Chapter 002 Introducing My Wife

Li Yun and Li Li exchanged a glance, thinking about how Xu Rong had secretly watched them clean the room earlier. They understood why Xu Rong had spoken in that tone.

Thinking this, the two women exchanged another glance, then smiled, their hearts filled with a mixture of anger and joy. They sat quietly by Xu Rong's bed, letting time pass silently.

Because there were few male students in the medical school, the few male students were separated and assigned by the school.

Xu Rong and a second-year male student named Zhang Yunbin were placed in an unused room next to the medical school's experimental department.

The room was quite large, about fifty square meters, and fully furnished with all kinds of practical furniture. It even had air conditioning and a refrigerator, things rarely found in university dormitories.

Zhang Yunbin's room was very clean, and Xu Rong's room was also quite clean, although after setting up the new bedding and toiletries, it still needed some tidying up.

Besides, Li Yun and Li Li, the main cleaners, are both clean girls, so they put in a lot of effort.

Xu Rong finally spoke, breaking the awkward atmosphere.

Li Yun and Li Li worked at the Yudu Medical College Affiliated Hospital, not far from the school; they were nurses in the same department.

Hearing Xu Rong's words, Li Yun and Li Li smiled at each other.

"Xiao Rong! You know what? You've changed so much lately,"

Li Yun remarked, a comment that seemed to resonate deeply with Li Li beside her.

A month ago, Xu Rong was a boy with severe autism. He rarely spoke to his family and preferred to stay in his room all year, reading his favorite medical books.

Later, for reasons unknown, about a month ago, Xu Rong began to change. She became more talkative, more willing to communicate with her family, and often went out to shop. She

even proactively suggested going to medical school.

These changes truly pleased Xu Rong's family.

"Isn't my change good?"

Xu Rong asked her two sisters-in-law with a smile.

"Of course it's good! If you had been like this earlier, your aunts would have shed fewer tears for you."

Besides her two sisters-in-law, Xu Rong's family included two half-sisters, her biological mother, and three aunts.

Xu Rong's biological mother and the three aunts were all wives of her father, Xu Zhiyuan.

In this world, it wasn't uncommon for a grown man to have four wives.

Xu Rong was the youngest child in the family and had always been favored by her aunts.

“Although this is your first time traveling so far, your sister-in-law Li and I both work at a nearby hospital. Besides, your two older sisters often stop in Yudu City on their flights, so with the four of us taking care of you, your aunts at home can rest assured.”

Xu Rong’s two half-sisters are flight attendants on the same airline and in the same crew. One of their flights stops in Yudu City.

As Li Yun spoke, she lowered her head and gently kissed Xu Rong’s forehead.

“Let’s go…”

After Li Yun finished kissing Xu Rong’s forehead, Li Li came over and kissed her as well.

“Study hard…”

After giving her some advice, Xu Rong’s two sisters-in-law left.

Xu Rong reached out and touched her forehead where her two sisters-in-law had kissed her. The faint lipstick marks and the subtle fragrance made Xu Rong’s mind wander.
