"My Little Wife's Affair" - Chapter 2, A Weekly Affair

After taking a shower, Su Ye lay on the large bed she shared with Du Heng, idly flipping through channels with the remote control. Regarding this ultra-luxurious bed, Su Ye remembered that Du Heng had specially commissioned it from Italy before their wedding last year; it was practically one of a kind in the world.
Su Ye lay under the fragrant silk quilt, her still-damp black hair wrapped in a towel, waiting for Du Heng to finish his bath. Du Heng would dry her hair after his bath. Du Heng seemed quite enamored with her black hair; whenever he was around, she would always wait for him to come and dry it for her.
Su Ye stared at the closed bathroom door, puzzled. She wondered why she and Du Heng always showered separately, one after the other. Though ignorant, Su Ye knew of the custom of "sharing a bath." Imagining herself and Du Heng showering naked in the bathroom, Su Ye put down the remote, her face slightly flushed. Actually, she wasn't interested in the act itself; she was just curious. Du Heng seemed to have never done this before.
Su Ye thought for a while and quickly came to a conclusion. Du Heng was actually the most law-abiding person in the world. In front of others, he was always elegant, mature, and reserved. Few people could guess his thoughts, and even fewer knew his preferences. Even Su Ye, as Du Heng's bedmate, often felt that this man was truly unfathomable when faced with Du Heng's unfathomable eyes, which were as deep as the ocean.
Can you imagine such an enigmatic person facing a woman completely naked? Certainly not. The only way to get him to reveal his civilized facade is under the covers.
The bathroom door finally opened, and Du Heng emerged, wrapped in a white bath towel. His short black hair, dried and slightly disheveled, had a single damp strand falling across his full forehead. This was a rare sight of Du Heng. Looking at him, Su Ye inexplicably felt an indescribable allure. She frantically searched for words to describe it—was it a captivating charm? A hint of allure? A touch of sexiness?
Du Heng had already walked to the bedside. He sat on the edge of the bed, picked up the hairdryer next to him, and began to style Su Ye's long hair.
Su Ye obediently moved slightly to match his posture, making it easier for him to take care of her.
The hairdryer made a loud whirring sound. Su Ye closed her eyes, feeling the man's long fingers run through her hair and the soft hair brushing against her cheek.
Du Heng turned off the hairdryer and placed it aside, looking with satisfaction at the smooth and shiny hair he had styled. He sat down, brought his nose close to Su Ye's ear, and whispered, "Sweetie, go to bed first, I'll be done soon."
Warm breath brushed against her ear, making Su Ye's left cheek feel hot. She nodded slightly and murmured an "Mmm."
Du Heng quickly dried his hair, hung the bath towel aside, turned off the main light in the bedroom, leaving only the orange lampshade by the bedside, before getting into bed and crawling under the covers.
As soon as Du Heng got into bed, Su Ye felt a chill. She tried to pull away, but Du Heng wouldn't let her. He held her tightly against his strong chest, and his powerful legs pinned her legs down. Su Ye protested softly, "Cold..."
Du Heng held her, panting as he kissed her earlobe, her cheek, and her lips urgently.
He said, his breath catching in his throat, "It won't be cold in a little while."
Su Ye gradually stopped protesting, and Du Heng swallowed her slight moans.
Later, as expected, the temperature dropped, and Du Heng radiated an astonishing heat, causing Su Ye's body to heat up as well. Du Heng's movements became increasingly urgent, his domineering kisses moving from her lips to her neck and then continuing downwards.
Su Ye was basically at his mercy; she was like a little bird caught by an eagle, trembling helplessly in his arms.
Her eyes were filled with confusion as she looked up at the ceiling, her mind a jumble of thoughts. Du Heng was indeed the most unfathomable person.
Not to mention that he appears mature, reserved, and composed in front of outsiders, even a moment ago he was still a gentleman, calm and collected.
But in that short moment, he transformed into a man-eating leopard.
The leopard was both eager and restrained, calmly controlling the progress of everything as he watched Su Ye display a beauty that no one else could see beneath him.
=================================
That night, Su Ye was finally able to rest very late.
She closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep, but her mind was indeed wandering. On this autumn night, when she was reunited with her husband, she thought of her parents who had passed away many years ago.
Su Ye's father was a businessman and investor with keen insight, having invested in many highly profitable projects. Her mother was a pianist who came from an orphanage. Su Ye's parents doted on her, and she lived like a little princess from a young age.
When she was thirteen, her parents were in a car accident. Her mother died on the spot, and her father died on the way to the hospital, leaving Su Ye alone and helpless.
Su Ye's parents had no relatives, and Su Ye suddenly became an orphan. At that time, how many people coveted the huge fortune that Su Ye inherited? Little Su Ye was like a child walking around the bustling city clutching a golden doll.
Just then, Du Heng stepped forward and said that Su's father had made a verbal will to those around him before his death, saying that if he were gone, Su Ye should be handed over to Du Heng.
This statement caused an uproar among the crowd.
Who is Du Heng?
At that time, Du Heng was only twenty-five years old, yet he already possessed immense wealth. Du Heng's success was inseparable from Su Ye's father.
When Du Heng was still a university student, he began to make a name for himself in the internet industry. At that time, he wanted to start a company, but he lacked funds. He returned home and asked his father for help, only to find that his father directly wanted him to abandon business and go into politics. At that time, Du Heng had a poor relationship with his father, and with a stepmother also living in the house, the hot-blooded young man left home in a fit of anger and cut off all contact with his father. Just then, the experienced Su Murong recognized the potential in this young man and saw the development prospects of the internet industry, so he injected a large sum of money into Du Heng's company.
When Su Murong invested this money, many people advised him against it, saying that the success rate of the investment was too low, and it was destined to be a complete loss. Su Murong, sipping his coffee, calmly replied, "If a meat bun I throw can actually hit a dog, then the return on investment will be very considerable."
As it turned out, Su Murong hadn't misjudged the industry or the person. Du Heng later expanded the company, injected more capital, issued new shares, and went public. By the time Su Murong died in a car accident, Du Heng's company had become a globally renowned name, and Du Heng himself graced the cover of Fortune magazine.
Now that Su Murong is leaving Su Ye to Du Heng, everyone around him can't help but sigh, wondering what it is about Du Heng that Su Murong has taken a liking to, that makes him value him so highly. It's important to understand that this isn't just about the custody of a thirteen-year-old girl; more importantly, it's about the management of Su Murong's vast fortune.
Du Heng did not disappoint Su Murong. Before Su Murong's funeral was even over, he had swiftly brought Su Ye back to his home for protection. By this time, it was impossible for anyone with ulterior motives to use Su Ye for any schemes.
Du Heng cared for Su Ye for five years, until she turned eighteen, at which point he took her to the United States to register their marriage. From then on, Su Ye and her enormous wealth officially fell into Du Heng's hands.
Not many people in the business world knew about this, because Du Heng had kept his beloved wife extremely private. However, nothing stays hidden forever, and the public knew that Du Heng had married the girl he had raised and, incidentally, taken over her vast fortune. Most people, however, dared not say anything, because of Du Heng's considerable influence in the business world and the fact that his father had a strong local background; no one dared to offend him.
These days, who would dare to venture out into the business world without some government backing? Although Du Heng had long since broken ties with his father, his father's status still held sway, and the blood ties between father and son could not be severed.
In truth, these things are all very distant to Su Ye. A fortune of hundreds of millions is just a number to her. What's more important to Su Ye is a warm embrace, a safe haven.
Sometimes when she couldn't sleep, she would think about why Du Heng had married her. Was it really, as the outside world speculated, for her wealth? Or perhaps, he had that as his original intention in adopting her?
After thinking about this, she felt a pang of guilt. Perhaps she really shouldn't have assumed Du Heng was like that. Because Du Heng had truly treated her well; from the moment she arrived at the Du family villa, he had never mistreated her.
For a useless little girl like her, even if she had a fortune of hundreds of millions, she probably wouldn't know how to spend it. It would be better to hand everything over to Du Heng and let him take care of everything for her.
Perhaps Su Ye was exhausted from Du Heng's antics, and as she pondered these things, she eventually fell asleep.
Moonlight streamed through the pale blue fabric curtains, falling on the large bed and onto Su Ye's delicate, porcelain-doll-like face.
Du Heng opened his eyes, carefully turned halfway to his side, and quietly gazed at his sleeping wife in his arms.
Thick eyelashes drooped like small fans, casting a captivating crescent-shaped shadow on her jade-like skin. Beneath her beautiful nose, her moist, pink lips were slightly parted, making one want to reach out and take a bite.
Du Heng's Adam's apple bobbed, but he ultimately held back.
The little one must have been really tired tonight; she deserves a better rest.
Du Heng stared for a long time, and was about to lie down again when Su Ye frowned and moved her body. This made Du Heng stop moving, thinking that his movement had disturbed her sleep.
Unexpectedly, after twisting her body, Su Ye reached out and grabbed his hand, hugged him, then moved her mouth and went back to sleep.
Du Heng looked at Su Ye, who was sleeping soundly, with her arms wrapped around him like a little girl hugging a teddy bear, and a satisfied smile couldn't help but appear on his lips.
He lowered his head slightly, letting his lips brush against Su Ye's lips, but dared not linger there.
"Sleep well, my little wife," he murmured softly.
