Sister's Room - Chapter 5: The Evolution of Intimate Relationships

After finishing our "last supper" at the Wang family's house, we followed Wang Song back to the living room.
Naturally, we were separated from the Wang family. Wang Song and his wife sat in the main seats as a matter of course, while we sat on the sofa on the right with the eldest sister.
Wang Dewei originally wanted to sit next to the eldest sister, but I beat him to it. Helpless, he had to sit next to Li Meihua. Seeing his somewhat bewildered and confused expression, looking pitiful and helpless, I don't know why, but I didn't feel sorry for him at all. Instead, I felt a sense of pleasure.
Wang Qiaoyun sat at a distance on a single sofa, her right leg dangling over the armrest, swinging back and forth. She appeared completely indifferent to our conversation, acting like a detached outsider. But I knew very well that she was listening intently.
After everyone was seated, the eldest sister apologized to Mr. and Mrs. Wang Song, then looked at Wang Dewei and said slowly, "Actually, I had already mentioned this matter to the chairman, but he thought it was a matter between the two of us and should be resolved by us. However, although it is only a matter between the two of us, it also concerns both our families, so I would like to ask the two elders to attend. I am very sorry to trouble the chairman and his wife."
As soon as his older sister finished speaking, Wang Dewei said anxiously, "Yaling, what's wrong with you? Why have you become so distant from us? You're even calling Mom and Dad 'Chairman and Madam'! You've been acting strangely ever since you came in. Can't we talk about this in private?"

Upon hearing this, everyone except me, my second sister, and Wang Song gasped in surprise. Even Wang Qiaoyun took her feet off the armrest and stared intently at my eldest sister.
Li Meihua, her eyebrows raised in a sharp voice, said, "What did you say?"
The second sister sneered, "Don't you understand? It means my eldest sister isn't marrying your son anymore; in layman's terms, it's called breaking off the engagement."
Li Meihua had probably never been talked back to like this before, especially by a junior. She glared at her second sister, about to retort, when Wang Dewei excitedly asked his eldest sister, "Why? We're getting engaged in May, and the invitations have already been sent out. Why all of a sudden? Yaling, have you heard some gossip?" It seemed this young master knew he had plenty of room for criticism and immediately thought of this.
The older sister sighed and softened her tone, saying, "Don't take it to heart. Nobody said anything to me. Besides, haven't I heard enough rumors about you? I've known for a long time that you have a reputation for being a womanizer, but since we started dating, I've realized that you've changed. Otherwise, I wouldn't have accepted you."
I disagree with that. A gentleman can be deceived by his principles. My eldest sister was completely misled by Wang Dewei. I have witnesses and evidence to prove this. The physical evidence is in my arms, and the witnesses are my second sister, you, and all of you reading this.
"Why is that?" Wang Dewei asked immediately after hearing his older sister's question.
The older sister said, "The problem lies with me. I realized that my mindset was wrong when I first decided to date you, and now I just want to correct it."
Wang Dewei looked at his older sister and said, "Yaling, don't say that. It's normal for you to be attracted to my family's wealth. I don't mind at all. As long as we truly love each other later, how we started doesn't matter at all."
No way! He actually thought his older sister was after his family background and status? Look at Li Meihua and Wang Qiaoyun's expressions of complete entitlement, and you can tell they thought the same thing. These people's thinking is really low-level.
However, the eldest sister's statement was bound to cause misunderstandings among them. But if it wasn't because of Wang Dewei's infidelity, then why did the eldest sister break off the engagement with Wang Dewei? My curiosity was piqued as well.
“That’s where I went wrong.” The older sister sighed and said softly, “Before I accepted you, I should have known that our ways of thinking were like two parallel lines, never intersecting. With such a huge gap in our thinking, how could we be happy? Dewei, I should have told you about my family situation!”
Wang Dewei was a little confused when his older sister suddenly steered the conversation to this point. He just nodded blankly and said, "We've talked about it! I know you have to take care of your two younger siblings. Didn't I promise you a long time ago that I would take care of them too?"
Wang Dewei turned to look at my second sister and me, and said with feigned admiration, "Look how tall and handsome Ah Jun is, with an extraordinary temperament. My eldest sister glared at my second sister and me with a smile and scolded us, "I'm talking about serious matters, stop fooling around."
Wang Song smiled and smoothed things over, saying, "Alright, alright. Ya Ling! Keep going, I also want to know where you went wrong."
The eldest sister took a deep breath and calmed herself down before apologizing to Wang Song, "I'm sorry, Chairman, you must have found this amusing. Actually, I don't need to say anything more. Someone like me is really not worthy of a wealthy family like yours. Someone as talented as Dewei should be able to easily find a daughter who is a good match for your family."

The eldest sister shook her head and said, "I think you may have misunderstood. I am not ashamed of this, and I will not take it to heart even if you look down on me. The elder sister said, "No, madam, please don't misunderstand. I didn't mean to be sarcastic. I'm genuinely grateful to you because of you, which gave me the opportunity to reflect on my wrong mindset."
After catching her breath, Li Meihua said, "Actually, considering your background, you are already quite good. If you can study hard according to the courses I have arranged for you, I believe you will not bring shame to our Wang family."
什么话？谁丢谁的脸？妈的，你那个随便跟人乱搞的儿子才丢人咧！我跟二姐都怒形于色，我刚刚想要反唇相讥，没想到大姐接下来的话却让我听的很爽。
大姐不卑不亢的说：“夫人，你跟王经理都搞错了同一件事，第一，我对我的出身和现况很满意，并没有任何想改变的意思。第二，我觉得每天花两个小时去学什么插花啦！仪态啦！整天在那边串门子，一堆女人窝在一起聊别人的是非，那根本就是在浪费生命，我还不如回家睡觉。”
“你！”李美华气的脸都白了：“要不是德伟喜欢你，我根本就不会容许你这种没有家教的女人踏进我的家门半步，我告诉你，现在请帖已经都发出去了，你嫁也得嫁，不嫁也得嫁，结完婚我会马上让你们离婚，总而言之，我绝对不许你践踏我们王家的尊严，我们丢不起这个脸。”
我啪的一巴掌拍在茶几上，怒骂说：“死老太婆，你别太过分了，这种话你也说得出口，你把我们当什么？”
李美华气的满脸煞白，恶狠狠骂我说：“哪来的那么没有礼貌的小鬼，真没家教。”
二姐拉了我一下，示意我稍安勿躁，然后冷冷的对李美华说：“尊严这种东西，并不是只有你们这些住在天母高级住宅区的人才有的专利，我们也有我们的尊严，很抱歉，王夫人，你的意见我们无法接受，大姐，你怎么说？”
大姐点点头站起来说：“事情就是这样了，我原本希望大家能平和一点，没想到竟然会弄成这个样子，我真的觉得很遗憾。董事长，夫人，经理，明天我会去公司办离职，谢谢您这么多年来的照顾，我们先告辞了。”我们跟着大姐一起站起来准备离开。
这时候王德伟却歇斯底里起来了，他紧抓着大姐的手说：“不！雅玲！我不让你走，你不要离开我。”
大姐皱起眉头，刚想说话的时候。一直以来只是听，却不发一语的王崧却在这个时候说话了，他沉稳的说：“雅玲，你们先等一下好吗？”
王崧开了口，大姐当然要给他一点面子，于是又坐下来说：“董事长还有什么吩咐？”
王崧苦笑说：“你已要离职了，就别再叫我董事长了。如果你不嫌弃的话，就叫我一声伯父吧！”
王德伟大叫着说：“爸！你不能让雅玲走，我爱她，我要娶她。”
王崧突然大声说：“住口，你丢的脸还不够多啊！你那种态度叫做爱吗？娶她！你配吗？”
李美华尖声插嘴说：“你为什么要骂儿子？儿子有哪里配不上她，以我们王家……”
“王家如何？16年前我王崧也不过是个在违章工厂里做模子的黑手工人，从没有以为自己有什么了不起。”王崧怒喝着。
我吓了一跳，没想到看起来慈祥的王崧发起脾气来，竟然会那么吓人。不过李美华也不是什么省油的灯，她也骂说：“就算你姓王的不在乎，我们李家也丢不起这个人，总之，如果他们敢毁婚，我就要他们吃不完兜着走。”
“你……”王崧也气的说不出话来了。
二姐冷冷的说：“老太婆，你有没有一点法律常识啊！别说我大姐还没有跟你儿子订婚，就算已经订了婚，在法律上也没有什么约束力。货不对盘，七天之内还可以包退货呢，何况连下定都还没有，你能对我们怎么样？”
哇靠！二姐也太直接了吧！叫人家老太婆？呵呵……跟我有拼啊！我正在想李美华应该要气死了，没想到她不怒反笑的说：“跟我讲法律？好！我就跟你讲法律，老刘，把东西拿来。”
门外老刘应了一声，我还在想要拿什么东西来时，却看到老刘拿着一袋文件进来，旁边的一个小的透明袋子里，放着我跟二姐都很熟悉的东西，那三个窃听器。
原来早就被找出来了，难怪听了几天都没有动静。
只见李美华得意的说：“几天前，我们在做安全检查的时候，发现了这三个窃听器，经过我们的追查之后，发现煮饭的陈妈居然被人买通了，我把窃听器送去鉴定，上面的指纹也确定了，二小姐，你应该知道是谁吧？”
二姐点点头冷笑说：“不但知道，还很熟呢，就是我！”
大姐惊讶的看着二姐说：“雅雯？”
二姐对大姐说：“大姐，你别生气，我们也只是关心你而已，如果我早知道问题是在这个老太婆心理变态的话，我们也不用花那么大的功夫了。”
也许是自以为胜卷在握了，李美华并没有计较二姐骂她是变态老太婆，还笑着说：“私闯民宅和窥探隐私，应该可以让你坐个几年牢吧！不过别担心，如果雅玲能配合得好，什么话都好说。”
这个老太婆，还真以为自己赢定了啊！居然敢威胁大姐？什么年代了，还搞这么老套的花样，不嫌落伍了一点。
只是对大姐来说，这招好像很有用，只见大姐的表情变的很沉重，一下子就失去了刚才的从容。
王崧连忙说：“你这是在干什么？别胡闹！”
李美华斥责着王崧说：“我的事不用你管，要不是因为你没有用，我犯的着这么做吗？你不管儿子，我来管。”
“你！”王崧气的满脸通红，好像高血压就要发作似的。
她是有预谋的吗？我不自禁的泛起这个疑问，应该不可能吧！她又不知道大姐今天来事要跟王德伟解除婚约的事。那她为什么一直收着窃听器？还送去鉴定指纹？她想干什么？难道她一开始知道是我们偷进她家之后，她就想拿这个来要胁大姐？不会吧！这个老太婆未免也太阴险了。
幸好，你有你的王牌，我们也有我们的，虽然很不想用，不过事已至此那也没有办法了。
我跟二姐对看一下，取得了一个默契，二姐提高了一下音量，说：“王董事长，今天承蒙您的招待，我们姐弟无以为报，不如就请您看一下我们精心准备的余兴节目。阿俊！拿出来。”
“是！”我先大声答应着，然后跟满脸疑惑的大姐低声说：“大姐！等一下看到什么都别生气，不值得的。”
大姐奇怪的看着我，我不自主的感到一阵心虚，我真得很怕这一亮王牌，大姐会不会受不了。
在大家的瞩目下，为了掩饰自己的不安，我刻意夸张的摆出大卫。考柏菲的姿势说：“请借用一下电视和录影机，我将为您带来最精采的世纪表演秀，18禁的喔！”从怀中取出那卷带子，放入录影机中开始放映。
在影带开始放映的时候，我就已退到大姐身边，紧紧把大姐的手握在手中，我知道这卷带子对大姐的冲击不会小于在场的任何人。
当画面中出现更衣室的画面时，所有人都发出了一生惊呼，王德伟的脸色一下子就变成惨白。当然大姐也是一脸苍白，尤其是当她发现那个女子是林佳琬的时候，在她眼中透露出无法置信的讶异，她像在呻吟似的说：“怎么会是小琬？怎么会？”
大姐被我紧握的手，一下子变的冰冷了起来，我连忙以用更大的力气握着大姐手的动作，来表达我对大姐的支持。
影带进行不到5分钟，王德伟已经受不了了，他苍白的脸，怪叫一声：“不要看了！不要看了！”的就抢上前去把电视关掉，将影带退出来后，就想把带子拉坏。
这下糟了，带子只有一卷，万一被他毁掉了，那不是死无对证？我刚想采取行动来保护带子，没想到二姐光用一句话就保全了带子。
只听二姐冷冷的说道：“请便吧！那本来就是要送你的礼物，母带还在我家呢！”一听到二姐用冰冷的声音说出来的话，王德伟好像被一盆冷水浇头似的停下恍如疯狂的举动，不敢置信的看着二姐，然后就跟只斗败的公鸡一样慢慢的颓倒在地。
二姐利害啊！我在心里赞叹着二姐的机智，不过二姐的表演还没有结束。
二姐举止自若的转身对着一脸惨白的李美华说：“比起我们的行为，令公子自然是光彩的多了，我打算引荐给亲朋好友一起观摩学习，只是我的那些朋友都是记者，好奇心重又留不住话，如果有人因为见识到令公子的神勇，心生仰慕之下而公诸同好，就不是我能控制了。”
二姐说完，就作态转身准备离去说：“大姐，阿俊，走了！我想我快到法院去报到了，为我饯别一下。”
我跟二姐配合多年，哪会不知道二姐的意思，高声答应一声，拉着大姐就往外走。我们这一作势离开，李美华马上开口想要说什么，可是却一下子改不了口就这样僵住了，看到她张开口却不知道该怎么说的样子，看起来很可笑。
“请等一下！”这个时候当然还是王崧来收拾残局了。
我跟二姐暗自松了一口气，幸好王崧有开口挽留，要不然我们还真不知道该怎么办呢。
我们故做从容的回头，王崧将窃听器和文件从李美华手上接过来，李美华的嘴角动了一下，但终究还是没有开口，只是脸色铁青的默默任由王崧拿走。
王崧表情凝重的将东西交给二姐说：“请你原谅我妻子的胡闹，这东西请先收下，改天我再登门谢罪。”
二姐并没有马上把东西收下来，只是看着王崧说：“那我大姐是不是也不用再配合‘你们’王家了呢？”
王崧苦笑着说：“这是当然的。”然后他对着一脸苍白的大姐说：“我早知道自己的儿子不成器，却没想到他居然会不成器到这种程度。雅玲，请你原谅一个父亲的自私啊！只是我没想到，原本只是想要有个好媳妇，到后来却反而失去了一个好职员！”
大姐终于流下了眼泪，她哽咽着刚叫了声：“董事长……”就再也说不出话来。
王崧拍拍大姐的肩膀，叹口气摇摇头没有说话。
原本像是啥事不管的王巧云，这时却出人意料之外的跳起来，以一派轻松的语气的说：“好了，一衫落着‘日本时代剧用语，意思是事情定了’胜负已定，走吧！我送你们出去。老爸！这里没我的事了，我要先走了。”说完话也不管厅中其他人，自顾自的带头先走了。
大姐转身对着王崧深深的鞠了个躬，说：“谢谢董事长这么多年来的照顾，雅玲先走了，董事长再见。”王崧没有说话，只沉默的点点头，就算是道别了，但他脸上沉重的表情却也说明了他心中的不舍和心情的恶劣。
没有在看厅中着其他人一眼，我们迫不及待的离开这个令人感到窒息的地方。出了门口，王巧云正站在门外等我们，看到我们出来，这才跟着我们一起走向大门。
我们一路保持着沉默的走着，走了一会，一直没有回头的王巧云，却突然开口说：“你们根本没有什么母带吧！”说话的语气很平淡，话里的内容却给我有种石破天惊的震撼感。
这位王小姐还真是让人惊讶啊！整晚一声不吭的，一开口就让我和二姐吓出一身冷汗。
王巧云这时才回头笑着看着二姐说：“别惊讶！我可不像我那个草包的妈和草包大哥一样，光看你小弟的表情我就猜的出来了。”原来马脚还是我露出来的啊，真丢脸！
二姐看到事情被拆穿了，却没有什么特别的惊讶，反而冷静的说：“你既然已经猜出来了，为什么刚才不说，现在才说？”
王巧云耸耸肩说：“我拆穿你们干什么？关我屁事啊！不过你还真的很有种啊！敢这样跟我妈这样说话的，你还是第一个。听说你是个记者？”
二姐说：“是又如何！”
王巧云轻佻的说：“以你的胆识干记者太可惜了，老实说，我很欣赏你，怎么样？要不要跟着我干？我们两个一定能闯出一番事业的。”
我有点瞠目结舌的感觉，这个王巧云怎么好像在拉帮结派的样子，看来传言说她曾经混过帮派，应该不是空穴来风的。
二姐也感到又惊讶又好笑的说：“谢谢你的欣赏，不过我这个记者做的还蛮开心的，暂时没有想转业。”
王巧云耸耸肩膀说：“没关系，等你有兴趣的时候再通知我，反正你也知道我的店在哪里，欢迎你随时来。”
然后她又转头看着显然对刚才的事还无法释怀的大姐，脸上的表情也变的有点郑重，向大姐鞠躬说：“原本我以为你也是因为贪图我家的财富地位，才会想嫁给我那个草包大哥，现在我知道我错了，我为了我先前对你的误解和态度向你道歉。”
大姐连忙说：“请别这样子，王小姐，我还要谢谢你没有揭穿我妹妹，让我们能和平的解决婚约的事情。”
王巧云看着我跟二姐笑着说：“真羡慕你有这么好的弟弟妹妹，其实是他们救了你，要不然你一定会后悔嫁进王家来。”
听到她这么说，我好奇的问说：“为什么？”
就只是这么简单的问话，却让王巧云脸色一沉，沉默不语的往大门走，并没有回答我。我还以为自己是哪里得罪她了呢。
眼看就要到巷口了，沉默了好久的王巧云到这时候才说：“王家是个粪坑，一个又脏又臭的粪坑，我现在虽然已经爬出来了，但这身屎臭味却怎么也洗不干净啊！”
我们讶异的看着她，她却没有再说什么了，等到我们上了计程车时，她才又对着大姐说：“你真的很幸运，要好好珍惜你的运气啊！”
抱着满腔的疑惑，我们离开了王家。虽然王巧云的话让我很在意，但总算把大姐的婚约解决掉了，也算是功德圆满吧！
当我这么想的时候，转头却看到了面白如雪的大姐，我这才想起来，公开那卷录影带的后遗症，现在才刚要开始发威啊！

我才想，应该要回家了吧！没想到大姐却交代司机说：“请到文化大学。”
文化大学？我的理想学校？大姐到那里干嘛？不过看着大姐的脸色，我跟二姐都不敢说什么，只好跟着上山了。
文化大学是台北少数几个可以看见整个台北夜景的极佳观景位置，现在7点多，正是台北夜景最美的时候，大姐坐在路边的防撞路挡上，手支着下颏，默默的看着台北周日的灯海。
台北真的很美啊！闪耀的灯海连绵不绝的街道，昏黄的是路灯，亮黄移动的是车灯，白色的亮光是住宅，每一个灯光就是一个窗口，一个家庭。每一个移动的车灯，就是一个欲归家的兴奋。家里有什么人在等门？今天晚餐要吃什么？每个灯光都是一个期待，都是一个故事啊！
我原本担心大姐的心情，也在不知不觉中被这片美丽的景色给放松了。我自然的坐在大姐身边，大姐还是静静的看着夜景，没有理我。二姐看我坐在大姐身边，大姐也没有什么不好的反应，也就跟着在我的身边坐了下来。
虽然路挡不算大，但好在我们三人都不算太胖，勉强坐的下。只是周围的情侣都是双双对对的，只有我们是三人行，难免引人侧目，尤其是大姐二姐都是那么美丽漂亮，夹在她们中间的我，当然引来很多忌妒的眼光。
不过我们并没有放在心上，只是全心全意的感受着眼前美景所带给我们的心灵飨宴。在这片宛如仙境的美景前，还要计较别人的眼光，未免太煞风景了。
喔！我明白大姐为什么要来看夜景了，登高望远，人在高处时心胸总会更开阔些，尤其是我们明白，在这片灯海里的每个人，都会有自己的烦恼，比起这片广大，自己的不如意又算什么？
我不知道大姐对王德伟到底有没有感情，但我知道大姐跟林佳琬的感情可是很好的，亲眼看到好友的背叛，应该才是最让大姐伤心的吧！
老实说，刚才在王家的经历，真的让我很不愉快，虽然后来总算是把事情给和平解决了，但心中那股嫌恶感，却让我很不舒服，甚至感到恶心。尤其是李美华，真没想到一个外表如此美丽的人，内心居然会这么丑陋。
虽然我早就知道大多数的人都是表里不一的，但第一次遇到反差如此巨大的人，还是让我有种“碎了水晶，破了佳玉”的遗憾感。
不过紧盯着眼前的灯海，我心中的郁闷也渐渐的得到纾解了。
左右看着我的两个姐姐，心里想着上一次我们像这样静静着坐着，是什么时候的事了？好像是二姐高中初恋失败的时候吧！
那一次我们也是像这样的坐在家里的大阳台上，没人说话，只是一起静静的看着远方，直到二姐哭出来，我们才抱着她安慰着。
那个时候我们左邻右舍都还是平房居多，最近的大楼也要到公园那里才有。
只是现在大家都改建起来了，我家阳台上的景观就没有以前那么好看了。
美丽的景色真的会让人忘记了时间的流逝，随着夜色渐深，周边的人群也越来越少，灯海也渐渐稀疏了。
坐了那么久，二姐开始不耐烦了，她悄悄的在我耳边说道：“我先去买点吃的，你在这边陪大姐，我很快就回来。”我点点头表示知道，二姐就先起身离开了。
二姐离开以后，我看着大姐绝美的侧脸，心里想着难怪王德伟不肯让大姐离开，那个林佳琬虽然也很漂亮，却缺少了大姐这种清雅脱俗的气质。
大姐这种气质是绝无仅有的，至少我从来没有在其他人身上发现跟大姐相似的气质，这种气质会让跟大姐在一起的人感到很舒服，心情也会变得很平静。
就在我看大姐看的出神，一直看着山下没动过的大姐，突然说：“你们早就知道了？”
“啥？”还在出神的我，突然听到大姐的问话，一下子反应不过来，只呆呆的看着大姐。
“德伟跟佳琬的事情，你们是什么时候知道的？”大姐用她那宛如天上星星一样明亮的眼眸看着我，问着我最不想回答的问题。
不过面对大姐的眼睛，我根本起不了反抗的意思，只好无奈的说：“就是礼拜六啰！我跟二姐去舞厅偷拍的。”
“礼拜六？就是昨天？可是你们却瞒着我……”大姐的眼眸中泛起了一片水雾，语气也变的哀凄。
