Two intellectuals, both divorced and remarried, on their wedding night, the woman, in a charming manner, posed the first line of a couplet: "The bombardment of Kinmen terrifies the beautiful woman." The man, without hesitation, replied: "With two bombs and one nuclear weapon, Germany and Japan surrender." The horizontal scroll read: "World War II."
