How are condoms made?

An American was eating at a restaurant in China. When the waiter brought a plate of lobster, the American asked, "What do you do with the leftover lobster shells?"

"We throw them away, of course," the waiter replied.

"No! No! No!" the American shook his head. "In America, we send the leftover shells to factories to make shrimp crackers, which are then sold back to China."

A little while later, the waiter brought a plate of fruit, and the American pointed to a lemon and asked, "What do you do with the leftover lemon peels?" "We throw them away, of course," the waiter said.

"No! No! No!"

When it was time to pay the bill, the American, chewing gum, smiled and asked the waiter, "What do you do with the leftover chewing gum?" "We spit it out, of course," the waiter replied.

The American shook his head, saying smugly, “In America, chewed gum is sent to factories to be made into condoms, and then sold to your China.”

The waiter asked impatiently, “Do you know how we dispose of used condoms in China?”

“We throw them away, of course,” the American said.

The waiter shook his head and said,

“No! No! No! In China, used condoms are sent to factories to be made into chewing gum, and then sold to your America.”
