Chapter Thirty-Four: Reunion After
reading the text message, Li Yun didn't understand, but she didn't think much of it; there were still many things to handle regarding her grandmother's funeral.
After her second aunt left, her father pulled her mother aside, seemingly explaining something. At first, her mother seemed fine, but as time passed, her expression grew increasingly
grim, and she soon started arguing with her father. Her aunt, who had been busy with other things, saw this and went over.
Li Yun didn't know what they were talking about, but thinking that her aunt was there, even if her parents didn't say anything, her aunt would probably tell her secretly, so she focused on her work.
A while later, Li Yun suddenly saw her mother running out of the mourning hall crying, and her father hurriedly chased after her. Her aunt quickly walked to her side and gave her a wink,

It was only then that her second aunt appeared in the mourning hall with a girl. The girl
looked about seventeen or eighteen years old, with fair skin and a tall figure. She resembled her second aunt quite a bit and was very pretty, but her every move gave Li Yun
a sense of unbridled freedom. The second aunt whispered something in the girl's ear, and after a long tug-of-war, the girl reluctantly went to her grandmother's altar,
burned a few sticks of incense, and gave a perfunctory kowtow. She then turned back to her second aunt, who said something else. The girl turned to look at her father,

look on the girl's face.
The second aunt seemed to sense the tension between the father and girl, and quickly pulled the girl aside, then pointed to Li Yun and her mother, clearly introducing
them.
The girl turned and saw Li Yun, a look of disbelief suddenly appearing on her face. She then stared intently at Li Yun, making him feel uneasy. He
excused himself to his mother and left the mourning hall to use the restroom.
As he walked out, he caught a glimpse of his second aunt leading the girl towards his mother, presumably to introduce them… so he quickly ran to the restroom.
Li Yun knew that the girl was likely his half-sister, but his first impression of her was really bad! She was indeed very beautiful,
but she gave off a very ill-mannered vibe. The way she was staring at him made Li Yun feel extremely uncomfortable. Therefore, Li Yun deliberately lingered in the restroom
for a while. Thinking that his aunt should have left with his older sister, he finally pushed open the restroom door.
But as soon as he stepped out, he found his sister leaning against the men's restroom door, staring at him with a half-smile. With a smirk, she said, "Little brother, can't take it anymore, can
you?!"
Li Yun's mind instantly clicked. He looked like he'd seen a ghost, pointing at her and stammering,
"It...it's...it's you...you're not wearing makeup today!"
