Hand in hand, arm in arm, they entered the reeds,

shyly and smilingly blowing out the lamp.

A golden needle pierced the peach blossom's stamen;

she dared not utter a sound, her brow furrowing in secret.

Someone previously said it was from *The Romance of the Western Chamber*, but I'm not sure if that's correct.
