Spring deepens in the fairy garden, peach blossoms bloom,

each branch ripe for picking.

A sudden rain, a sudden sunshine,

a light chill, a gentle warmth—

this is the season most stirring the heart.

A clever, charming boy is perfect for

companionship; let us steal a moment of leisure together.

Playing witty banter, we share

the same bed and pillow,

bound together like mandarin ducks.
