Erotic Beauty Paintings - Chapter Nine

"you?"
Prince Luo stared in astonishment at the little girl who was much shorter than him. He never imagined that the famous painter of Chunhua Tower would be such an inconspicuous little brat.
"Yes! It's me! If you don't believe me, I can prove it to you!" Yu An didn't know where he got the courage from, but he nodded vigorously.
"Xiao An!" Hongyan was shocked that Yu An would reveal his identity, and Bi Shi turned pale with fright.
Once those words were spoken, the secret could no longer be kept!
Even if Yu An wanted to hide it, she wouldn't be able to hide it once Prince Luo investigated, but... she didn't want to drag Yu An down in the first place!
"Alright, prove it to me!" Prince Luo didn't know if this was just an excuse, but since Yu An wanted to prove it, he would give her a chance.
“I… need drawing paper and brushes…” Yu An replied somewhat stiffly.
She was only thinking about saving everyone, which is why she blurted it out, but now...
It seems there's really no way to escape it.
"Send someone to fetch it." Prince Luo clearly didn't trust him, after all, Yu An didn't have the slightest hint of a painter.
"Then... I'll call someone..." Yu An was so frightened that he almost walked to the door with his hands and feet in unison.
"Guards!" Prince Luo shouted at the door.
"Your Highness, is something the matter?" asked the personal guard of Prince Luo who was standing guard outside.
"Keep an eye on this girl and make her get what she wants!"
As soon as Prince Luo spoke, the guards outside immediately pushed open the door and entered, followed by two burly men.
The men then supported Yu An from both the front and the back, practically pushing and pulling her out.
"Sister Hongyan, don't worry, I... I'll be back to save you right away." Yu An, his face pale, turned back and forced a smile at Hongyan.
"Xiao An! Hongyan is really panicked. Although it wouldn't be difficult for Yu An to prove that she is the painter, no one can say for sure how Prince Luo will make things difficult for them afterward!"
Before Yu An could reply, he was pulled out of the room.
She followed the guard, trembling, down the stairs, her pale face etched with worry and anxiety.
The girls who passed by her were surprised by her expression, wanting to ask but not daring to speak, because the gazes of the two guards beside her made them too scared to approach.
"Which way do we go next?" The guards escorting Yu An were just a short distance from the front hall on the first floor. Ignoring the astonished looks of the other guests, they asked Yu An directly.
"Behind, behind..." Yu An was so frightened that he could barely speak.
The guards nodded to each other and then pushed Yu An toward the back room.
Wen Niang, who had just heard about the strange occurrence, arrived at the scene. She was terrified to see Yu An being held captive by Prince Luo's men.
"Gentlemen, what's going on here? What did this girl do wrong?"
"Stop babbling!"
The guards only obeyed Prince Luo's orders and naturally ignored Wen Niang. They simply pushed her aside and escorted Yu An onward.
“Wen…Wen Niang…” Yu An hurriedly turned around and glanced at the astonished Wen Niang, his face full of apology.
Although Wen Niang could be quite fierce towards her, she had at least raised her for ten years, allowed her to draw the pictures she liked, and didn't have to sell herself, so she treated her very well.
"Wait a minute! You're taking her without even asking what happened! She's one of my Chunhua Brothels, do you think you can just do whatever you want with her?" Wen Niang had been in the red-light district for many years and had seen all sorts of things. Many high-ranking officials and nobles were her regular customers, so even though she was momentarily flustered, the thought of her cash cow being taken away by someone else made her furious.
"We are acting on Prince Luo's orders to watch her retrieve the items and deliver them to the prince!" the guards shouted angrily at Wen Niang.
"What should we take?" Wen Niang asked questioningly.
"This is the prince's business - you don't need to worry about it." The guard still didn't intend to explain things to Wen Niang.
"What do you mean I don't need to care! Make this clear, you are standing on my Chunhualou's land right now!" Wen Niang was also furious.
In terms of power and influence, she certainly has a lot of connections!
"If you try to stop me, kill me without mercy!" The guard was enraged by Wen Niang.
"Wait, wait a minute! Stop arguing..." Yu An didn't know what to do. She originally wanted to calm everyone down, but the argument only got worse, and now even Wen Niang was involved.
Looking at the guests and girls surrounding them, gossiping, Yu An was really worried that everyone might get dragged into this mess.
Ugh... Is all she can do now is be thankful that Gong Cailiang didn't come?
Otherwise, if Gong Cailiang stands up for her, it will truly ruin Gong Cailiang's life...
"Xiao An?"
A familiar voice interrupted Yu An's thoughts. She looked up in surprise, and in an instant, the sound of Wen Niang arguing with the guards beside her had faded away, leaving only the figure in front of her.
"Cai...Cailiang!" Yu An could hardly believe it!
She wasn't mistaken, was she? It really is Gong Cailiang!
"Xiao An, what exactly happened?" Gong Cailiang pushed through the crowd and approached Yu An, asking quietly.
He was stunned by the crowd in the hall as soon as he entered the room.
Why is everyone huddled together? And I can vaguely hear people arguing.
He pushed through the crowd to find out what was going on, but he didn't expect that Yu An would be caught in the middle.
"Cailiang! I... that secret... Waaah... Master Luo knows..." When Yu An saw her beloved Gong Cailiang appear, she finally couldn't hold back anymore and burst into tears. Looking at Yu An, who was crying like a baby, Gong Cailiang didn't care about how many people were around and quickly hugged Yu An to comfort her.
It must be that Prince Luo saw the picture and is now furious.
But why is Yu An involved? Logically speaking, no one should know that it was Yu An who painted it.
“Xiao An, you didn’t tell me, did you? About that matter…” Whether it was her drawing pictures for Tu Feijun and Hongyan, or her being a pornographic artist, both of these things would cause a lot of trouble if brought up.
"I...I can't help it...He's so angry...He wronged Sister Hongyan..." Yu An couldn't help but burst into tears.
In Chunhua Pavilion, her favorite person was Sister Hongyan. How could she let Prince Luo misunderstand her?
"Don't cry, I'll go explain to the Prince." Gong Cailiang gently patted Yu An, then turned to the two guards who were arguing with Wen Niang and asked, "May I inform him?"
"What are you reporting? The master ordered us to take her to retrieve something, there's no room for discussion." Because Gong Cailiang's tone was gentle, the guards temporarily suppressed their anger.
"Master Gong, please say a few words for me! Prince Luo's behavior is really disrespectful to Chunhua Pavilion. Why is he making things difficult for my maid? He can't even explain himself clearly."
A string of complaints came out of Wen Niang's mouth like a machine gun, naturally in order to get Gong Cailiang as an extra helper.
“Gentlemen, there is indeed a misunderstanding here, and I can explain the whole story to His Highness. If it is feasible, please ask His Highness for his permission.” Gong Cailiang’s tone remained gentle, and he did not intend to force the issue.
A head-on confrontation would only result in mutual destruction. He had no intention of starting a war; he only wanted to protect his little lover, his Yu An.
The two guards exchanged a glance. Having served Prince Luo for many years, they knew that their lord was usually a reasonable man and would never easily lose his temper.
So if this matter can be resolved peacefully and without any further issues, I believe my lord will agree. "Alright, I'll go upstairs and ask the lord's opinion first. You all wait here for now." Finally, one of the guards made a decision.
"Then I'll have to trouble you." Gong Cailiang cupped her hands slightly and nodded in agreement.
Yu An held Gong Cailiang tightly. Only now did she realize how much she depended on Gong Cailiang.
Aside from her love for Gong Cailiang, she had long been dependent on him and couldn't live without him by her side...
"This is really something new."
Inside the Chunhua Pavilion, in a quiet room reserved for honored guests, Prince Luo, Hongyan, Yu An, and Gong Cailiang gathered with solemn expressions.
