How can men resolve their lifelong sexual anxieties?

    page views:1  Publication date:2023-05-19
From birth, the body gradually ages, and different age groups bring different worries. In relationships, men's concerns about sex also change with age. For men, each age stage brings different priorities in life, but there is only one thing that they care about throughout their lives—sex.
In heterosexual relationships, men have always been considered the embodiment of strength, always appearing "strong, powerful, and confident." In fact, men encounter some "sexual troubles" at every age. Overcoming these troubles will lead to a happier life for men.
Around 20 years old: High libido, repression is too painful, masturbation is feared to be harmful. Professor Ma Xiaonian of the Department of Sexual Medicine at Tsinghua University Yuquan Hospital points out that 18-25 years old is the golden age of male sexual ability. During this stage, libido is high and sexual sensitivity is high. However, most people are in school at this time, and opportunities for sexual activity are less frequent. Therefore, some people often feel sexual repression and irritability; others become addicted to pornography websites and masturbate frequently. Recommendations: Cultivate one or two sports hobbies to release the psychological emotions brought about by sex through exercise; masturbate in moderation, so as not to feel tired the next day; if it is the "first time", take safety measures and use condoms correctly.
Around 30 years old: Work fatigue and busy life can lead to decreased libido and poorer sperm quality. Thirty is a man's "age of establishment," but due to excessive fatigue, sexual drive may decline, and sperm quality may be affected. Guo Jun, chief physician of the Department of Andrology at Xiyuan Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, points out: "Unhealthy lifestyle habits, radiation, and environmental pollution can all affect sperm quality." He recommends that men who want children undergo fertility testing and quit smoking and drinking.
Around 40 years old: Erectile dysfunction and marital problems. After 40, men experience a decline in testosterone levels, making them more prone to erectile dysfunction (ED). Some men attribute this to "aesthetic fatigue" and seek new stimulation, ultimately leading to marital breakdown. Recommendations: Seek medical attention promptly for erectile problems; don't always think about changing partners, try new locations and new positions.
Around age 50: Chronic diseases begin to appear, and the prostate becomes more delicate. After age 50, problems caused by lifestyle diseases such as hypertension and diabetes gradually become more prominent, affecting the sex life of many men. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) also begins to appear, with common symptoms including weak urine stream, thin urine stream, incomplete urination, and frequent urination at night. Recommendations: Avoid prolonged sitting, drink plenty of water, and eat less spicy food. Have a prostate checkup every year, and seek treatment promptly if any problems are found.
After 60: Cease sexual activity and become depressed. As the body ages, sexual ability declines, leading some to give up sex and becoming more prone to depression. Recommendations: Maintain a regular sex life, using foreplay instead of intercourse. Have a full physical examination annually, including checks on the prostate and testicles.
