The comedy between two pairs of fathers and daughters is over.

Old Zhang returned to the guesthouse excitedly, carrying several bags of things. His roommate, Old Li, peeling peanuts, teased him, "Hey Old Zhang, did you buy some gifts for your lover?"

Old Li chuckled, "What lover? I bought them for my daughter."

Although Old Zhang and Old Li worked at the same company, they didn't know each other because they were in different departments. Recently, their company set up an office in the city, and they were both assigned as advance team members. Since their dormitories hadn't been arranged yet, they were temporarily staying at the guesthouse.

Within just a few days, they had become good friends. This was understandable; they had so much in common. Both were divorced and had daughters who had started working to support their families after graduating from junior high school two years ago.

After putting his things away, Old Li took Old Zhang's wine glass, took a hearty sip, peeled a peanut, and ate it while saying, "My daughter works in a factory in the city, but unfortunately I don't know the name of the factory, otherwise I would have delivered it to her directly."
