"Should we go see her?"
"Aren't you afraid she'll get so angry she'll jump up?" Gu Shaoming raised an eyebrow.
“Since she withdrew the lawsuit and is willing to compensate me, she must have thought it through. So what do I have to worry about? Besides, I'm the one with you. Getting angry at her won't make me angry.” Qin Qing said, taking his hand.
Despite saying that, Qin Qing still stayed outside when they arrived at the hospital.
"If she really gets angry and passes out, I'll be the murderer. You go ahead, I'll wait for you here."
Gu Shaoming looked at the flowers and fruit basket he had already bought in his hand, and then at the nurse in the distance.
Qin Qing turned his face towards her. "What are you looking at? She's liked you for so long, and this is her most vulnerable time. You should go and see her. Putting everything else aside, giving her some support is a good thing. Besides, you grew up together, so there's always some bond between you."
"Aren't you jealous?" Gu Shaoming asked back.
"Why would I be jealous?" Qin Qing smiled, then, seeing Gu Shaoming's expression, said, "Okay, it's a lie to say I'm not jealous, but I believe you."
Gu Shaoming's gloomy gaze eased somewhat.
"I'll be out in a bit, wait for me here," Gu Shaoming instructed.
Qin Qing nodded.
When Gu Shaoming entered the ward carrying flowers and fruit, he turned around and saw Qin Qing sitting on a bench in the corridor. When she saw him looking over, Qin Qing waved and smiled.
An uncontrollable smile curved Gu Shaoming's lips as he closed the door.
Yang Xinyi was somewhat surprised to see him arrive, as Gu Shaoming's previous dislike for her was clearly visible on his face.
Gu Shaoming placed the flowers and fruit on the table, then stood some distance away from her.
Are you feeling better?
"Much better," Yang Xinyi nodded.
Where are your uncle and aunt?
"I just went out; I think I was asking the doctor when I could be discharged."
Yang Xinyi leaned against him and laughed, "Sit down, do you think I'm going to eat you?"
Gu Shaoming shook his head.
Yang Xinyi didn't press the matter. "Qin Qing sent you, right? Where is she?"
"Outside the door."
As expected. Yang Xinyi smiled. If Qin Qing hadn't sent Gu Shaoming over, he probably wouldn't have come.
Yang Xinyi looked at the carnations on the bedside table and said, "You two are so thoughtful."
"I regret what happened that day, but feelings can't be forced."
"Now I understand, although it's a bit late, but thankfully it's not too late."
Gu Shaoming nodded. "If there's nothing else, I'll be going now."
Seeing that he was about to leave, Yang Xinyi smiled and said, "Why are you in such a hurry? We've only exchanged a few words."
"She's still waiting outside the door."
Yang Xinyi gave Gu Shaoming a deep look and nodded. "Take care, and I hope you two will stay together for a long time."

When Gu Shaoming left, Qin Qing was sitting there playing on her phone. Hearing footsteps approaching, she looked up, put her phone in her pocket, stood up, and smiled, "So fast!"
"There's nothing to talk about."
As Gu Shaoming approached, Qin Qing naturally linked her arm with his.
"How does she look? Did she get angry when she mentioned me?"
After Gu Shaoming left, Yang Xinyi got out of bed and saw through the glass that Qin Qing was pulling Gu Shaoming further and further away, and their voices gradually disappeared.
The two of them are a perfect match, at least more so than she imagined.
