"Brother Fei, you tricked me." I stared at the tall, thin man opposite me and said.

"Well, well, plans don't always go as expected, so as an apology, I invited you here. Please forgive me this time, Lao Lu," Brother Fei said with a forced smile.

Brother Fei's real name is Liang Yinfei. He's a friend of mine from university, working in foreign trade. However, his foreign language skills are only so-so, so we've been friends for a long time.

I, Lu Di, am a second-rate interpreter. Although I don't dare to take on large conference jobs, I can handle foreign trade negotiation interpreting like Brother Fei. There's another reason: Brother Fei's business isn't exactly clean. Therefore, he needs someone he can trust to act as his interpreter.

"Don't talk like you're some kind of drug addict. It's just some trouble in Thailand again, isn't it?" I waved my hand.
"Tell me how you're going to make it up to me tonight. You've really messed me up with just one phone call."

"Haha, so as compensation, I'm going to treat you to something really novel. I've seen it a couple of times already, and I bet you'll like it." Fei said.

"You're not talking about those, are you?" I pouted.

Through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the private room facing the dance floor, you could see what was happening on stage. It was certainly enough to get your blood pumping. Three women with decent postures were pole dancing, taking off their clothes as they danced until they were only wearing thongs.

But to be honest, I don't really like striptease. I don't like the overly loud music, the chaotic DJ-style sounds, or
the dazzling lighting effects.
