Episode 1: The Battle of the Last Stand
I've read and heard a great deal about the modern history of the war between the two countries, and I myself have conducted in-depth research on every famous figure in Diri, including the Four Tiger Generals, Zagal, Mephisto, Bogota, and Dodo. However, I had never heard that the "Black Knight" Rick actually possessed a special ancient bloodline, the inheritors of which are called "Dragon Knights."
To trace the mysterious power of the "Dragon Knights," we must go back to an era even earlier than the Shaka Dynasty. Since it is more than five thousand years later, human books no longer record it. Only the ancient fairy documents that Yuri's father gave me contain it. Even now, if the name of the Dragon Knights is mentioned, probably very few humans would know it, except for the dying.
Legend has it that the earliest name for dragon knights was "Dragon Envoy," and the story originated with a boy. The book's record may be vague, only describing this mysterious boy as having nothing to do, but whether his surname was "Xianlai" and his given name was "Wushi" (meaning "idle and carefree"), or whether he truly had nothing to do, is impossible to verify.

In the normally densely packed square in the city center, approximately ten thousand soldiers and nearly five thousand winged warriors, even some wounded soldiers, were gathered, silently awaiting our orders. Due to Kirul's strict orders, only six torches illuminated the square, leaving most of it dark.
As the cold night wind blew, I became even calmer and began to slowly organize the simulated tactics. Standing at the forefront of the generals, holding a torch, I smiled and said, "My respectable warriors, you have all worked hard these past few days. Tonight, I have gathered you all here because I have some good news and some bad news to tell you."
With the troops under control, the nearly 20,000 soldiers remained quietly waiting. I smiled and said, "The good news is that the siege of Flower Stone City will end tonight."
The soldiers looked at each other, some already anticipating a momentous operation tonight. I gave them about twenty seconds to process it, and continued in my usual relaxed manner, "The bad news is that Flower Stone City's food supplies have run out."
For the defending troops, running out of food was tantamount to a death sentence.
Even Kirul and others tensed up. Everyone knew the truth would be revealed sooner or later, but they still didn't know how to keep the soldiers calm. I, too, felt a sense of dread; a little more provocation and the entire army would collapse. The soldiers in the square couldn't help but let out weak moans; even in the darkness, their trembling was palpable. If it weren't for the large number of captains and generals present, their voices would have been enough to wake the enemy.

Kirul will lead five thousand city guards in a night raid on Jingyun's camp. Poyue and Ya Nan will lead five thousand winged warriors to hold off the enemy in the air."
"Loma will lead fifty elite Royal Guardsmen to outflank the enemy and set fire to their supplies during the chaos. Lucy and Halevin will each lead two thousand Royal Guardsmen to lie in ambush at key points to repel the Dark Elves and the Diri army that come to their aid."
Kirul and the others trembled slightly. Our army has come out in full force, leaving Huashi City like a vacuum. Isn't this abandoning the people inside the city? And what about Aishana, Hefanqin, and the others?
I laughed and said, "Sada and Baoshuo will lead the dwarf warriors to deal with Gaoxia's cavalry that is raiding the city."

撒达上前行礼，问道：「己方战士只有一千二百，如果高夏率其七万骑兵大举进攻，我们将如何抵挡？」
我将连射魔法石摺弩和剩下的爆破箭一併交给他，说：「听清楚，花石城的东、南和西门已经被我派人炸掉了，他们要攻城只剩下一条北门。你们的机会只有一次，让他们先放骑兵进城然后炸毁吊桥，明白了吗？」
士卒和将领皆忍不住发出惊唿，花石城的四面吊桥全部炸毁，相对来说他们已经没有任何退路。
撒达笑道：「明白，撒达会让他们试试矮人族的厉害！」
北桥底下其实放置了炸药，只等高夏的骑兵进城之际，撒达就会用爆破箭炸断吊桥，硬生生将高夏的军队斩成两团，矮人族的杀猪阵正好是骑兵的剋星，猝不及防之下，杀猪阵的威力足以灭其先头部队。
除了矮人族战士，我还有另一张王牌。
瞄了一眼远方北门旁边的幽暗处，在接近真空的城楼上，一直没有出手的海萍早已等待多时。当高夏以为我们倾巢而出时，任他千算万算也猜不到，城内正有一千矮人战士和一名魔导士等着招唿他。以高夏的性格很大机会一马当先闯入城，要真是那样子，他的首级铁定在明早挂于城墙之上。
我柔声说：「派人通知凤丝雅会主和梵沁女皇，只等我们击退三族大军，立即带陛下、公主、雷音和百姓到汉威堡集合。」
撒达愕然问道：「四桥尽毁，我们该如何出城？」
我笑道：「打胜仗，用敌人尸体填护城河出去。」
各人皆领命而去，而我则跟随基鲁尔的主力部队潜近翼人军。潜伏好军队，我俩爬到最前线，他低声问道：「贤侄，那个撒达和洛玛是何许人？他们能够达成任务吗？」
「放心吧，我选择他们自有我的道理。」
此战不成功便成仁，基鲁尔担心是很合理，在上次出使时，我已试过撒达的能力，他虽然不是什么智将或勐将，但胜在沈稳老练，有军事经验。至于洛玛更不必说，单是杰克逊的记忆就够我投信心一票。
察看了一回翼人族的军营，我笑道：「军营外围松散，显示主帅已无力管理这枝军队，看来静韵的伤果然很重。」
基鲁尔一拍我肩膀道：「难怪你选择翼人族下手，真不愧是将门之后，要是宁菱那个丫头有你一半的才能我就心满意足。」
我反手搭着他肩膊，笑说：「我的想法刚好相反，不让子女学习兵法才算慈父的行为。」
基鲁尔呆了一刻，惭愧说：「提督教训得好！基鲁尔受教了。」
我军伏于翼人军营前半里的小坡，等没多久破岳和雅男带着几名近卫过来，说：「露茜和哈利文两位将军已经佈置好，洛玛带齐人潜到敌方左侧半里待命，我们翼人族战士亦随时可以出发。」
基鲁尔望向天空，说：「来了！」
在天空中有二粒黑点朝我方飞过来，他们是翼人族的巡逻兵。翼人由于能够飞天，在制空权的便利下亦拥有最广泛的索敌范围，被称为大地上最难偷袭的军队。相对而言，越是安全的想法，往往亦潜藏越大的危机，即使静韵如何神机妙算，也不会想到我偏偏捨易取难偷袭她们。
在天空中放哨的两名翼人战士深具经验，他们不但飞得比普通翼人高，而且不时躲进云层之内隐藏，活像两只神龙见首不见尾的苍蝇，叫敌人完全没法掌握位置。别说是基鲁尔，就连雅男亦眉头大皱，翼人族的哨兵果然非同一般。
看着这对翼人缓缓飞近我方，不论是将领或是下士，伏在草丛中的军队上下尽是胆颤心惊。我们已无退路，万一被他们发现，一切战术都要泡汤。破岳和雅男俱是箭术高手，后者苦笑道：「距离实在太远，即使是我的霸皇弓亦无法射中他们。」
破岳说：「我有一招叫『破阳』的奥义，可以无视距离稳中目标，但会费耗大量体力，恐怕无法参加之后的大作战。」
我摇头断言道：「对方一名哨兵换我方一员大将，这条帐我蚀不起。」
雅男问道：「就算距离再远，但用魔法应该可以打中。」
基鲁尔摇头叹气，破岳尴尬地苦笑，我直接说：「魔法确实可以击落他们，问题是魔法本身又光又亮，打中时更会来个动听的爆炸，情况跟被发现没有差别，没经验的处女别乱放意见好吗？」
雅男气得面红道：「他们快接近了，贱男你有什么方法？」
我一边打开亚空间，一边笑说：「方法当然有！老子我可是亚梵堤，你们的弓不行，不知道翼人族的皇室宝贝行不行？」
当我取出翼人皇室的象徵物，那对龙头和凤首大金弓时，破岳和雅男即时张目结舌，说不出话来。他们都知道我夺去了凤首弓，但却不晓得我连龙头弓也骗了回来。
这两把神弓的射程冠绝当世，最适合用在这个关键时刻。
雅男怒道：「这把龙头弓你怎会得到的？」
「嘿嘿……别废话了他们快要飞到。」
时间紧逼，破岳和雅男也不便再说话，他们匆匆拿起龙头和凤首试了一下重量，手指也扣了几下弓弦，已将箭上到弦上瞄准。
翼人族奥义——夜视。
破岳和雅男使用了奥义夜视，他们的瞳孔变成像猫瞳一样，将龙头凤首弓弦拉满。换了其他人在这黑夜里，即使有龙头凤首也无法瞄准云中的敌人，可是我方却有箭神和他的弟子，能使用翼人奥义寻找出目标物，这个不可能的任务也变成了有可能。
只要他们别来搞笑射中同一只就好。
城卫军和翼人战士相加起来，这里草坡埋伏的足有一万多人以上，现在全都屏息以待，一声不响。破岳和雅男拉满龙头和凤首二弓，二弓同时发出一下「嗖」的微响，两枝疾箭以极速直飞天空中的黑云。
对于我们普通人类来说，根本看不见空中的情况，只知道两枝箭射入了厚厚的云层里。在这提心吊胆的片刻时光，两粒黑点透出云层，从天空上掉落地面。
成功！
破岳微微一笑，雅男向我做了个不可一世的嚣张嘴脸，基鲁尔暗唿一口气后竖起拇指。
翼人军的侦察兵坠到地上，破岳和雅男则腾空而起，他们的工作是冒充两名侦察兵。其实敌军尚有地上的哨兵，很快就会发现不妥，但在战场上能争取多一秒的优势也要尽量争取。我向基鲁尔打个眼色，后者已经发出指示，全体士兵慢慢向静韵军的阵营潜过去。
老实说，打仗中我最讨厌是伏路，像现在匍匐而行是很辛苦的，还要跟着一班男人这样爬，唉，自作孽。忽然间我想到一件事：我根本不应该带领人类的士兵，翼人战士那边最少有一半是女性啊！
跟静韵军的营门尚有二百步差距时，对方终于发觉有异，一支值班的二十人小队伍立即向这边飞来确认。其实这个距离比我预期更近，敌军失去主帅后早已变得松散，基鲁尔一声令下射出一堆箭雨，那支小队伍顿时变成箭靶。
这边厢我们的士兵已经爬起身向前冲，那边厢他们亦敲响警报，花石城攻守的最后一战立即爆发。我跟基鲁尔率领城卫军扑出，盾兵在前矛兵在后，朝着翼人军的栏门硬闯，我方的翼人战士飞起来，早一步夺取制空权。静韵军毕竟是被动，最早飞上天空的士兵只有值班的几百名，但都给破岳和雅男给射回去。
一息后，原本休息中的翼人战士才从帐幕抢出，可是我方的翼人士兵早佔住了天空，一顿顿的箭雨将升起的静韵军压制住。陆战方，二、三十个静韵军士卒挡住栏栅门，不让我军轻易进入营内，基鲁尔突然独个抢出，越过我方士兵发出一声巨喝，挥动左铁拳打在栅栏门上。
四大虎将可不是假的，这名巨汉一拳怒碎栏门，挡在门后的几十名翼人军士兵全被震飞。在栏毁门碎下，只有基鲁尔雄壮的虎躯卓立尘埃之中，披风在空气里飞扬，别说普通小卒士兵目瞪口呆，就连我这能征惯战的大将也要暗吃一惊，能抵挡我家老头子的将军果是不凡。
"Hahahaha... Men, give it your all!" Perhaps having been cowards for too long, Kirul issued the order with great enthusiasm, and the soldiers, naturally, were unstoppable, rushing into the Jingyun army camp for an assault. They formed a strange formation, which was quite interesting to see with the city guards lying on the ground convulsing.
Kirul and I stood outside the formation, while Jingyun stood proudly atop the camp, her wings outstretched, her long hair and battle robes fluttering in the night wind. However, her beautiful face was extremely pale. She said softly, "I didn't expect the Admiral and the General to visit Jingyun at night. It's a pity that my army has no fine wine to entertain our distinguished guests."
If we weren't on opposing sides, Jingyun would actually be quite an interesting woman.
With great difficulty, my gaze shifted from Jingyun to the other female warriors. These winged guards were all highly skilled, and their formation was strange and peculiar, undoubtedly taught to them by Jingyun herself. Kirul nudged me with his elbow, and I could only manage a wry smile. If Jingyun's army were to have a chance to regroup, it would be even more disadvantageous for us. Now, our only option is to fight a bloody battle with Jingyun and her personal guard. Capturing Jingyun alive would certainly shake Li Silong. The above is purely the bald guy's idea; I just want to casually pick up a few female warriors to enjoy.
Kirul launched the first attack, his heavy steel spear piercing the air as he charged straight at the Red Powder Army. However, my style was completely different. I stomped on the stunned Kirul's shoulder with my left foot and swung into the ranks of the Red Powder Army. The Red Powder Army couldn't see me, who was invisible. Just when I thought I had succeeded, a long spear suddenly appeared and blocked Maki Fen. I frowned; the only one who could withstand my sword strike was the commander-in-chief of the formation—Jingyun.
Sword and spear clashed three times in an instant. Jingyun staggered back two steps, the spearhead completely sliced off by Maji Fen. Having no foothold, I, like the bald man before me, was sent flying back to my original position. As I retreated, I noticed Jingyun's wings vibrating, and I couldn't help but admire this chief strategist of the winged race. Upon seeing me use my rare invisibility magic, Jingyun remained calm and composed, calmly analyzing the situation and devising a countermeasure. She used the vibrations of her wings to generate gusts of air, scanning my exact location like wavelengths.
No wonder Lei Yin lost; Jing Yun is indeed formidable!
Jingyun's fragrant body trembled slightly, and suddenly a horrifying amount of blood gushed from her small mouth, staining her long robe crimson. Twenty pink-clad guards glared at me angrily, and I laughed, "The way you're looking at me is getting me sexually aroused. It seems Lei Yin didn't lose by much."
If Jingyun hadn't been injured, I probably would have been hurt a bit during our fight.
On the ground, fierce battles raged, and in the sky, a raging inferno reigned. Jingyun's army continued its attempt to break through the blockade, while Poyue and Ya'nan's Royal Guard fought desperately to hold the skies. Another deafening roar echoed from behind the camp, indicating that no enemy could hold Loma back. That money-eating beast was probably grinning foolishly as it set fires, and might even steal some valuables along the way.
A pink-clad guard shouted, "Protect the Queen and retreat!"
Kirul and I burst out laughing, and the latter said, "It's not that easy!"
This Red Powder Army is not to be underestimated. Kirul gradually changed his tactics, unleashing a devastating attack with his heavy steel spear, forcing the female warriors of the Red Powder Army to fight head-on. As for me, I assisted Kirul with my nimble swordsmanship. Actually, seeing the current situation, I knew that I couldn't capture Jingyun, so I secretly conserved my stamina and magic power to deal with Tianshu or Gaoxia.
Kirul, that brute, has far more stamina than a refined person like me, so he spared no effort in his relentless attacks, hoping to weaken Jingyun's guards and even worsen her injuries. Our city guards also engaged in fierce fighting with Jingyun's army. Due to the enemy's lack of expertise in ground combat, our army held a clear advantage.
Fires raged throughout the camp, military flags lay askew, and just as we were locked in a fierce battle with the Red Powder Guards, a sound came from the right side of the camp. The Dark Elf army of Tian Shu had finally arrived, and they were now happily ambushed. "The Dark Elf Clan did indeed send reinforcements, but they weren't heavyweights like the Sky Tree or Tiger Spirit. They were just a few lower-ranking soldiers, numbering less than two thousand, and Captain Lucy has already sent them back," said Haliwen.

Now that they have suffered defeats, the differences between the pro-war and pro-chaos factions have become public, and Haitang has lost control of military decision-making."
"Should we pursue the Dark Elves or the Winged People?" Harry asked.
I gently waved Maki Fen and smiled, saying, "Gao Xia has been clamoring for a duel with me, so I'll go along with it. General Harvin, bring your men to Gao Xia's camp and hurl firearms, but don't engage them in direct combat."
Haliwon bowed and said, "This subordinate obeys."
"Uncle Kirul, let's go back to Shihuashi City and deal with that brat Gao Xia."
