Since marrying into my family, Meimei hasn't worked. She quickly grew tired of the monotonous life and, at a friend's invitation, went to learn about a direct selling company.

The first time she went, Meimei dressed up carefully. Already beautiful, she looked even more radiant with light makeup. When she came back, she said a bunch of men were surrounding her, making her feel that her charm hadn't diminished and boosting her confidence. Unable to resist her friend's temptation, she bought some products at her second presentation, saying she needed to experience them before she could share them. Although she excitedly told me all this, I remained unmoved. The multiplication and all that... I basically didn't believe it. But as long as she was happy, it was just a waste of time; letting her try it out on her own was fine!

Who knew that after only a few meetings, she actually wanted me to go to a presentation with her. I couldn't refuse, so I reluctantly went.

Upon arriving at the venue, I was greeted at the entrance by the director of Meimei Company. Standing at 180cm tall, with a pair of elegant gold-rimmed glasses, his slender frame exuded a commanding presence. He shook hands with each of the incoming guests.

The presentation began, a series of engaging speeches accompanied by applause and shouts—it sounded rather cheesy. Add to that the testimonials, each one sounding almost magical, and finally, a success story sharing session, making it all seem quite convincing. Then came the awards ceremony, and something unexpected happened: my wife, Meimei, was among the recipients! This surprised me greatly, and I clapped enthusiastically. Not bad! She even won an award! No wonder she was dressed so beautifully tonight; she was planning a surprise. She was radiant on stage. After the awards ceremony, the party officially ended, but the after-party was just about to begin.

Meimei's prize was a free trial of the company's body sculpting course. A string of thoughts raced through my mind, but well, it was a prize! There was no other option, and what's worse, the deadline was at the end of the month, with only a few days left. At my friend's urging, and since I could take her home tonight and avoid the bus, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to enjoy the course today, a chance to relax. I was happy to take it easy and avoid having to socialize with her.

Following instructions, Meimei first went to the beauty salon to wash up. Inside, she took off her outer clothes, including the sexy, semi-transparent thong she'd chosen for her clothes, then changed into a bathrobe, tied her hair up, and put on a paper shower cap. After washing up, she even put on the salon's special paper underwear. I glanced at her—wow! She was practically naked! No wonder she was walking so carefully!

A while later, the beautician arrived, a beautiful woman with long, flowing hair, her shapely figure highlighting her professional demeanor. "Hello, I'm Wanyi, the beautician. I've been teaching beauty courses for over eight years..." After her introduction, Meimei and I gained a little more confidence in the body sculpting course.

Although it was a company-owned beauty room, it was rather simple. The entrance was only slightly covered by a folding sliding door. In order to wait for Meimei, I had to sit on the low sofa opposite the beauty room. However, the end of the sliding door could not be completely sealed, so I could peek into the room through the gap. But because of the angle, I could not see the whole room, only a little bit.
