They each had brought their teenagers to the hospital and came over to greet Melvin. Melvin introduced me as his girlfriend and patted my belly, telling the two Black men, "Look, my baby is inside."
Then he and the two Black men burst into laughter.
Furthermore, what worries and embarrasses me are the nude photos he took of me in Melvin's bedroom a year ago, and the nude photos my husband took of me every few weeks after I became pregnant to show the progress of my pregnancy, because Gary actually showed those photos to the people he played poker with. At first I didn't know, but someone told me later. This made me very angry, and for at least a week I wouldn't allow Gary to touch me.
After I was six months pregnant, Melvin stopped coming over to have sex with me, but he still called frequently to check on me.
