That day, my girlfriend suddenly came to see me. I hadn't seen her much lately, and I assumed she was working on her university social research paper, so I didn't dare disturb her. Today, she didn't even call, but came straight to my dorm. I noticed her once bright and expressive eyes had lost their sparkle.

They happily rented the house to them after receiving their deposit and the first month's rent.

They moved in, but the furniture and belongings were very few; there were only two small travel bags containing clothes, and the bed was the one Shaoqing and her sister used to sleep in.

Two months later, the woman stopped coming back to live there, and Shiping only paid rent twice, then stopped paying altogether.

Shaoxia's father had no choice but to press Shiping for payment, but he only said he would pay every few days. After that, he would come home late at night and not get up until after 10 a.m. every morning. Since Shaoxia's parents both had to go out to work, they had no chance to run into him.
