, elastic pile of cotton, and Wang Xiaohu felt indescribably comfortable, his mind drifting as if in a dream. Chen Yingying carefully examined him and, seeing that Wang Xiaohu's calf was unharmed, she finally felt relieved. Then she saw him wrapping his arms around her slender waist, his cheek pressed tightly against her ample bosom, rubbing against her repeatedly. A strange, tingling sensation quickly spread from her breasts throughout her body, and Chen Yingying's face flushed red. She thought to herself, "So Xiaohu is taking advantage of me again, trying to grope me..." Glancing at Chen Ling'er and Chen Qiao'er beside her, she saw them secretly smiling, and her shame intensified. She quickly brushed them aside. Wang Xiaohu's body drew an arc in mid-air and landed with a "thud" more than three zhang away, falling flat on his back. As soon as Wang Xiaohu's body hit the ground, his soul also woke up. He felt no pain at all, thinking that his second aunt had used a clever trick when she hit "him" out of pity, making the fall seem heavy but actually light.

Wang Xiaohu, not being the real person, fearing he might inadvertently give himself away, simply lay on the ground, feigning grievance and wailing, "Ouch...ouch...it hurts so much! Why did you hit me, Second Mother?"
Chen Yingying reached up to smooth her hair, saying with a mixture of shyness and reproach, "Who told you to lay a hand on Second Mother?"
Then her expression hardened, "Next time you dare to be rude, I'll hit you harder."
"Even if Second Mother hits me hard, I'll still like it,"
Wang Xiaohu said, momentarily stunned by her appearance, then his lecherous nature kicked in with a grin.
Chen Yingying was helpless against him, giving him a glare before instructing, "Ling'er, Qiao'er, make sure Xiaohu practices his skills properly, don't let him slack off."
With that, she turned and left.
Chen Yingying then unleashed her light-footed skill, her figure as graceful and ethereal as a gentle breeze as she swept across the trees on either side, the breeze brushing against her face, making her cheeks feel slightly flushed. Ling'er's voice drifted faintly on the wind: "Alright, alright, young master, stop thinking nonsense. Miss is not like us maids. Don't try anything with her. Be careful not to anger her and she'll beat you up. You'll be in big trouble then."
Chen Yingying was even more agitated by these words, but her movements became even faster, and she unknowingly ran to a mountain stream.
She squatted down to wash her face, the clear stream water reflecting her peerless face. The cool water splashed on her face, and her mind slowly calmed down.
"Xiao Hu has grown up. I can't treat him like a child anymore."
Chen Yingying strolled along the stream, thinking, "The little devil is getting more and more audacious, always touching me without any manners, even daring to flirt with the second mistress... Sigh! Xiao Hu has always been so well-behaved and innocent, how could he..."
She was full of doubts and decided to ask Chen Ling'er and Chen Qiao'er tonight.
She walked towards the top of the mountain, heading towards the Jade Maiden Temple as if flying. After climbing several dozen steps, the flat ground in front of the Jade Maiden Temple was covered with wildflowers, their fragrance filling the air.
Inside the temple, a dozen or so female disciples were practicing swordsmanship or sweeping the courtyard. Upon seeing Chen Yingying, the disciples bowed respectfully. These disciples were all apprentices of her elder sister, Chen Rongrong. Chen Yingying was still young and therefore did not publicly teach.
Chen Yingying nodded, instructed the disciples on a few sword techniques, and then entered the meditation room, sitting cross-legged. She practiced the orthodox internal energy cultivation of the Xuanmen sect, which required the elimination of distracting thoughts and a state of perfect tranquility during meditation. However, at this moment, her mind was turbulent, with various thoughts flashing through her mind like scenes from a dream. She sighed, rose, and walked towards the back of the temple. Wang Xiaohu was a great worry for her; until this matter was resolved, she would find it difficult to calm her mind and practice.
Looking back into the courtyard, the mountain wind whipped through the dense bamboo forest, making a rustling sound. The air was filled with the fragrance of flowers and the fresh scent of grass and trees. Chen Yingying took a deep breath, her chest filled with turbid air, and she felt refreshed and relaxed.

[003] The Young Tiger (Part 3)
That night, seeing the bright moon and countless stars in the sky, Chen Yingying went to a small pavilion halfway up the mountain for tourists to rest. A cool breeze swept through the night, and there was no one around.
Chen Yingying used her inner strength, slightly parted her lips, and spun her voice into a single line, sending it towards the small manor five miles away. She used the superior internal skill of "Secret Sound Transmission," which, when mastered, could transmit a sound for about a mile. She could transmit it five miles away, her skill reaching an astonishing level.
A petite figure drifted in on the night wind, arriving at the pavilion in a moment. Dressed in emerald green, it was Chen Ling'er.
"What are your orders, Miss?"
Chen Ling'er asked respectfully, noticing her mistress's slightly furrowed brows and troubled expression.
"Ling'er, I have something important to ask you. You must answer honestly and without any concealment."
Chen Yingying sat down on the long, smooth stone bench, gently patting the seat beside her. "You may sit as well."
"Yes, Miss."
Chen Ling'er sat down somewhat hesitantly. Tonight, her mistress's expression was grave, quite different from usual.
Chen Yingying remained silent for a moment, then softly asked, "Where's Xiao Hu? Did he notice you're here?"
"Qiao'er is helping him with his calligraphy; he doesn't know anything."
Chen Yingying nodded, gazing at the starry sky, and murmured, "Ten years have passed. Time flies so fast. In the blink of an eye, Xiao Hu has grown up."
The sky was filled with twinkling stars like glittering jewels. Suddenly, a shooting star streaked across the sky, brilliant yet fleeting.
Chen Ling'er hummed in response, pondering her mistress's words, and dared not reply.
Chen Yingying seemed to sense something, her gaze softening as she looked at Chen Ling'er. She gently took her hand and said softly, "Ling'er, though we are mistress and servant in name, we are like sisters. Don't be reserved in front of me, speak freely!"
Like a warm spring breeze, her heart warmed, her eyes welled up, and she choked back tears, saying, "Miss...Miss's kindness to me is as heavy as a mountain, and she even taught me martial arts. Even if Ling'er is ignorant, she wouldn't dare deceive Miss."
Chen Yingying looked pleased. "Actually, I should be thanking you. For the past ten years, Xiao Hu has been carefully cared for by you and Qiao'er. As his stepmother, I haven't had to worry about much." Chen Ling'er
quickly replied, "Miss, as the head of the Jade Maiden Sect, how can you be preoccupied with the young master all day? It's Ling'er's duty to take care of the young master, and besides, he's clever and witty, and Ling'er likes him very much."
Speaking of Wang Xiao Hu, Chen Yingying felt a surge of warmth in her heart.
"Has Xiao Hu been behaving strangely these past few years?"
Chen Yingying asked with a questioning gaze.
"Something's wrong..."
Chen Ling'er pondered for a moment, then suddenly blushed and stammered, "Miss, there's something... I should tell you, but... it's just very... very hard to say."
"You might as well just say it."
Chen Yingying had a vague idea of what was going on, and her heart skipped a beat.
Chen Ling'er composed herself and said, "Half a year ago, I accompanied the young master to Heping County. He bought several erotic... erotic books at a bookstall, and after bringing them home, he couldn't put them down, pestering me and Qiao'er to read them with him."
As she said this, she lowered her head, her pink face as red as a tomato, and whispered, "Although I felt it was inappropriate, I thought the young master was just a child, and it was just curiosity, so I didn't tell you, Miss. Later... later..."
"What happened later?"
Chen Yingying asked calmly.
Chen Ling'er glanced at her, relieved to see her expression was normal, and said, "About a month later, that day, Miss wasn't home, and Young Master called me and Qiao'er to play a game with us. He said the loser had to grant the other's any request..." She
paused, then continued, "In the end, Qiao'er and I both lost, and Young Master... Young Master took out a pornographic book and said he wanted to practice it with us..."
Her voice trailed off, almost inaudible.
Chen Yingying blushed and couldn't help but say, "So, you and Qiao'er have already been... by Xiao Hu..."
Ling'er nodded, not daring to look up.
Chen Yingying took Chen Ling'er's hand, rolled up her sleeve, and saw that the mark of virginity on her fair, jade-like arm had disappeared. She sighed involuntarily, lost in thought, never imagining things were more serious than she had imagined.
Coming to her senses, Chen Yingying said in a slightly reproachful tone, "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"Ling'er thought this matter was too sordid and dared not inform Miss."
She knelt down, bowed her head and said, "Ling'er has failed Miss's trust and is ashamed of Miss. Please punish me severely."
Her eyes were full of crystal tears.
Chen Yingying helped her up, "Silly girl, how could I blame you? You didn't do anything wrong. It's all my fault for hurting you and Qiao'er..."
She took out a handkerchief and wiped Chen Ling'er's eyes. A surge of pity, guilt, and resentment welled up within her. She said bitterly, "This little rascal has acted so recklessly, doing such a thing. I must punish him severely."
Chen Ling'er was startled and whispered, "How does Miss intend to punish him?"
Chen Yingying said in a deep voice, "Women, according to the rules of our sect, the most serious offense is death, the least serious is the loss of their martial arts and expulsion from the sect."
Her words were stern, but her heart trembled. She thought to herself, "Does this really mean Xiao Hu will be crippled?... And... what will happen to Ling'er and Qiao'er in the future?" Chen
Ling'er was horrified and hurriedly pleaded, "Young Master is still a child. He was just curious for a moment and shouldn't have made a decision. Besides... besides, Ling'er is willing. Please spare Young Master, Miss..."
Chen Yingying was greatly surprised, "So, Xiao Hu didn't force... you, you were willing?"
Chen Ling'er nodded desperately with tears in her eyes, her face filled with shame and anxiety.
Chen Yingying breathed a sigh of relief, her worries dissipating . After thinking for a moment, she smiled and said, "Ling'er, I've thought of a way to save Xiaohu, but it will be hard on you."
"I'm willing to do anything to save the young master," Chen Ling'er replied, her worries turning to joy. Chen Yingying smiled sweetly and said, "I'm thinking of betrothing you and Qiao'er to Xiaohu. That way, Xiaohu won't have broken the rules. Are you willing?" "I'll leave it to you, Miss," Chen Ling'er said, blushing with delight. Chen Yingying saw this and chuckled inwardly. She pinched Chen Ling'er's cheek and laughed, "You silly girl, tell me honestly, do you really like Xiaohu?" Chen Ling'er smiled shyly, "So Miss knows everything!" "Miss, I'm afraid Madam won't agree to this," Chen Ling'er said, her face pale, as if she had remembered something. "Eldest sister," Chen Yingying frowned upon hearing this. Text [004] Young Tiger (Part 4) Chen Yingying smiled slightly, then suddenly let out a soft shout. Her slender hand reached out and grabbed at the empty space outside the pavilion, generating a gentle force that pulled a person in as if retrieving something from afar. Her internal energy had reached a superb level, allowing her to change the direction of the force at will. Chen Ling'er exclaimed, "Young Master..." Wang Xiaohu groaned as he got up, rubbing his bottom and muttering, "Ouch... Second Madam, really, she didn't even see who it was..." Chen Yingying snorted, "If I hadn't known it was you, you wouldn't have been able to stand up and speak." Her tone softened, "You heard what we just said, do you have any objections?" "No objections... yeah right." Wang Xiaohu pouted, "That's my business! You just made a decision on your own without even asking my opinion!" Chen Yingying couldn't help but smile, "That's exactly what I wanted to ask! Xiaohu, have you agreed?" Wang Xiaohu smiled slyly, "Agreeing is fine, but you have to agree to one thing first." Chen Yingying was both amused and annoyed, thinking, "You've really gotten a huge advantage, and you think I'm begging you!" But she said, "Alright, tell me." "Second Aunt, would you like to sleep at home tonight?" Wang Xiaohu asked expectantly. Chen Yingying chuckled, surprised by such a simple request. Seeing his pleading expression, her heart softened, and she nodded, "Alright, Second Aunt hasn't slept at home for many days. I'll grant your request this time." Wang Xiaohu was overjoyed that Chen Yingying had agreed. He glanced at Chen Ling'er and noticed that although her face showed joy, there seemed to be a hint of unease in her eyes. Back at the Prince's residence, Qiao'er was waiting anxiously. Upon seeing them, she greeted them with great joy. When Chen Yingying saw her, she smiled mysteriously and said, "Come to the hall, I have something to tell you." After sitting down in the hall, and with Qiao'er serving fragrant tea, Chen Yingying smiled and told her about their marriage to Wang Xiaohu. Seeing that Chen Qiao'er had shyly agreed, she was very happy and said, "But you are still young, let's talk about marriage in a few years!" She glared at Wang Xiaohu and said, "Xiaohu, you have made such a big mistake this time. If it weren't for Ling'er pleading for you, you would definitely be punished severely. You must treat Ling'er and Qiao'er well in the future, or your second mother will not forgive you!" Wang Xiaohu hurriedly agreed, turned to look at Ling'er, and stuck out his tongue. Chen Yingying beckoned Ling'er and Qiao'er closer, took their hands, and said gently, "Ling'er and Qiao'er, I'm now accepting you two as my disciples. You don't need to call me 'Miss' anymore, just call me 'Master'! From now on, you'll be senior and junior brothers. Ling'er is the eldest senior sister, Qiao'er is the second senior sister, and Xiaohu is the youngest junior brother. Xiaohu, you must listen to your senior sister from now on, understand?" The last sentence was quite stern. Ling'er and Qiao'er were overjoyed upon hearing this and quickly knelt down to perform the disciple-acceptance ceremony. Wang Xiaohu frowned deeply, thinking that this was a good thing; he suddenly had two more senior sisters, and the roles of host and guest had been reversed. It seemed he needed to come up with a solution as soon as possible. "Sister Qiao'er, I've missed you so much!" As soon as Wang Xiaohu saw Qiao'er enter the bedroom, he rushed over, his right hand around Qiao'er's slender waist, and his left hand crawling towards her soft flesh, kneading it through her clothes. The soft, smooth feeling stimulated his crotch, causing it to stand erect. Qiao'er noticed the change in Wang Xiaohu's body, her face flushed with embarrassment, and she quickly reached out to resist his advances, whispering, "Junior brother, don't do anything rash, it won't be good if Master sees us." Wang Xiaohu reluctantly let go and asked, "Where's Sister Ling'er? Why isn't she here?" "You should call her Senior Sister and Second Senior Sister. Master told you to, and you've already forgotten?" Qiao'er giggled. "Alright, alright, I know. Second Senior Sister, where did Senior Sister go?" Helpless, Wang Xiaohu had to change his address, thinking he would find an opportunity to teach Second Senior Sister a lesson. "Senior Sister? She's in Master's room," Qiao'er said with a smile, her expression mysterious. "So late, what's Senior Sister doing in Second Sister's room?" Wang Xiaohu was a little puzzled, looking at Qiao'er's face, when suddenly his heart skipped a beat. Meanwhile, in Chen Yingying's room, spring was in full bloom. Inside the room stood a large wooden vat, about half a person's height. Ling'er was pouring water into it, the steaming vapor filling the entire room. Chen Yingying removed her last garment, revealing her flawless beauty—snow-white and smooth skin, a graceful and curvaceous figure, high and firm breasts, a slender and supple waist, round and pert buttocks, and a patch of pubic hair extending to her mysterious triangle… Chen Ling'er stared in disbelief, letting out a long sigh, and exclaimed, "Master, you're so beautiful…" Chen Yingying blushed, scoffing, "You little devil, so glib…" She smiled and said, "You can leave now, I'm going to take a bath." Chen Ling'er smiled, closed the door, and left. Chen Yingying stepped into the vat, soaking in the warm, comforting water, feeling completely relaxed. She unconsciously closed her eyes, savoring the comfortable sensation, like soaking in a hot spring.

After Qiao'er left, Wang Xiaohu, under the cover of night, crept to the back of Chen Yingying's room. Peeking through the crack in the window, he saw his second aunt sitting in a wooden tub, bathing.
The first thing that caught his eye was Chen Yingying's jade-like body. Wang Xiaohu's blood surged, his heart pounded, and he stared intently. Unfortunately, he could only see the upper half of her body; the wretched bathtub blocked his view of her lower body, and the room was filled with steam, making it difficult to see clearly.
He wished the bathtub would explode, releasing the steam and revealing his second aunt in its entirety, but he knew this was absolutely impossible.
Another thought crossed his mind: to rush in and tightly embrace his second aunt's exquisite body. But then he reconsidered: his second aunt wasn't like those two maids; she couldn't be won over by force. If things went wrong, he'd be the one who suffered a beating, and it would be incredibly difficult to get his hands on her again.
His mind raced, but he couldn't come up with a suitable solution. He was frantic, pacing back and forth. He had finally seized such a good opportunity; was he really going to give up now?

[005] Young Tiger (Part 5)
Just then, a crisp "snap" interrupted the hesitant Wang Xiaohu.
"Who?"
Wang Xiaohu snapped out of his daze at the sound, shouting sharply as he looked up. He saw a woman in palace attire, with a full bust and curvaceous hips, standing before him.
The woman had a pair of alluring eyes, watery and seemingly constantly casting seductive glances, as if pleading and weeping, incredibly captivating.
"Little Tiger, what are you doing standing in front of Second Sister's window?"
The newcomer smiled charmingly, her words striking first, leaving Wang Xiaohu momentarily stunned.
"Third Sister, you've arrived."
Upon hearing this, Chen Yingying, already dressed, came out. Fresh from her bath, Chen Yingying exuded a delicate fragrance. Her thin nightgown accentuated her shapely figure, her proud breasts seemingly about to burst forth, revealing a deep cleavage that made Wang Xiaohu blush instantly.
"Roumei greets Second Sister."
Upon hearing the voice and seeing her, Su Roumei dared not be negligent and quickly bowed to Chen Yingying.
"Xiaohu greets Third Sister."
Judging from the tone, the visitor must be his adopted third sister, Su Roumei. He took a deep breath and bowed to Su Roumei.
"Hmph."
Chen Yingying seemed to know that Wang Xiaohu had been spying on her. She glared at him fiercely, stepped forward, took Su Roumei's hand, and said in a sweet voice, "I wonder what brings Third Sister here today?" With
that, she pulled Su Roumei into her boudoir.
"Second sister, eldest sister is coming back from visiting relatives tomorrow."
Su Roumei said sourly, "Roumei doesn't know what to do."
"Third sister, don't worry, with me here, eldest sister won't dare to bully you."
Chen Yingying's voice lacked confidence.
The depressed Wang Xiaohu had already run back to his room to tinker with the inner treasury.
He hadn't slept all night, and in the morning, with dark circles under his eyes, he hastily ate something and secretly ran out.
"Young master, madam is coming back today, let's go back early."
The observant Wangcai reminded Wang Xiaohu, who was sitting on a bamboo chair.
"Hmm."
Wang Xiaohu nodded. "Wangcai, recently in our Dawang Village, which family has produced another beauty and a pretty widow?"
"Reporting to young master, I heard that Wang the Cripple had a daughter who is as beautiful as a flower, incredibly charming and lovely. Why don't we go to Wang the Cripple's house to see her?"
Wangcai said, his spittle flying and his spirits high.
"Okay, let's go to Wang the Cripple's house."
Wang Xiaohu clapped his hands in approval.
"The tiger's coming! Sisters, run!"
"Ah, the tiger's entered the village!"
Along the way, chaos erupted in Dawang Village, with chickens and dogs scattering and screams echoing everywhere.
Wang Xiaohu frowned slightly. Was the previous Wang Xiaohu really this wicked? He'd made the villagers avoid him like the plague.
"Young Master, we've arrived."
Just as Wang Xiaohu was thinking this, Wangcai's lewd voice rang out: "Should we break down the door first, as usual?"
"Damn, isn't this like abducting a woman?"
Wang Xiaohu nearly fainted upon hearing this.
"Young Master, what's there to be afraid of abducting a woman? The entire Heping County belongs to your second uncle!"
Wangcai puffed out his chest, his face beaming, as if he were the one abducting the woman.
"Something's not right."
Wang Xiaohu slapped Wangcai away, his brows furrowed. "Why haven't we seen a single man along the way?"
"Young Master, the village is suffering from a severe drought this year. Our Dawang Village is competing with Xiaowang Village for water to irrigate the fields. Xiaowang Village has blocked the upstream ditch. I heard that Dawang Village and Xiaowang Village have been fighting several times in the past few days,"
Wangcai quickly explained.
"Let's go take a look,"
Wang Xiaohu said, his spirits immediately lifting.
"Young Master, please spare me!"
Upon hearing this, Wangcai knelt down at Wang Xiaohu's feet with a thud, sobbing and snot streaming down his face. "It's too dangerous there! If you get hurt, Madam will skin me alive! Young Master, please spare me this time, for the sake of my loyalty as your hundredth personal servant. Anyway, Xiaowang Village needs our water. Young Master, you should go home first. Madam should be back soon."
Wang Xiaohu frowned upon hearing this. Although Wang Xiaohu had dreamed of becoming the son of a wealthy landlord, spending his days with two lackeys, bullying women, and harassing widows,
he felt a sense of unease after this dream actually came true.

Text [006] Young Tiger (Part Six)
Just then, a large group of shirtless rural men, wielding hoes, hooks, and shovels, their faces flushed and filled with righteous indignation, roared towards Wang Xiaohu.
"My God!"
Upon seeing this, Wang Xiaohu felt a chill in his heart and cried out, "Wangcai, let's go!"
"What are you all standing there for? Protect the young master, hurry up and carry the sedan chair!"
Wangcai was stunned when he heard this. He turned around and his face turned pale. He sprang up from the ground and shouted sharply, urging the stunned servants to carry the sedan chair and run.
"Isn't that Wang the Evil Tiger?"
"That's him! Hurry, don't let him get away!"
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu was almost scared out of his wits. He jumped off the bamboo chair and ran home for his life.
His speed was as fast as lightning and as swift as a whirlwind, making Wangcai and the other servants feel ashamed.
"Young Master, wait for me! Help!"
Regaining his senses, Wangcai let out a piercing scream and scrambled after Wang Xiaohu.
"Huff, huff!"
Wang Xiaohu, who had run into the Wangfu manor in one breath, was flushed red like a crab, tears and sweat streaming down his face. He was panting heavily, feeling a sense of exhilaration, as if he had narrowly escaped death.
"Young Master, what's wrong? Did you get into trouble again? Are you hurt anywhere? Where's Wangcai? How did he protect you?"
Chen Ling'er, who happened to arrive, saw Wang Xiaohu lying on the ground with a terrified expression. Her heart tightened, and she rushed to Wang Xiaohu with concern, asking anxiously.
"Quick, close the gate!"
Wang Xiaohu, who had finally caught his breath, hurriedly called out to Huang Qing'er.
"Young Master, what happened?"
Chen Ling'er asked anxiously upon hearing this.
"Cough cough, close the gate, quick, I'll explain later."
Wang Xiaohu waved his hand and urged Huang Qing'er.
"Young Master, help!"
Just then, Wangcai flew in like a dead dog, collapsed to the ground, foaming at the mouth, his body convulsing violently.
"Wangcai, what's the rush? What's going on outside? Why is it so chaotic?"
Chen Yingying, her face as cold as ice, walked into the outer courtyard and coldly shouted.
"Second, Second Madam, there are so many people outside trying to kill Young Master."
After saying this, Wangcai's eyes rolled back, and he fainted.
"What?"
Upon hearing this, Chen Yingying shouted angrily and flew out of the mansion, then screamed and turned back, her face flushed.
"You all wait here. I'll go in and see what's going on."
An elderly man in a long robe with a white beard arrived at the gate of the Prince's mansion and addressed the pale-faced gatekeeper, "A-Si, is Madam home?"
"Lord Muramasa, Madam went to the city and hasn't returned yet. Second Madam and Third Madam are both in the mansion. What brings you here with so many people?"
A-Si was clearly afraid of the old man and quickly replied.
"I see."
The old man frowned, stroked his beard with his right hand, and asked solemnly, "When will Madam return home?"
"She should be back this afternoon,"
A-Si quickly replied.
"I see."
Upon hearing this, the old man paced back and forth at the door several times, then came to the hundreds of villagers and said loudly, "Folks, the lady hasn't returned yet. Those who have things to do at home, please go back and attend to them."
"Village head, since the lady hasn't returned, we'll wait here with you."
"Village head, why don't you go and discuss it with Wang E—Young Master Wang?"
Upon hearing this, the villagers immediately started talking all at once, and no one left, no matter what they said.
"Make way, make way, are you looking for death? Didn't you see that the county magistrate's sister, Madam Wang's sedan chair has returned?"
Upon hearing this, the crowd quickly made way, turning their gazes to the village head.
"Wang Dazhi, what are you trying to do? Are you planning a rebellion? Believe me, my second brother will arrest you all! Now get out of here!"
A flamboyantly dressed, wealthy-looking, alluring woman, about twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old, pointed her jade-like hand directly at the village head's nose and threatened him coldly.
"Madam, please, for the sake of being from the same village and clan, save our fellow villagers!"
An old man, his face alternating between red and white, knelt down at Madam Wang's feet with a thud, pleading.
"Madam, have great mercy and save us!"
Seeing the village head kneel, the villagers quickly knelt down before Madam Wang as well.
"Oh dear!"
Madam Wang was startled at the sight and jumped back, shrieking, "What do you want? Are you trying to coerce me, Madam Wang?"
"That's right, that's right."
Wang Xiaohu also came out, acting all high and mighty, and then ran to Madam Wang with a fawning expression, sweetly calling out, "Mother, you're back! Let me massage your back and waist."
A crisp "slap" rang out.
"You troublemaker!"
Madam Wang slapped Wang Xiaohu hard across the face, angrily shouting, "What trouble have you caused outside this time? Guards, take Wangcai and beat him to death!"
"Yes, Madam."
Upon hearing this, two burly men strode quickly into the mansion.
"Young master, young master, help! Madam, I won't do it again, I won't do it again! Ah, young master, young master—"
Before long, Wangcai's pitiful cries rang out. Wang Xiaohu turned around at the sound and his heart skipped a beat. He saw Wangcai with blood streaming from his mouth, his eyes swollen, and his hands flailing wildly at the air. He was kicked to the ground by a burly man, who then raised a black lacquered wooden stick and began to smash it down. Such blatant disregard for
human life!
Such blatant disregard for human life! In broad daylight, under the clear sky, is there no law left?!
"Stop!"
Seeing that Wangcai was about to be beaten to death, Wang Xiaohu roared, leaping up from the ground. His eyes widened, his face contorted with rage, and he roared furiously, "You two dogs, try hitting me! Believe me, I'll take your lives!"
Faced with the enraged Wang Xiaohu, Madam Wang was terrified.
Faced with the enraged Wang Xiaohu, the two burly men wielding sticks turned pale and looked at Madam Wang.
"Hmph."
Wang Xiaohu roared furiously, "I'm telling you, once you enter the Wang Mansion, I am the master! Anyone who dares to touch my people, I will take their life! Men, help Wangcai into my room." The servants were pale, their eyes filled with fear, and they were uneasy, not knowing what to do. "Fine." Wang

Xiaohu laughed in anger, pointed at more than ten servants, and shouted, "You, you, you, and you, you are all fired! From this moment on, if you dare to step into the Wang Mansion again, I will break your legs!" After Wang Xiaohu finished speaking, he helped the tearful Wangcai into the gate of the Wang Mansion, leaving the crowd dumbfounded and looking at each other. "You bunch of lackeys, what are you looking at? Go and help Wangcai!" Madam Wang's face turned pale and then red. After a while, she yelled and chased after Wang Xiaohu. She glared at Chen Yingying as she passed by. "Young Master, please rest a bit, let us do it." Chen Ling'er and Chen Qiao'er quickly followed, saying with concern. "It's alright, I can do it myself. You go and prepare some hot water and wound medicine." Wang Xiaohu said firmly, his neck stiff. "Yes, Young Master."

Chen Ling'er and Chen Qiao'er knew Wang Xiaohu was in a bad mood, and upon hearing this, they quickly and obediently went to prepare things.
"Young Master—"
Wangcai lay on Wang Xiaohu's large bed, his eyes blurred with tears, and called out in a choked voice.
"Don't speak yet, wait until you've recovered from your injuries."
Wang Xiaohu said nonchalantly.
"Yes, Young Master."
Wangcai was so moved that he could hardly speak.
"Young Master, Madam wants you to go to her room."
A beautifully dressed woman quietly entered Wang Xiaohu's room and said respectfully.
"I—I know."
Wang Xiaohu was about to refuse, but the calculating Wang Xiaohu agreed anyway.
After all, a sudden change in a person's demeanor would arouse suspicion.
"Ling'er, come with me to Madam's."
Wang Xiaohu gave Chen Ling'er a look and said.
"Yes, Young Master."
Chen Ling'er's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this, and she quickly responded.
"Let's go."
Wang Xiaohu reached the door and noticed the beautiful woman hadn't followed. He turned back and gave her a cold look, speaking in a low voice.
"Reporting to Young Master, this servant has some matters to attend to."
The beautiful woman's face paled upon hearing this, and she said with a troubled expression.
"Hmph."
Wang Xiaohu snorted coldly and turned to leave.
"Second Mistress, Third Mistress."
When Wang Xiaohu arrived at Madam Wang's courtyard, he saw Chen Yingying and Su Roumei kneeling on a washboard in the center of the courtyard.
Upon hearing the voice, Chen Yingying and Su Roumei's shoulders trembled slightly, and they didn't dare to raise their heads.
Beside Chen Yingying and Su Roumei was another washboard, which Wang Xiaohu knew at a glance was for him.
"Your son greets Mother."
Wang Xiaohu lowered his head, kneeling obediently on the washboard, his face full of grievance.
Seeing Wang Xiaohu stride confidently into the courtyard, Madam Wang felt a pang of unease. But seeing him kneeling obediently on the washboard as usual, her confidence returned.
"Bang!"
Madam Wang slammed her hand on the table.
"Su Roumei, do you know your mistake?"
Madam Wang's beautiful eyes blazed with anger as she shouted at Su Roumei kneeling on the washboard.
"Roumei knows her mistake,"
Su Roumei replied, her face paling and her voice trembling.
"Good that you know your mistake. Fang'er, go and slap her face fifty times."
Seeing this, Madam Wang coldly ordered her personal maid.
"Yes, Madam."
Fang'er, beaming with pride, quickly went to Su Roumei kneeling on the washboard and raised her hand to slap her.
"Get out of the way!"
Wang Xiaohu roared, slapping the beautiful Fang'er away. He then glared at Madam Wang and said, "Mother, Third Sister is still a lady of our Wang family. How can she be bullied by a lowly servant?"
"Xiaohu, you—you're going to be the death of me!"
Madam Wang nearly fainted from anger. Her face flushed, she pointed at Su Roumei kneeling on the ground and said, "She dares to call herself 'Madam'! She's just a prostitute from a brothel. Su Roumei, you vixen, how dare you bewitch the young master! Guards, beat this slut to death!"
"Madam, I didn't!"
Su Roumei cried out, her face turning deathly pale.
"No?"
Upon hearing this, Madam Wang sneered, "You vixen, you dare to argue? Beat her to death!"
"Get out!"
Wang Xiaohu shouted angrily as two burly men approached with wooden sticks, "Who's the master here, and who's the servant? Get out of here!"
The two burly men, somewhat wary of Wang Xiaohu, took a step back.
"Second Madam, Third Madam, please get up."
Wang Xiaohu waved to Chen Yingying and Su Roumei, "Get out of here, I have something to discuss with Mother."
"Xiaohu, you've gone too far! How dare you—"
Upon hearing this, Madam Wang swayed, pointing a finger at Wang Xiaohu, too angry to speak for a long time.
"Mother, I've been thinking about many things these past few days."
Wang Xiaohu walked to the table, poured himself a cup of hot tea, took a sip, looked at Madam Wang, and said slowly, "I think I should grow up now and can no longer be as willful and reckless as before. The once-prosperous Wang Mansion is almost ruined. From now on, Mother, you can enjoy the luxurious life of a noblewoman in the backyard, and I will shoulder the burden of this family. Mother, what do you think?"
As soon as Wang Xiaohu finished speaking, the entire courtyard fell silent, so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Su Roumei, kneeling on the ground, looked at Wang Xiaohu with an unusual glint in her beautiful eyes.

Text [008] Young Tiger (Part 8)
"Insolence!"
Madam Wang suddenly shouted angrily, raising her hand and slapping Wang Xiaohu hard across the face. She cursed wildly, "You, Wang Xiaohu, do you think you've grown wings and can disregard filial piety? I'll beat you to death, you unfilial son! Who do you think you are? If it weren't for my brother, you would have died countless times already. Do you think I don't know anything about the things you've done? You unfilial son, I'll beat you to death!" Well
, Wang Xiaohu immediately lost his nerve when he saw Madam Wang's wrath.
You should know that in his previous life, Wang Xiaohu was kept by the female town mayor and had an innate fear of fierce women. Wang Xiaohu, whose legs were trembling, ran out for his life, forgetting that his second aunt Chen Yingying and third aunt Su Roumei were still kneeling on the ground.
"I'll beat you to death, you unfilial son! I'll teach you to run, I'll teach you to run!"
Madam Wang, seemingly out of nowhere, held a ruler and chased after Wang Xiaohu, giving him a thorough beating.
"Mother, I was wrong, I know I was wrong, okay? Please stop hitting me, it hurts so much!"
Chaos erupted throughout the manor as Wang Xiaohu ran around frantically, his face flushed, his eyes filled with fear as he pleaded for mercy.
Wang Xiaohu's heart pounded, and like a headless fly, he rushed into a boudoir. Just as he turned to close the door, Madam Wang, who had been chasing after him, knocked him to the ground. Falling
backward, Wang Xiaohu screamed, his hands flailing wildly, then instinctively grabbed Madam Wang and rolled onto the ground.
A fragrant breeze wafted over, and Wang Xiaohu, feeling dizzy, felt his right hand grasp a soft mass. Almost instinctively, he grabbed it twice, and his skilled touch immediately stirred up the deep-seated desires within Madam Wang, who let out a coquettish moan, "Mmm—".
Wang Xiaohu's bones went numb instantly.
Coming to his senses, he saw Madam Wang's cheeks flushed, her beautiful eyes brimming with tears, her pink lips slightly parted, her face radiating spring-like allure. Wang Xiaohu's heart skipped a beat, and his thieving hand instinctively gripped her again.
"Ah!"
Madam Wang felt a sharp, burning pain in her chest and couldn't help but groan. Coming back to her senses, their eyes met, and their hearts skipped a beat simultaneously. At that moment, Madam Wang clearly felt something hard and hot pressing against her lower abdomen. The mature Madam Wang certainly understood what that hard, hot thing was. Madam Wang's heart trembled twice, a flash of lustful surprise crossing her alluring eyes. Her legs tightened abruptly, and she glared fiercely at Wang Xiaohu.
"Mother, let me help you up."
Wang Xiaohu could tell that Madam Wang was already aroused, but remembering her fierce impression earlier, he cautiously whispered to her.
"Mmm."
Madam Wang responded softly, her body going limp as she collapsed to the ground.
Wang Xiaohu gently supported her waist and helped her up.
"Madam, let me help you."
At this moment, Fang'er quietly approached Madam Wang and whispered.
"Hmph."
Madam Wang snapped out of her daze upon hearing this, glared at Wang Xiaohu fiercely, and snorted coldly, "Fang'er, let's go. Also, tell the head steward that there will be no dinner for the young master tonight."
"Yes, Madam."
Fang'er dared not act arrogantly as before, and secretly glanced at Wang Xiaohu before whispering her reply.
Wang Xiaohu watched Madam Wang sway her hips and walk away with captivating charm, sniffed twice with his right hand, smiled mysteriously, and returned to his room with his head held high.
The bedsheets had been changed, and Wang Xiaohu, lying on the bed, couldn't help but chuckle foolishly, recalling the steamy events that had occurred not long ago.
"Young Master, Madam wants you to go to the living room,"
Chen Ling'er called softly, appearing by the bedside at some unknown time.
"Ah, oh, what is it?"
Snapping out of his reverie, Wang Xiaohu wiped the drool from his mouth and asked Chen Ling'er with a lecherous look.
"It seems Lord Muramasa is looking for you,"
Chen Ling'er said in a low, almost inaudible voice, her face flushed.
"Oh,"
Wang Xiaohu nodded and followed Chen Ling'er to the living room.
Madam Wang, dressed in a long purple-blue dress, sat in a chair, her face frosty. Seeing Wang Xiaohu enter, she coldly snorted, "Sit down."
"Yes, Mother,"
Wang Xiaohu replied, quickly finding a chair and sitting down.
"Xiaohu, you know about the severe drought this year. Without river water for irrigation, the harvest will inevitably be reduced. Our Wang family is large and prosperous, and our expenses are high. Not only can the rent not be increased this year, but it must be reduced, otherwise, someone might die. Tomorrow, go to the inner treasury and take out two hundred taels of silver to give to the head steward, understand?"
At this point, Madam Wang's face was stern, even somewhat jealous, and her tone left no room for argument.
"Yes—yes, Mother."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu's head throbbed. He still didn't know where the inner treasury was, so he could only bite the bullet and agree.
"Hmph."
Seeing this, Madam Wang snorted angrily, "Xiaohu, don't be stingy. Don't think I don't know how much money is in the inner treasury."
"Understood, Mother,"
Wang Xiaohu replied bitterly.
"Also, our Dawang Village and Xiaowang Village have organized some kind of poetry competition over the river. Xiaohu, as the only scholar in our village, don't forget to go to the village headman tomorrow."
Madam Wang said this with a sigh of helplessness.
"Yes, Mother."
A poetry competition? Wang Xiaohu immediately perked up upon hearing this. As a modern, well-behaved young man from the 21st century, poetry and prose were naturally second nature to him.
"Alright, go back now."
Madam Wang said indifferently, a hint of doubt flashing in her beautiful eyes.
After Wang Xiaohu left, Madam Wang also left the living room. Madam Wang was very shrewd. While her earlier scolding and beating of Wang Xiaohu was partly due to him, it was also for show. However, what surprised Madam Wang was that this time it wasn't because Wang Xiaohu had caused any trouble outside, but because the village headman had come to ask for a favor because of Wang Xiaohu's reputation as a scholar.
And how Wang Xiaohu obtained his "scholar" title was unknown to others, but Madam Wang knew perfectly well. However, even a village head is still an official, and when the village head came to ask for help, Madam Wang initially wanted to refuse outright. However, given the "life-or-death struggle" between the two villages, Madam Wang couldn't simply refuse outright. Therefore, the scene of Madam Wang summoning Wang Xiaohu to the living room just now occurred.

[009] Young Tiger (Nine)
Wang Xiaohu returned to his room, his heart filled with anxiety, constantly wondering where the treasury might be hidden.
If Wang Xiaohu couldn't produce the silver tomorrow, wouldn't he be exposed? Wang Xiaohu looked at the gold key on his chest, his brows furrowed, his face turning ashen. Seeing Wang Xiaohu's worried expression, Chen Ling'er couldn't help but say with heartache, "Young Master, if you're short of silver, Ling'er has some here."
Saying this, Chen Ling'er took out a small pink purse from her bosom.
"Money? Young Master has plenty."
Wang Xiaohu looked up and saw Chen Ling'er reluctantly presenting her purse to him. He chuckled in surprise, "Ling'er, be good, let Young Master give you a kiss."
With that, Wang Xiaohu reached out and pulled Chen Ling'er into his arms, rolling her onto the bed.
"Young Master, no—don't—ah, be gentle—"
Lustful Wang Xiaohu ignored Chen Ling'er's desperate pleas, quickly tearing off her clothes. In no time, their bodies were intertwined, and a seductive moan followed.
After their ordeal, Wang Xiaohu, holding Chen Ling'er's fair body in his arms, stood there in a daze.
With a creak, the door opened. "
Young Master, dinner's ready,"
Chen Qiao'er called softly, her face flushed.
"Ah."
Hearing this, Wang Xiaohu jolted awake and sat up in bed.
"Young Master, let Ling'er help you get dressed."
Chen Ling'er, her pretty face flushed, glanced furtively at Chen Qiao'er before quickly getting up to help Wang Xiaohu dress.
"Hehe."
Wang Xiaohu chuckled, taking the opportunity to grope her as he jumped off the bed. Once dressed, he noticed Chen Ling'er's purse had fallen to the floor. He bent down to pick it up, and as he looked down, he froze, his breathing quickening.
"Young Master—"
Seeing Wang Xiaohu staring blankly at her purse
, Chen Ling'er couldn't help but coo shyly. Hearing this, Wang Xiaohu's heart skipped a beat, his blood boiled, and his eyes blazed with fury as he glared at Chen Ling'er. "Young Master, let Qiao'er help you wash your hands. The food won't taste good if it gets cold,"
Chen Qiao'er said sourly, carrying a copper basin.
"Alright, alright,"
Wang Xiaohu laughed heartily, feeling extremely pleased.
After the meal, Chen Ling'er and Chen Qiao'er gave Wang Xiaohu a pitiful look before reluctantly turning to leave.
It should be noted that as maids, Chen Ling'er and Chen Qiao'er were not allowed to stay overnight in the master's quarters, and Wang Xiaohu, preoccupied with the "inner treasury," didn't try to persuade them to stay much longer after the meal.
Lifting the sheet, just as Wang Xiaohu had expected, it was a solid bed with no gaps under the bed frame. In the center of the bed surface was a keyhole. Excitedly, Wang Xiaohu hurriedly inserted the golden key. As the key turned, a harsh clanging sound of chains echoed, and the bed surface concaveed inward, revealing a dark opening, just large enough for one person to pass through.
Wang Xiaohu quickly got out of bed, picked up a candlestick from the table, and carefully crawled into the opening. He sank about three meters down, revealing a spacious secret passage. Walking twenty meters along the passage, he came to a stone-built secret chamber. The chamber was enormous, filled with densely packed, sealed chests. Wang Xiaohu silently counted them; there were over sixty chests in total.
On both sides of the chamber were more than ten wooden shelves, each two meters high. Besides scattered gold and silver ingots and jewels, there were dozens of account books, as well as some armor and weapons.
Blushing and breathing rapidly, Wang Xiaohu casually flipped through a few account books, his heart sinking to the bottom.
Looking at Wang Sanwan's notes, Wang Xiaohu immediately understood Wang Sanwan's true background!
Wang Sanwan was Wang Hu, the infamous bandit who had been notorious twenty years ago. On one occasion, he had a change of heart and saved Zhang Wenshu, a down-on-his-luck scholar who had once traveled to the capital for the imperial examinations—Wang Xiaohu's maternal uncle. Later, after Wang Hu's rebellion failed, he fled to Heping County, where he was saved again by Zhang Wenshu. At that time, Zhang Wenshu's sister, Zhang Ziyu, had just lost her husband. For some reason, Wang Hu and Zhang Ziyu fell in love, leading to Wang Hu changing his name to Wang Sanwan, marrying Zhang Ziyu, and living in seclusion in Dawang Village.
As for Wang Hu's former bandit brothers, they had all been assassinated by him over the past decade. It could be said that now, apart from Zhang Wenshu and her brother, no one else knew Wang Hu's true identity.
Wang Hu was severely injured as a result, which led to his death six months ago. Poor Wang Xiaohu, who barely knew any characters, couldn't understand the account books or the notes he left behind. He didn't know his father's background, only that his father had left him a vast fortune, enough for him to live a life of luxury.
Wang Xiaohu's original courtesy name was Youqian, but he felt uncomfortable with the name and changed it to Youqian, meaning he was very wealthy. Because of this, Wang Xiaohu angered Old Master Liu so much that he couldn't eat for three days, lamenting that he was beyond redemption!
Zhang Wenshu, a man of principle, was willing to pretend to be petty and greedy to repay a debt of gratitude, remaining in his post in Heping County for fifteen years. Otherwise, with his talent as a third-place scholar, he would have long since been promoted to the capital.
The further Wang Xiaohu read, the colder his heart grew. The six million taels of gold and silver in this secret chamber were merely a drop in
the ocean of Wang Hu's wealth. There was another treasure chamber in the Jade Maiden Temple on the mountain, and the true treasure was located in the last treasure chamber among the Twelve Peaks of Wushan. During his rebellion, Wang Hu amassed over a hundred million taels of gold and silver, making him practically richer than a nation.
Furthermore, he personally founded the third-ranked assassin organization in the martial arts world. Wang Xiaohu hadn't practiced the Wang family's ancestral divine skill, the "Overlord's Technique," nor had he taught it to him. Wang Hu had no intention of passing on his "family fortune" to Wang Xiaohu; he only wanted him to live a peaceful and wealthy life.
According to Wang Hu's far-sighted plan, perhaps a true genius would emerge in his descendants, who might actually inherit his "family fortune" and rebel to become emperor!
It seemed that in Wang Hu's eyes, Wang Xiaohu was nothing but a good-for-nothing!
Wiping the cold sweat from his forehead, Wang Xiaohu felt a heavy weight in his heart. Having transmigrated from the 21st century, the instinct to be prepared for danger was almost ingrained in him. Rebellion was not his immediate plan; perhaps, as he had said, he would let his "descendants" rebel.
After all, the "family fortune" he left behind was terrifying! Billions of gold and silver, enough to rival a nation, and a network of assassins and intelligence—given the right opportunity, a simple call to arms and the use of that wealth to recruit soldiers and horses could certainly lead to a successful rebellion.
Wang Xiaohu didn't even know how he had emerged from that secret room. Of course, he hadn't forgotten to slip a few silver ingots into his pocket before leaving.

[010] Young Tiger (Ten)
Waking up early, Wang Xiaohu, with dark circles under his eyes, opened the door and was startled.
"Wangcai, how did your injury heal so quickly?"
Wang Xiaohu asked, somewhat surprised.
"Young Master, don't you remember what the Second Madam's background is?"
Upon hearing this, Wangcai quickly whispered, "Sister Qiao'er gave me one of those Hundred Flowers Pills last night, and my internal injuries are completely healed, and my external injuries are also fine."
"Hundred Flowers Pills?"
Wang Xiaohu was taken aback upon hearing this, then nodded and said, "Yes, that's good. Where are Ling'er and Qiao'er?"
"Reporting to Young Master, Miss Ling'er and Miss Qiao'er were summoned by the Second Madam."
Upon hearing this, Wangcai quickly replied.
"Oh."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu nodded and said, "Wangcai, go and give this silver to the head steward."
"Yes, Young Master."
Wangcai, with his bruised and swollen face, was stunned upon hearing this, and after a long while, he quickly nodded vigorously in response, took the silver ingots from Wang Xiaohu's hands, and went to the outer courtyard.
When Wang Xiaohu got up, it was already past breakfast time. He went to the dining room, ate a little something, and then left the mansion with Wangcai.
Entering the village head's house through the back door, Wang Dazhi, the village head, welcomed Wang Xiaohu into the living room with a complicated expression.
"Uncle Wang, Qian already knows about what happened in our village. I will be there on time for the poetry competition the day after tomorrow," Wang Xiaohu
said, setting down his teacup and speaking in a measured tone.
"Young...Young Master, what did you just say?"
Wang Dazhi's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this, and he said, his face turning slightly pale.
"What, Uncle Wang, are you afraid I won't dare to go the day after tomorrow?"
Wang Xiaohu said, his expression displeased upon seeing this.
"No, no—"
Wang Dazhi hurriedly protested.
"Alright, let's leave it at that,"
Wang Xiaohu said, taking the initiative, and stood up with his head held high, leaving with an air of nonchalance.
"Wangcai, let's go to the city,"
Wang Xiaohu said, lying on a bamboo chair with a beaming smile.
"Young Master, are you going to the county magistrate's place, or to the brothel?"
Wangcai came to Wang Xiaohu's side and asked in a low voice.
"Let's go to my uncle's place first."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu replied without blinking.
"Yes, young master."
Wangcai waved his hand and said, "Start the sedan chair, let's go to the county magistrate's mansion
." Dawang Village was only about thirty li from the county town, and in just three hours, Wang Xiaohu arrived in the county town in a bamboo chair.
"Young master, are you going to eat at a restaurant or at the county magistrate's house?"
Wangcai, covered in sweat, wiped the sweat from his face and asked Wang Xiaohu.
"Let's order something to fill our stomachs at a restaurant first,"
Wang Xiaohu said, seeing the expectant looks on everyone's faces.
Judging from the expressions of the sedan chair carriers, this wasn't their first time coming to the city to freeload off Wang Xiaohu.

Text [011] Talented Scholar and Beautiful Woman (Part 1)
"Cousin, cousin, when have I ever lied to you?"
Wang Xiaohu said, forcing a smile. "You, you didn't sneak out again this time, did you?"
"Hmph."
Zhang Yingying blushed upon hearing this, her eyebrows furrowed slightly, and she snorted. "Cousin Xiaohu, it was Grandfather who sent me to call you home. He's afraid you'll cause trouble in the city. I heard that some kind of imperial envoy has come to inspect."
"Imperial envoy?"
Wang Xiaohu's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this, and he exclaimed in surprise.
"Hehe."
Seeing Wang Xiaohu's sudden change in expression, Zhang Yingying couldn't help but say triumphantly, "Cousin Xiaohu, don't be afraid. The imperial envoy who came this time is actually my eldest brother."
"Eldest cousin?"
Wang Xiaohu was stunned upon hearing this.
"Hmm."
Zhang Yingying nodded heavily, then cracked her whip at Wang Xiaohu, saying, "Cousin Xiaohu, I'll tell you more about Big Brother's matter when we get home."
Wang Xiaohu responded listlessly, his mind heavy with worry, and followed Zhang Wenshu to the Zhang residence.
The Zhang residence was right next to the county government office. Wang Xiaohu entered through the back gate; the front gate was already closed, and no guests were allowed.
Wang Xiaohu spent half the day playing with Zhang Yingying in the backyard, until dinner time when he finally met his maternal grandfather, maternal uncle, aunt, and cousin.
"Cousin Xiaohu, what are you daydreaming about?"
Seeing Wang Xiaohu lost in thought, Zhang Yingying gave him a playful shove.
"Nothing, nothing."
Wang Xiaohu blushed, cupped his hands in greeting, and said, "Xiaohu greets Grandfather, Uncle, Aunt, and Big Cousin."
Wang Xiaohu's sudden appearance left Zhang Wenshu and the others speechless!
"Ahem."
Zhang Zhongguo, regaining his senses, coughed twice and said, "Xiaohu, don't be afraid, come and sit here with your grandpa."
"Yes, grandpa."
Wang Xiaohu called out sweetly and scurried over to sit down next to Zhang Zhongguo, making Zhang Wenshu frown.
"Hmph, always so eager to please, you must have done something bad again."
Zhang Yingying sat down next to Liu Ya'er with a huff and huffed.
Although Zhang Yingying's voice was very low, everyone at the table heard it clearly, and Zhang Zhongguo's smile froze for a moment.
Zhang Xiaoyi looked at Wang Xiaohu with a strange expression.
"No, I didn't do anything bad this time!"
Wang Xiaohu, who was good at reading people, quickly explained, "The day after tomorrow, I'm representing our Dawang Village to compete in poetry with Xiaowang Village, and I came here to have my uncle be the judge!"
As soon as Wang Xiaohu finished speaking, Zhang Xiaoyi couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of wine.
"You unfilial son! How dare you!"
Seeing Zhang Xiaoyi spit out wine, Zhang Wenshu slammed his fist on the table, his face extremely ugly, and shouted angrily.
"Father, please calm down. I didn't mean it. I was just... just a little surprised by my cousin."
Zhang Xiaoyi quickly tried to explain when he saw Zhang Wenshu's anger.
"Enough."
Zhang Wenshu waved his hand and shouted.
"Hmph."
Zhang Zhongguo slammed his fist on the table and said in a deep voice, "Wenshu, Xiaoyi is now a third-rank imperial inspector. Do you think you can just shout at him like that? Mind your manners."
As soon as Zhang Zhongguo said this, the faces of Zhang Wenshu and Zhang Xiaoyi turned extremely ugly.
"Your son will obey your teachings, Father."
Zhang Wenshu stood up and bowed to Zhang Zhongguo, his face showing shame.
Based on his experience from his previous life, Wang Xiaohu felt that the atmosphere at the dinner today was strange, as if something big was about to happen, making him feel uneasy. Zhang Yingying, on the other hand, ate happily without a care in the world.
The next day, unable to resist Zhang Yingying's nagging, he consulted Zhang Zhongguo's opinion and took Zhang Yingying back to Dawang Village. As they left, Zhang Zhongguo's expression was extremely solemn.

[012] Talented Scholar and Beautiful Woman (Part Two)
"Cousin, do you know how your eldest cousin became an inspector?"
Feeling guilty, Wang Xiaohu finally couldn't help but ask Zhang Yingying.
"I don't know."
Zhang Yingying, her face flushed, tilted her head and looked at Wang Xiaohu, playfully sticking out her pink tongue. "But I heard Grandpa say in private that the three major factions in the capital are fighting fiercely, and that my eldest brother is being put on the spot, pushed to the forefront to fight."
The innocent Zhang Yingying had no idea of the cruelty of political struggle, but Wang Xiaohu, who had once been kept by a powerful figure, was very clear about the darkness within bureaucratic struggles; one wrong step and he could be shattered to pieces.
"Cousin, does my mother know that my older cousin is back?"
Wang Xiaohu rubbed his head and asked Zhang Yingying.
"No."
Zhang Yingying frowned slightly, her face full of doubt, and said, "My aunt always seems a bit mysterious when she comes to the city. I wonder what she's doing."
"Thump!"
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu fell off the chair.
"Young Master!"
"Cousin Xiaohu—"
Everyone was shocked when Wang Xiaohu fell off the sedan chair.
"Haha—hahaha—"
A mocking laugh suddenly came from ahead. Covered in dust, Wang Xiaohu spat out a mouthful of dirt, looked up, and saw several handsome men in white robes surrounding two beautiful women in the pavilion ahead, looking in his direction.

"Zhao Kangping, Lin Xuefeng, you're asking for it!"
Seeing someone mocking Wang Xiaohu, Zhang Yingying immediately flew into a rage, grabbing her small whip and rushing towards the men in the pavilion.
"It's Little Chili!"
Upon seeing this, Zhao Kangping, dressed in white, changed his expression slightly, let out a soft cry, and quickly turned to a woman in a lotus-pink dress, bowing respectfully and saying, "Please, Miss Ruyu, explain this to us."
"Thank you, Miss Ruyu,"
Lin Xuefeng and the others quickly echoed.
"Gentlemen, you're too kind,"
Hua Ruyu smiled, her lotus-like steps light and graceful as she approached the pavilion. She addressed Zhang Yingying, whose eyes were blazing with anger, "Little Yingying, who has provoked our lovely young lady? Why are you so angry?"
"Sister Yu, it's them! They laughed at Cousin Xiaohu! It's infuriating!"
Zhang Yingying stopped, pointing her small hand at Zhao Kangping and the others, and said fiercely.
"Is that so?"
Hua Ruyu smiled charmingly upon hearing this, adjusting her bangs with her jade-like hand, and said in a sweet voice, "Little Yingying has misunderstood Brother Kangping and Young Master Lin. It was Brother Kangping's beautiful poem that made everyone laugh. If you don't believe me, ask Brother Kangping and the others."
"Yes, yes."
Zhao Kangping was stunned by Hua Ruyu's sudden flirtatious glance and nodded vigorously in agreement. The others were all captivated by Hua Ruyu's beauty!
"Hmph."
Zhang Yingying snorted and turned her head away.
"Ahem."
Wang Xiaohu, who had gotten up from the ground, saw Hua Ruyu's beautiful face and suddenly became bold. He strode forward and coughed twice, saying, "Youqian greets the two fairies."
"Ruyu greets Young Master Wang."
"Xueyan greets Young Master Wang."
Hua Ruyu and Lin Xueyan seemed to dislike Wang Xiaohu, but returned the greeting indifferently.
"Haha, you're too kind, ladies."
Wang Xiaohu laughed heartily upon seeing this. "The weather's nice today, quite sunny and breezy. Wangcai, hurry up and bring the iced fruit up and put it on the table." "
Yes, young master."
Upon hearing this, Wangcai quickly scurried over and took a plate of iced fruit from the box.
Seeing Wang Xiaohu's shamelessness in taking over the guests' business with a wave of his hand, Zhao Kangping and the others were immediately angered.
"Please, ladies, try some of the iced fruit my cousin brought from the capital. It's something money can't buy."
Wang Xiaohu gave Wangcai an approving look, then stepped forward and fawned over Hua Ruyu and Lin Xueyan, completely ignoring Zhao Kangping and the others.
"Hmph."
Zhao Kangping and the others snorted coldly and turned their heads away.
"It really is ice fruit!"
The greedy Lin Xueyan exclaimed with delight upon seeing the purplish-red fruit on the silver plate. "Sister Yu, Brother, come and try some!"
"Is that so? Brother Kangping, please."
Lin Xuefeng said calmly, giving Zhao Kangping and the others a meaningful look.
"Miss Ruyu, please; Miss Ying, please."
With that "please," Wang Xiaohu was immediately pushed aside by Zhao Kangping and the others.
"Delicious!"
"Such a refreshing feeling."
In the blink of an eye, the plate of ice fruit was devoured. A smug smile appeared on the lips of Zhao Kangping and the others as they turned to look at Wang Xiaohu.
"Thank you for your generosity, Brother Youqian. I have a couplet here that I'd like to ask you for your opinion on. What do you think?"
Zhao Kangping said, looking at Wang Xiaohu with disdain.
"Hmph."
Wang Xiaohu snorted coldly upon hearing this and said in a low voice, "Speak."
"Zhao Kangping, you're asking for it!"
Zhang Yingying, who hadn't eaten many ice fruits, was furious when she saw Zhao Kangping and the others ganging up on Wang Xiaohu again. She shouted and raised her whip high, striking Zhao Kangping's face with a crisp "crack." Zhao Kangping immediately let out a scream, covering his face with his hands and staggering back several steps. "
Young Master Zhao."
"Brother Sihai!"
No one expected Zhang Yingying to suddenly attack. Hua Ruyu and Lin Xueyan were terrified, while Lin Xuefeng and the others glared angrily at Zhang Yingying.
"What are you looking at? You're asking for it!"
Seeing Lin Xuefeng and the others glaring at her, Zhang Yingying's temper flared up, and she raised her whip, ready to lash out at them.
"Disgraceful! Absolutely uncivilized! Outrageous!"
Zhao Kangping, covering his left cheek, gasped for breath, his anger barely contained.
"Damn it, what is this crap!"
Wang Xiaohu cursed inwardly, then quickly shouted at Zhang Yingying, "Cousin, stop! It's just a couplet, who's afraid of who! If you've got the guts, you pretty boys, bring it on!"
Wang Xiaohu's words left Zhao Kangping and the others speechless!
"This is simply outrageous!"
Zhao Kangping, nearly fainting with anger, roared, "Wang Youqian, my first line is: 'Heaven nears the Yuan Gate, the auspicious aura of the Dipper and Ox.'"
"Easy!"
Wang Xiaohu swished open his folding fan, his face full of arrogance, and said, "The clouds part on the Yellow Path, forever relying on the auspicious light of the sun and moon."
"You—"
Zhao Kangping swayed upon hearing this, his face flushed with anger, and said, "You stand guard in the north, your heroic spirit shining brightly like the sun and moon."
Wang Xiaohu, upon hearing this, smiled contemptuously and said, "You are of the water element, your murderous aura soaring and cleansing the universe."
Lin Xuefeng, seeing this, quickly spoke up, "I also have a couplet here: One begets two, two begets three, three begets all things, Lü Dongbin's precious sword shines brightly, chasing away a thousand evils overseas."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu gave Lin Xuefeng a meaningful look and leisurely said, "Earth follows Heaven, Heaven follows the Dao, the Dao follows Nature, He Xiangu's fairy basket sparkles, bringing a hundred blessings to the world."
Everyone gasped, not expecting that Wang Xiaohu, who was illiterate, would be so quick-witted.
"Cousin Xiaohu, you are amazing!"
Zhang Yingying, who had been dumbfounded, came back to her senses and looked at Wang Xiaohu with admiration, and said loudly.
"Hehe, not impressive at all."
Wang Xiaohu glanced at Hua Ruyu and Lin Xueyan with a beaming smile, feigning modesty, and said, "By the way, I also have two couplets here that I'd like to ask you for your critique."
"My first line is—'Mist locks the mountain peak, the mountain locks the mist,'"
Wang Xiaohu said before the others could react. Upon
hearing this, Zhao Kangping and the others were immediately dumbfounded. Even Hua Ruyu and Lin Xueyan frowned, deep in thought. "Mist locks the mountain peak, the mountain locks the mist." Reading it backwards also results in "Mist locks the mountain peak, the mountain locks the mist." Leaving aside the imagery, just the fact that it could be read backwards stumped everyone present.
"Hehe."
Seeing everyone's reaction, Wang Xiaohu coldly smiled and said, "Since you can't even match such a simple first line, then you should be able to match this one, right? 'Cold water spills. One drop of water. Two drops of water. Three drops of water.'"
Upon hearing the second line, Zhao Kangping and the others turned ashen-faced. Such an ingenious couplet—who could possibly match it? This couplet not only possessed profound meaning, but the "one drop of water," "two drops of water," and "three drops of water" also subtly corresponded to the three radicals of the character "面" (miàn, meaning "surface"). It was truly brilliant.
Hua Ruyu, still reeling from the shock, looked up at Wang Xiaohu with a bewildered expression, but there was no trace of him to be seen.

[014] Talented Scholar and Beautiful Woman (Part 4)
After Wang Xiaohu woke up, a sweet voice rang in his ears: "Young Master, you're awake."
Finding that the person who came in wasn't Wangcai, Wang Xiaohu sat up abruptly, only to discover it was Fang'er, the beautiful maid who usually served Madam Wang. After placing the breakfast she brought on the table, she stood prettily by the bedside, her face slightly flushed, saying, "Madam said that Young Master is now an adult, and this humble maid has come to serve you."
Wang Xiaohu was stunned by her words. When had Madam Wang ever been so considerate to him? He thought about how he had grown up and needed a woman, and also how he had been observing Fang'er while she spoke. It's important to know that Wang Xiaohu wasn't the original "Wang Xiaohu" but a "transmigrator," and was still completely unfamiliar with Madam Wang! Wang Xiaohu had met Fang'er once before, but due to Madam Wang's influence, he hadn't really paid her much attention. Now that Fang'er stood confidently before him, he naturally had to examine her closely. He then noticed that Fang'er was beautiful, with a shapely figure and a captivating smile that was naturally alluring and endearing. However, her clothing seemed rather thin, as if she wore nothing underneath.
Wang Xiaohu found this strange and asked, "Eh, what does Mother want you to serve her for? Where is Wangcai?"
Fang'er blushed and giggled, saying, "Didn't I just say that Madam hopes Young Master will soon learn the ways of the world and bring children and grandchildren to the Wang family? After learning of Madam's intentions, and because I have always admired Young Master, I am willing to offer myself to you and share a passionate encounter. I wonder what Young Master's opinion is…"
Before Fang'er could finish, the lecherous Wang Xiaohu interrupted, "Thank you so much for your kindness, Miss Fang'er! This is a great honor for a wealthy man, especially since I have long harbored the same feelings!" As
he spoke, Wang Xiaohu couldn't help but laugh.
Heh! It turns out Wang Xiaohu's aloofness earlier was all an act. He'd initially thought he was a "good rabbit doesn't eat the grass near its burrow," but now, with such beauty before him, he'd immediately given himself away, becoming the one who "gets the moon first from the water tower."
It seems the rumors about Wang Xiaohu, Chen Ling'er, and Chen Qiao'er weren't unfounded.
Fang'er, hearing Wang Xiaohu's thoughtfulness, smiled sweetly and came to the bedside to undress him. Wang Xiaohu was somewhat flattered, but also aroused, unable to suppress his desire. Then, seeing Fang'er undress, he indeed saw no other clothing beneath her single garment.
Wang Xiaohu scrutinized Fang'er's snow-white skin, exquisite and delicate, her lower abdomen smooth and supple. Below her lovely navel, a few sparse strands of hair connected, gradually growing thicker and denser downwards before disappearing between her snow-white, plump legs, forming a striking black and white triangle, giving her a unique youthful charm. The alluring expression in her eyes revealed her eager desire for sexual intimacy.
Fang'er climbed naked onto Wang Xiaohu's bed, and the room instantly filled with joy, as warm as spring. Between the pillows, they indulged in passionate lovemaking.
Wang Xiaohu had Fang'er lie on the bed, then rested his face against her soft lower abdomen, gently stroking and caressing it, feeling the delicate sensation, causing Fang'er to let out a soft moan of satisfaction.
Then, he gently parted Fang'er's legs... Wang Xiaohu's face involuntarily moved closer, and when his lips lightly touched the sparse pubic hair, Fang'er trembled as if unable to resist the tickling, her hands constantly stroking the back of Wang Xiaohu's head.
Fang'er's back arched, emitting soft moans and groans, and she slowly twisted her hips to match Wang Xiaohu's tongue.
"Mmm...so beautiful!"
Fang'er's eyes were half-closed, her long eyelashes trembling.
Wang Xiaohu's lips and tongue moved upwards, burying his head above Fang'er, his chest pressing against hers and rubbing against her.
"Ah...ya..."
When Wang Xiaohu's tongue lightly swept across her nipples, Fang'er arched her upper body, offering her snow-white, soft breasts to him.
Then, Wang Xiaohu's head left Fang'er's chest and continued to slide upwards until their lips met, Fang'er's waist swayed as if she were very thirsty, preparing to receive Wang Xiaohu's thrusts.
Just then, the door suddenly opened, and Wang Cai's cheerful greeting rang out: "Good morning, young master!"
Wang Xiaohu jumped up, realizing he was alone in the bedroom, clutching a pillow, staring blankly around…
Where was Fang'er? Where had Fang'er gone?
Heh, Fang'er was still serving Madam Wang in her room. It turned out that everything just now was merely a dream.
Startled awake by Wang Cai, he felt a strange unease, his heart pounding wildly. Wang Cai brought him breakfast, but Wang Xiaohu said he couldn't eat it. He just lay on the bed, pretending to sleep. Wang Cai asked him with concern what was wrong. Wang Xiaohu lazily replied, "My head is a little dizzy, and my heart is pounding. I want to rest quietly by myself. You should go downstairs first!"
Wang Cai usually took meticulous care of Wang Xiaohu and rarely saw him in any pain. Seeing him so weak, he was very worried... especially since today was the day of the poetry competition between Da Wang Village and Xiao Wang Village.
Actually, Wang Cai didn't notice that Wang Xiaohu was leaning on the bed instead of lying on his back. He was mainly trying to hide the fact that although his limbs were weak, his fifth limb was full of energy due to a wet dream and had nowhere to release it.
It turned out that Wang Xiaohu had just had this wet dream before getting up, and was about to have a good show with the goddess of Wushan. If Wang Cai had come later, it would probably have ended with a wet dream, which would have relieved his desire. Unfortunately, before he could even have a wet dream, Wangcai barged in with breakfast, interrupting him. So, his engorged steed was ready to gallop, but with nowhere to run, it was painfully throbbing. If you were Wang Xiaohu, would you be thrilled or not?
Seeing Wang Xiaohu's obvious displeasure, the loyal Wangcai was deeply worried. He quickly left the room and rushed to report to Madam Wang, saying, "Madam, the young master is not feeling well; he may be ill. I request that you personally visit him."
Upon hearing this, Madam Wang immediately went to visit him. When she entered the room, she saw Wang Xiaohu already asleep, facing inwards, his body curled up, his cheeks flushed like the evening glow.
Actually, Wang Xiaohu wasn't asleep at this time. He just realized that his cheap "mother" had come, and his penis was still erect. If he were awake, he would stand up and bow, and the tent between his legs would definitely be seen by Madam Wang. He would be too embarrassed to face her then, so he pretended to be asleep. He arched his body to avoid being seen in that embarrassing situation. His cheeks were red and hot not because he was sick or had a fever, but because he was ashamed to be seen through.
When Madam Wang saw Wang Xiaohu's unusual appearance, she tiptoed out of the room and whispered to Wangcai, "It seems that Xiaohu wants to avoid the poetry competition and is pretending to be sick. Go and call the second madam over."
After saying that, Madam Wang snorted and turned to leave.

Chapter [015] Talented Scholar and Beautiful Woman (5)
Wangcai was stunned when he heard this. After coming back to his senses, he slapped his forehead and looked at Wang Xiaohu with sudden realization.
"Who said I was going to skip the poetry competition? I'm up right now!"
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu's anger flared
. Being looked down upon by a woman was a huge blow to his proud masculine pride. Although Wang Xiaohu was a gigolo before his transmigration... "Cousin Xiaohu, cousin Xiaohu, what's wrong?" Just as Wang Xiaohu was dawdling as he got out of bed, Zhang Yingying, her face flushed and carrying a sword, rushed in with concern. Startled, Wang Xiaohu trembled violently, his face turning pale, and he quickly hid back under the covers.
"No, I'm not sick, I'm not sick."
Seeing the fiery Zhang Yingying about to pounce with a gleaming sword in her hand, Wang Xiaohu shook his head frantically and cried out.
"Not sick?"
Zhang Yingying was taken aback by his words, tilting her head to look at Wang Xiaohu, her face full of confusion. "Cousin Xiaohu, if you're not sick, why aren't you up yet? You're practically a lazybones."
"I'm getting up, I'm getting up."
Seeing the sword in Zhang Yingying's hand, Wang Xiaohu suddenly became weak, his face stopped blushing, his heart stopped beating, and he quickly threw off the covers and prepared to get dressed.
"Ah!"
Suddenly, a charming exclamation rang out. Wang Xiaohu looked up and saw a blush flash across Chen Yingying's face.
It turned out that Chen Yingying, Zhang Yingying, Chen Qiao'er, and Chen Ling'er were doing their morning exercise in the backyard. Hearing that Wang Xiaohu was sick, Zhang Yingying rushed over first, while Chen Yingying, with the help of Chen Qiao'er and Chen Ling'er, had taken a bath and changed into clean clothes. She arrived a little late and didn't expect to see Wang Xiaohu's fit body as soon as she entered the door.
"Second Aunt, what's your name?"
Zhang Yingying turned around at the sound of her voice, looking at Chen Yingying with a puzzled expression, and asked.
"N-nothing?"
Chen Yingying turned around and glared at Chen Ling'er and Chen Qiao'er, who were chuckling to themselves, then secretly glanced at Wangcai, who was pretending to be asleep, and said in a low voice with a blush on her face.
"Oh. Cousin Xiaohu, why do you have a worm down there—"
Zhang Yingying responded, then looked at Wang Xiaohu's groin with curiosity, and reached out to touch it with her sword, almost scaring Wang Xiaohu into fainting.
"Xiaohu, where do you feel unwell?"
Seeing Wang Xiaohu's eyes rolling back and his face full of shock, Chen Yingying glared at the "cowardly" Wang Xiaohu and quickly stepped forward to say, while pressing Wang Xiaohu down onto the bed.
"Second Aunt, is Cousin ill?"
Seeing Chen Yingying taking Wang Xiaohu's pulse, Zhang Yingying hurriedly stepped forward and asked anxiously.
"His complexion is yellowish, reddish-white, and he seems to have some internal heat."
Upon hearing this, Chen Yingying blushed, glared at Wang Xiaohu, and said irritably, "Ling'er, Qiao'er, you two help Xiaohu get up."
"Yes, Madam."
Chen Ling'er and Chen Qiao'er blushed to their ears, their eyes filled with undisguised joy as they responded.
"Yingying, Aunt will accompany you to change your clothes. You've been practicing swordsmanship all morning, you must have sweated a lot."
Chen Yingying glared fiercely at Wang Xiaohu, making him feel itchy and hot inside. Chen Yingying got up and pulled the reluctant Zhang Yingying to her feet, saying.
"Ah!"
Upon hearing this, Zhang Yingying suddenly felt uncomfortable all over her body, cried out in alarm, and fled for her life.
What defines a "lady of high society" in ancient times? It referred to daughters of wealthy families, refined and cultured women. These ladies adhered to the "Three Obediences and Four Virtues," maintaining strict discipline and cleanliness. They typically changed clothes four to seven times a day, one outfit for each occasion. For example, they would wear clothes for morning sword practice (or dance, music practice), breakfast, and after breakfast. Ancient women's etiquette was even more elaborate than men's. Girls from humble families
, on the other hand, didn't have such strict rules, mainly because their families were poor
. They would only change clothes two or three times a day. Zhang Yingying was a quintessential lady of high society; her father and brothers were all officials, and her family had very strict etiquette requirements.
For example, in some modern pretentious novels, a protagonist might attend a banquet dressed very plainly and then suddenly become famous. However, modern banquets are a continuation of ancient Chinese social traditions. Dressing unkempt and lacking taste is considered a grave insult and contempt to the host.
Seeing Chen Yingying leave, Wang Cai very tactfully bowed to Wang Xiaohu and quietly slipped away.
Immediately afterward, a series of rapid, panting breaths and teasing sounds came from inside the room.
"Mother, I'm going to the poetry competition."
After drinking three bowls of bird's nest porridge, eating seven meat buns, taking a bath, changing into clean white clothes, putting on a scholar's hat, and tucking a folding fan at his waist, Wang Xiaohu arrived at the inner courtyard to greet Madam Wang.
"Go."
Seeing Wang Xiaohu's dashing scholar's attire, Madam Wang was stunned for a long time before recovering. She gave Wang Xiaohu a strange look several times before waving him away.
"Madam, Young Master's clothes are so strange today,"
Fang'er couldn't help but say after Wang Xiaohu left.
"What's strange about them?"
Madam Wang put down her teacup and looked at Fang'er.
"According to Young Master's habits, he should be wearing magnificent and rich clothes today, so why is he wearing these somewhat—refined—clothes?"
Fang'er hesitated before saying "shabby," instead using "refined."
"Hmm."
Upon hearing this, Madam Wang nodded, her delicate brows furrowing slightly. For a moment, she seemed lost in thought, as if remembering something.
Arriving at the border between Dawang Village and Xiaowang Village, they found it already teeming with people. Almost all the scholars and literati of Heping County had come, and many from neighboring counties had also arrived, leaving Wang Xiaohu stunned.
"Young Master, the County Magistrate and the Eldest Son have also arrived."
Seeing Zhang Wenshu, dressed in official robes and exuding an imposing aura, Zhang Xiaoyi and his son sat high on the platform, Wang Cai excitedly announcing.
"Wow!"
Seeing the dozens of officials on the platform, Wang Xiaohu gasped. It seemed his prediction from the other day was correct; a major change was about to occur in Heping County. Sitting before Zhang Xiaoyi was a middle-aged man with white eyebrows and no beard; if his guess was correct, that man was likely a eunuch! Sitting below Zhang Xiaoyi was a military officer, wearing a golden tiger-head armor, at least of general rank.
Hundreds of soldiers were maintaining order around them—no, to be precise, they were protecting Zhang Xiaoyi and his group.
Wang Xiaohu suppressed the complex thoughts in his mind, feeling an immense heaviness on his body. He took several deep breaths and had Wangcai beat the gong.
"Scholar Wang is here! Scholar Wang is here!"
Hearing the gong, everyone looked towards Wang Xiaohu and his companions. Those who recognized Wang Xiaohu cheered.
After all, the story of Wang Xiaohu and his companions had already spread throughout Heping County yesterday. Of course, some people thought Wang Xiaohu was all bark and no bite, not believing he could be so talented. After all, the previous "Wang Xiaohu" was that infamous guy who was currently enjoying a carefree life in the modern world, mingling happily in officialdom!
Whether Wang Xiaohu could change his past image depended entirely on today's poetry competition.

Text [016] Talented Scholar and Beautiful Woman (VI)
"Yingying greets Father and Elder Brother."
Zhang Yingying pushed through the crowd, pulling Wang Xiaohu along, and happily bowed to Zhang Wenshu and Zhang Xiaoyi.
"Youqian greets Uncle and Elder Cousin."
Wang Xiaohu had no choice but to bite the bullet and politely bow to Zhang Wenshu and Zhang Xiaoyi.
"Hmm."
Upon hearing this, Zhang Wenshu was truly anxious, but his expression remained unchanged, and he responded indifferently.
"Your Excellency, who are these two?"
The middle-aged eunuch smiled slightly and asked Zhang Xiaoyi beside him knowingly.
"Eunuch Wei, Lord Li, these two are my younger sister and my cousin."
When he saw Wang Xiaohu being pulled over by Zhang Yingying, Zhang Xiaoyi became anxious. Now that he saw Wei Xian asking questions, he quickly introduced them to Wei Xian and Li Gang.
"Oh."
Upon hearing this, Wei Xian nodded and said nothing more.
Upon hearing this, General Li Gang merely returned the salute, his face expressionless and silent. A closer look revealed a clear hostility and distance between Li Gang and Zhang Xiaoyi.
"Youqian greets the teacher,"
Wang Xiaohu and Zhang Yingying greeted Wei Xian and the others before bowing respectfully to the old teacher.
"Hmm,"
the old teacher murmured, his eyes narrowing and his face flushed. He nodded repeatedly, saying, "Youqian, today when you and Wenle are exchanging poems, don't let it damage your relationship. Keep it brief; after all, you are classmates, and you have a long road ahead of you."
"Yes, teacher,"
Wang Xiaohu nodded emphatically. Having transmigrated, Wang Xiaohu knew how much help classmates and fellow townsmen could provide in one's future career. It was quite possible that Wang Le, Wang Wenle, and Wang Ping, Wang Dingping, would all be members of his faction in the future.
Then, the two village chiefs from Dawang Village and Xiaowang Village announced the rules of the poetry competition, which consisted of three rounds: the first round was a couplet contest, the second round was a word guessing contest, and the third round was a poem composition contest.
"Brother Wenle, Brother Dingping, please."
"Brother Youqian, please."
Wang Xiaohu, Wang Le, and Wang Ping greeted the judges, including the old master, and Zhang Xiaoyi, Wei Xian, and others, and then exchanged greetings.
"Brother Wenle, Brother Dingping, please present your couplets first."
Wang Xiaohu opened the door and said to Wang Le and Wang Ping.
"In that case, Wenle will not stand on ceremony."
Wang Le looked at Wang Xiaohu with a complicated expression and said with a flushed face, "Brother Youqian, please look at Wenle's first line—'Small marsh sinks the stars, like an immortal scattering golden chess pieces.' 'Ancient pine hangs the moon, like an old dragon holding up a night-shining pearl.'"
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu smiled and replied with the first line.
"Good."
"Good couplet!"
Everyone immediately cheered upon hearing this, while Zhang Xiaoyi and the other officials on the high platform remained expressionless, looking at the center of the platform with amusement.
"The four rivers are first, summer is second; I, an old man, live in Jiangxia, who is first, who is second?"
Upon hearing this, Wang Ping's expression became even more complicated. He gritted his teeth and recited the first line of the couplet his teacher had given him that morning.
"The three teachings of Confucianism come first, the three talents of man come last. I am a Confucian scholar, how dare I be first, how dare I be last?"
Wang Xiaohu was stunned for a moment before recovering. He gave Wang Ping a strange look and then recited the second line. After all, the first line, "The four rivers are first, summer is second; I, an old man, live in Jiangxia, who is first, who is second?"
was completely unsuitable for Wang Ping. It was clear that this couplet was not Wang Ping's own.
"Brother Youqian, please give us your couplet."
Wang Le said, his face pale.
"Hmm, Youqian's two couplets are 'Mist locks the mountain top, the mountain locks the mist, the water is cold,' and 'Sprinkle. A drop of water. Two drops of water. Three drops of water.'" Wang Xiaohu didn't stand on ceremony and directly recited the two couplets from yesterday.
"Wenle (Dingping) concedes defeat."
Upon hearing this, Wang Le and Wang Ping's faces turned pale, and they dejectedly admitted defeat.
"Brilliant! Excellent couplet!"
Wei Xian praised with a beaming smile, giving Zhang Xiaoyi a meaningful look. Li Gang, on the other hand, snorted.
The second round was a word guessing game.
"Brother Youqian, this round will be between the two of us, please."
Wang Le glanced at Wang Ping, who took a step back. Wang Le then bowed to Wang Xiaohu.
"Alright."
Wang Xiaohu nodded and said, "A person without integrity cannot stand. Guess a word." "
The word 'gao' in 'gaoshi' (notice)?"
Wang Le was taken aback. This word puzzle was too simple. Wang Le asked uncertainly.
"That's right."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu clapped his hands and said, "Brother Wenle is brilliant. Please give me the question."
"Flowers before willows."
Upon hearing this, Wang Le's face turned red. Because Wang Xiaohu's contemptuous behavior had insulted Wang Le's personality and dignity.
"If you have the money, you admit defeat."
Wang Xiaohu pondered for a while, and after about half a cup of tea's time, when everyone was covered in sweat, he conceded defeat. The Wang brothers, Le and Ping, breathed a sigh of relief.
The third round was poetry.
"Your Excellency, what is the meaning of the four characters 'Flowers before willows'?"
Wei Xian asked Zhang Xiaoyi with some doubt.
"Flowers before willows is the character 'festival,' the 'festival' of the Lantern Festival."
Upon hearing this, Zhang Xiaoyi smiled slightly when he saw Li Gang glancing over.
"Brilliant!"
Wei Xian clapped his hands in praise. "Your Excellency, what is the meaning of the second line of your cousin's two couplets?"
"Yes, yes!"
Several nearby officials quickly echoed.
"This—"
Zhang Xiaoyi hesitated for a moment before replying, "If I'm not mistaken, the two second lines should be 'The sky connects to the water's end, and the water connects to the sky' and 'Fragrant flowers. Hundred-character head. Thousand-character head. Ten-thousand-character head.'"
"Good, I see."
Wei Xian exclaimed in a high-pitched voice, "Your Excellency is truly talented, worthy of being the new third-ranked scholar."
"You flatter me, Eunuch Wei."
Zhang Xiaoyi quickly replied modestly, but a complex look of resentment flashed in his eyes. Originally, Zhang Xiaoyi should have been the top scholar, but due to the infighting and compromises among the major factions in the court, he was forced to become the third-ranked scholar. Everyone in the officialdom knew that Zhang Xiaoyi truly possessed the talent of a top scholar.
This time, Zhang Xiaoyi was granted the title of a third-ranking imperial inspector, which was a disguised form of compensation from the emperor, and also a test. If Zhang Xiaoyi could successfully overcome this hurdle, he would surely become a powerful figure when he returned to the capital!
"This time, I will compete with Brother Youqian."
Wang Le stepped back, and Wang Ping stepped forward to bow to Wang Xiaohu.
"Please,"
Wang Xiaohu replied respectfully.
"Brother Youqian, Dingping's poem this time is titled 'Tea': 'Fragrant leaves. Tender buds.
Poets love it.
Grind it into white jade and weave red silk.
Brew it to a yellow hue. Dust swirls in the bowl.
After nightfall, it invites the bright moon to keep company. Before dawn, it faces the morning glow.
It washes away the weariness of people past and present. When drunk, how can it be boasted about?'" Wang Ping's poem "Tea" stunned the entire audience, who cheered loudly.
"Excellent, truly excellent."
"Wang Dingping is indeed a talented man."
Old Master Wang nodded with satisfaction upon hearing the poem.
"Brother Dingping, you are truly talented. I'm afraid I'll make a fool of myself with this poem, 'Yue.' 'How magnificent is the mountain! The green peaks of Qi and Lu stretch endlessly
. Nature has bestowed upon it divine beauty. Day and night , light and
shadow. Clouds rise from the heart. Birds fly into the distance.
I will surely reach the summit and survey all the lesser mountains below.'"
Wang Xiaohu's poem caused a moment of astonishment, but after a moment's realization, the crowd erupted in applause. Several beautiful women, holding paper umbrellas, flirted with Wang Xiaohu , their faces flushed and radiant
with spring-like allure. What followed was quite unexpected: the winner of the poetry contest was announced as Wang Xiaohu, Wang Youqian. Wang Xiaohu had expected a tie. He looked up at the stage and immediately understood.
The brothers Wang Ping and Wang Le walked off the stage somewhat resentfully. Zhao Kangping, hiding in a corner, glanced at Wang Xiaohu on the stage with jealousy and hatred before turning and leaving.

Text [017] Talented Scholar and Beautiful Woman (Seven)
Half-drunk, Wang Xiaohu staggered to Madam Wang, kicked open the door, and went inside.
"Mother, are you asleep?"
Wang Xiaohu, his eyes still blurry with drunkenness, came to Madam Wang's window and said with a silly smile.
"Fang'er, quickly go to the kitchen and get a bowl of hangover soup."
Madam Wang, dressed in a red undergarment with her pink shoulders exposed, called out to Fang'er, who was rushing over from next door.
"Mother, I'm not drunk, uh!"
Wang Xiaohu hiccuped, grabbed Madam Wang's soft hand, and rubbed it while grinning mischievously. "Mother, they want to get me drunk? Not so easy. Uh, Mother, are you and Uncle hiding something from me? I think that Li Gang doesn't respect my older cousin at all. If it weren't for the old teacher stopping me, I would have smashed the bowls and overturned the table long ago. Uh!"
"Shut up."
Seeing Wang Xiaohu's incoherent ramblings, Madam Wang's eyes flashed with a sharp light as she sternly rebuked him.
"Mother, your breasts are much bigger and softer than Ling'er's. They feel so good to touch."
Sometime during the night, Wang Xiaohu's thieving hand had already quietly climbed onto Madam Wang's high, firm breasts, and he felt like he was floating on air.
"Slap!"
With a crisp sound, Madam Wang, realizing what was happening, slapped Wang Xiaohu hard across the face.
"You, you dare hit me!"
Fueled by the alcohol, Wang Xiaohu roared and pounced on Madam Wang, pinning her beneath him.
"Ah—"
Madam Wang cried out in surprise, but before she could finish speaking, Wang Xiaohu had already sealed her lips with his. Stunned, Madam Wang's body stiffened instantly, curling into a straight line. In a daze, Wang Xiaohu kissed her until
he passed out. Before losing consciousness, Wang Xiaohu's arms held Madam Wang tightly in his embrace, like iron clamps.
When he woke up the next morning, Wang Xiaohu found himself in his own room.
Frustrated, he touched his chest, a venomous glint in his eyes. The memory of being slapped away by Li Gang at the drinking party yesterday fueled his anger.
Actually, the incident wasn't Wang Xiaohu's fault at all. Yesterday's drinking party was ostensibly to celebrate Wang Xiaohu's victory in the poetry contest. That Li Gang was incredibly arrogant, constantly mocking Wang Xiaohu. Who was Wang Xiaohu? He wasn't from ancient times. Wang Xiaohu couldn't help but retort, "Such brute force is nothing to boast about!"
Li Gang then flew into a rage, slapping Wang Xiaohu away. If Wang Xiaohu hadn't possessed considerable internal strength, that blow would have caused him internal injuries. Naturally, yesterday's drinking party ended on a sour note.
Who was Wang Xiaohu? The veritable "princeling" of Heping County! If it were the Wang Xiaohu from before his time travel, Li Gang might not even know how he died in Heping County.
The waters of Heping County run deep!
Touching the golden key on his chest, Wang Xiaohu resolved to learn some real skills!
Upon returning to the secret chamber, Wang Xiaohu picked up the "Overlord's Manual" on the table and began to carefully peruse it. He was surprised to find that the final chapter of the manual contained a dual cultivation technique, which nearly made him ecstatic.
Determined, Wang Xiaohu memorized the "Overlord's Manual" perfectly and began to cultivate with focused concentration.
This cultivation lasted a full month, during which Wang Xiaohu's soul and body completely merged, and the trace of lightning power within him was also activated.
Poor Wang Xiaohu only activated his lightning power more than a month after arriving in this world, while the "Wang Xiaohu" who thrived in the modern officialdom activated his lightning power on his third day in the modern world. (Alright, enough chit-chat. There's a sister version of "Rebirth in the Officialdom" which will start updating on January 1, 2010. I'll be updating "Rebirth in the Officialdom" at least 300,000 words this month!)
Looking at the faint electric light in his hand, Wang Xiaohu's confidence surged.
Just as Wang Xiaohu emerged from the secret room, he was met with a haggard-looking Madam Wang.
"Mother, you—"
Before Wang Xiaohu could finish speaking, Madam Wang slapped him hard across the face.
"Xiaohu, you scared your mother to death, boo-hoo—"
After hitting Wang Xiaohu, Madam Wang hugged him tightly and burst into tears. At
Madam Wang's cry, Fang'er, who had been waiting outside, rushed in, followed by everyone from the entire Wang mansion. Even the Third Madam, Su Roumei, was beaming with joy, her beautiful eyes filled with tears.
Madam Wang chased everyone away, leaving only the icy-faced Chen Yingying behind.
"Xiao Hu, what have you been doing in the secret chamber for the past month?"
Wiping away her tears, Madam Wang calmed down and looked at Wang Xiao Hu with a serious expression, asking the question.
"A month?"
Wang Xiao Hu was startled and exclaimed, "I've been cultivating in the secret chamber for a month! How is that possible?"
"What?"
Madam Wang and Chen Yingying exclaimed simultaneously as soon as Wang Xiao Hu spoke.
"Xiao Hu, you...you've cultivated the 'Overlord Technique'! "
Chen Yingying, her face deathly pale, asked Wang Xiao Hu in a trembling voice.
"Yes."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu nodded and said, "In this past month, I've mastered the first three levels of the 'Overlord's Technique.' I should be considered a martial arts expert
now, right?" Upon hearing this, Chen Yingying's eyes rolled back, and she fainted.
"Second Mother! Second Mother, what's wrong?"
Wang Xiaohu cried out urgently, quickly catching Chen Yingying in his arms. Meanwhile, Madam Wang collapsed to the ground, utterly distraught.
"You, why did you cultivate the 'Overlord's Technique'? Why?"
Madam Wang asked Wang Xiaohu in a trembling voice, her face deathly pale.
"Mother, what's wrong with you? Could cultivating the 'Overlord's Technique' lead to demonic possession?"
Seeing the reactions of Chen Yingying and Madam Wang, Wang Xiaohu assumed the 'Overlord's Technique' was some kind of demonic art and was genuinely frightened.
"Little—Chen Ying greets Young Master."
Chen Yingying, oh no, Chen Ying, knelt on one knee before Wang Xiaohu with a blank expression.
"Second...Second Aunt, what's wrong? It's me, Xiaohu!"
Seeing Chen Ying break free from his embrace and kneel before him, Wang Xiaohu cried out, somewhat dizzy.
"So be it, so be it, this is fate."
Madam Wang pointed at Wang Xiaohu, opening her mouth as if to speak, then hesitated for a long while before saying bitterly, "Xiaohu, come to my room tonight."
With that, Wang Xiaohu turned and left without looking back, his eyes filled with disappointment and tears.
"Young Master, please come up the mountain with Chen Ying."
Chen Ying seemed to have figured something out, speaking to Wang Xiaohu expressionlessly.

"Second Aunt, call me Xiao Hu."
Wang Xiao Hu, adept at reading people, realized that a momentous event about to happen was about to occur. He forcefully lifted Chen Ying from the ground, almost gritting his teeth as he said, "I will always be Second Aunt's Xiao Hu, Second Aunt, my dear Second Aunt."
"Young Master—"
Chen Ying's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this, her face instantly turning red. As soon as Chen Ying opened her mouth, Wang Xiao Hu quickly kissed her cherry-like lips.
"Call me Xiao Hu,"
Wang Xiao Hu whispered, his breath warm against Chen Ying's ear.
"Young Master—Xiao Hu, please come with Second Aunt to the Jade Maiden Temple on the mountain, okay?"
Chen Ying seemed unable to bear Wang Xiao Hu's ambiguous actions, her face flushed as she whispered.
"Okay, okay, Second Aunt, let me take a bath and eat something first. I haven't had a hot meal in a month, my stomach is about to burst."
Wang Xiao Hu hugged Chen Ying, constantly pleading.
"Hmm."
Chen Ying nodded, gently pushed Wang Xiaohu away, and turned to leave. If Wang Xiaohu's guess was correct, Chen Ying should have gone up the mountain to report the news.
After Chen Ying left, Wang Xiaohu quickly took a bath, changed into clean clothes, left a letter in his room, and rode off from home on Chen Ying's Black Narcissus.
"Mother, Second Mother, I don't want to know about those things right now. Don't worry about me, I'm going to find my eldest cousin!"
Madam Wang and Chen Ying looked at each other after reading Wang Xiaohu's letter.
After inquiring in Heping County, they learned that their eldest cousin, Zhang Xiaoyi, had already gone to Hezhou.
To escape trouble, Wang Xiaohu went to Hezhou overnight.
As for why Wang Xiaohu chose to run away, it was because he had read many melodramatic transmigration novels online in his previous life. If Wang Xiaohu didn't run away, the next thing he would do would be to inherit his cheap father Wang Hu's "family business" and continue to rebel and become emperor! Wang Hu left Wang Xiaohu a lot of things. If Wang Xiaohu made good use of those things, he might actually have a chance to successfully rebel and become emperor.
However, Wang Xiaohu had a much broader perspective than Wang Hu. For example, attacking the Western continent overseas would be easier than rebelling against the Song Dynasty.
Wang Xiaohu was unaware that his trip to Hezhou had stirred up a hornet's nest.
"Young Master Wang?"
Suddenly, a surprised voice reached Wang Xiaohu's ears.
"Brother, who are you? Do I know you?"
Wang Xiaohu looked at the pale-faced man and said dejectedly.
"I am Ma Ru, Ma Wenyuan from Hekai County, and I have met Young Master Wang before."
Ma Ru, his expression unchanged, said, "A month ago, during the poetry competition, Wenyuan caught a glimpse of Young Master Wang."
"Oh, so it's Brother Ma."
Wang Xiaohu got off the Black Narcissus Pavilion, cupped his hands in return, and said, "Don't call me Young Master Wang, just call me Qian, or Brother Wang."
"In that case, Wenyuan won't stand on ceremony."
Ma Ru smiled casually.
"That's as it should be."
Wang Xiaohu nodded.
"Brother Wang, judging from your hurried appearance, where are you going?"
Ma Ru asked with a faint smile.
"I'm going to Hezhou to find my older cousin,"
Wang Xiaohu said generously upon hearing this.
"Could it be the Imperial Envoy?"
Ma Ru asked, surprised.
"Of course,"
Wang Xiaohu said proudly.
"It's almost noon. If Brother Wang doesn't mind, Wen Yuan would like to treat you to a welcome dinner at Hongxiang Restaurant,"
Ma Ru said, almost fawningly, as he had already made up his mind.
"Alright,"
Wang Xiaohu nodded, "I didn't realize I was a little hungry until Brother Ma mentioned it." "
In that case, Brother Wang, please come this way,"
Ma Ru said with a warm smile.
After arriving at a private room on the third floor of Hongxiang Restaurant, and after several rounds of drinks and dishes, Ma Ru poured Wang Xiaohu a full glass of wine.
"Brother Wang, is this your first time in Hekai County?"
Ma Ru said, pouring him a full glass of wine.
"Yes, my first time,"
Wang Xiaohu replied, downing the wine in one gulp.
"I see."
Ma Ru's eyes lit up. "Brother Wang, you might not know that the Zhao family troupe from Jingzhou is currently performing in Kai County these days. They have people jumping through knife rings, swallowing fire, and monkey shows. It's very entertaining. You should go early to secure a good spot, or you might miss it. It would be a real shame if you missed it since you're in such a hurry."
"Really?"
Wang Xiaohu was overjoyed. "In that case, I'll rest here for a couple of days before continuing my journey."
Wang Xiaohu hadn't been in this world for long and had never seen ancient martial arts shows or similar activities. Hearing that there was something new to see, he immediately forgot about his older cousin, Zhang Xiaoyi.
After the meal, Wang Xiaohu, led by Ma Ru, arrived at the Zhao Family Grand Hall. The thirty-acre grounds were cordoned off with black cloth curtains; ordinary people had to pay several copper coins to enter. At the western end of the hall was a high platform reserved for government officials, dignitaries, and wealthy merchants. When Wang Xiaohu followed Ma Ru into the hall, the commoners' section was already packed. Led by Ma Ru, Wang Xiaohu ascended the platform and sat in the seventh seat on the left.
Nearby sat several elegantly dressed local gentry. Upon seeing him, and after Ma Ru's introduction that Wang Xiaohu was the cousin of the Imperial Inspector, they all nodded in greeting, which Wang Xiaohu returned repeatedly.
After exchanging pleasantries, Wang Xiaohu sat down. Looking around, his gaze was immediately drawn to the people seated on the right. Due to the separation of men and women, the wives of officials and ladies of high society were seated on the right. Dressed in elegant clothes and adorned with powdered and green makeup, each one was exquisitely made up. Wang Xiaohu had never seen so many beautifully dressed young women and wives of ancient times in his life.
Among the young women and ladies seated on the right were many young girls in the throes of first love. Seeing such a handsome, elegant, and refined young man, they all cast admiring glances their way, some with tender affection, others with fiery stares, as if they wanted to devour Wang Xiaohu whole. Those with tender affection were mostly unmarried girls, while the fiery stares resembled those of a wealthy merchant's favored concubines.
Several women who recognized Wang Xiaohu whispered among themselves, "This is none other than Wang Youqian, the talented young master from Heping County! Who would have thought he'd come to our Hekai County? I wonder which family's daughter is so lucky to have such a handsome young man!
It seems that after Wang Xiaohu comes out to watch this spectacle, half the young ladies of Hekai County will be lovesick, hehe."
Not long after Wang Xiaohu sat down, suddenly the drums and gongs roared. While the young ladies and concubines were still staring intently, the show began, and Wang Xiaohu's attention was immediately drawn to the activity. First, a burly man wielded a fork, moving with impressive skill and grace. Next, a scholar performed a sword dance, flowing gracefully like falling flowers and water, a truly beautiful sight. Following that was a circus performance with monkeys and dogs, where humans and animals teased each other. Wang Xiaohu had never seen such an entertaining spectacle before. The audience was delighted by the performance and applauded frequently. During the performance, a troupe leader with a pockmarked face came up to the stage with a script, approached Wang Xiaohu, and bowed with a smile, saying he wanted to ask Wang Xiaohu to choose a performance. Wang Xiaohu was confused and turned to ask Ma Ru, who was sitting next to him, "Brother Ma, why are you showing me this script?"
Ma Ru smiled and said, "This troupe leader is asking you to choose a variety show you like. You can choose any one and have them perform it. If they perform skillfully, you can reward them with more silver."
Hearing this, Wang Xiaohu saw the fleeting smile on Ma Ru's lips and immediately knew it was Ma Ru's trick. Wang Xiaohu bowed to Ma Ru, then looked at the title on the script and chose "Fireball." The troupe leader had chosen a special skill, and his performance fee was secured. He respectfully thanked him and withdrew.
The female guests on the right were clearly connoisseurs, eagerly requesting numerous performances. Some requested drills involving piercing hoops, others the art of archery, and still others the high-wire act. Each performance delighted Wang Xiaohu, who repeatedly muttered, "Seeing is believing." Suddenly, drums and gongs resounded, shaking the entire audience. Everyone held their breath, watching the performance intently. A black plaque hung high above, its white lettering reading, "Young Master Wang requests 'Fireball,' performed by Zhao Yuxian."
The crowd immediately began to murmur. Some praised Wang Xiaohu's keen eye and excellent appreciation for opera. Others remarked that
although Zhao Yuxian had visited Hezhou three times, they had only heard of her but never seen her perform. Still others mentioned that during her previous performance in the capital, a high-ranking official had commissioned Zhao Yuxian to perform "Sword Fighting," which had caused a sensation throughout the city.
Amidst the murmurs, a beautiful young woman appeared, draped in a black silk cloak trimmed with white, her hair adorned with a black silk headband, her bound feet barely four inches wide, wearing small leather boots with golden hooks, her feet firmly planted in golden stirrups, her right hand holding the reins, her left hand carrying a slingshot, as she rode a snow-white steed slowly out.

[019] Talented Scholar and Beautiful Woman (Nine)
At this moment, thunderous cheers erupted throughout the audience. Although it was impossible to see her face clearly due to the distance of nearly a hundred feet from the West Terrace, her elegant figure and graceful bearing, resembling a stunningly beautiful celestial being, captivated Wang Xiaohu.
As the beautiful woman and her steed drew closer, Wang Xiaohu scrutinized her closely and discovered that the woman was truly stunningly beautiful, with delicate eyebrows and a rosy complexion. She was the epitome of a heroine described as "a face as beautiful as a lotus blossom, not adorned with pearls but with a precious sword," seemingly a perfect depiction of Zhao Yuxian. Wang Xiaohu was immediately awestruck, thinking that even a celestial maiden descended from the heavens could not compare.
The horse slowly circled the arena along the side path, clearly intending to let everyone see the unparalleled beauty of the woman on horseback. Then, the beauty slowly removed her cloak, casually tossing it to her assistant. She then held her bow to her arm, swiftly pulled on the reins with one hand, and her steed, as if understanding her intention, pricked up its ears and let out a long neigh. It first reared up, then shot off like an arrow, leaving a trail of white kerchiefs fluttering and red silk ribbons billowing. The rider and horse were as one, their riding skills superb, their figures graceful.
At this moment, a young boy appeared carrying a wooden tray and stood upright in front of the west platform. The tray covered a porcelain bowl, and at the bottom of the bowl was a bullet the size of an egg. Then, a martial arts master stepped forward and loudly announced: "One bullet is placed at the bottom of the bowl, and the other is in Yu Xian's hand. The horse will first gallop to the east side of the training ground. When it is in a straight line with the boy, Yu Xian will draw her bow and release the bullet. When the two bullets collide, there will be a great burst of flames. The aim must be perfect, and the porcelain bowl holding the bullet must not be damaged. This is the most difficult move, and it is not an ordinary performance. It is presented to the distinguished guests on the platform for their enjoyment!"
After the introduction, the martial arts master bowed and withdrew. The beautiful woman rode her horse around the training ground three times and then reached the far east side of the training ground. She reached into her pouch and took out a pyrotechnic bullet, the same size as the bullet at the bottom of the bowl on the west side of the training ground. Suddenly, she twisted her slender waist, and as the bowstring twanged, a golden light came from the west. With a bang, smoke and gunpowder flew everywhere, and both bullets were destroyed in the blazing flames.
Instantly, cheers erupted, applause resounded, and everyone shouted "Bravo!" The clamor was like a thunderous storm. At this moment, the boy placed another pyrotechnic bomb at the bottom of the bowl. The beauty rode her horse around three more times before firing another bomb. She fired three bombs in total, all of which accurately hit the target. The audience was completely mesmerized and marveled at the spectacle.
Wang Xiaohu was overjoyed at this amazing skill and said to Ma Ru, "Brother Ma, this is truly spectacular! I always thought that descriptions of martial arts skills in books were exaggerated, but I never imagined that they were real. This celestial woman is truly extraordinary! It's such a pity that someone with such beauty is living such a life of hardship!" Before
Ma Ru could reply, the beautiful woman, draped in a cloak, arrived with the troupe leader. Her graceful figure, swaying like a willow in the wind, led the way to the front of the stage. She gave a deep bow, and when she saw Zhao Yuxian coming to greet her, Wang Xiaohu quickly rose and returned the greeting. Then he stared blankly at the beauty before him. Her cheeks were slightly flushed, her eyes were bright and sparkling, and she looked directly at Wang Xiaohu. Her cherry lips were slightly parted, as if she wanted to say something, but she hesitated. Wang Xiaohu's eyes, like a magnet, were drawn to Zhao Yuxian's beautiful face.
Previously, seeing her riding a fine horse, her graceful figure was already breathtaking. Now, seeing her up close, he realized her delicate features; even without makeup, her skin was naturally beautiful. He had thought that among the many beauties in the Western Chamber, they all paled in comparison to Zhao Yuxian.
Ma Ru saw Wang Xiaohu standing there dumbfounded and assumed he was at a loss because of his lack of worldly wisdom. So, he leaned close to Wang Xiaohu's ear and whispered, "She's here to receive her reward. Brother Wang, you may give her whatever you wish."
As he spoke, Ma Ru secretly slipped a few silver notes into Wang Xiaohu's hand from under his clothes.
"Only one hundred taels."
Wang Xiaohu glanced at the silver notes Ma Ru had given him and curled his lip in disdain. He then pulled out a thick wad of silver notes from his pocket and stuffed them into Zhao Yuxian's arms without even looking at them, while secretly squeezing her small hand twice.
Zhao Yuxian blushed instantly, while the head of the troupe behind her, seeing the thick stack of silver notes, beamed with ecstatic joy. This half-hour performance was a lavish affair for Wang Xiaohu, a truly extravagant expenditure. If he could also win her favor, even a fortune would be worthwhile.
That night, in his guest room at the Ma residence, Wang Xiaohu lay on his pillow, his mind filled with reverie, recalling the many interesting events of the day. His mind first conjured images of several young women in red and green scarves on the right side of the platform, then of that charming and graceful beauty. With a flick of her sword, all the previous images vanished, leaving only her clear voice and captivating smile. He tossed and turned in bed, unable to fall asleep. Wang Xiaohu then got up, trimmed the candle, and sat at the table, his mind still lingering on the beautiful woman's delicate figure. Unfortunately, he was not skilled in painting and could not capture her beauty on paper.
Wang Xiaohu could only write to remember her.
Then, in a hazy state, Wang Xiaohu saw a graceful figure appear in the room. It was a person with a black veil covering their face, only their eyes, as cold as stars, visible. The figure approached the table and saw the name "Zhao Yuxian" written on a sheet of paper, the ink still wet. The figure trembled slightly, hesitated for a moment, then, as if making a decision, turned to Wang Xiaohu, who was half-lying on the bed. Wang
Xiaohu then felt his hands and feet being bound like a piglet. His entire body was then stuffed into a sack and carried away from his room. He tried to open his eyes, but his eyelids felt heavy. He wanted to call for help, but his mouth was stiff, as if something was stuck in his throat, and he couldn't make a sound. He only felt the wind whistling in his ears, as if he were riding the clouds and traveling at great speed.
Experience in the ways of the world, experience in the ways of the world! Wang Xiaohu still lacked experience in the ways of the world; one must always be wary of others.
When Wang Xiaohu regained consciousness, he found himself in a dark room. The room was small, containing only a bed, a table, and a few wooden stools; nothing else. There were no curtains on the bed, only a pillow and a quilt. A lamp on the table burned dimly, and the walls were mottled, making the scene feel utterly desolate to him, a man of wealthy birth.
A man in black sat silently on the edge of the bed, facing outwards, a sharp blade hanging at his waist, its cold gleam terrifying. As clever as Wang Xiaohu was, he knew he had been kidnapped by bandits. A wave of panic and fear washed over him. He dared not utter a sound, cowering under the covers, staring at the man's back, trembling so violently that even the bed creaked.
The man in black turned and looked at him. Wang Xiaohu realized that this man was none other than Zhao Yuxian, the beauty he had been dreaming of and secretly longing for. Wang Xiaohu's fear turned to astonishment. He wanted to sit up and ask her what had happened, but Zhao Yuxian placed her hand on his shoulder and gently waved her wrist, signaling him not to move.
Looking at Zhao Yuxian's cold and beautiful face, Wang Xiaohu stammered, "What is your purpose in abducting me, young lady? Can you tell me?"
Zhao Yuxian coldly replied, "To kill you!"
Ha! Was there any need to ask if she wanted to kill him? If she wanted to kill him, she would have already severed his head. Actually, she wasn't wrong. This girl had indeed been ordered to come to the Ma residence to take Wang Xiaohu's head. However, seeing Wang Xiaohu's handsome and elegant appearance during the day, and feeling an inexplicable connection between their eyes, she secretly harbored some fantasies.
Hehe! When she broke into the Ma residence and abducted him, she saw the paper Wang Xiaohu had placed on the table, filled with her name. This made her heart flutter like a jumbled spice jar in a kitchen, a mixture of sour, sweet, bitter, spicy, and salty flavors! However, after a struggle between duty and emotion, she still brought Wang Xiaohu back to the sect.
Hehehe! And there's more! Before, all the people we kidnapped were tied up like piglets waiting to be slaughtered, left outside to starve. They never received such good treatment, sleeping peacefully in a room, even covered with blankets.
Hehehehe! It's not over yet, it's not over yet! Wang Xiaohu was so nervous that he didn't realize that his face was still covered in fragrant saliva... It wasn't that Miss Zhao Yuxian disliked Wang Xiaohu's behavior and spat all over his face, but rather that after Zhao Yuxian kidnapped him and put him on the bed, seeing his peaceful and handsome sleeping face, she couldn't help but kiss his face for a long time.
Upon hearing the beautiful woman's chilling tone as she threatened to kill him, and seeing the gleaming blade hanging from her waist, Wang Xiaohu was terrified. He secretly channeled a wisp of lightning into his hand and feigned misery, saying, "After much thought, I realize I have no past grievances or recent feuds with you, young lady. Today, you suddenly kidnapped me and intend to kill me. If I die, I won't even know why I died. It's truly heartbreaking."
Wang Xiaohu had hoped to evoke Zhao Yuxian's sympathy with his tragic story so she would tell him the whole story. However, Zhao Yuxian remained silent, her starry eyes fixed on Wang Xiaohu, seemingly lost in thought.
Seeing the beautiful Zhao Yuxian's lovely face so close before him, Wang Xiaohu quickly said, "If you intend to kill me, young lady, even if I die at your hands, I will die in peace, without regrets!"
Heh heh, women in ancient times are still quite easy to fool. Although Wang Xiaohu's words were only half true, Zhao Yuxian was completely swayed by them. And this kind of talk was especially effective in ancient times when it was most needed.
Hearing his strange words, Zhao Yuxian was quite surprised. She had kidnapped several wealthy young men in the past, and they always begged for their lives at the last minute. She had never seen anyone like Wang Xiaohu, so she pressed him to tell her why he said such things.
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu inwardly exclaimed, "This is promising!"
Then, his face suddenly flushed, and he feigned shyness, pretending not to look directly at Zhao Yuxian. He said in a low voice, "I fell in love with you at first sight, young lady. Your beautiful face and graceful figure are deeply imprinted in my heart. Every feature of yours is lovely, every part of you makes me lose my mind. My love for you comes from the bottom of my heart. Now that you wish to kill me, your sword is something you always carry with you. Using it to kill me is like indirectly allowing me to kiss your beauty. This is a worthy death, what regret could I have?"
Wang Xiaohu's confession immediately had a tremendous effect.
After hearing Wang Xiaohu's words, Zhao Yuxian's icy expression melted away, and she smiled radiantly like a spring flower blooming. Suddenly, she reached out and tightly grasped Wang Xiaohu's wrist, nestling into his arms. Her face flushed slightly, she lowered her head shyly, pressing herself against Wang Xiaohu's chest. Clearly, Wang Xiaohu's words had unlocked the beauty's heart, truly touching her soul. The love between江湖儿女 (people of the martial arts
world) was expressed directly, unlike the coy hesitation of ordinary women; she naturally pressed herself against him. When she suddenly leaped into his arms, Wang Xiaohu was initially startled, but his joy quickly turned to delight. The delicate fragrance of her hair filled him with elation, and he was so captivated by her tenderness that he no longer cared about his own perilous situation.

Text [020] Talented Scholar and Beautiful Woman (10)
Zhao Yuxian nestled in Wang Xiaohu's arms and said softly, "Young master is the cousin of the Imperial Inspector, while I am a street performer. Compared to him, we are not of equal social standing. Even if you love me, it is impossible for us to marry and there is no hope of us growing old together."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu hurriedly defended himself, "Love between a man and a woman is based on sincerity and cannot be influenced by social status. As the saying goes, sincerity can move mountains. I regard you as a celestial being and dare not harbor any extravagant hopes for you. If you are willing to take my heart, it would be my greatest fortune. I would be overjoyed and cherish you for life."
Perhaps some people will ask, since Zhao Yuxian has already thrown herself into his arms, why does this fool Wang Xiaohu say so much? Why ask if she loves him? Why not just take her first and show her with actions? Wouldn't that be better?
Hehe, don't forget that when Zhao Yuxian nestled into Wang Xiaohu's arms, she had a sword hanging at her waist. Although she had a good impression of Wang Xiaohu, she still had many doubts about his feelings. If she said anything unpleasant or did anything excessive, Zhao Yuxian could swing that sword, and who knows which part of her body would be separated. Therefore, she needed to make things clear and say "I love you" a few more times before she could do anything else... You ask what she needed to do? That's a rhetorical question! It's to "do" the "love" she had said a few more times. Do you understand what she meant?
Zhao Yuxian nestled her head against Wang Xiaohu's chest, faintly hearing his heart pounding. Her own heart seemed to echo his, leaping uncontrollably. Seeing Zhao Yuxian's unmoved state, Wang Xiaohu assumed she was embarrassed. He then embraced her fair neck, stroked her hair, and whispered, "Why didn't you answer my question earlier?"
Zhao Yuxian wasn't in a hurry to answer. She pressed her head against Wang Xiaohu's chest, testing whether his words of love were genuine. Fortunately, Wang Xiaohu's words resonated with his heartbeat; they were indeed from the heart. However, Zhao Yuxian was still uneasy. She lowered her head and said in a soft yet sharp voice, " People who are truly consistent are few and far between, especially wealthy playboys who make promises lightly but break them in the end. When they need something from others, they swear oaths to the heavens, but once time has passed, they forget the old and seek the new, ruining people's lives. The deceived are filled with regret, while the deceivers enjoy new wives, indulging in novelty and living a carefree life, completely forgetting the vows of eternal love they made. My sister, Yu Mei, is the abandoned wife of Wu Ergui, the young master of Taiyuan! Back then, didn't Wu Ergui also swear to be with her forever? Ah
! So Zhao Yuxian had these concerns. If it were a philandering young master, he would probably have a hard time passing Zhao Yuxian's lie detection technique when answering this question. But he happened to encounter Wang Xiaohu, a time traveler. Therefore, the following words became the secret to passing the test.
Hearing Zhao Yuxian's words, Wang Xiaohu sneered and said, "What you say isn't entirely wrong, but while there are many fickle young men in the world, we can't generalize and dismiss the sincerity of a devoted and faithful man. I'm sixteen this year, and my parents haven't arranged a marriage for me yet. However, I've heard many people want to act as matchmakers for me, but I've always looked down on ordinary women. Now, I've fallen for you at first sight. I know that if you were to marry me, there would be great obstacles. First, my mother would surely object because we're not a good match. But I can swear to you now that my heart is as firm as iron and will not be swayed by any pressure. I'm not good at expressing my feelings; no woman has ever made me feel such love, allowing me to express my feelings so passionately. If it weren't for someone of your character, I would never have so readily revealed my love."
Come on, everyone, comment! Look how moving these sincere words are! ...Huh? Someone might ask now, isn't the young master's statement an exaggeration? He portrays himself as quite innocent, but if we compare it to his imaginary thoughts of the pretty maid in his household and the refined young lady he met the other day, it seems somewhat inconsistent...
Hehehe, that's where the key point comes in. This "imaginary" means only thinking about it, without any real intention to do anything. Therefore, Wang Xiaohu now feels that since his heart belongs to only Zhao Yuxian, he would never utter such words representing his true feelings to another woman. Thus, he spoke these words without blushing or panting, with a confident and righteous tone, and even the rhythmic pounding of his heart naturally made Zhao Yuxian realize that they came from the bottom of her heart.
After hearing his words, Zhao Yuxian remained silent for a long time, pondering deeply. She had seen Wang Xiaohu during the day and, despite having seen countless scholars and people, had never encountered such a handsome young man with such an innocent expression. She truly felt a liking for him. When they exchanged glances after the performance and received their rewards, it seemed as if they understood each other perfectly.
Later, Zhao Yuxian was ordered to capture Wang Xiaohu and bring him back to the White Lotus Sect. She had to go to the Ma residence to carry out the mission. However, upon entering his room and seeing the note on the table filled with her own name, she was deeply moved. It seemed that they were truly in love. Therefore, when she brought him back, she couldn't resist taking advantage of Wang Xiaohu's unconscious state to probe his background… Now that everything was clear, and her ability to read minds confirmed Wang Xiaohu's sincerity towards her, what else was there to say?
So Zhao Yuxian slowly raised her head and asked Wang Xiaohu seriously, "Do you truly love me?"
Wang Xiaohu replied resolutely, "Can love be faked? And now, could I possibly use tricks on you? Please put yourself in my shoes!"
As Wang Xiaohu spoke, Zhao Yuxian, though her starry eyes were fixed on Wang Xiaohu's handsome face, seemed distracted, lost in thought. After a while, she suddenly gripped the hilt of her sword, gritted her teeth, and said to Wang Xiaohu, "I no longer care whether you truly love me or not. I have decided to marry you, and I swear to overcome all obstacles to achieve this goal! As long as you don't betray me, I will protect you without complaint, even if it means going through fire and water, or drinking from blades. From what you've said, you seem worried that your parents will interfere with our marriage. Don't you know that my parents..." "You may marry anyone you like, except for you, sir!"
Hearing this, Wang Xiaohu assumed Zhao Yuxian's elders were kidnappers for ransom and could be appeased with money. So, he confidently said, "As for your elders' obstruction, I think a generous dowry will change their attitude towards me." Zhao Yuxian
coldly replied, "Hmph! Even mountains of gold and silver are of no interest to them. Let me tell you honestly, sir, what they truly desire is your head!"
Wang Xiaohu was shocked and frightened. He hurriedly asked how this could be. Zhao Yuxian said, "It's not appropriate to tell you now, sir. However, you can rest assured, as long as I'm here, your life is safe."
From this, it's clear that Zhao Yuxian is a woman of the martial world, capable of both love and hate. She saw through Wang Xiaohu's "true feelings" and was determined to marry him, even addressing him as "sir." Moreover, she was clearly skilled and daring enough to guarantee Wang Xiaohu's safety.
However, Wang Xiaohu was so frightened by her words that he was at a loss for words, his face showing a look of fear. Zhao Yuxian felt sorry for him and gently comforted him, saying, "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. Didn't I say that I can protect you, my lord?...Are you hungry?"
Seeing Zhao Yuxian's gentle side, Wang Xiaohu finally felt relieved and said, "I ate a very full dinner, so I don't need to eat anything now."
Hehe, that's a good saying. What's the saying again, "After being well-fed and warm, one thinks of what else?"...Hehe, you're clever. We won't say it outright, but since Wang Xiaohu was well-fed and warm, he naturally thought of other things.
So Wang Xiaohu took off his clothes and huddled under the quilt, deliberately pretending to be cold. He grabbed Zhao Yuxian's hand and said, "I feel uneasy sleeping alone with you sitting beside me. It's better if we sleep together to keep each other warm."
Zhao Yuxian didn't answer and was pulled over by Wang Xiaohu.
Wang Xiaohu was very wary of the knife she carried, so he said, "You can put the blade aside for now."
Zhao Yuxian didn't agree or disagree, and casually took the knife down and hung it on the wall.

Text [021] The White Lotus Saintess (Part 1)
The two were lying in bed when Wang Xiaohu said, "Your outer cloak is covered in frost and dew, and it's freezing cold. Take it off quickly."
Zhao Yuxian thought it made sense, so she got up and took off her black cloak with white trim, still remaining silent.
When Wang Xiaohu saw that she was still wearing the battle armor he had seen before, he said, "In the middle of summer, this battle armor is wrapped up so tightly that it looks like a rice dumpling for the
Dragon Boat Festival. How can you sleep well? Take it off quickly so you can sleep!" When Zhao Yuxian saw Wang Xiaohu's concerned look, she glanced at him and seemed reluctant to go against his wishes. So she silently took off her battle armor, revealing a tight-fitting peach-colored jacket underneath. Wang Xiaohu reached out from under the covers, eager to pull her into the bed, but Zhao Yuxian neither refused nor agreed.
Although Wang Xiaohu used all his strength, like a dragonfly trying to move an iron pillar, he couldn't pull her in. After pulling for a long time, he was exhausted and urged her breathlessly, "You've already taken off your outer clothes, you'd better get into bed quickly, otherwise you might catch a cold from the cold!"
"Hehe, that girl practices martial arts regularly and is in excellent health. She's unlikely to catch a cold. I'm just afraid that you, Wang Xiaohu, won't be able to satisfy her, and you'll go crazy from lovesickness." These considerate words left Zhao Yuxian speechless. Her face flushed, and she silently relaxed, obediently lying down on the bed.
Wang Xiaohu quickly covered her with the blanket. Zhao Yuxian pressed her body against Wang Xiaohu's, lying shyly on her side facing outwards. Wang Xiaohu couldn't see Zhao Yuxian's expression and didn't dare to make any rash moves. So he gently patted her shoulder and whispered, "Sister Yuxian, why are you sleeping with your back to me? Do you dislike me?"
Hehe, look how tactful Wang Xiaohu is! Since they're already lying together, calling her "sister" is naturally more intimate. He clearly knows the girl likes him but is too shy to get close, so he deliberately says the opposite of what he means. As expected, upon hearing his words, Zhao Yuxian, not wanting her lover to misunderstand, slowly turned her body to face Wang Xiaohu, closing her eyes and pretending to be fast asleep.
Wang Xiaohu felt a faint fragrance of orchids and musk wafting from opposite him. Now he could truly admire Zhao Yuxian's charming face. She was indeed beautiful and alluring, but because she was unaccustomed to sleeping with a man, her brows were slightly furrowed, revealing a touch of heroic spirit within her captivating beauty—a graceful
yet strong figure. Faced with such a striking beauty, Wang Xiaohu felt both love and fear, like a thorny rose: beautiful in color, fragrance, and taste, but with sharp thorns on its stem; to pluck the flower required extreme caution, lest one injure oneself.
Wang Xiaohu and Zhao Yuxian lay side by side for a long time. While gazing upon the beauty's lovely face, he yearned for the next move. However, unfamiliar with his opponent's temperament, he dared not risk venturing deep into enemy territory. After a moment of hesitation, he suddenly realized: if this beauty had no interest in him, why should he be so gentle and
submissive when persuading her to undress and go to bed, doing everything according to his wishes? Sharing a bed, so close to the final hurdle, yet with the city gates wide open, Wang Xiaohu still didn't know to march in, still lingering outside the city walls—truly foolish and utterly stupid!
Thinking of this, his lust grew stronger, and he slowly reached out to try to touch Zhao Yuxian's breasts, while whispering, "The jacket you're wearing, sister, is made of soft, fragrant, and warm material, and it feels so smooth to the touch. It's made of silk, but unfortunately it's too thin to keep warm. I wonder if there's a lining inside?"
Zhao Yuxian continued to pretend to be asleep, and seeing this, Wang Xiaohu became even bolder. His right hand found the bottom of the jacket, pretending to check the lining, but actually hoping there wasn't one. He reached in and groped upwards, penetrating a layer deeper, and sure enough, his hand touched Zhao Yuxian's fair skin. The touch was delicate and tender, even smoother than silk. His hand went higher and higher until he encountered two peaks facing each other. These peaks weren't large, but they were high and firm, with a smooth surface that was quite elastic. At this moment, Wang Xiaohu's heart was pounding so hard it felt like it was about to jump out of his chest.
So Wang Xiaohu's hands, like a mountaineer, traversed between the two peaks. Upon reaching the summit, the sensation changed; first, it was soft as cotton. When his fingertips deliberately touched it, the summit swelled up. The longer Wang Xiaohu caressed it, the shorter Zhao Yuxian's breathing became, and she slightly opened her starry eyes, feigning reproach. Wang Xiaohu pretended not to see, closing his eyes in a state of blissful ecstasy, his caresses growing more urgent and increasingly amusing. After a while
, seemingly fearing his right hand would be too lonely, his left hand quickly joined in, each occupying a high point, kneading and rubbing with unrestrained pleasure. Zhao Yuxian's heart pounded wildly, almost leaping out of her chest. She felt a tingling, weak sensation all over her body after Wang Xiaohu's ministrations. Her cherry lips parted slightly, and she whispered, "What are you doing? This constant touching and fiddling is so annoying!"
Wang Xiaohu smiled and said, "This is nothing. You're already getting impatient? There's something even more annoying yet!"
As soon as he finished speaking, his hands slowly moved downwards, stopping halfway before he suddenly grasped the strap of her underpants, preparing to untie them.
Zhao Yuxian was startled and quickly lowered her hands, preparing her defenses. Her face flushed crimson; her delicate beauty surpassed even that of peach blossoms after a spring rain.
Wang Xiaohu tried to push away Zhao Yuxian's hands, but to no avail. He said anxiously, "My dear sister, haven't you already agreed to marry me? Since you're going to marry me and become my wife, you should know that of the three obediences of a woman, obedience to her husband is the most important; when the husband speaks, the wife should follow. Furthermore, what the husband does is a lesson that every couple must learn. My dear sister shouldn't deliberately hinder us."
Zhao Yuxian remained shy and replied softly, "What night is this? Is it a suitable time to learn the lesson of husband and wife?"
Her words implied that the time wasn't right.
Wang Xiaohu laughed and said, "My dear sister is right. Tonight is not an auspicious night, but since we are about to become husband and wife, we don't need to be so concerned about the time for our lessons. We will have to study sooner or later anyway! It's a pity that I'm so impatient. If my dear sister keeps making excuses, I'm afraid the fish will get rotten and the cat will get thin. Neither of us will benefit. Besides, the fish is already right in front of the greedy cat's mouth. How can we resist eating it? That's not reasonable!"
Zhao Yuxian didn't know how to answer this nonsense. She could only lower her head and laugh silently. But this laugh revealed her weakness.
Zhao Yuxian was able to maintain her last line of defense against Wang Xiaohu's attacks mainly because of her superb internal energy cultivation. With a single breath, Wang Xiaohu, with his usual strength, couldn't touch her. But now, hearing Wang Xiaohu's teasing, she couldn't help but giggle. This giggle broke her energy, which in turn dissipated her strength. With her strength gone, her grip loosened, and her last line of defense collapsed like a breached dam. She was caught in a crossfire, and finally, her belt came undone, her underpants falling into Wang Xiaohu's hands, who casually stuffed them under the bed.
Wang Xiaohu was now at his wits' end, his hands moving freely over her. Zhao Yuxian was both shy and flustered. Although she had her hands to defend herself, she was attacked from all sides. In her haste, she didn't know where to protect herself. So she curled up, buried her head in the blankets, and didn't dare look at Wang Xiaohu. She was no longer the dashing, proud figure she had been during the day, riding alone and displaying her divine bow.
While Wang Xiaohu roamed over her body, he comforted and coaxed her repeatedly until Zhao Yuxian was completely naked. Since her underpants were gone, why bother keeping her underpants? So he finally stripped Zhao Yuxian completely naked.
Then Wang Xiaohu began to implement a strategy of defeating her one by one. When Zhao Yuxian tried to break free from her shoulders, Wang Xiaohu pressed her down with his chin. When she tried to put her arms under her, Wang Xiaohu bound them with his hands. Then he pressed her delicate legs and soft abdomen against each other in turn.

Just then, the upper part of the secret room shook violently, and shouts of killing were heard incessantly.
"Oh no! Someone's broken in!"
Zhao Yuxian's face changed, and she exclaimed in alarm. She quickly got up, dressed, and, sword in hand, said to Wang Xiaohu, "Wait here, I'll go out and see."
"I'll go with you,"
Wang Xiaohu said softly, his expression softening as he gazed at Zhao Yuxian with deep affection.
"No,"
Zhao Yuxian shook her head. "Judging from the voices, it's possible my cousin brought the men who attacked Di Poqiang."
"My cousin?"
Wang Xiaohu asked, his eyes full of confusion. "What's going on? How is this related to my cousin?"
"Hmph, do you think your cousin became a third-rank inspector by some easy means?"
Zhao Yuxian sneered, pressed Wang Xiaohu's pressure points, opened the stone door, and quickly left.
Not long after Zhao Yuxian left, she rushed back covered in blood.
"My lord, come with me! The attackers aren't soldiers, they're cold-blooded killers!"
Pale-faced Zhao Yuxian slapped her hand on the stone table, a trickle of bright red blood spilling from the corner of her mouth. She pulled the frightened Wang Xiaohu into a chilling, dark passageway.
"Hiss!"
Upon entering the passage, Wang Xiaohu shivered involuntarily, gasping, "It's so cold! Where is this?"
"This is an ice cellar,"
Zhao Yuxian said, spitting out a mouthful of blood.
"Sister Xian'er, how are you?"
Wang Xiaohu's expression changed upon seeing this. After a moment's hesitation, he couldn't help but channel his inner energy into Zhao Yuxian's body.
"You know martial arts?"
Zhao Yuxian shuddered, her face turning even paler, and asked angrily.
"A little bit, it's family tradition,"
Wang Xiaohu quickly explained, "Sister Xian'er, please believe me, I've never lied to you, it's all true."
"Leave no one alive, kill!"
A chilling voice filled with murderous intent echoed through the White Lotus Sect's underground secret stronghold.
More than a dozen top-tier assassins and over twenty second-tier assassins quickly dispersed, each killing with a single blow. Hundreds of people were wiped out in the time it takes to brew a cup of tea.
"My lord, they slipped away through the secret passage,"
an assassin wearing a bronze mask said respectfully to a man wearing a silver mask.
"Chase them!"
the mysterious man in the white mask ordered. Three or four blood-soaked top-tier assassins were the first to enter the secret passage, pursuing Zhao Yuxian and Wang Xiaohu.
"My lord, let's split up,"
Zhao Yuxian said weakly to Wang Xiaohu as they emerged from the passage.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you,"
Wang Xiaohu said firmly, looking at the weakened Zhao Yuxian, his heart filled with reluctance. He reached out and embraced her.
Before Wang Xiaohu had gone even ten paces through the passage with Zhao Yuxian in his arms, five more top-tier assassins had caught up.
Wang Xiaohu and Zhao Yuxian's expressions changed simultaneously. Wang Xiaohu clearly felt the terrifying killing intent and icy aura emanating from their opponent. He was certain that if he were to attack, he would face a near-certain death!
"You dare to be so insolent!"
Wang Xiaohu gritted his teeth and roared, unleashing a powerful and domineering aura. His left arm held Zhao Yuxian, while his right hand was slightly raised, crackling with lightning—a truly terrifying sight.
The five top-tier assassins were startled and dared not act rashly. Instead, they quickly surrounded Zhao Yuxian and Wang Xiaohu.
A short while later, more than twenty cold-blooded assassins, covered in blood, emerged from the secret passage and quickly surrounded Zhao Yuxian and Wang Xiaohu.
"Retreat,"
the mysterious man wearing a silver mask hesitated for a moment upon seeing Wang Xiaohu's imposing presence before whispering. Following the silver-masked man's command, the twenty-odd assassins retreated swiftly, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Upon hearing the voice, Wang Xiaohu frowned slightly, a sense of unease creeping into his heart. He felt a strange familiarity with the voice of the mysterious man wearing the silver mask.
"Sister Xian'er, I'll take you to the city to find a doctor,"
Wang Xiaohu said, picking up Zhao Yuxian in his arms and rushing towards the county town.

[023] The White Lotus Saintess (Part 3)
Arriving at the largest pharmacy in Hekai County, they summoned the best doctor, finally stabilizing Zhao Yuxian's condition.
Relieved, Wang Xiaohu couldn't help but fall asleep by Zhao Yuxian's bedside. After all, not long ago, he had forcibly activated the Overlord Technique, greatly depleting his mental and physical strength. Although he possessed the lightning power bestowed upon him during his transmigration, he had not yet entered the Innate Realm.
Without entering the Innate Realm, true qi could not circulate freely, completing thirty-six cycles, endlessly.
When Wang Xiaohu awoke from his nap, he was horrified to find Zhao Yuxian gone from the bed. Upon exiting the pharmacy, he learned that Zhao Yuxian had been taken away by her sister.
Wang Xiaohu knew in his heart that the person who came was likely someone from Zhao Yuxian's secret organization. However, the thought that someone had entered his room unnoticed while he was asleep sent a chill down his spine. If the other party wanted to take his life, it would be as easy as turning his hand.
"Brother Wang, I've finally found you! Where did you go last night? You scared Wen Yuan to death!"
Wang Xiaohu walked out of the pharmacy somewhat dejectedly, only to run into Ma Ru, who was rushing over in a hurry.
"It's nothing,"
Wang Xiaohu said, somewhat disheartened. "Is Black Narcissus still at the manor?"
"Yes, Brother Wang,"
Ma Ru replied, startled, then said anxiously, "You're not leaving today, are you? Tonight, many talented men and beautiful women will be at the Crane Pavilion with you, reciting poetry and appreciating the moon. Several women who have long admired you want to meet you and witness your extraordinary charm. If you seize the opportunity, you might even have a wonderful romantic encounter."
Ma Ru's words only fueled Wang Xiaohu's excitement.
"Is that true?"
Wang Xiaohu asked, intrigued.
"Absolutely,"
Ma Ru assured him, patting his chest.
"Alright, then I'll leave tomorrow,"
Wang Xiaohu nodded, then returned to the manor with Ma Ru.
Wang Xiaohu returned to his room, took a bath, and went to bed. At lunchtime, a beautiful woman entered his room.
"This humble servant greets Young Master Wang."
Upon seeing Wang Xiaohu awaken, the beautiful woman quickly stepped forward and bowed.
"Greetings, Aunt Wang."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu quickly rose and returned the greeting.
"Ru'er and Lan'er have some matters to attend to and may not be back by noon."
Wang Min nodded upon hearing this and said, "Would Young Master Wang like to dine in the side hall or in the guest room at noon? I will instruct the servants to prepare accordingly."
"Brother Ma and his wife have gone out."
Upon hearing this, Wang Xiaohu frowned slightly and said, "In that case, I will dine in the guest room."
Wang Min was only sixteen years old and possessed great beauty when she married into the Ma family. Less than a year after her marriage, she gave birth to a son, Ma Ru. Ma Liang was jealous and extremely ambitious. After failing the imperial examination, Ma Liang became depressed and fell ill, and soon passed away. Wang Min was only eighteen years old when she became a widow. Relatives and friends all advised her to remarry, but Wang Min, being chaste by nature, insisted on refusing.
The Ma family was wealthy and lived a life of luxury. Wang Min, widowed for many years, was over thirty but had become increasingly beautiful and alluring. However, youth is often hard to bear, middle age is difficult. In the dead of night, when she gazed at herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness, lamenting her ill fate.
As the saying goes, no one knows a child better than their mother. Wang Min knew, of course, what kind of person Ma Ru was; her ambition was not much less than her father Ma Liang's. Wang Min feared that Ma Ru would follow in her father's footsteps. She lived in constant anxiety. After learning yesterday that Ma Ru had become close to Wang Xiaohu, the cousin of the Imperial Inspector, Wang Min knew what Ma Ru was plotting.
Wang Min's life experience far surpassed Ma Ru's, and the Ma family's wealth and background were simply beneath Wang Xiaohu's notice. To win a man's heart, one must focus on three things: money, beauty, and power. Money? Wang Xiaohu's family had no shortage of that. Power? His cousin was a high-ranking official, and his maternal uncle was a county magistrate; Wang Xiaohu's future prospects would undoubtedly be secure. Therefore, the only option was beauty.
Ma Ru was indeed shrewd and efficient. Unfortunately, Ma Ru had no idea what a real man's desires were.
Upon meeting Wang Min yesterday, she was immediately attracted to Wang Xiaohu. First, Wang Xiaohu was exceptionally handsome, with an excellent appearance. Second, Wang Xiaohu was incredibly audacious, his eyes revealing a strong possessive desire, brazenly stealing glances at her. Third, Wang Xiaohu possessed a wicked charm, particularly attractive to mature, beautiful women like Wang Min. Fourthly, Wang Xiaohu comes from an extraordinary family and has immense potential.
If Wang Xiaohu could be completely won over, it would be a significant help to her son, Ma Ru. Moreover, Wang Min had been pent up for over ten years and was already itching for more. While she still possessed her charms, she
wanted to take advantage of the situation, otherwise she would never have the chance again. Therefore, Wang Min conceived a plan to use herself to "seduce" and win over Wang Xiaohu.
In reality, the fundamental reason was that Wang Xiaohu possessed a unique charm that attracted mature women. What was Wang Xiaohu's background before his transmigration? He was a gigolo! And a top-tier gigolo at that! That kind of gigolo's gaze is most likely to seduce mature women and sophisticated women. Furthermore, the Wang family's inherited "Overlord's Technique" wasn't a traditional martial art; it leaned towards the demonic path, possessing a unique natural attraction to women, similar to one of the Ten Great Demonic Arts, "Demon Seed of the Dao Heart," but with far more subtle power.
The higher a woman's martial arts cultivation level, the greater the power of the "Overlord's Technique." The idea of "love at first sight" is just a legend. To have a beautiful woman throw herself into your arms, you need some special skill.
After the food was brought in, Wang Min dismissed everyone, telling them to leave the courtyard, and went to personally pour wine for Wang Xiaohu.
Wang Xiaohu saw Wang Min, all alluring, her beautiful eyes filled with a resentful, suppressed hunger, her face flushed, her posture alluring, her voice sweet and coquettish—clearly she was there to seduce him.
"This humble servant offers a toast to you on
behalf of Ru'er," Wang Min said, her breath sweet and her voice alluring as she approached Wang Xiaohu. The mature aura emanating from Wang Min's body and the alluring heat emanating from her made Wang Xiaohu's mouth dry and his senses boil.
"Thank you, Aunt Wang,"
Wang Xiaohu said, grabbing Wang Min's soft, boneless hand and bringing it to his lips with a sly smile. He drank the wine from his cup while kissing Wang Min's fingers, gazing at the beautiful woman before him.

Text [024] The White Lotus Holy Mother (Part Four)
Wang Min's body trembled violently, her heart nearly leaping out of her throat. Holding her breath, she looked at Wang Xiaohu with seductive eyes.
"Aunt Wang, please look."
Wang Xiaohu seized the opportunity, grabbed Wang Min, and brought her to the bedside. He took out a picture book from his pocket and placed it in front of Wang Min.
"Hmm, what is this?"
Wang Min whispered coquettishly, kissing him sweetly.
"Open it and take a look."
Wang Xiaohu said, hugging Wang Min from behind and chuckling softly.
Wang Min, her body almost limp in Wang Xiaohu's arms, opened the book with curiosity and immediately blushed, her heart pounding. It turned out that Wang Xiaohu's picture book was full of colored erotic pictures. The figures in the pictures were vivid and lifelike, and the intimate parts of men and women were revealed in every detail, just like the real thing. Wang Min had been widowed for more than ten years, lonely and thirsty; now, seeing the pictures, she couldn't help but feel her heart flutter.
Wang Min was both ashamed and curious, her mind wandering as she looked through page after page. The more she looked, the tighter her legs pressed together, and the wetter her crotch became. By the time she finished reading, she was trembling and had climaxed. Her body, deprived of sex for over ten years, was exceptionally sensitive; she felt weak all over, a tingling sensation spreading through her.
Wang Xiaohu felt Wang Min's smooth skin, incredibly comfortable to the touch, and began to explore her groin. Wang Min's face was flushed, her eyes tightly closed, her breathing rapid, her eyes filled with desire. Seeing Wang Min's alluring charm, Wang Xiaohu couldn't resist lowering his head and kissing her tightly closed cherry lips. He gently licked and slowly pried open Wang Min's teeth, his tongue probing into her warm mouth.
Wang Min was both ashamed and guilty, yet dared not struggle or resist. Under his caresses and tongue, her heart was filled with a complex mix of emotions. Wang Xiaohu was highly skilled; his gentle caresses and skillful teasing gradually replaced Wang Min's initial shyness with a surge of desire. Her breathing quickened, her cheeks flushed, and her expression shifted unpredictably with Wang Xiaohu's touch. Sometimes her brows furrowed, sometimes her lips parted slightly, and soft moans escaped her throat and nose.
Seeing her arousal, Wang Xiaohu took her hand and pulled it down. Upon touching it, Wang Min felt its towering, hot, and hard erection, and her heart skipped a beat.
Wang Xiaohu slowly lay down on the bed, while the alluring Wang Min straddled him. Her starry eyes were slightly closed, her lips parted slightly, her expression incredibly seductive; her open robe revealed her snow-white breasts, two tender, large peaks trembling.
After a passionate encounter...
Wang Min nestled against Wang Xiaohu's chest, her delicate fingers tracing circles on his skin, her eyes sparkling with satisfaction.
"Does Brother Ma know about our affair?"
Having calmed down after his outburst, Wang Xiaohu asked Wang Min.
"Ru'er, he doesn't know."
Hearing this, Wang Min quickly shook her head. "Brother Xiaohu, Ru'er is ignorant. You'll have to guide him more in the future."
"Okay."
Wang Xiaohu was delighted to see Wang Min acting so affectionately. Although he didn't know how much of what Wang Min said was true, this "Ma Ru" was definitely someone important! Wang Xiaohu already had the idea of recruiting him.
"While we still have some things to do, Sister Min, let's do it again."
Wang Xiaohu said, rolling over and pressing himself against Wang Min's soft, delicate body.
"No! You're so mean... oh..." After another passionate encounter, Wang Xiaohu and Wang Min reluctantly got up and dressed.
In the afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Ma returned. After exchanging pleasantries with Ma Ru, Wang Xiaohu changed into clean clothes and went to the Crane Tower for a banquet. Little
did Wang Xiaohu know that he would encounter a great trouble.
No sooner had Wang Xiaohu and Ma Ru arrived at the Crane Tower than a beautiful young woman of about eighteen or nineteen, with an ethereal beauty, slowly walked into the building. Her beauty, her temperament, and her captivating figure instantly stunned all the guests in the tower!
This stunningly beautiful girl was not only breathtakingly beautiful, but every gesture she made was also incredibly moving… However, beneath her exquisite face lay a cold, aloof, and serious air.
Wang Xiaohu's gaze, like everyone else's, never left her after she entered. She wore a silver-white fitted outfit, over which she wore a light gray mink fur short coat, and carried a long sword with a white sheath and silver tassels. A long white ribbon was elegantly tied around her jet-black hair. Her attire clearly indicated she was a noblewoman from a martial arts family.
The young woman, with her beautiful, watery eyes, coldly glanced around the upper floor before finally fixing her gaze on Wang Xiaohu. Wang Xiaohu gazed at this woman dressed as Chang'e, noticing her delicate eyebrows, almond-shaped face, and peach-blossom cheeks. The tight-fitting belt of her outfit accentuated her slender waist, and the high, rounded curves of her breasts revealed a pair of exquisitely beautiful breasts beneath her clothing, arousing his imagination.
This beautiful young woman, as delicate as snow and as lovely as a celestial being, was none other than Bai Lianhua, the Holy Maiden of the White Lotus Sect. She had come to Kai County for only one purpose: to kill Wang Xiaohu!
