Chapter 59 The Examiner Falls into the Beautiful Trap

It is said that Niu Sengyu, dragging the fake Ouyang Fengguang and the exam papers, hurriedly rushed to Niu Sengru and Li Zongmin to claim credit.

"You did a good job, a good job!" Looking at the bundles of exam papers, Niu Sengru patted Niu Sengyu's shoulder and gave him a thumbs-up

, praising him loudly. "It's good that we got the exam papers! We're going to make a fortune! We're going to turn things around! 'Li Party,' you've always oppressed us. Once we turn things around, you'll know how to write a dead child! Humph, just you wait and see!" Thinking of the 'Li Party' members' usual fierce and menacing appearance, Li Zongmin felt a surge of resentment.

"Good, good, good! Tomorrow, I'll have the brothers go to various hotels to sell the exam papers." Niu Sengru was beaming with pride, stroking his goatee and laughing heartily.

"Tonight, we'll slaughter a pig and roast a lamb to reward the brothers for their dance. Let everyone eat meat to their heart's content and drink wine from large bowls! In addition, Niu Sengru will be rewarded with 200 taels of silver, plus a sheep's head and a beautiful woman!" Niu Sengru announced.

Rewarding soldiers with a sheep's head and a beautiful woman was the highest honor an officer could bestow upon them at the time, a sign of great merit.

"Wow, I'm so capable!" Niu Sengyu exclaimed, overjoyed at the honor.

The soldiers hurriedly polished their shoes.

"Our captain is great!"

"Our captain is awesome!"

Niu Sengyu's men were all sycophants and shoe-shining lackeys!

The next morning, after a hearty meal and drinks, Niu Sengyu, Li Zongqiang, and others strode confidently to the Ruyilou Hotel and other major hotels to sell exam papers, aiming to attract customers and make a fortune from the exam papers.

"Support the 'Niu Party' for becoming the top scholar!"

"Support the 'Niu Party' for sending out exam papers!"

Niu Sengyu, Li Zongqiang, and others set up banners and slogans along the streets and alleys of the capital, organizing cheerleading squads to loudly promote the cause.

Many candidates, seeing the banners and slogans displayed by Niu Sengyu, Li Zongqiang, and others, and hearing the cheerleaders' loud praise, immediately formed a large crowd. "Wow

, there are Beijing exam papers for sale! This is truly heaven-sent! I'm going to become the top scholar! I'm going to bring glory to my ancestors!" Lin Mingxing, hearing the cheerleaders' loud announcement, shouted excitedly and hurriedly squeezed into the crowd to see for himself.

"How much is one?" Lin Mingxing asked.

"Fifty taels of silver per paper."

"I'll take one." Fifty taels of silver for one Beijing exam paper—what a bargain! Lin Mingxing thought to himself, and immediately took out fifty taels of silver to buy one exam paper, happily dancing with joy.

"I'll take one too." Buying a copy of the imperial examination paper for 50 taels of silver would mean no need to study the classics—what a bargain! Ouyang Qing thought to himself, and immediately pulled out 50 taels of silver, happily buying a paper. He chuckled, "Buying a paper is much more practical than studying diligently; it's easier and more direct."

"Li Wencong, why don't you buy a paper too?" Ouyang Qing returned to his dormitory, took out the paper, and waved it loudly at Li Wencong, who was diligently studying.

"I'm not buying one," Li Wencong shook his head.

"What a blockhead! All he knows is to study by rote, what good is that! Bookworms like Li Wencong are so old-fashioned and out of touch with the times!" Ouyang Qing sighed and shook his head in pity at Li Wencong's pathetic state.

Seeing Ouyang Qing, Lin Mingxing, and others buy the exam papers, many candidates hurriedly pulled out their silver to buy them as if following a trend… While

the candidates happily handed over their silver, Niu Sengyu, Li Zongqiang, and others were overjoyed to collect it. In just one day, they sold over 2,000 fake exam papers, earning over 100,000 taels of silver! They were ecstatic.

Looking at the gleaming silver, Niu Sengyu stroked his goatee and nodded repeatedly.

The “Niu Party” made a fortune from the exam papers, and the “Li Party” was not to be outdone. The key figures of the “Li Party,” the eunuchs Li Deyu and Li Shen, also ordered their henchmen to transport the stolen fake exam papers to various large hotels near the capital and sell them to candidates, also making a fortune from the exam papers. Because of their effective propaganda and lobbying efforts, they sold over 1,000 exam papers that day, earning a total of over 50,000 taels of silver. They made a fortune, much to the delight of the eunuchs Li Deyu and Li Shen!

Leaving aside the "Niu Party" making a fortune off the exam papers in the capital with impunity, let's talk about those candidates who didn't bother preparing for the exam but instead sought shortcuts. They unwittingly fell into the ruthless trap woven by the "Niu" and "Li" parties, wasting 50 taels of their parents' hard-earned money on fake exam papers. Not only did they lose money, but they also lost a golden opportunity to pass the exam—a double loss! But that's a story for another time.

The two factions, the "Niu Party" and the "Niu Clique," were racking their brains in the battle for the imperial examination. Under the guidance of their respective advisors, they were unscrupulously profiting from the exam papers, not only amassing fortunes and securing an initial victory in the competition, but also gaining the support of a large number of candidates. This solidified their political foundation for cultivating relationships with the newly rich!

However, they knew in their hearts that selling exam papers alone was far from enough to determine who would ultimately win this battle and who would have the last laugh.

"Buy the examiners!" Li Zongmin, one of the core members of the "Niu Party" and the deputy head of its advisory group, suddenly exclaimed, shaking his bald head.

"Lord Li, what a brilliant plan! This move is even more ruthless and ingenious than selling exam papers!" The other members of the "Niu Party's" advisory group echoed loudly, quickly flattering him.

"Bribing the examiners? Ah, what a brilliant scheme! It can be said that the examiners are the ones who decide the fate of the candidates in the examination hall. Whoever wins the examiners' support wins the initiative in this imperial examination! Excellent! Li Zongmin, how did you come up with such a cunning plan? Truly, an old fox is as shrewd as a fox!" The shrewd and calculating eunuch Niu Sengru, a key figure in the "Niu Party," thought for a moment and then loudly applauded Li Zongmin's scheme.

"Does anyone have any objections to Lord Li Zongmin's scheme?" To win hearts and minds, Niu Sengru deliberately sought everyone's opinion.

"No objections! We unanimously agree to Lord Li Zongmin's scheme!" The other members of the "Niu Party" quickly echoed.

Without further ado, after agreeing on the work plan, the "Niu Party" immediately put it into action.

Li Dena, Li Zongmin's cousin, was fortunate enough to be appointed by the Emperor as one of the deputy examiners for the imperial examination. Li Zongmin was a shrewd man. Upon hearing the news, he immediately brought a large gift to Li Dena's residence, hoping to win him over.

After some pleasantries, Li Zongmin got straight to the point, feigning a pitiful expression, saying, "Uncle, you're fortunate enough to be the deputy examiner for the imperial examination this year. Please help me! Our 'Niu Party' is completely dependent on you this time."

"What are you saying, nephew? We're family, no need for formalities. Your 'Niu Party's' affairs are my affairs. Don't worry, you can trust me to handle things." The "Niu Party" was one of the two major political parties at the time, and Li Dena was already proud of Li Zongmin's important position within it. Today, Li Zongmin had actually "condescended" to come to his residence to ask for his help, which made him extremely proud.

"Then I'll trouble you, Uncle."

"No need to be so polite! You've come all this way, why bring such a heavy gift?" Li Dena was an honest man and returned the gift to Li Zongmin.

"Uncle, it would be too much of a formality for you to refuse again."

"Alright, alright, alright, I'll accept the gift."

Not to mention that the "Niu Party" members were busy bribing the examiners, the "Li Party" members were also quite shrewd and actually came up with a plan to bribe the examiners as well.

Li Zhigang was a distant relative of Li Shen, and this time he was fortunate enough to be appointed by the Emperor as one of the deputy examiners for the capital examination. Upon hearing this news, Li Shen immediately brought valuable gifts and paid a special visit to Li Zhigang's home.

"What a fine day!

What brings you to my humble abode, cousin?" Li Zhigang greeted him warmly as soon as he saw him arrive, ushering him into the living room. "How have you been, cousin? Is your wife feeling better?"

"She's doing well. Your wife is well too, thank you for your concern."

After a few pleasantries, Li Shen changed the subject, saying, "I have an important matter to ask of you, cousin."

"You're too kind, cousin. We're family, why are you being so formal? I haven't even thanked you for helping your wife find a royal physician last time." "

Then I won't stand on ceremony. This time, you have to help me! Help me switch these people's exam papers to ensure they pass with flying colors!" With that, Li Shen slipped a note filled with the names of the examinees, given to him by Li Deyu, into Li Zhigang's hand.

But bribing examiners isn't always smooth sailing.

Luo Zuoqing was a crucial deputy examiner for this imperial examination, and Li Deyu vowed to "win him over." However, Luo Zuoqing was a man who regarded money as dirt and power as trash. No matter if members of Li's faction offered gold or jewels, he would unceremoniously reject them, causing Li Deyu considerable headaches.

Fortunately, one of Li Deyu's subordinates, Li Xiaosan, was Luo Zuoqing's neighbor and knew that Luo Zuoqing had two weaknesses.

"What is Luo Zuoqing's first weakness?" Li Deyu was overjoyed upon hearing Li Xiaosan's report and quickly asked.

"Luo Zuoqing's first weakness is that although he regards money as dirt and power as trash, he loves beautiful women more than his own parents," Li Xiaosan replied.

"Any examples?" Li Deyu asked.

"Of course! When Luo Zuoqing was eighteen, he fell in love with a neighbor girl named Luo Hongyun who shared his surname, and they couldn't resist having premarital sex. At that time, according to local custom, people with the same surname couldn't marry. When Luo Zuoqing's parents found out about this scandalous affair, they were so angry they fell seriously ill. But Luo Zuoqing completely disregarded his parents' lives and, on a stormy night, taking advantage of a moment when neither family was watching, grabbed Luo Hongyun's hand and eloped..."

"Luo Zuoqing is indeed a ruthless and cruel son who loves beautiful women more than his own parents. What is his second weakness?" Li Deyu stroked his beard, smiled, and nodded, then asked.

"Luo Zuoqing's second weakness is that although he regards money as dirt and power as garbage, he loves beautiful women more than his own body and life."

"Any examples?"

"Of course! When Luo Zuoqing was 29, he went on a spring outing and encountered a beautiful young woman named Lin Yuying hanging herself in a grove of trees in the suburbs. (Lin Yuying's parents owed money to someone, and unable to repay it, they wanted to marry her off to the family's lame second son to pay off the debt. However, Lin Yuying refused and even threatened suicide, so she ran into the grove and hanged herself when her family wasn't looking.) Luo Zuoqing took pity on her and rescued her. Later, after learning about her unfortunate situation, Luo Zuoqing felt great sympathy and scraped together 20 taels of silver to help her." Having paid off his debts, Lin Yuying was overjoyed and agreed to become his concubine. On their wedding night, Luo Zuoqing caught a cold due to overwork. During their bridal chamber, Lin Yuying, concerned for her husband's health, softly said, "My lord, you are not feeling well. Let's skip the wedding night tonight. How about we wait until you're better?" However, Luo Zuoqing, seeing his delicate, fair-skinned, beautiful, and sexy wife Lin Yuying, became so excited that he disregarded his own health and life. That night, he made love to Lin Yuying three times, causing him to fall seriously ill.

"Good, good, good! Luo Zuoqing is indeed a fool who loves beautiful women more than his own body and life! My scheme has succeeded!" After hearing Li Xiaosan's account, Li Deyu stroked his goatee and laughed heartily.

Thus, Li Deyu devised a "beauty trap," spending a large sum of money to buy the next generation of famous courtesan "Lu Feifei," intending for her to seduce Luo Zuoqing.

The "beauty trap" is one of the most invincible strategies in the "Thirty-Six Stratagems," and it certainly proved highly effective this time.

Originally, Luo Zuoqing had long desired the alluring and captivating courtesan Lu Feifei. However, Lu Feifei was uninterested in the plain-looking and penniless Luo Zuoqing (so poor he couldn't even afford a decent dress or a single rose). Although Luo Zuoqing repeatedly invited her to his bedchamber (meaning he wanted to solicit her), she coldly refused.

This time, however, the "Li faction" voluntarily offered their long-desired courtesan Lu Feifei to their humble bed, without paying a penny. Luo Zuoqing was overjoyed, exclaiming that Li Deyu was the "most understanding and popular" official.

When Luo Zuoqing's trembling hands grasped the two round and fleshy breasts of the famous courtesan "Lu Feifei," when his tongue entered her sweet and fragrant mouth, and when his throbbing penis plunged into her swollen, warm, wet, tight, and fragrant orifice, he felt an even deeper gratitude for Li Deyu's kindness, a gratitude he would never forget!

Furthermore, the "Li faction" used extreme methods such as intimidation, meals, and massages to bribe five or six capable deputy examiners, including He Jinfan and Wu Shangde, achieving a brilliant victory in the battle to win over examiners!

Chapter 60: Relaxing Before the Exam

Tomorrow is the day of the capital examination. That night, Li Wencong went to bed early, hoping for a good night's sleep so he would be energetic and able to unleash his unparalleled talent to win the top scholar title and rise above others.

But the boy was so nervous that he tossed and turned, unable to sleep, which made his sweetheart, Su Xiaoqian, feel sorry for him.

Su Xiaoqian was a very thoughtful and considerate woman, so Li Wencong must have accumulated a lot of good karma in his past lives to have met such a beautiful and considerate woman like Su Xiaoqian!

"My dear little glutton, are you nervous? Or do you want to nurse?" Su Xiaoqian felt sorry for Li Wencong, who couldn't sleep, and worried that he wouldn't be well-rested and would affect his exam the next day.

"I'm so nervous, I can't fall asleep, what should I do?" Li Wencong said helplessly.

"Alright, my dear little glutton, I'll help you relax. I promise you'll sleep well and be well-rested so you can come back as the top scholar tomorrow," Su Xiaoqian said gently and considerately to Li Wencong.

"Oh, my beloved darling, my sweetheart, you're so good to me. Not only are you understanding, but you're also so considerate." Li Wencong got up and gave Su Xiaoqian a passionate kiss.

"Don't move. Let me be the star tonight. Just enjoy yourself and conserve your energy for tomorrow's exam." Su Xiaoqian was very caring and spoke softly, making Li Wencong overjoyed.

Su Xiaoqian had recently learned the "Su Nu" sexual techniques from "Su Nu" [said to be the most skilled goddess in bed, who created the famous 360-style Su Nu sexual techniques, known throughout the three realms (heaven, earth, and underworld)]. She was worried about having nowhere to test her skills, and tonight, she had the perfect opportunity to showcase them, so she volunteered to be the star.

Then, Su Xiaoqian diligently followed Su Nu's instructions, starting with the three arousing moves. The first move, "Tongue Touching the Arousal Point," involves having Li Wencong lie on the bed with his legs spread apart. First, gently touch his "Arousal Point" with the tip of your tongue to immediately arouse him. (This is very important; it's the foundation for passionate scenes.) The number of touches can be 36 or 72, depending on the auspicious or inauspicious number (the same applies to the following actions).

After Su Xiaoqian's soft and warm kisses landed on Li Wencong's "arousal points" 72 times, Li Wencong's "anti-aircraft gun" immediately stood tall and erect, like a 360-ton intercontinental ballistic missile, towering there majestically.

The second move, "Phoenix Mouth Holding Pearls," involved Su Xiaoqian parting Li Wencong's legs, opening her cherry-like mouth, and gently taking his two "big dragon pearls" into her mouth with her fragrant lips. She then performed a sucking and spitting motion, sucking and spitting each pearl 36 or 72 times, according to the auspicious numbers for the Heavenly Gang or Earthly Fiends.

After Su Xiaoqian's cherry-like mouth had finished spitting out 72 times from each of the two "dragon balls," Li Wencong's cannon became even more erect, with "blue veins" throbbing intensely, prompting Li Wencong to exclaim, "OK, that's exhilarating and exciting!"

The third move, "Jade Mouth Spitting Stick," involved Su Xiaoqian grabbing Li Wencong's cannon with both hands, adding a little fragrant saliva (jade maiden's saliva) to enhance lubrication, then opening her jade mouth and tightly holding the cannon, performing up-and-down stroking motions, for a total of 36 or 72 times, taking the number of the Heavenly Gang or Earthly Fiends.

After Su Xiaoqian's warm, jade-like mouth had played with his penis 72 times, Li Wencong's "cannon" swelled painfully, with veins bulging, making him shout, "I'm going to fly!

Ahh

...

But Su Xiaoqian couldn't sleep, feeling as if there was something important left undone. Her heart was heavy with worry. She quickly calculated the reason in her sleeve.

"Oh, tomorrow is the day of the imperial examination in the capital! The real examiner is still in my exquisite Qiankun bag. I must send him back to the imperial examination station immediately!" With that, Su Xiaoqian gently got up, rode auspicious clouds to the sky above the imperial examination station, opened her exquisite Qiankun bag, shook it, and said "Go!" Silently, she sent Ouyang Fengguang and Ouyang Lan to the imperial examination station. Then, she stretched out her jade hand, chanting, "If the magic bean doesn't return soon, when will it?!" With a wave of her hand, she retrieved the magic bean, and the fake Ouyang Fengguang and Ouyang Lan immediately disappeared without a trace.

An hour later, Ouyang Fengguang and Ouyang Lan slowly woke up.

"Where is this? Could it be the underworld?" Ouyang Fengguang recalled the chase by the "Niu" and "Li" gang two days ago, still feeling lingering fear. Calming himself, he looked around and saw it resembled the imperial palace. He twisted his ear hard and cried out in pain.

"So I'm not dead after all. How did I end up here safely?" Ouyang Fengguang was completely baffled.

"Where are my exam papers?" Suddenly remembering the exam papers and the Emperor's important trust, Ouyang Fengguang broke out in a cold sweat.

"Ah, here they are!" Suddenly, Ouyang Fengguang saw bundles of exam papers neatly arranged on the desk. Overjoyed, he chanted Buddhist prayers and knelt down to the west, kowtowing, "Amitabha! Lucky, lucky! Heaven has truly blessed me, Ouyang Fengguang!"

It was the day the imperial examinations began, and the weather was perfect, sunny and breezy. Early in the morning, Ouyang Fengguang and other chief examiners, accompanied by soldiers, arrived at the various examination halls with the exam papers.

Soon, the candidates entered their respective halls. Lin Mingxing, Ouyang Qing, and other candidates who had bought exam papers swaggered into the halls, their faces beaming with pride: "I've memorized the answers perfectly; I'm sure I'll get first place! Who dares challenge me!"

Du Wen, Tu Dejia, and the other "hard-working" candidates, however, entered the halls quietly, their composure stemming from thorough preparation.

Su Xiaoqian, using her Golden Light Technique, hid above Du Wen's examination hall, intending to protect him.

"Clang, clang, clang, clang," the bell tolled loudly, signaling the start of the exams, and the gates of all examination halls immediately closed.

Su Xiaoqian, also using her Golden Light Technique, hid above Li Wencong's examination hall, intending to protect him.

"Clang, clang, clang," the bell tolled loudly, and the gates of all examination halls immediately closed.

"Roll call now, Ouyang Qing."

"Here."

"Tu Dejia."

"Here."

"Lin Mingxing."

"Here."

"Li Wencong."

"Here too."

...

"Now announcing the examination rules."

After announcing the examination rules, the examiners began distributing the test papers...

Because he had done a thorough "relaxation exercise" last night and slept well, Li Wencong was in excellent spirits today, thanks to Su Xiaoqian.

The energetic Li Wencong took the test paper, a smile on his face, calm and composed. After carefully reviewing the questions, he thought for a moment, then picked up his pen and began writing furiously, his pen moving with effortless fluency.

Tu Dejia took the test paper, carefully read the questions, and after only a few minutes of thought, also began writing. It seems Tu Dejia's hard work paid off; diligence brings reward.

"Waaaaah, my god! How come this exam paper is completely different from the one I bought yesterday?" Ouyang Qing looked at the exam paper from left to right, front to back, but couldn't find a single question that was the same as the one he bought yesterday. What should he do? Ouyang Qing broke out in a cold sweat.

"Damn bastard, selling fake exam papers! My 50 taels of silver!" Having been caught out of nowhere, Ouyang Qing felt extremely helpless and frustrated.

"Waaah, damn it, how come this exam paper is completely different from the one I bought yesterday?" Lin Mingxing hurriedly flipped through the exam paper carefully and also found that the questions were completely different from the one he bought yesterday.

"Damn it, I've been caught out!" Lin Mingxing was furious. But as angry as he was, he had bought it voluntarily, so who could he blame? He could only blame himself for being lazy and not studying the scriptures seriously, and for taking shortcuts. Alas, Lin Mingxing was left with a bitter pill to swallow, a bitter pill to bear alone.

Annoyed, he looked around the examination hall and noticed two distinct groups of candidates. One group consisted of diligent students like Li Wencong and Tu Dejia, who were calm, smiling, and diligently writing their exam papers. The other group, like himself, were those who hadn't studied seriously and were trying to cheat by buying exam papers. They were all scratching their heads, staring at each other, some sighing in their seats, others anxiously looking around, as restless as ants on a hot plate.

"Ah, hard work pays off," Lin Mingxing thought. "As the old saying goes, 'No pain, no gain.' It seems Li Wencong, Tu Dejia, and the others who studied hard were right." He regretted not studying more during the exam; Lin Mingxing felt a pang of helplessness.

Upon receiving the urgent report from the bribed examiners, Niu Sengru and Li Deyu, key figures in the "Niu" and "Li" factions, also learned that the exam papers sold yesterday were fake! This was unacceptable! The two factions immediately convened an emergency meeting to discuss countermeasures. (

Chapter 61: A Series of Poisonous Schemes

and Interesting Anecdotes)

In the executive council hall of the "Niu Party," Niu Sengru pointed at Niu Sengyu and roared in fury: "How did you handle this? You can't even tell the difference between a real and a fake exam paper! Are you blind or have you lost your mind?!"

"This… I don't know either. When we dragged Ouyang Fengguang out in the sedan chair, we found the exam paper in his arms," Niu Sengyu said, lowering his head, looking extremely wronged and helpless.

"Things have already turned out this way; blaming them won't solve the problem. Now we need to discuss what methods to use to remedy the situation," Li Zongmin advised Niu Sengru.

"I'll record your offense for now, and settle accounts with you later," Niu Sengru said angrily.

"Everyone, we're all in the same boat. We must weather this storm together! Please share your opinions; what methods can we use to remedy this?" Niu Sengru was sweating profusely with anxiety. The past few years have been a turbulent period for the "Niu Party." Since the "Li Party" came to power, they have never given the "Niu Party" a friendly look, and have frequently ostracized and attacked them. Now, at this crucial moment, this "big-headed Buddha" has appeared. How much damage will this do to the image of the "Niu Party"? Can you imagine how anxious Niu Sengru must be?

"Well… oh, I have a way." Li Zongmin's cunning eyes darted around, and he immediately had a plan.

"What way? Tell me quickly!" Niu Sengru was impatient.

"Order the chief examiner to tamper with things. Don't we control several chief examiners?" Li Zongmin said.

Then, Li Zongmin leaned close to Niu Sengru's ear and said, "As long as we instruct the chief examiner to do this and that, the problem will be easily solved, won't it?"

"Brilliant plan, brilliant plan! Aha, Zongmin is truly resourceful! You are our strategist!" Hearing Li Zongmin's suggestion, Niu Sengru was overjoyed, his wrinkles widening with delight, and he kept nodding while stroking his beard.

Meanwhile, upon receiving the chief examiner's urgent report, Li Deyu and Li Shen, the core members of the "Li" Party, were also as anxious as ants on a hot plate. They immediately convened an emergency meeting of their core members.

The meeting had barely begun when Li Deyu launched into a tirade against the assassin captain, Li Qiangfeng: "How could you be so muddle-headed? You can't even tell if the exam papers are real or fake! Is it a problem of ability or attitude?! Do you know how much damage your mistake will cause to our 'Li Party'?! Are you trying to destroy our 'Li Party' before you're satisfied?"

Li Deyu's tirade grew increasingly vicious, wishing he could slap Li Qiangfeng a few times to vent his anger. It's understandable; after all these years, the "Li Party" had finally defeated the "Niu Party" and become the ruling party. But this didn't mean they could rest easy, because the "Niu Party" was unwilling to admit defeat and frequently used opportunities to attack the "Li Party." If things went wrong, they could easily make a comeback, and then the "Li Party" would be in dire straits! The "Li Party" had initially been in a leading position in the battle for the capital, but now, at this crucial moment, this major problem had arisen. As the leader of the "Li Party," how could he not be anxious?

Li Deyu's curses grew increasingly vicious, wishing he could slap the assassin captain, Li Qiangfeng, several times to vent his anger. It was understandable; after all these years, the "Li Party" had finally defeated the "Niu Party" and become the ruling party. But this didn't mean they could rest easy, because the "Niu Party" members were unwilling to accept defeat and frequently used opportunities to attack the "Li Party." They could easily stage a comeback, and then the "Li Party" would be in dire straits! In the battle for the capital, the "Li Party" had initially been in the lead, but now, at this crucial moment, this major problem had arisen. As the leader of the "Li Party," how could he not be anxious?

"Lord Li, please calm down. The mistake has been made; even killing him won't solve the problem. The key now is what method we should take to remedy the situation," Li Shen quickly advised Li Deyu.

"Fine, Lord Li, I'll spare your head for now, but I'll settle the score with you later," Li Deyu retorted, still seething with resentment.

Li Deyu cleared his throat and continued, "Brothers, we're all in the same boat. To prosper, we must weather the storm together. Now, please feel free to share your opinions and suggestions, and let's see if there's any way to remedy the situation. I'm counting on you all."

After hearing Li Deyu's words, everyone immediately started whispering and discussing among themselves.

"Lord Li, I have a suggestion, but I don't know if it will work?" Old is gold, and Li Shen, being older and more experienced, quickly came up with a good idea.

"What's the idea? Tell me quickly." Li Deyu perked up immediately upon hearing that there was a good solution.

Li Shen, unperturbed, held up two fingers and offered two schemes: "Don't we have several examiners? We just need to order them to do two things and we'll succeed: first, pick out the best papers and send them to the candidates who support us to copy; second, simply change the names of the well-written papers of candidates who don't support us to those who do, and that'll be it. This is called 'stealing the beams and replacing the pillars,' one of the Thirty-Six Stratagems."

"Good, good, good! This plan is brilliant. Lord Li, you're a real old fox to have come up with this 'stealing the beams and replacing the pillars' scheme. Hahaha..." Li Deyu was so happy that even the tumor on his face twitched.

The examiners, bribed by the "Li" and "Niu" factions, immediately received orders from them to act according to the plan. So they hurriedly began to act.

One examiner stood behind Li Wencong and carefully examined him for a long time. He saw that Li Wencong's thoughts flowed freely, his writing seemingly effortless; his pen moved swiftly and powerfully. He truly possessed the talent of Li Bai and the brushwork of Wang Xizhi. Upon closer inspection of the list in his hand, he discovered that Li Wencong was not on the list of those heavily protected by either the "Niu" or "Li" factions, and felt a pang of regret.

"Alas," the examiner said, "it's truly a matter of fate. You have a wealth of talent, but unfortunately, you don't understand the principle of 'a wise man submits to circumstances.' Do you know that in this era of partisan strife and 'survival of the fittest,' not knowing how to find a patron will lead to great losses? Li Wencong, you are truly a complete bookworm."

Another examiner approached Tu Dejia and examined him closely. He saw that Tu Dejia's writing was brilliant and quite good. Upon closer inspection of the list, he discovered that Tu Dejia was not on the list of those under special protection by either the "Niu" or "Li" faction, and he couldn't help but feel secretly pleased.

"Ah ha, this big fish is quite capable, but you can forget about passing the exam. But don't blame me, I'm just doing this for money. Especially when you fail and are so angry you either hang yourself or jump into the river, don't blame me. Blame your bad luck for being born in this 'survival of the fittest' era!"

Chapter 62: Beautiful Girl Teases Examiner

Another examiner came to Tu Dejia's side and took a closer look. He saw that Tu Dejia's writing was brilliant and quite good. Upon closer inspection of the list, he discovered that Tu Dejia was not on the list of those under special protection by either the "Niu" or "Li" faction, and he couldn't help but feel secretly pleased.

"Ha, this big fish is quite something, but you can forget about passing the exam. Don't blame me, though; I'm just doing this for money. Especially when you fail and are so angry you either hang yourself or jump into the river and become a vengeful ghost, don't blame me (I have elderly parents and a young, beautiful wife). Blame your bad luck for being born in this 'survival of the fittest' era!"

Another examiner approached Lin Mingxing and examined him closely. He saw that Lin's writing was like scribbling, crooked and illegible, his style poor, and his words nonsensical and incomprehensible. He thought to himself ... Just as he was about to curse, "You son of a bitch, born of a father but uneducated by a mother, utterly illiterate! What makes you think you can pass the imperial examinations? You should take a good look at yourself!" he looked up more closely and was astonished. It turned out that he was one of the key figures protected by the "Li Party." He thought to himself, "You little rascal, I wonder what good deeds your parents did in their past lives to have such a clever son like you. Although you're a complete blockhead when it comes to literature, your brain is as sharp as a finely pointed needle. At such a young age, you already understand the unwritten rule of the underworld: 'Discretion is the better part of valor.' That's quite rare!"

Seeing him scratching his head and looking like he was dying because he didn't know the answers, I was so angry I wanted to give him a good beating: "You brat, what's the rush? Are you in such a hurry to be reborn? You know, you're about to have good luck! I'll help you correct your exam paper in a little while, and passing the imperial examination is just a matter of time. This is your reward for knowing how to 'climb the social ladder.' When you pass, don't forget this old bone that helped you!"

In that era of 'survival of the fittest,' under the oppression of dark factions, seeing cultured and virtuous candidates like Li Wen and Tu Dejia about to fall into an inexplicable trap, while the ignorant and scheming Lin Mingxing and Ouyang Qing were about to pass the examination—where was justice? It was infuriating! But don't worry, everyone, there's the legendary heroine Su Xiaoqian secretly protecting you; the villains won't succeed. Perhaps this is the justice of heaven.

Meanwhile, Su Xiaoqian, hidden in the air, noticed the examiners sometimes shaking their heads and sighing behind Li Wencong and Tu Dejia, and other times silently chuckling beside Lin Mingxing and Ouyang Qing. Wondering what they were up to, she quickly calculated with her fingers in her sleeve and realized the truth. She was shocked: "The 'Li' and 'Niu' factions have devised a vicious plan to harm Li Wencong, a cultured and virtuous candidate! This is defying the heavens! No, this immortal must find a way to save them!"

Su Xiaoqian, being a celestial being, quickly devised a plan. She decided to play a trick on those unscrupulous examiners.

Li Wencong, true to his reputation as a descendant of the God of Literature, was not only exceptionally talented but also quick-witted. His pen flew across the paper like the wind, "swish, swish, swish," and he quickly finished the exam. He then stood up with a smile and was the first to hand in his paper. Li Wencong's speed surprised not only the candidates but also the examiners.

Following closely behind, Tu Dejia and other candidates with "genuine talent" quickly finished their exams and handed them to the examiners with satisfied smiles.

Little did Li Wencong and his associates know that a misfortune was quietly approaching.

The bribed examiners, anxiously awaiting the submissions so they could carry out their wicked scheme, were overjoyed to finally have "fish" bite (submit their papers) and immediately began their busy work.

However, these bribed examiners were unaware that Su Xiaoqian was watching their every move.

One examiner selected a well-written paper and walked over to Ouyang Qing, a candidate under special protection by the "Li faction."

"You're really lucky, kid. This is Lord Li Deyu's favor. Take the exam paper, copy it down, and hand it in along with your exam paper."

Ouyang Qing was having a headache trying to figure out how to answer the exam questions, and now this huge "bread" had fallen from the sky. He was overjoyed and quickly thanked him, saying, "Li Deyu and you are truly my second parents! I won't forget you if I pass the exam tomorrow!"

Then, just as Ouyang Qing was about to happily copy the exam paper, a strange thing happened.

"My goodness, where's the exam paper? How did my perfectly good exam paper turn into a blank sheet of paper?" Ouyang Qing looked down and saw that the exam paper, which had been fine just moments before, was now a blank sheet of paper. He broke out in a cold sweat.

Strange things continued to happen.

When Ouyang Qing looked at the exam paper again, he found that it had suddenly disappeared. He frantically searched around his desk.

"What's wrong?" The examiner, seeing Ouyang Qing's distress, hurried over to ask.

"What?! How could the exam papers just disappear? You're asking for trouble! You can't even manage an exam paper properly. Do you understand? Losing an exam paper could mean at least being dismissed, or at worst, being beheaded! You heartless brat, don't get me into this mess!" The examiner was trembling with fear, frantically searching for the exam papers with Ouyang Qing.

It turned out that Su Xiaoqian had secretly collected the papers using her exquisite Qiankun bag. Seeing the examiner's pathetic state, Su Xiaoqian couldn't help but chuckle to herself.

Lin Mingxing was Li Deyu's top priority for protection, and a special examiner was assigned to handle his exam papers. The examiner carefully read through each submitted exam paper, finding Li Wencong's paper to be the best, and decided to use it to replace Lin Mingxing's paper.

Su Xiaoqian was most concerned about her exam paper, Li Wencong's. Now, seeing the examiner about to change it to Lin Mingxing's, she was furious!

Just as the examiner put on his reading glasses and picked up his pen to change Li Wencong's name to Lin Mingxing's, Su Xiaoqian pointed at the exam paper and said, "Fly!" The exam paper obediently and slowly floated up.

"Oh my, how did the exam paper grow wings and fly?" The examiner hurriedly took off his reading glasses and tried to catch the exam paper, but it seemed to have eyes, dodging his hand and circling higher and higher, causing the examiner to jump higher and higher, as if dancing.

"Let me tease that examiner again." With that, the mischievous Su Xiaoqian pulled a magic bean from her leopard-skin pouch, blew on it, and said, "Transform!" The magic bean instantly turned into a watermelon rind, circling around the examiner's feet.

"Hahaha, I'm falling!" The examiner finally stepped on the watermelon rind,

fell flat on his face, and couldn't get up for a long time. Su Xiaoqian saw this and laughed, her beautiful face blooming like a flower in February.

Later, to protect the well-done exam papers from being altered by those unscrupulous examiners, Su Xiaoqian simply used her magic to store them all in her exquisite Qiankun bag.

Chapter 063: Anecdotes of the Imperial Examination - A Delightful

Tale

When the examination hall closed, the chief examiner, Ouyang Fengguang, ordered all the deputy examiners to hand in all the collected examination papers so that they could be sealed together and reported to the Emperor.

Upon hearing Ouyang Fengguang's order, the deputy examiners nervously handed in the papers with their messy answers (because the well-written papers had all been collected by Su Xiaoqian into her exquisite Qiankun bag).

"What? You only collected this many papers? Where are the others? You…" Ouyang Fengguang slapped the handed-in papers, his eyes wide, and asked loudly.

"We deserve to die! We didn't protect Bu Zhongzhou properly, and some papers just mysteriously flew away," the deputy examiners replied cautiously and tremblingly.

"Bullshit! Who do you think you're fooling? How could the exam papers just vanish without a trace? Are you looking for death? How can you be so irresponsible? If I report this to the Emperor, you'll be dismissed from your posts at best, and beheaded at worst. I won't escape responsibility either! Don't drag me into this!" Ouyang Fengguang was furious, his face turning pale. He slammed his fist on the table and shouted at them.

"Lord Ouyang, have mercy!" The deputy examiners were all terrified, their faces drained of color. The more timid ones were so frightened they almost wet themselves.

Just as they were debating how to recover the lost exam papers, they suddenly heard the gatekeeper announce: "Reporting to the chief examiner, the Emperor is coming to inspect the examination!"

"Oh no!" Upon hearing that the Emperor was going to personally inspect the capital examination and would be arriving soon, Ouyang Fengguang was so frightened that he slumped into his chair.

Hearing that the Emperor was going to personally inspect the capital examination, the deputy examiners were even more terrified, each one wetting themselves.

Just as Ouyang Fengguang was utterly terrified and at a loss, a sweet, delicate voice suddenly rang in his ears: "Lord Ouyang, I am the immortal who rescued you when you were being chased by the 'Niu' and 'Li' factions. I have good news for you: I've collected all your well-answered exam papers and put them in the cabinet next to you. You can submit them to the Emperor for review in a little while." Then, Su Xiaoqian briefly recounted to Ouyang Fengguang how the deputy examiners, bribed by the 'Niu' and 'Li' factions, had tried to change the names on the well-answered papers, and how she, disapproving of this, had secretly collected the papers. Ouyang Fengguang was both surprised and delighted.

"These greedy, heartless, and irresponsible bastards! See how I deal with you?!" Those deputy examiners bribed by the 'Niu' and 'Li' factions had disregarded the law and committed such heinous acts, infuriating Ouyang Fengguang to the point of blasphemy. Just as Ouyang Fengguang was getting angry, suddenly—

"The Emperor has arrived!" the accompanying eunuch Lin Fan shouted loudly.

"Go, line up at the gate to welcome His Majesty." Ouyang Fengguang hurriedly stood up, carefully straightened his clothes, and strode out.

The deputy examiners were all so frightened that their legs went weak, and they could only half-walk, half-crawl out to greet the Emperor, looking extremely comical.

"Serves them right, this is karma." Su Xiaoqian saw the pathetic state of the deputy examiners and laughed heartily, her laughter as bright as the stars.

Meanwhile, Ouyang Fengguang stood up, straightened his clothes, and strode out.

The deputy examiners were all so frightened that they were like limp crabs, unable to even lift their legs, and could only half-walk, half-crawl out to greet the Emperor, looking extremely comical.

Now, why did Emperor Zhaozong of Tang personally come to inspect the examination venue? This was unprecedented.

It turned out that around midnight the previous night, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang had a strange dream: first, he dreamt of an old man with a full head of white hair and a white beard (actually Venus) approaching him, holding a whisk and bowing, saying, "Your Majesty, quickly welcome the star of war." Then he dreamt of a white bear with wings flying into his arms. The flying bear looked extremely ferocious and hateful, and Emperor Zhaozong was terrified, so he woke up in a cold sweat.

The next morning, Emperor Zhaozong immediately issued an imperial edict summoning the Left Chancellor, Yuchi Jingde, to the palace to interpret his dream (it is said that this man was a famous dream interpreter at the time).

"Congratulations, Your Majesty! This dream indicates that Your Majesty will receive a general's talent." After hearing Emperor Zhaozong's explanation, the Left Chancellor, Yuchi Jingde, hurriedly stepped forward to congratulate him.

"What do you mean?" Emperor Zhaozong did not understand the meaning behind the Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde's words.

"At the end of the Shang Dynasty, King Wen of Zhou, Ji Chang, urgently needed a capable and virtuous advisor, and he searched diligently. One night, at the third watch, he had a dream in which a winged bear flew into his arms. The next day, he consulted a diviner and, following the diviner's directions, led his men to the Wei River, where they found Jiang Shang, a man of great learning and exceptional talent, fishing with a straight hook. He appointed Jiang Shang as his prime minister. With Jiang Shang's assistance, King Wen of Zhou overthrew the corrupt Sui Dynasty and established the Zhou Dynasty, which lasted for 800 years. From then on, the Flying Bear became a symbol of a general. Now, Your Majesty also dreamt of a Flying Bear entering your arms at the third watch (only dreams at the third watch are considered true), which foretells that Your Majesty will obtain a general." Left Prime Minister Yuchi Jingde explained.

"That's good! The court and the country are in chaos right now, and I need a celestial star to assist me. However, the dream didn't specify where to find the star. Minister Yuchi, where do you think I should look?" Emperor Zhaozong was both surprised and delighted, but also helpless.

"Tomorrow is the start of the capital examination. Your dream of a flying bear entering your bosom at this time means your celestial star is destined to descend upon the examination halls. As long as Your Majesty personally visits each examination hall tomorrow, you will surely find Your Majesty's celestial star."

"Good, well said. Minister Yuchi, you have done a great service! When I find my celestial star, I will reward you handsomely. Where is Chief Eunuch Li Yingqiu? Convey my decree that he should proceed to each examination hall tomorrow." Hearing that he would encounter a celestial star, Emperor Zhaozong was so happy that even the wrinkles on his forehead (due to the recent factional strife between the "Li" and "Niu" factions, Emperor Zhaozong had hardly had a day of peace, so his young forehead was covered with wrinkles) blossomed into a smile.

Ouyang Fengguang stood up, straightened his clothes, and said, "Let's go, line up at the gate to welcome His Majesty." He strode out.

The deputy examiners were all terrified, like limp crabs, unable to even lift their feet, and could only half-walk, half-crawl out to greet the emperor, looking utterly comical.

When the chief examiner Ouyang Fengguang led the deputy examiners to kneel in two rows at the gate to welcome the emperor, Emperor Zhaozong's glazed sedan chair stopped. The chief eunuch Li Yingqiu hurriedly stepped forward and lifted the curtain, revealing the young, dignified, and majestic Emperor Zhaozong stepping out.

"Long live the Emperor! Long live the Emperor! Long live the Emperor!" Ouyang Fengguang and the deputy examiners kneeling on either side hurriedly shouted.

"Rise, my beloved ministers, and be seated." Emperor Zhaozong was very pleased today and gestured for them to rise.

"Minister Ouyang, how did the imperial examination go this year?" Emperor Zhaozong went straight to the point, eager to meet his rising star.

"Your Majesty, the results of this year's imperial examination were actually quite good, but..." Ouyang Fengguang paused deliberately, glancing at the deputy examiners sitting behind him. They were terrified, breaking out in a cold sweat and frantically waving their handkerchiefs.

"Minister Ouyang, explain yourself clearly. 'But what?' Emperor Zhaozong hurriedly asked.

'Your Majesty, you only need to look at these examination papers to know.' Ouyang Fengguang held up the messy papers submitted by the deputy examiners, and the chief eunuch, Li Yingqiu, quickly took them and handed them to Emperor Zhaozong.

'What kind of rubbish is this? It's an eyesore!' Emperor Zhaozong was furious after reading Ouyang Qing's essay.

'Incoherent, incoherent, and this one is even more incoherent! It's utterly worthless!' Emperor Zhaozong was so angry after reading Lin Mingxing's essay that his hair stood on end."

"Minister Ouyang, what have you done? Why are all these worthless essays being collected for this year's imperial examinations?!" Emperor Zhaozong of Tang grew increasingly angry, unable to bear it any longer.

"Your Majesty, the good essays have all been collected by these servants," Ouyang Fengguang said, pointing to the increasingly trembling deputy examiners sitting behind him.

"We deserve to die! We beg Your Majesty for mercy!" The deputy examiners knelt on the ground, begging for forgiveness.

"What's going on here?" Emperor Zhaozong asked angrily.

Ouyang Fengguang then recounted to Emperor Zhaozong in detail how the deputy examiners, bribed by the "Li" and "Niu" factions, had tried to change the names of the candidates on the well-written essays. Emperor Zhaozong was furious, slamming his fist on the table and cursing the deputy examiners as corrupt officials, traitors who brought disaster to the country, and declaring that he would surely dismiss them from their posts.

"We deserve to die..." The deputy examiners, seeing the emperor's wrath, were so frightened that they collapsed to the ground and urinated.

Seeing the deputy examiners terrified, Ouyang Fengguang, being kind-hearted, didn't want to make things difficult for them any further. Therefore, he decided to hand over the exam papers Su Xiaoqian had returned to him to Emperor Zhaozong of Tang.

"Thanks to Your Majesty's great fortune, the exam papers with good answers have been found. Please

, Your Majesty, take a look," Ouyang Fengguang said respectfully, holding the exam papers Su Xiaoqian had returned to him

above his head. The chief eunuch, Li Yingqiu, quickly stepped forward, took them, and handed them to Emperor Zhaozong.

Emperor Zhaozong of Tang, having heard that the well-written examination papers had been found, was already in a better mood. Seeing Ouyang Fengguang present his, he reached out and examined them closely.

The first paper he received was Tu Dejia's. His essay was well-reasoned and logically sound, exceptionally well-written, completely different from the essays of Ouyang Qing and Lin Mingxing. He nodded in praise,

saying, "Well written, well written." The second paper was Shi Congtian's. His essay was rich in examples and logically sound, quite excellent, also unlike the essays of Ouyang Qing and Lin Mingxing.

He nodded in praise, saying, "Good, very well written."

Emperor Zhaozong then examined several more papers, finding them all well-written, and was greatly pleased.

The last exam paper was written by Li Wencong. His essay was titled "On the Strategy of Qin," and his handwriting was not only beautiful, with each character flowing like a dragon and a phoenix, immediately catching the eye. Upon closer reading, every sentence was a gem; the argument was thorough and logically sound, and it sharply criticized current affairs, possessing strong practical value. It was truly a masterpiece, "unprecedented and unparalleled." Emperor

Zhaozong stroked his beard and exclaimed, "Excellent essay! Excellent essay! Truly a rare gem!" Emperor Zhaozong then opened his eyes and carefully appreciated "On the Strategy of Qin": "In the past, Qin destroyed the Zhou dynasty, unified the land, annexed the feudal lords, and proclaimed itself emperor, to govern the four seas. Scholars throughout the land flocked to it. Why was this so? Because there had been no true king for a long time. The Zhou dynasty was weak, the Five Hegemons had perished, and its decrees were not obeyed throughout the land. Therefore, the feudal lords held power, the strong bullied the weak, the many oppressed the few, war raged incessantly, and the people were exhausted." In the past, Qin ruled the world from the south, meaning it had a Son of Heaven above. The people, hoping for peace and security, all humbly looked up to him. At that time, absolute power and established authority were crucial; the foundation of security and danger lay in this.

The King of Qin, however, harbored greed and despicable intentions, relying on his own cleverness. He distrusted meritorious officials, distanced himself from the people, abandoned the Way of the King and established personal favoritism, burned documents and implemented cruel laws, prioritizing deceit and force over benevolence and righteousness, thus beginning his reign with tyranny. Those who conquer rely on deceit and force, while those who secure peace value the proper order and authority; this shows that the methods of acquisition and defense are different. Qin emerged from the Warring States period to rule the world, its methods unchanged, its policies unaltered; therefore, its methods of acquisition and defense were the same. Possessing power alone, its demise was inevitable. If the King of Qin had studied the affairs of past dynasties and the precedents of Yin and Zhou to govern his state, even with subsequent arrogant rulers, there would have been no danger of collapse. Therefore, the three kings who established their empires had glorious names and enduring achievements.

When the Second Emperor of Qin ascended the throne, the entire world watched with bated breath as he governed. The cold craved coarse clothing, and the hungry found sweet chaff and bran delicious. The world was in turmoil, a consequence of the new ruler's policies. This illustrates how easily the people can be burdened with hardship and afflictions. Had the Second Emperor acted like a mediocre ruler and appointed loyal and virtuous officials, with ministers and ruler united in concern for the nation's troubles, and had he mourned the mistakes of the previous emperor, divided the land and people to reward the descendants of meritorious officials, established a state and a ruler to honor the world, emptied prisons to spare from executions, and abolished the crimes of imprisoning and disposing of children, allowing everyone to return to their hometowns; opened granaries and distributed wealth to aid the lonely and impoverished; reduced taxes and labor to alleviate the people's urgent needs; simplified laws and reduced punishments to ensure future stability, enabling all people to reform themselves, cultivate virtue, and be cautious in their conduct; fulfilling the hopes of the people and bestowing great virtue upon the world, the world would have found peace. The entire realm would have been joyful and content in their own places, fearing only the possibility of upheaval. Though there may be cunning and treacherous people, they will not harbor rebellious intentions. Thus, disloyal ministers will have no way to conceal their cunning, and the treacherous schemes of rebellion will be quelled. ...

Now, the "Li" and "Niu" factions are embroiled in conflict, which is a grave violation of morality: they destroy ancestral temples and harm the people, impose harsh punishments and severe penalties, and govern with extreme cruelty; rewards and punishments are inappropriate, and taxes are excessive. The world is in turmoil, and officials cannot keep order; the people are impoverished, and the ruler... then treachery and falsehood arise together, and superiors and inferiors evade each other; many are guilty, executions are frequent, and the world suffers greatly. From the ministers down to the common people, everyone harbors a sense of insecurity, personally experiencing poverty and hardship, and none are at peace in their positions...

Therefore, if we wish to revive our Tang Dynasty, we must eliminate the treacherous faction, restore morality to the people, and restore justice to the people... If this is done, the people will be fortunate, and the nation will be fortunate!

...

After Emperor Zhaozong of Tang had carefully read "On the Strategy of Qin," he was taken a long time to recover and exclaimed that it was a fine piece of writing. He then asked Ouyang Fengguang with delight, "Minister Ouyang, this Li Wencong

is truly a rare talent! Where is he from? How old is he? Quickly find out for me." Seeing Emperor Zhaozong's great pleasure, Ouyang Fengguang dared not delay and immediately ordered someone to check Li Wencong's records. He then stepped forward and reported, "Li Wencong is from Yuanyang County and is only nineteen years old this year."

"To be able to write such a fine piece at such a young age is truly rare. Issue my imperial decree to summon Li Wencong, Tu Dejia, and Shi Congtian to me. I want to personally examine them." February 13th,
Chapter 64: The Appointment of the Top Scholar – A Tale of Success

"To write such excellent articles at such a young age is truly rare. Issue my imperial decree: summon Li Wencong, Tu Dejia, and Shi Congtian to me. I wish to personally examine them."

After reviewing the papers of Li Wencong, Tu Dejia, and Shi Congtian, Emperor Zhaozong found them to be the best. A thought struck him: could one of them be the "dream general" he was searching for? Therefore, he decided to examine them personally.

"This humble subject, Tu Dejia, greets Your Majesty! May Your Majesty live ten thousand years!" Tu Dejia entered first, immediately kneeling and shouting "Long live the Emperor!

" "Could this be the 'dream general' I'm looking for? No way! His appearance is too ordinary, and he's a bit too old!" Upon seeing Tu Dejia's pretentious appearance, Emperor Zhaozong was immediately displeased.

"This humble subject, Shi Congtian, greets Your Majesty! May Your Majesty live ten thousand years!" Shi Congtian entered and hurriedly knelt down, shouting "Long live the Emperor!"

"Could this be the 'dream general' I've been searching for? No way! Not only is he unattractive, but he's also short and stocky, and his name is rather strange—Shi Congtian? It sounds like 'shit rushing to the sky.'" Emperor Zhaozong of Tang, seeing Shi Congtian's unremarkable appearance and poor physique, and considering his name, felt somewhat displeased.

"This humble subject, Li Wencong, greets Your Majesty! May Your Majesty live ten thousand years!" Li Wencong also rushed in and knelt down, shouting "Long live the Emperor!"

Hearing Li Wencong's loud and clear voice, Emperor Zhaozong felt a surge of joy. Opening his eyes further, he saw a handsome, refined, and dignified scholar kneeling on the ground, shouting "Long live the Emperor!" His delight increased even more.

"This is the 'dream general' I've been looking for! Not only is he handsome, but he also has a dignified air, and he's so young."

"His appearance is good, and his 'Strategy for Qin' was also quite good, but I wonder if he truly possesses the necessary talent? Very well, I'll test his abilities on the spot." With this in mind, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang decreed that Li Wencong, Tu Dejia, and Shi Congtian be tested on the spot.

"What topic should I give?" Emperor Zhaozong raised his imperial gaze and looked around the hall. Suddenly, he saw a painting of "Crows Fluttering on Branches" on the hall. It was exquisitely painted, clearly the work of a master.

"Let's use that as the topic." Emperor Zhaozong was a highly talented emperor. After a moment's thought, he composed an excellent first line of a couplet: "Crows flutter on branches, branches break, crows fly, branches fall to the ground."

"During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Zhi was famous for composing a poem in seven steps (an ancient method of timekeeping). Very well, convey my decree: Li Wencong and Tu Dejia must complete this first line of my couplet within seven steps. Whoever provides the best second line will be immediately appointed as the top scholar in this imperial examination, and the second and third place winners will be appointed as the runners-up."

This was no easy first line to complete. The difficulty lay in the fact that it was a homophonic couplet, with "crow" and "cawfinch" being homophones. Moreover, the couplet vividly depicted a scene of crows playfully swooping down on tree branches, a vivid and expressive description. What was even more terrifying was that Emperor Zhaozong of Tang had only given seven steps for such an extremely difficult first line!

Everyone present was worried for Li Wencong and Tu Dejia. Even Su Xiaoqian, who was secretly protecting Li Wencong from the air using the Golden Light Technique, was very concerned about whether Li Wencong could answer the first line in such a short time.

Time passed slowly, and Li Wencong and Tu Dejia were both deep in thought.

Those present were tense, their eyes wide, some even sweating profusely.

Li Wencong, worthy of being called the celestial star of literature descended to earth, was naturally quick-witted and exceptionally talented. When he took his sixth step, he had already conceived a brilliant second line, and so he answered fluently: "Your Majesty, my second line is 'The swan perches on the chrysanthemum leaf, the chrysanthemum droops; the swan flies, the chrysanthemum faces the sky.'" (Author's note: "鹄" was pronounced "ju" in the Tang Dynasty, a homophone of "菊" (chrysanthemum).)

"Wow, a perfectly matched and natural second line! Truly a fine couplet!" Emperor Zhaozong of Tang exclaimed upon hearing Li Wencong's response.

"Your Majesty is right! This is indeed a second line 'unprecedented and unparalleled'!" The chief eunuch, Li Yingqiu, quickly flattered Emperor Zhaozong. The chief examiner, Ouyang Fengguang, and the Left Chancellor, Yuchi Jingde, also echoed his sentiments.

Tu Dejia, having diligently studied the Four Books and Five Classics and the Complete Collection of Couplets, naturally possessed exceptional literary talent. As he took his seventh step, he came up with a clever second line and stepped forward to reply: "Your Majesty, my second line is 'The leopard tracks the cannon's muzzle, the cannon roars, the leopard walks, the cannon soars to the sky.'"

Shi Congtian, also a well-read scholar, naturally possessed extraordinary literary talent. As he took his seventh step, he also came up with a clever second line and stepped forward to reply: "Your Majesty, my second line is 'The official steps on a piece of excrement, the excrement stinks, the official kicks excrement, soaring to the sky.'"

Shi Congtian's choice of line, as strange as his name, caused Emperor Zhaozong and everyone present to burst into laughter. Some laughed so hard they bent over, while others rubbed their stomachs in exasperation. Some laughed so hard they cried, hurriedly pulling out handkerchiefs to wipe their tears...

After the laughter subsided, everyone applauded and cheered for the matching couplets of Li Wencong, Tu Dejia, and Shi Congtian; Su Xiaoqian, who was secretly protecting Li Wencong from the air using the Earthly Golden Light Technique, also breathed a sigh of relief; even Emperor Zhaozong of Tang exclaimed happily, "Well done! Wonderful!"

"Judging from the length of time taken to respond, Li Wencong wins. Now, I would like to ask my esteemed ministers to provide a detailed analysis and comparison of the three couplets," Emperor Zhaozong said happily, stroking his beard. "

This humble subject believes that all three couplets are very well-matched, but in terms of the imagery, the couplet 'The swan perches on the chrysanthemum leaf, the chrysanthemum droops; the swan flies, the chrysanthemum faces the sky' is more vivid and expressive," the chief examiner, Ouyang Fengguang, stepped forward and answered.

“I agree with the chief examiner Ouyang Fengguang’s opinion. Comparing the imagery of the couplets, ‘Leopards stride through cannon muzzles, cannons roar, leopards walk, cannons soar to the sky’ seems a bit stiff, and ‘Officials tread on dung, dung stinks

, officials kick dung, soaring to the sky’ is even less than right,” the accompanying Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde stepped forward to report. Emperor Zhaozong of Tang was delighted after listening to the detailed analysis of the two second lines by the chief examiner Ouyang Fengguang and the Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde. Li Wencong was not only handsome and dashing, but also quick-witted and exceptionally talented; he was truly the emperor’s dream-fulfilled general. Indeed,

Li Wencong was Emperor Zhaozong’s dream-fulfilled general. In the 27th year of Emperor Zhaozong’s reign, the Jin general Wanyan Aguduo led 400,000 troops to invade the Central Plains. To defend against the invaders, Emperor Zhaozong appointed Li Wencong as the Grand Marshal of the Jin. Li Wencong lived up to Emperor Zhaozong’s high expectations, leading 300,000 troops and, after five years of arduous fighting, finally defeated the Jin invasion. That's a story for later, so let's leave it at that.

"By imperial decree, Li Wencong is hereby appointed as the top scholar of this imperial examination, and Tu Dejia and Shi Congtian as the second-ranking scholars. So be it!" Emperor Zhaozong of Tang was overjoyed.

"Thank you for your great favor, Your Majesty!" Li Wencong, Tu Dejia, and Shi Congtian hurriedly knelt down, expressing their gratitude to Emperor Zhaozong in unison.

"Your Majesty is wise! Long live the Emperor! Long live the Emperor! Long live the Emperor!" The chief examiner, Ouyang Fengguang, and the Left Prime Minister, Yuchi Jingde, also quickly knelt down to offer their congratulations.

"Hey! That lad Wencong has some talent, he's really impressive!..." Su Xiaoqian, who had been secretly protecting Li Wencong from the air using the Golden Light Technique, was so happy that tears welled up in her eyes.

Chapter 65 Beautiful Women Celebrate the Top Scholar's Success (

"By imperial decree, Li Wencong is hereby appointed as the top scholar of this imperial examination, and Tu Dejia and Shi Congtian as the second-ranked scholars.

"Your Majesty is wise. Long live the Emperor! Long live the Emperor! Long live the Emperor!" The chief examiner Ouyang Fengguang and the Left Prime Minister Yuchi Jingde also hurriedly knelt down to offer their congratulations.

People are in high spirits when they have a happy event. Following the prophecy in his dream, and with the help of the Left Prime Minister Yuchi Jingde, Emperor Zhaozong finally found his destined star, and was overjoyed. That night, to celebrate this happy event and the perfect success of the capital examination, Emperor Zhaozong held a banquet with 38 tables in the Golden Palace, where he entertained his officials.)

"My first cup of wine is offered to Heaven, to thank it for sending me such a young, promising, and exceptionally talented scholar!" Emperor Zhaozong of Tang raised his cup with both hands, reverently offering the imperial wine to Heaven and Earth.

"My second cup of wine is offered to my two beloved ministers, Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde and Chief Examiner Ouyang Fengguang, to thank you for finding such a young, promising, and exceptionally talented scholar for me!"

"Thank you for your great favor, Your Majesty." Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde and Chief Examiner Ouyang Fengguang hurriedly accepted the imperial cups and drank them down in one gulp.

"My third cup of wine is offered to the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong. You, undeterred by ten years of hardship, used your extraordinary willpower to overcome all obstacles and win the top prize. Your actions have set an example for the people of Tang Dynasty of the national spirit of 'not fearing hardship and persevering.' You are the pride of our Tang Dynasty!"

"Thank you for your great favor, Your Majesty. I will never forget your kindness." The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, was moved to tears, his hands trembling as he reverently accepted the imperial cup from Emperor Zhaozong and drank it down in one gulp.

After Emperor Zhaozong finished his toast, all the civil and military officials first offered their congratulations to the Emperor, followed by congratulations to the top scholar Li Wencong, the second-place scholar, the Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde, and the chief examiner Ouyang Fengguang. The scene was exceptionally lively, but we will not go into details.

That night, the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, "a thousand cups are not enough for a joyous occasion," staggered into his room, slightly drunk. His lover (as they had not yet formally married, hence the name) Su Xiaoqian also sweetly presented him with a cup of wine to congratulate him.

"My dear Wencong, congratulations on becoming the top scholar! May your future be limitless!" Su Xiaoqian said sweetly, raising her cup.

"Haha, congratulations on my wealth and beauty, and having a harem of wives and concubines!" Li Wencong, having achieved the highest rank in the imperial examination, was overjoyed, finally realizing his long-held ambition. He casually grabbed Su Xiaoqian and said, "And congratulations on our endless orgasms and boundless sexual pleasure! Haha."

"You deserve some credit for my success in the imperial examination. I want to thank you properly tonight." After saying this, Li Wencong cupped Su Xiaoqian's beautiful face and kissed her passionately.

“My handsome, charming, and intelligent darling, I’m going to have a proper celebration for you tonight!” After saying this, Su Xiaoqian immediately wrapped herself tightly around Li Wencong like a beautiful snake.

As the saying goes, people are in high spirits when they have good news, especially when it comes to “that.” There’s also a saying: the greatest joys in life are “the wedding night and the day of passing the imperial examination.” Tonight is the moment of celebration for Li Wencong, who has passed the imperial examination with top honors. How could Li Wencong and Su Xiaoqian not be happy? Look, these two sluts, once they’re entwined, are like dry tinder igniting a blazing fire, immediately igniting intensely.

The two of them immediately stripped each other naked. Then, each using all their skills, they swam freely in the sea of love…

Li Wencong displayed the true skills he had learned at the “Academy of Prostitutes”: First, he used his “touching skills,” extending his soft, boneless hands to touch every inch of Su Xiaoqian’s body from top to bottom, inside and out. Wherever his fingers touched, it was as if a gentle breeze was blowing, awakening Su Xiaoqian’s dormant desires and exciting every cell in her body.

Next, Li Wencong used his “kissing skills,” opening his warm, powerful lips and kissing Su Xiaoqian’s entire body from top to bottom, then from bottom to top, then from inside to outside, until her heart trembled…

When Li Wencong kissed the tip of her ear, it felt as if a stream of spring water seeped into her heart, making her heart race; when he kissed her two high, firm breasts, it felt as if a warm current flowed through her heart, making her feel warm and comfortable; when he kissed her most sensitive clitoris, it was as if the clitoris was struck by an electric current, waves of pleasure immediately rising from the clitoris and quickly spreading throughout her body, stimulating her to the extreme, making it unbearable…

It was Su Xiaoqian's turn to do the foreplay. She also used the "man-taming techniques" she had learned from "Su Nu," which excited Li Wencong immensely.

Su Xiaoqian first used the move of "lightly touching the arousal point," the arousal point being the place where men are most easily aroused. Su Xiaoqian extended her slender, white, and soft jade-like fingers, channeling her ethereal energy into acupoints on Li Wencong's body, and pressed them several times. Li Wencong immediately became excited, especially his previously drooping penis, which roared and transformed into a long, swollen intercontinental ballistic missile.

Su Xiaoqian then used a "double-peak clamping" technique, trapping Li Wencong's swollen intercontinental ballistic missile between her own voluptuous breasts, and rhythmically moving it up and down and side to side. The warm, soft sensation made the intercontinental ballistic missile swell even more, as if it could be launched at any moment, driving Li Wencong to the point of unbearable excitement.

"I can't take it anymore!" Under the onslaught of Su Xiaoqian's "Man-Controlling Techniques," Li Wencong finally couldn't bear it any longer. He suddenly shouted, immediately flipped over, and pressed Su Xiaoqian heavily beneath him. Then, he used a move he had learned from the "Palace Secret Manual," the "Dragon Enters the Well," and thrust his throbbing, swollen penis into Su Xiaoqian's warm and tight love hole. Then, he forcefully pounded into her...

"I'm going to fly! I'm going to squeeze... squeeze you to death!" At the height of her excitement, Su Xiaoqian unknowingly used the "Nine-Turn Vaginal Tightening" technique she had recently learned from the Nine Heavens Mystic Maiden. She suddenly contracted her jade lips, her fleshy mound, and her skin with great force. Under the combined assault of her jade lips, flesh, and skin, Li Wencong couldn't take it anymore. He yelled, and the intercontinental ballistic missile was launched, shooting deep into Su Xiaoqian's body…

"I can't take it anymore!" Encouraged by Li Wencong's intercontinental ballistic missile, Su Xiaoqian also cried out, her juices flowing like a dam bursting, spilling onto the ground…

Chapter 066: A Tale of Success in the

Imperial Examination While Li Wencong and Su Xiaoqian celebrated their success in the imperial examination in their room, a hilarious tale unfolded after Tu Dejia passed the exam.

Having failed the exam several times, he finally achieved second place at nearly sixty years old. He was overjoyed, his laughter seemingly emanating from his very bones. Especially after returning from the celebratory banquet held by Emperor Zhaozong of Tang in the Golden Palace, he was ecstatic!

This was understandable, as Tu Dejia had spent most of his life in poverty, suffering abuse from his wife, father-in-law, and mother-in-law, and ridicule from neighbors and classmates. Furthermore, the oldest person he had ever toasted with in his life was his father, and the highest-ranking official was also his father (a man who made a living by collecting scraps). Deep down, he would never dare to harbor such a hope: that one day an official of the seventh rank or higher would toast him—he wouldn't even dare to dream of it. But tonight, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang, the ruler of the country, had personally bestowed upon him a cup of imperial wine, and even high-ranking officials of the first rank, such as the Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde and the chief examiner Ouyang Fengguang, had toasted him. This was an extraordinary and absurd event for him! Therefore, Tu Dejia had every reason to be overjoyed! And he truly was overjoyed!! And interestingly, he chose to go mad at the time when his relatives, friends, and neighbors were celebrating his passing the imperial examination with top honors.

"Help! Someone, come quick!" When Tu Dejia's wife, Wang Qingye, saw Tu Dejia enter the room, slightly drunk, foaming at the mouth and laughing incessantly, she knew he was ecstatic and cried out for help.

"What's wrong? Whose life do you need saving?" Hearing his daughter's cries for help, Tu Dejia's father-in-law, Wang Aniu, stormed into the room in a rage.

At that moment, Wang Aniu was truly furious, and he had every reason to be angry. At this special moment, many relatives, friends, and neighbors were celebrating his son-in-law's passing the imperial examination—a joyous occasion marked by a life of hardship followed by a period of success. He was beaming as he accepted their congratulations and the vanity bestowed upon him. It was truly pitiful for him; before, his son-in-law had been poor and unsuccessful, unable to achieve anything, and Wang Aniu had been ashamed and scorned because of him. Now, thankfully, hard work had paid off, and heaven had taken pity on his son-in-law who had studied so hard for most of his life, finally granting him the honor of passing the examination. Could you say he wouldn't be so happy he was almost insane? But precisely at this moment (perhaps the most vain and happiest of his life), some short-lived man actually dared to hang himself or take poison, begging for help. He really wanted to raise his large, calloused hands, worn and calloused from a life of hardship, and slap him a few times.

Wang Aniu stormed into the room, raising his calloused hands to strike, but suddenly realized that the person waiting for "help" was none other than his own father, the recently successful second-place scholar in the imperial examinations. So he left his calloused hands hanging in mid-air, unable to strike.

Tu Dejia's mother-in-law, Hou Caixia, along with a large group of relatives, friends, and neighbors, rushed into the room upon hearing the commotion. They found the worthless, lowly Tu Dejia, ecstatic about passing the exams, lying on the floor, foaming at the mouth and talking nonsense, while his wife, Wang Qingye, was weeping in his arms. Everyone started talking at once.

"Alas, Tu Dejia's life is truly bitter and lowly. He finally passed the imperial examination, but he has no fortune to enjoy it," a neighbor sighed.

"How much a person eats and how much they use is all arranged by Heaven long ago. Alas, that fool Tu Dejia is really something. He clearly knows he has a lowly life, yet he still studies desperately, saying he must pass the examination. Alas, now look what's happened, he's gone mad with joy, and he's dragging his family down with him!" A relative shook his head anxiously.

"Stop arguing, calm down, listen to me: This is acute heart attack, caused by excessive excitement causing thick phlegm to enter the trachea. If someone hits him hard a few times, making him expel the phlegm, he'll get better," a relative who was an old traditional Chinese medicine doctor shouted loudly.

Everyone immediately stopped arguing. Although the old doctor's words sounded reasonable, no one present dared to hit Tu Dejia. Because at that time, everyone was extremely superstitious, believing that anyone who passed the imperial examination was a god sent down from Heaven. Now that Tu Dejia has passed the imperial examination and become the second-ranked scholar, he's practically a god in heaven! Who would dare offend him?

"You're his father-in-law, why don't you go and give him a few slaps? A father-in-law is like Mount Tai!" a neighbor urged Wang Aniu.

Who knew that Wang Aniu, a cowardly and timid man who wouldn't even dare kill a chicken, was being asked to hit the second-ranked scholar—a god in heaven? Even if you gave him a water vat to embolden him, he wouldn't dare.

"You're his mother-in-law, why don't you go and give him a few slaps? Otherwise, he'll go crazy, it'll be so pitiful!" another neighbor urged Hou Caixia.

Hou Caixia, a chicken vendor and a seasoned chicken butcher, was usually quite bold. But now, to be asked to fight the top scholar, to fight a celestial being—she initially hesitated. However, after countless urgings from others, and to save her son-in-law and for her daughter's future happiness, she finally steeled herself: "If I don't go to hell, who will?" Trembling, she raised her large, wrinkled hand, covered in chicken blood, and slapped Tu Dejia hard across the mouth, shouting, "You worthless thief, let's see if you're still crazy!"

Hou Caixia's slap was indeed devastating; good heavens, just one blow broke her hand bones. She was filled with regret, thinking she was being punished by heaven for hitting the top scholar. She quickly and secretly went into her house and applied some Yunnan Baiyao (a traditional Chinese medicine) to feel much better.

Hou Caixia's slap really worked. After being hit, Tu Dejia coughed violently and suddenly spat out several mouthfuls of phlegm, and he actually felt better.

"Why am I sitting on the ground? What's going on?" After regaining consciousness, Tu Dejia found himself sitting on the ground, with a large group of relatives, friends, and neighbors looking at him and laughing. Not knowing what embarrassing thing had happened, he quickly got up.

"Alright, alright, the second-place scholar is all better now, let's continue drinking!" The congratulatory relatives, friends, and neighbors scattered with a "whoosh."

"Why am I sitting on the ground? What's going on?" Tu Dejia, having regained consciousness, found himself sitting on the ground, surrounded by a large group of relatives, friends, and neighbors chuckling at him . Not knowing what embarrassing thing had happened, he quickly got up.

"Alright, alright, the second-place scholar is all better now, let's continue drinking!" The congratulatory relatives, friends, and neighbors scattered with a "whoosh."

After the relatives, friends, and neighbors dispersed, Tu Dejia asked his wife, Wang Qingye, what had happened. Wang Qingye wouldn't say, afraid of upsetting him, only softly saying, "It's nothing, don't worry about it. Today is a joyous day to celebrate your success in the imperial examinations, let's have a good time!"

Ha, has Wang Qingye changed her ways? Normally, she always yelled at and threatened Tu Dejia, but today, the moment Tu Dejia passed the imperial examination, she completely changed her "shrewish" nature and became gentle and considerate towards him. Sigh, Wang Qingye is such a materialistic little woman!

Tu Dejia, however, dared not appreciate or accept Wang Qingye's excessive enthusiasm: "Madam, please let me go! What have I done wrong? Please, have mercy on me! Don't be so nice to me, okay? I'm scared!"

Well, this wretched Tu Dejia is more afraid of his wife than of the devil! It seems that Wang Qingye, this "shrew," has left a deep psychological scar on him.

"Don't be afraid, you didn't do anything wrong. I sincerely want to treat you well now. You're the second-place scholar now, I'm too busy spoiling you to dare twist your ears or prick your fingers with needles like before. Don't mention the past, it's very unlucky. From now on, you're my master, you're my 'Emperor,' I won't mistreat you like before. You can touch my breasts whenever you want, and you're welcome to do whatever you want with me anytime, hehe." Wang Qingye apologized to Tu Dejia, hoping to gain the forgiveness of her husband—no, her second-place scholar, the 'Emperor' in her heart.

Tu Dejia, however, was stunned.

"Let's have some fun! My dear, clever husband, my wonderful husband, tonight I'll serve you well (like you used to support me), I promise you'll experience a 'family bliss,' a pleasure you've never known before!" Wang Qingye continued tenderly.

Tu Dejia, however, remained stunned.

In truth, deep down, Wang Qingye was incredibly lewd. Because Wang Qingye was a woman with large breasts and a large bottom, and possessed a pair of alluring, seductive eyes, sex experts at the time discovered that such women had extremely high libido and were incredibly lewd. How lewd? So lewd that she craved meat every day and couldn't tolerate a vegetarian diet.

Given how lewd Wang Qingye was, why was she so sexually frigid before? Not only was she inferior to ordinary women, but she was far less sexually active than most. For over 40 years, she never once asked Tu Dejia to "do" her, not even when she was in her prime, not even when Tu Dejia was desperate and impatient, like a child wanting candy, wanting to "do" her "fairy cave," she always refused without hesitation!

"Che, your wife Wang Qingye is either sexually perverted or suffers from severe frigidity, otherwise why wouldn't she want to eat sausages?" When some of Tu Dejia's classmates learned of his predicament, they strongly felt indignant on his behalf and suggested he take his wife to a women's hospital for a checkup.

Actually, the reason Wang Qingye didn't want to "do" with Tu Dejia in the past was because she was a materialistic and aloof woman. She believed that she, a delicate and fair-skinned beauty, had somehow been unlucky in her past life to marry Tu Dejia, a man who was neither handsome nor wealthy, lacked official rank, and was incredibly eccentric. So, even though she was burning with desire deep inside, she outwardly maintained a facade of indifference and coldness.

Now, however, the situation was completely different. Tu Dejia had passed the imperial examination and become the second-highest scorer in the imperial examinations, naturally making his good looks overshadow any flaws. He was still the same man, but now, in Wang Qingye's eyes, he had become a handsome young master, a prince on a white horse!

When a woman falls deeply in love with a man, it's truly extraordinary. Thus, Wang Qingye, who had suppressed her desires for most of her life, immediately broke through all obstacles and erupted like a volcano in Iceland.

While Tu Dejia was still stunned, Wang Qingye, this lewd woman, grew impatient and immediately stripped herself naked, then quickly and swiftly stripped Tu Dejia naked as well.

Previously, Tu Dejia had always taken care of all the heavy work. What happened today? Tu Dejia was terrified, his face pale, and he cried out, "My wife, how could I trouble you with such heavy work? Let me do it."

"You are my good husband, my good master. You have always served me so well. Today, let me serve you properly," said Wang Qingye, the harlot, in a coquettish and seductive voice.

Wang Qingye then pressed Tu Dejia down onto the bed, stretched out her white, tender, and smooth jade-like hand, and grasped Tu Dejia's drooping penis. With a single stroke, the penis immediately swelled up. Then, Wang Qingye opened her hot jade lips and sucked on the round and large glans, stroking it for a while. Tu Dejia laughed excitedly, "Eek, eh!"

"The timing is perfect!" Wang Qingye quickly turned her plump, sexy buttocks around, parted her two swollen (like freshly steamed buns) lips, opened her tight, firm slit, and then stretched out her slender fingers, took Tu Dejia's swollen, large penis, aimed it at the spot, tilted her head back, closed her eyes (in enjoyment), and sat down hard. The swollen penis sank all the way into Wang Qingye's lovely, beautiful hole, and then she vigorously thrust back and forth, up and down, until Tu Dejia and Wang Qingye were screaming and ecstatic...

After a long, long time, Tu Dejia and Wang Qingye returned to reality from the craziest wave of pleasure.

"My dear husband, was it comfortable?" Wang Qingye asked in a fatherly voice, leaning against Tu Dejia's chest.

"My wife, you're amazing. I've never enjoyed such a blissful life. Thank you," Tu Dejia said sweetly, kissing Wang Qingye passionately.

This is understandable. In the past, Tu Dejia was down on his luck, and his wife was dissatisfied; it would have been impossible for him to enjoy such "high-class treatment" today.

In the following days, Wang Qingye treated Tu Dejia with the same "high-class treatment," making the old lecher so excited that he forgot who he was.

Chapter 067 Star Official's Tour of the Capital

According to the Tang Dynasty's imperial examination system, all newly appointed top scholars (Zhuangyuan) were required to tour the capital for three days with an imperial decree.

The next morning, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, toured the capital for three days

with an imperial decree. To celebrate the auspicious star, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang held a special opening ceremony for Li Wencong's tour the next morning—an honor never before enjoyed by any newly appointed top scholar.

"By imperial decree, the tour of the capital by the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, is now open! And I bestow upon him three cups of imperial wine as a congratulatory gift. So be it!" Emperor Zhaozong was overjoyed.

"Thank you for your great favor, Your Majesty!" After kneeling and bowing in gratitude, the newly appointed top scholar Li Guowencong hurriedly stood up, accepted the three cups of imperial wine offered by Emperor Zhaozong of Tang, and drank them all in one gulp.

"Today is the first day of the new top scholar's procession through the capital with the imperial decree. Let's go see the top scholar!" a large group of middle-aged women called out.

"I heard that this year's top scholar, Li Wencong, is incredibly talented. Emperor Zhaozong of Tang even held a special opening ceremony for his official tour of the capital and bestowed upon him three cups of imperial wine. Such an honor!

" said a woman in her late twenties. "I heard that this year's top scholar, Li Wencong, is extremely talented."

"I also heard that he is tall, handsome, and dashing, truly resembling Pan An in appearance, and as handsome as someone who throws fruit at you!" [During the Jin Dynasty, Pan Yue (also known as Pan An) from Zhongmu, Xingyang, was extremely handsome. One day, he went hunting in the countryside, and many young women and women saw him and were amazed by his beauty. So everyone threw fruit at him to express their admiration. Later, people used the metaphor of throwing fruit to describe a handsome man.] "

I also heard that he is dashing and debonair." "

..."

Thus, the streets of Chang'an were deserted as all the young girls, women, and even old women flocked to catch a glimpse of the handsome and dashing Li Wencong,

the top scholar of the imperial examination. On one side of Chang'an Street, a large group of young girls, women, and old women stood on the balconies of a row of houses, preparing a plethora of fruits and vegetables for the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, who was described as "as handsome as Pan An and as dashing as a

fruit-throwing contestant." They thought, "This time, we must give our idol a proper welcome." After drinking the three cups of imperial wine offered by Emperor Zhaozong of Tang, Li Wencong mounted his tall horse and began his three-day tour of the capital.

Li Wencong happily bowed and thanked the people along the way, unaware that he had already become the prey of all the young girls, women, and old women of Chang'an.

"Back then, I harbored great ambitions and swore before my fellow villagers that I would win the imperial examination. Today, I have indeed lived up to their expectations. Hahaha." "

Back when I was down on my luck, those two neighboring women's mothers humiliated me, saying I was too poor to marry any pretty women. Today I've become the top scholar in the imperial examination, tomorrow I'll definitely marry ten or eight beautiful wives, and those two snobbish old women will be furious!"

"Wow, so many people on Chang'an Street have come to see me. Wow, so many beautiful women! Even when Pan An passed by, there weren't this many beautiful women watching!"

As the saying goes, "Good things make one think of desires," and Li Wencong was lost in his reverie, feeling quite pleased with himself...

Just as Li Wencong walked into the corner of Chang'an Street, a large group of young girls, women, and old women were making a fuss.

"Wow, the dashing new top scholar has arrived!"

"The handsome man has arrived!"

"He's as handsome as Pan An!"

As Li Wencong walked into the circle of young girls, women, and old women on the corner of Chang'an Street, someone shouted, "He's here! Quick, throw the dice!"

Suddenly, a whole bunch of fruits—pears, bananas, apples, and more—along with a ton of greens like spinach, violets, and rapeseed, rained down on Li Wencong. "Hurry up, he's almost gone! Throw it! "

a little girl said anxiously to an old woman eating a stinky durian beside her.

"Do we really have to throw it?" the old woman asked.

"Oh dear, stop nagging! Throw it! He's almost gone!" the little girl said, stamping her foot nervously.

"Fine, I'll throw it! Who's afraid?" With that, the old woman aimed her half-eaten stinky durian at Li Wencong and hurled it at the newly crowned champion.

"Ugh, what smells so bad!" "It turned out that the stinky durian had hit Li Wencong on the head, and the stench was almost unbearable for him.

But the treatment Li Wencong received didn't stop there.

Just as he passed the 'Ruyilou Hotel,' a large group of female colleagues who had worked with him at the 'Bathhouse' (including, of course, Xie Caixia, the 'Lightning Hand' trio of 'heroines' whom Li Wencong had 'done' with) were watching. They had also prepared a large number of 'special' gifts for the newly crowned champion, Li Wencong.

'Here it comes! Hurry, throw it!'" "A pretty girl shouted loudly.

Instantly, clothes, scarves, and a whole bunch of other items rained down on Li Wencong.

The "Heroine" trio's lightning-fast Xie Caixia was having a blast, quickly unhooking her bra and hurling it at Li Wencong with a "whoosh.

" Octopus-Hand Hu Fengji, not satisfied with just throwing, simply unhooked her skirt and hurled it at Li Wencong with a "whoosh.

" Little Chili Su Shuli, still not satisfied, simply unhooked her skirt and hurled it at Li Wencong with a "whoosh."

"Wow, what is this wet, smelly, and fishy thing?" "It turns out that the bra, the skirt, and everything else hit the head and face of the newly crowned top scholar, Li Wencong. The water still stained with Little Chili Su Shuli's fluids was even covering Li Wencong's head! Wow, the peculiar fishy smell of those girls almost made Li Wencong faint.

That night, when Li Wencong's girlfriend, Su Xiaoqian, saw his 'miserable state,' her heart ached terribly. His scholar's crown was torn to shreds by bullets of fruit and vegetables; his scholar's robe was filthy and smelly from stinky durians and bananas; and what pained Su Xiaoqian even more was that Li Wencong's arms were almost broken by the fruit bullets." His face was bruised and battered from fruit slingshots; even worse, his forehead was scraggly with several sharp edges from the fruit slingshots…

That evening, when Su Xiaoqian saw Li Wencong's miserable state, her heart ached terribly. His scholar's crown was torn to shreds by fruit and vegetable slingshots, his scholar's robe was filthy and smelly from stinky durians and bananas; what pained Su Xiaoqian even more was that Li Wencong's arms were almost broken from the fruit slingshots, his face was bruised and battered from the fruit slingshots, and even worse, his forehead was scraggly with several sharp edges from the fruit slingshots…

“Wow, so this is what it's like to be the top scholar and parade through the capital?” Su Xiaoqian asked as she helped Li Wencong fix his scholar's crown.

“Not necessarily, it's just that I'm handsome, which attracted all those female admirers,” Li Wencong said with a wry smile.

“What do you mean?” "Su Xiaoqian stopped what she was doing and asked, puzzled.

"It's because you and I are as handsome and dashing as Pan An, the ancient Chinese heartthrob, that we attract so many girls to fawn over us. No, there's a whole bunch of young girls, young women, and old ladies throwing fruit at me. Look at all these dirty clothes, all the injuries on my body—it's all because I'm handsome, dashing, and charming. Sigh, what can I do?" Li Wencong continued with a wry smile.

"You unlucky bastard, attracting so many women everywhere, you deserve it!" Su Xiaoqian chuckled.

After a pause, looking at the bruises on Li Wencong's face and head, Su Xiaoqian felt a pang of heartache. She quickly steamed a few eggs, peeled one, wrapped a silver coin inside, and used it to wipe the bruises on Li Wencong's face and head, tears streaming down her face as she did so.

Li Wencong was deeply moved and couldn't help but think wildly, "What a wonderful woman! It would be great to find several like her, and even in my next life, I'd want to be with a woman like her."

Su Xiaoqian's care and consideration deeply touched Li Wencong. Looking at her delicate hands moving back and forth, and then at her two large, snowy breasts swaying with her body, he couldn't help but feel a surge of pleasure, a stirring rising from the depths of his heart. His acupuncture point whip, which had been gathering its strength, instantly swelled and heated up.

"Thinking about it... I want to eat meat." Su Xiaoqian's delicate hands, which were wiping the bruises from Li Wencong's face and head, accidentally brushed against his swollen, hot acupoint whip, and she couldn't help but smile.

"I want to eat your flesh. Let me touch your big snowy peaks first." Li Wencong was already aroused, and Su Xiaoqian's teasing only fueled his lust. He immediately stretched out his hands, which were used to touching beautiful women's snowy peaks, and began to vigorously knead and rub Su Xiaoqian's round, swollen, and elastic breasts until Su Xiaoqian stopped what she was doing, plopped down on Li Wencong's lap, and gasped for breath.

“I’ll touch your horny ass again.” Li Wencong, enjoying the touch, slid his hands down to Su Xiaoqian’s buttocks, groping and squeezing them passionately until Su Xiaoqian moaned repeatedly.

“I’ll dig into your hole again.” Excited by the touch, Li Wencong plunged his hands into Su Xiaoqian’s plump, warm, and moist hole, digging vigorously until Su Xiaoqian suddenly cried out, “I can’t take it anymore! I want it!”

“It’s time.” Li Wencong chuckled lewdly, immediately pulling out the swollen, hot acupoint whip and striking Su Xiaoqian’s hole. He then used the “Woman-Controlling Whip Technique,” three lashes to the left, four to the right, seven to the top, eight to the bottom, until the alluring Su Xiaoqian was weak in the knees, moaning loudly, her vaginal fluids overflowing…

Afterwards, Li Wencong asked Su Xiaoqian if she felt good. Su Xiaoqian shyly nestled into his arms and said bashfully, “It felt so good! Where did you learn such amazing skills?”

"I was reading 'The Romance of the Tang Dynasty' the day before yesterday. General Yuchi Gong's divine whip was incredibly powerful, and I was deeply moved. So I transformed his '36 Forms of the Divine Whip' into '36 Moves of the Goddess Whip.' It seems pretty powerful, right?" Li Wencong laughed smugly.

Chapter 68: The Embroidered Ball Flutters

to Invite the Prince Consort 1 The next morning, after finishing breakfast, the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong led his entourage on a tour of the capital. On this day, he was once again subjected to the same high-class treatment from the young girls, young women, and old women of the capital, who eagerly threw fruits, vegetables, and rotten eggs at him. As a result, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, suffered again: his scholar's crown was once again riddled with holes by special bullets such as fruits and vegetables, and his scholar's robe was filthy and smelly from the special shells such as rotten eggs. Li Wencong's arms and handsome face were covered in bruises from the high-class shells such as fruits, vegetables, and rotten eggs. Even worse, Li Wencong's forehead was bruised by fruit bullets, and his eyes, which could charm women without consequence, were swollen and red from the rotten eggs, so swollen that he could hardly open them. That evening, Li Wencong's gentle and considerate mistress, Su Xiaoqian, who was "so gentle that women envied and men desired," couldn't help but stroke every bruise on Li Wencong's head, face, and forehead, and sobbed for a while. Later, Li Wencong was moved by Su Xiaoqian's gentleness and consideration, so he used all his skills to "feed" her a feast down there...

Nothing more was said that night. The next day, the newly appointed top scholar finished washing up and continued to lead his entourage on the third day of the official tour of the capital. As the procession approached Yining Palace, Li Wencong suddenly recalled the day he had enjoyed Princess Qingqing's company at Minzhong Temple. There, Princess Qingqing, nestled sweetly against his warm chest, had instructed him: "Brother Wencong, I'm yours now. When you tour the capital after becoming the top scholar, please make sure to pass through Yining Palace. I'll be waiting for you there." Although Li Wencong didn't know Princess Qingqing's true intentions or why she insisted he pass through Yining Palace, he was determined to obey her orders. She was not only his beloved but also a princess of noble birth, the current Princess Qingqing.

"Pass on my command: the procession marches towards Yining Palace!" With this thought, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, hastily issued the order. (The story then

shifts to another topic.) After Princess Qingqing was delighted by Li Wencong at Minzhong Temple, she returned to Yining Palace. Every day, her mind was filled with thoughts of Li Wencong's handsome, dashing figure that could charm any woman, his charming voice and smile, and his long, thick, and hard member that could drive any young girl wild. Even in her dreams, she couldn't help but reminisce, unable to shake off the image.

"Ah, I wonder how that little devil Li Wencong did in the imperial examination? Will he become the top scholar? And if he does, will he remember my instructions and pass by Yining Palace when he tours the capital?" Princess Qingqing counted the days in her mind, leaning against the window railing, lost in thought, so much so that she lost her appetite, often only managing a few bites before giving up. "Alas, what is love in this world? It makes so many young girls in love wither away for it!"

"Princess, what's wrong? Are you sick?" The maid Chunxiang saw Princess Qingqing leaning against the window railing day and night, lost in thought, often not wanting to eat or drink, so she quickly went to ask.

"I'm fine. I just feel a bit down," Princess Qingqing replied.

"Are you thinking about that devil Li Wencong again?" Chunxiang chuckled at Princess Qingqing. "

I'll beat you to death, you cheeky little servant!" Princess Qingqing was furious that Chunxiang had hit the nail on the head.

"Alright, stop fooling around. Go and find out if Li Wencong has become the top scholar in the imperial examination? Will he go on a grand tour of the capital after becoming the top scholar?" Princess Qingqing rested for a while and then ordered Chunxiang.

"I can go and find out about the prince consort, but when he marries you, don't forget me!" Chunxiang said mischievously, making a face.

"If you keep talking nonsense, I'll tie you up and break your legs!" Hearing Chunxiang calling the Prince Consort "Prince Consort" so familiarly, Princess Qingqing became even more furious and embarrassed.

...

"Reporting to the Princess, that lad Li Wencong is truly remarkable! He passed all three trials and was personally selected by the Emperor as the new top scholar!"

Hearing Chunxiang's wonderful report, Princess Qingqing felt sweeter than if she had drunk honey. Thinking that she could soon marry him and then be with her beloved day and night, in blissful moments, two blushes rose on her cheeks.

"Reporting to the Princess, that lad Li Wencong... no, the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong has received the Emperor's favor, being granted three cups of imperial wine, and has begun his three-day tour of the capital."

"Wow! My lover is going on his tour of the capital so soon! He'll be passing by my Yining Palace soon! No, I need to make thorough preparations first!" Hearing Chunxiang's report, Princess Qingqing sprang to attention, immediately becoming much more alert. She stood up to prepare for the "throwing the embroidered ball" ceremony.

"Issue my decree: prepare the carriage for the Cining Palace." The Cining Palace was the residence of the Empress, and Princess Qingqing wanted to discuss the "throwing the embroidered ball" with her mother.

"Issue the Princess's decree: prepare the carriage for the Cining Palace!" Princess Qingqing's personal eunuch, Lin Kundi, shouted loudly.

Soon, Princess Qingqing arrived at the Cining Palace. Her mother, Empress Huang Yifeng, hurriedly instructed her maid, Qiu Tao, to invite Princess Qingqing into a private room.

"Daughter greets Mother." Princess Qingqing hastily knelt down to greet her mother, the Empress.

"Qing'er, why did you rush here instead of resting in Yining Palace? What urgent matter is it?" A few days ago, Empress Huang Yifeng heard from Princess Qingqing's maid Chunxiang that Princess Qingqing's mood and health had not been good these past few days. Concerned for her well-being, she instructed her to rest in the palace and not to come to Cining Palace unless necessary.

"It's like this," Princess Qingqing replied, "last night at midnight, I dreamt that the Old Man of the Moon told me: 'By imperial decree of the Queen Mother, you are granted a good marriage. Your destined one will appear near Yining Palace the day after tomorrow. Please set up an incense altar near Yining Palace and prepare to throw the embroidered ball. When the auspicious time arrives, throw the ball down. Whoever catches it will be your ideal husband. Remember this well.'" To realize her dream, Princess Qingqing had already devised a plan on her way to Cining Palace. She fabricated this "story" of the Old Man of the Moon appearing in her dream, knowing that her mother was very superstitious and would surely do her best to help her.

Chunxiang was amused by Princess Qingqing's "story" of the matchmaker appearing in her dream, and couldn't help but chuckle. She knew it was a lie Princess Qingqing had fabricated to gain the Empress's trust.

"What are you laughing at? Chunxiang, you little servant, are you itching for a beating? You won't feel at ease unless you're beaten, will you?" Princess Qingqing was terrified that Chunxiang would expose her lie and ruin everything, so she quickly stopped her.

"Very well, issue this imperial decree: construct an incense altar near Yining Palace for Princess Qingqing to use when she throws her embroidered ball." Having heard Princess Qingqing's fabricated story of the Old Man of the Moon appearing in her dream, the Empress Dowager believed it without question. On the other hand, Princess Qingqing was getting on in years, and the Empress Dowager was eager to find her a suitable husband. Today, it was a perfect match bestowed by the Queen Mother! She was overjoyed and readily agreed to Princess Qingqing's request.

That morning (the third day after Li Wencong's grand tour of the capital with the imperial decree), an explosive news story, no less significant than Li Wencong's passing the imperial examination, broke in Chang'an—Princess Qingqing would be holding a "throwing embroidered ball to find a husband" event today at No. 18, Chang'an Third Road (near People's Square near Yining Palace) using an incense altar!

This explosive news immediately attracted the lustful gazes of all the men on Chang'an Street.

According to in-depth investigations by relevant personnel at the time, the greatest indicator of success for a man (in the Tang Dynasty) was: to have money and a house, a grand sedan chair and sedan bearers, power and nobility and servants, and most importantly, to have beautiful women, the more the better!

As a result, Chang'an Street immediately erupted in excitement. Every man in Chang'an knew that if Princess Qingqing caught the embroidered ball this time, he would not only possess the beautiful Princess Qingqing, but he would also immediately rise to the status of a member of the imperial family, meaning he would have money, power, beautiful women… in short, everything he could want!

Therefore, all the men in Chang'an Street (including some men from out of town who had come to stay) got up very early that day, scrambling to crowd into the People's Square near Yining Palace. Everyone was vying for a good spot, hoping to have a better chance of catching the embroidered ball. Some men, to increase their chances of catching the ball, either used a long bamboo pole or a bamboo paw; some even carried high stools and sat high up, truly standing out from the crowd. So, when the clock struck 7 a.m. (while Princess Qingqing was still asleep!), People's Square was already packed with people, densely packed with lecherous men from Chang'an Avenue.

At 9 a.m., Princess Qingqing finally arrived, her red sedan chair curtains drawn open, and she gracefully stepped out. With light, delicate steps and a swaying waist, she slowly ascended the platform, casting alluring glances and a charming smile at the male audience. Instantly, the men present were captivated by her allure, their muscles trembling. A thunderous applause and whistles erupted.

"Wow! Princess Qingqing is so beautiful, like a celestial being, as delicate as a moon goddess!" a lecherous man shouted.

"Wow, Princess Qingqing's breasts are so big, her buttocks so full, she's a natural heartthrob!" an old lecher yelled.

"Wow, I want to touch Princess Qingqing's plump Mount Fuji, I want Princess Qingqing's!" A brick-and-stone old man whistled. 02-13
Chapter 069 The Seductive Princess's Embroidered Ball to Recruit a Prince Consort 2

"Wow, I want to touch Princess Qingqing's plump Mount Fuji, I want Princess Qingqing's!" A brick-and-stone old man whistled.

"Quiet down, everyone! I will now read out the rules of the 'Toss the Embroidered Ball' event." The host of the event shouted, "By the Empress's decree: Today, Princess Qingqing is solemnly holding the 'Toss the Embroidered Ball to Choose a Consort' event. All men residing in Chang'an Street who are 18 years of age or older, whether married or unmarried; whether an 18-year-old young master or a 60-year-old old man; whether handsome or disabled, as long as they are men, are eligible to participate in the marriage contest. ... Whether a prince or a commoner, whoever catches the embroidered ball will immediately be chosen as the consort by imperial decree, and the marriage will take place on the same day, with the wedding night being the first night."

The host's speech immediately caused an even greater sensation.

"Wow, a wedding night, a consummation of marriage! I'm so happy! Princess, hurry up and throw the embroidered ball! I want to make love with you right now!" A 40-something-year-old lecher, who hadn't married in over 40 years and hadn't "done" a woman's cunt, shouted droolingly.

"Stop arguing! Princess Qingqing is mine! I'll catch the embroidered ball in a minute!" A fat, pig-headed, tattooed monk raised his long staff and shouted.

"You stinking monk, what are you doing here? Don't you know that according to the laws of the Tang Dynasty, monks are not allowed to marry?" The monk was immediately attacked by all the men present.

"If Princess Qingqing is willing to marry me, I will immediately renounce my vows!" the monk argued.

"Stop arguing with me! I'll definitely catch the embroidered ball in a minute, and Princess Qingqing will be my wife!" An old man, blind in one eye and lame in one leg, who was almost 60 years old, raised his bamboo rake and shouted.

"Ah ha, you ugly, old, stinking bastard, don't you take a piss and look at yourself in the mirror? You're almost in your coffin and you're still trying to compete with us for a wife?!" The lame, blind old man was immediately subjected to insults and attacks from all the other men.

Leaving aside the men's commotion and mutual attacks, Princess Qingqing, anxiously waiting in a side room beside the incense altar, called out impatiently, "Chunxiang, go out and see if the new top scholar, Li Wencong, has arrived yet?"

"Reporting to Your Highness: The new top scholar, Li Wencong, hasn't appeared yet, but I saw two terrifying, stinking men. One is a drunken monk, fat as a pig's head, covered in tattoos, with a ferocious appearance—truly terrifying! The other is an old man, not only blind in one eye but also lame in one leg, looking almost 70 years old, even older than Your Highness's grandfather!" Chunxiang went out to look for a while and immediately reported what she had seen to the princess.

Upon hearing Chunxiang's words, Princess Qingqing's heart clenched with distress and pain. "My little darling, why haven't you come yet? Have you forgotten our vows of eternal love? Have you forgotten our unforgettable love (and passion)?" she lamented. "

Oh dear," she continued, "I wonder if this practice of tossing the embroidered ball to choose a husband is right or wrong? What if that fat, tattooed, grotesque monk catches it? What if that blind, lame, nearly 70-year-old stinking old man catches it?" Princess Qingqing pondered for a while, her worries fading, and tears welled in her eyes, making her appear even more pitiful.

Meanwhile, Princess Qingqing was lost in her worries in her room. Meanwhile, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, while touring the capital in celebration, suddenly recalled the day he had enjoyed Princess Qingqing's company at the Minzhong Temple. He remembered her sweet words as she lay on his warm chest, giving him her final instructions. He immediately led his entourage toward Yining Palace.

"Reporting to Your Excellency, there's a huge crowd gathered ahead, completely blocking the way! The procession can't pass! Please decide what to do!" When the procession reached the vicinity of People's Square, the soldiers leading the way noticed the problem and immediately reported to Li Wencong.

"What kind of unruly people are gathering here so rudely? Order the lead team to beat drums and gongs loudly, shouting slogans, and make way for them!" Because this was the only route to Yining Palace, Li Wencong had no choice but to order his troops to force their way through.

"Reporting to Your Excellency, despite the marching team's loud gongs and drums and shouts, the assembled crowd stands as still as a mountain, refusing to budge an inch. The procession cannot pass. Please, Your Excellency, make a decision." The soldier leading the way, helpless, reported to Li Wencong again.

Little did Li Wencong know that these men of Chang'an Street, having finally found a place to stand, were happily dreaming of catching the embroidered ball and fantasizing about their wedding night with Princess Qingqing and "drying" her cunt. They didn't care that you were the newly appointed top scholar. At this critical moment, even if the emperor himself came, they probably wouldn't give way.

"Reporting to Your Excellency, should we report to the Emperor and dispatch the Imperial Guards to clear the way?" Because Li Wencong was traveling through the capital with an imperial decree, he had the authority to dispatch the Imperial Guards.

"No need," Li Wencong said. "Just barge in and see who's illegally gathering, and what their purpose is." Li Wencong was a benevolent top scholar, fearing that dispatching the Imperial Guards would endanger innocent lives. Furthermore, he was traveling through the capital on imperial orders and didn't want his joyous occasion tainted with bloodshed. Therefore, he ordered Yuwen Huaji, the leader of the escort team, to investigate.

"Reporting to Your Excellency, there's only one reason everyone's gathered: a princess is holding a 'throwing embroidered ball to choose a husband' event."

"Which princess?" Li Wencong was startled to hear about a princess holding such an event and quickly pressed for details.

"I heard it's Princess Qingqing."

"What? Princess Qingqing is 'throwing an embroidered ball to choose a husband'?" Li Wencong's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this, feeling extremely depressed. "Princess Qingqing, Princess Qingqing, if you want to choose a husband, just choose me right away! Why hold this 'throwing an embroidered ball to choose a husband' event here? Oh, right, have you changed your mind? Have you forgotten our vows of eternal love? Have you forgotten our unforgettable love (or intimacy)? Oh, I know, you think I'm poor, you think I have no achievements or future, so you've sent me to watch the spectacle and humiliate me. Do you know that I'm not the same person I was before? I've already become the top scholar in the imperial examination!" The more Li Wencong thought about it, the more frustrated he became.

Chapter 70 The Prince Consort Receives the Imperial Decree to Marry Two Beauties

"What? Princess Qingqing is 'throwing an embroidered ball to choose a husband'?" The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, felt a sudden pang of frustration upon hearing this, feeling extremely depressed.

This Princess Qingqing was the kind and beautiful girl who had paid for the redemption of the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, that day, and who had accompanied him to Minzhong Temple, ultimately having passionate lovemaking (deflowering) with him in a side room of the temple.

Hearing that Princess Qingqing was "throwing her embroidered ball to choose a husband," the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, was anxious and wanted to rush to her side immediately. However, a large group of men who had accepted the invitation blocked his way, and no matter how much he shouted, they wouldn't make way. Frustrated, Li Wencong raised his head and cried out, "Why is Heaven so cruel to me, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong?"

The tall, white horse beneath Li Wencong was a divine steed. Hearing its master's cry, it seemed to understand human nature, and it reared up, raised its head, and let out a long neigh that lasted for several minutes.

Good heavens! The long, drawn-out neigh of that divine steed immediately startled a remarkable woman—Princess Qingqing.

Princess Qingqing was in her room worrying about her new top scholar, Li Wencong, when she suddenly heard a horse's neigh. Touched by the sound, she immediately instructed her maid, Chunxiang, "Quick, go out and see! The neighing of people and the neighing of horses—is that little devil arriving?"

"Your Highness," Chunxiang replied, "that little devil has indeed arrived, sitting on that tall horse. But there are many people blocking his way, so he can't get in. He's anxiously whipping the horse." Chunxiang went out to observe for a moment and immediately returned to report to Princess Qingqing.

"That little devil is here! Quick, let's go out and see!" Princess Qingqing hurriedly helped her maid Chunxiang out of the room. She rubbed her forehead and looked around for a while, her heart, which had just settled, suddenly pounding again. "How unlucky that devil is! He's separated from me by a human wall at least 100 meters away. How can my light, floating embroidered ball possibly reach him?" Princess Qingqing couldn't help but feel sad again.

Just as Princess Qingqing was heartbroken, the timekeeper stepped forward to report, "Your Highness, the auspicious time has arrived. Please throw the embroidered ball quickly!"

"The auspicious time is an order!" Princess Qingqing had no choice but to reluctantly hold up the bright red embroidered ball, the one that every man present deeply loved. Before throwing the embroidered ball, Princess Qingqing silently prayed to Heaven and Earth: "Heavenly spirits, earthly spirits, I humbly beseech the Bodhisattva to grant my wish, let this embroidered ball convey my heartfelt words, and give it to my beloved to seal our unending love!"

Having finished her prayer, Princess Qingqing immediately tossed the embroidered ball upwards, sending it towards the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong. Then, closing her eyes, she and her maid, Chunxiang, gracefully returned to her room. Sitting down in her room, her mind was in turmoil: "The embroidered ball has been thrown; is it a blessing or a curse?"

"If it's meant for me, and the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong catches it, that would be wonderful! Tonight, I can rekindle our romance. A night of passion is worth a thousand pieces of gold; how blissful that would be!" Thinking of this, a delicate blush rose on Princess Qingqing's face.

"What if that drunken monk or some blind, lame old man catches it?" Princess Qingqing dared not think further, and a surge of resentment rose to the heavens.

Just then, the Antarctic Immortal was meditating with his eyes closed when he suddenly felt two streams of resentment rushing to his chest, making his "blood boil." Startled, he wondered what terrible thing had happened. He quickly calculated with his fingers in his sleeve and couldn't help but chuckle, "The Star of Literature and the Fairy of Herbs were supposed to meet today, but who knew they would encounter such misfortune? It was I who petitioned the Jade Emperor to send the Star of Literature to the mortal realm. Well, 'to do a good deed to the end,' I'll grant them their wish today." Thinking this, he called out, "Where is the White Crane Fairy?"

"What are your orders, Master?" The White Crane Fairy, hearing her master's call, hurriedly stepped forward to reply.

"Come with me to the mortal realm."

The Antarctic Immortal mounted his white crane and immediately flew towards the sky above Yining Palace.

When the Antarctic Immortal arrived above People's Square, he saw Princess Qingqing toss the embroidered ball into the air. The ball unfurled in the wind like a vibrant red lotus, a truly beautiful sight. The Antarctic Immortal then clasped his hands together, chanted an incantation, and pointed his finger at the ball. A wisp of celestial energy carried the bright red ball towards the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong.

The ball's release caused an immediate uproar. The men below chased after it, some frantically trying to retrieve it with long bamboo poles, others leaping to grab it, and still others… But the ball seemed to have eyes, constantly dodging the men's pursuit, tracing enchanting curves as it drifted towards the new top scholar, Li Wencong.

"Reporting to the Princess, the embroidered ball has bypassed the crowd and is quickly flying towards that devilish Li Wencong!"

Hearing the report from her maid Chunxiang, the Princess smiled charmingly.

Suddenly, just as the embroidered ball was about to reach the head of the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, it seemed to be under a spell, immediately tumbling over and floating back in the direction it had come from.

This caused the men to cheer loudly again and plunge back into a chaotic scramble to snatch it.

"Reporting to the princess, for some reason, the embroidered ball suddenly tumbled over and flew back when it reached the head of that devilish Li Wencong!"

Hearing the maid Chunxiang's report, the princess felt a knife-like pain in her heart.

Meanwhile, the Antarctic Immortal, seeing the embroidered ball about to reach Li Wencong's head when it suddenly tumbled over and flew back, was greatly surprised: "Which monster is causing trouble?"

Thinking this, he quickly raised his wise eyes and looked around, then couldn't help but laugh heartily.

It turned out that Su Xiaoqian was worried because the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, had been shot all over his body by fruit bombs fired by many young women and married women on Chang'an Street during his official tour of the capital a few days prior. So, she used her Golden Light Technique to hide in the air and protect him. At first, she hadn't paid much attention when she saw Li Wencong watching Princess Qingqing throw her embroidered ball, but now that the ball was floating towards her, she panicked. If Li Wencong caught the ball, he would be chosen as the emperor's son-in-law! What would she do then?

Although Su Xiaoqian was an immortal (immortals are supposed to be without emotions), she was still a newly enlightened immortal who hadn't yet severed her emotional ties. Furthermore, having been "taken" many times by the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, she had tasted the sweetness of love and sex. Therefore, like other mortal girls in the throes of first love, she was filled with jealousy and selfishness in matters of love; her man belonged to her, and no other woman could ever take him away. So, when she saw the embroidered ball about to float towards Li Wencong, she secretly used her magic to blow a breath of immortal air onto it, causing it to change direction and float back.

"White Fox Fairy, you mustn't defy Heaven!" The Antarctic Immortal rushed to Su Xiaoqian's side, telling her that the Star of Literature had saved the Hundred Herbs Immortal, thus forging an immortal bond. The Jade Emperor was also moved by the Star of Literature's kindness and sincerity, and after the Hundred Herbs Immortal's "sentence was served," he granted her a place in the mortal realm to be reincarnated, to repay the Star of Literature's life-saving grace.

The Antarctic Immortal warned the White Fox Fairy, "If you prevent the marriage between the Star of Literature and the Fairy of Herbs, you will be violating the Heavenly Laws and will be punished by the Jade Emperor. You must not act recklessly."

"I heard from the Old Man of the Moon that you and the Star of Literature also have an unrequited love. Why not take this opportunity to help the Star of Literature and the Fairy of Herbs get married? Alright, for the sake of that boy, I'll do one more good deed. Tonight, you and that boy will also get married, a double-wife ceremony, only benefiting that boy, the Star of Literature. Haha!"

Hearing the Antarctic Immortal's words, Su Xiaoqian knew that the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, and Princess Qingqing were already preordained. Not daring to act rashly, she hurriedly released the magic and flew back to her room to await good news.

The embroidered ball, whose magic had been released by Su Xiaoqian, floated back towards the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, then suddenly turned and immediately wrapped itself around him, impossible to untangle. At this moment, the divine steed ridden by the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, seemed to understand human nature, letting out a long, joyful "hehe" neigh (as if saying: Congratulations, master, you have won!), and simultaneously lowering its two raised front hooves.

The men present, seeing Li Wencong snatch the victory, were consumed by jealousy, their eyes blazing with envy. They shouted and immediately began pelting him with rotten eggs, rotten fruit, and other stench.

"Ugh, what's that stinking stuff?" Although he was covered in the stench of rotten eggs and fruit, Li Wencong didn't care at all, for he was about to become the emperor's son-in-law; this little bit of "hardship" was nothing.

Hearing that the new top scholar had received the embroidered ball, the Queen Mother was overjoyed; and hearing that her own dream-given general had been chosen as the emperor's son-in-law, becoming her brother-in-law, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang couldn't help but stroke his dragon beard and laugh heartily.

Emperor Zhaozong of Tang was in the main hall discussing with his ministers how to arrange the wedding of the newly appointed top scholar and Princess Qingqing that evening when a eunuch on duty suddenly reported, "Your Majesty, a Taoist priest requests an audience." "

Summon him in," Emperor Zhaozong, a devout follower of Taoism, immediately issued an imperial decree.

"Where does this Taoist priest cultivate on? What business does he have with me?"

"This humble Taoist is the Antarctic Immortal..." The Antarctic Immortal's words were cut short, immediately startling everyone present. The two rows of civil and military officials were all stunned into silence. Emperor Zhaozong, upon hearing this, hurriedly ordered the attendants to be seated and then served the finest tea.

After the Antarctic Immortal finished his tea, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang finally spoke, "What brings you to my humble land today, sir?"

"Your Majesty, I have come to speak of a marriage." The Antarctic Immortal calmly recounted the stories of the God of Literature rescuing the White Fox Fairy and the God of Literature saving the Fairy of a Hundred Herbs on his descent to earth. Emperor Zhaozong stroked his beard and nodded repeatedly.

"I believe that one should be compassionate," the Antarctic Immortal said. "How about we grant them their wish tonight, a union of one husband and two wives?" The Antarctic Immortal then laughed heartily.

"In our Great Tang Dynasty, which man doesn't have three wives and four concubines? Look at me, I have three palaces, six courtyards, and seventy-two concubines, and I even send palace maids and concubines to replenish them from time to time (about once a year), enjoying all the riches and pleasures of love. Now, my dream-born general is merely marrying two wives, what's so surprising about that? Immediately issue my decree, granting permission for the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, Princess Qingqing, and Su Xiaoqian to marry together tonight. So be it." After issuing the decree, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang laughed heartily.

Chapter 71 The Prince Consort's Wedding Night:

"In our Great Tang Dynasty, which man doesn't have three wives and four concubines? Look at me, I have three palaces, six courtyards, and seventy-two concubines, and I even send beautiful maids and palace women from the common people to replenish my ranks (about once a year, or every six months if necessary). I truly enjoy all the riches and pleasures of love. Now, my dream-born general is merely taking two wives; what's so surprising about that? Immediately issue my decree, granting permission for the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, Princess Qingqing, and Su Xiaoqian to marry together tonight. So be it." Emperor Zhaozong of Tang finished issuing the decree and laughed heartily.

"This old minister has an important matter to report." Minister of Rites Song Ziwen stepped forward and said, "This old minister dares to say that it is not bad for the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, Princess Qingqing and Su Xiaoqian to get married together tonight. However, as the saying goes, 'two tigers cannot share one mountain.' If Princess Qingqing and Su Xiaoqian do not distinguish between wives and concubines (they are both wives, there is no distinction between wives and concubines), I am afraid there will be disputes in the future."

"Well..." Emperor Zhaozong of Tang originally intended to favor his younger sister, Princess Qingqing, and wanted to bestow upon her the title of wife of the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, while making Su Xiaoqian his concubine. However, fearing accusations of favoritism from his ministers, he devised a plan and deliberately asked, "As for this matter, I have no objection; I simply wish to solicit everyone's opinion."

The Left Chancellor, Yuchi Jingde, failing to grasp the emperor's implied meaning, assumed the emperor was benevolent and fair, unwilling to grant Princess Qingqing and Su Xiaoqian the titles of wife and concubine. He hastily stepped forward, flattering the emperor, "Your Majesty is wise; let the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, and Su Xiaoqian have a..." "Two wives for one husband, how wonderful! This is quite an interesting story from the imperial examinations, adding a touch of color to the literary and marital history of our Tang Dynasty."

Upon hearing this, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang couldn't help but curse inwardly, "You damned Left Chancellor, what are you doing causing trouble? Didn't you understand my meaning? Why are you trying to flatter me? And what's with all this talk of interesting stories? If you hadn't said anything, no one would have said you were mute, would they?"

But Emperor Zhaozong was a relatively cultured emperor, and he didn't take Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde's inappropriate flattery to heart. Instead, he smiled wryly and said, "My dear Left Chancellor, you speak well. But is there any precedent for 'two wives for one husband' in Chinese history?"

"Of course!" Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde hurriedly stepped forward and continued his "shoe-shining" act: "Reporting to Your Majesty: In the past, Emperor Shun married Emperor Yao's two daughters, Ehuang and Nüying, and they were both made empresses (i.e., Xiangfei and Xiangfuren). There was no distinction between wives and concubines."

Right Chancellor Huyan Nan, jealous that Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde had monopolized the credit for "shoe-shining," also hurriedly stepped forward to flatter Emperor Zhaozong of Tang: "Your Majesty, even in our Great Tang Dynasty, there is a very vivid example. Look at General Yuchi Gong, one of the founding generals, who married two ladies, Hei and Bai."

"You two idiots, you two sycophants, you don't even consider the weather before you start shoe-shining." Emperor Zhaozong cursed Right Chancellor Huyan Nan inwardly for being jealous of Left Chancellor Yuchi Jingde, but said aloud: "You two ministers speak well. Ah, well, what does the Great Immortal think?" Emperor Zhaozong hurriedly asked the Antarctic Immortal sitting beside him for his opinion, hoping that he could offer a different perspective to extricate himself from this predicament.

"How can I possibly concern myself with all the affairs of the mortal realm? I have nothing else to say, farewell." The Antarctic Immortal chuckled, then bowed to Emperor Zhaozong of Tang, and rode back to his celestial abode on auspicious clouds with the White Crane Boy.

Emperor Zhaozong, seeing that things had come to this point and he had no other choice, and seeing that 'two wives serving one husband' was not a major problem, stopped discussing it and quickly changed the subject to discussing how to arrange the wedding banquet for Princess Qingqing and her two companions that evening.

That evening, the palace was filled with the sounds of gongs and drums. Emperor Zhaozong of Tang was holding a wedding for the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, Princess

Qingqing, and Su Xiaoqian. The imperial relatives, civil and military officials, and powerful figures from the capital were in a flurry of activity, offering their congratulations. The scene was incredibly grand and lively, but we won't go into details. After the wedding, the three—Li Wencong, Princess Qingqing, and Su Xiaoqian—were immediately escorted to their respective bridal chambers by their best men and bridesmaids.

"Congratulations! Congratulations! Your son-in-law is blessed with three great fortunes: passing the imperial examination, becoming a son-in-law of a dragon, and having two wives! A truly joyous occasion!" an official congratulated

, bowing. "Congratulations to you too! Let's all have another drink!" Li Wencong returned the bow.

"Congratulations! Congratulations to the top scholar for his incredible good fortune, experiencing double virginity in one night!" Lin Mingxing congratulated with a grin.

"Thank you, thank you for your congratulatory gift. Don't make fun of me." Li Wencong blushed, knowing that Lin Mingxing, that mischievous boy, was laughing at him, so he kissed him.

"Wow, we should toast the top scholar and the prince consort again!" Tu Dejia chimed in with a smile.

"That's right, that's right, one wife toasts one cup, and the top scholar and the prince consort drink two cups each time!" Ouyang Qing, that playful fellow, also joined in the fun.

"Wow, brilliant, brilliant!" The guests immediately cheered.

So everyone drank cup after cup, until Li Wencong, the top scholar and the prince consort, was drunk, lightheaded, and staggering.

After the banquet, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, slightly tipsy, happily entered Princess Qingqing's bridal chamber. The royal bridal chamber was, of course, extraordinary. Bright red candles illuminated the room, creating a dazzling spectacle; intricately painted decorations filled the space with warmth and beauty. A large red "double happiness" character hung in the main room, flanked by two painted couplets.

Inside, the noble Princess Qingqing sat gracefully before the bed, dressed in a dragon and phoenix bridal gown, exuding elegance and grace; a large red cloud-like veil draped over her head, making her appear even more shy and alluring.

The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, slightly tipsy, excitedly approached Princess Qingqing, calling out, "My dearest, my darling, I'm here!" He immediately and impatiently lifted the red veil from Princess Qingqing's head with his golden staff. His eyes lit up; Princess Qingqing, with her delicately painted eyebrows, appeared even more alluring than usual; her rosy cheeks radiated spring, making her even more beautiful than before. The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, stared in a daze, completely mesmerized. Especially when he saw "the protrusions on Princess Qingqing's chest, and the fullness of her buttocks, so alluring," Li Wencong's "secret weapon" instantly swelled. With a loud "whoosh," he immediately cupped Princess Qingqing's face and kissed her passionately, eliciting soft cries from her.

Then, Li Wencong quickly stripped both of them of all their clothes, and with a swift movement, took her two swollen nipples into his mouth, sucking on them like a child nursing.

This was no small matter; Princess Qingqing was an extremely sensitive woman, and now that her sensitive nipples had been violated, she immediately let out a whimper and collapsed into Li Wencong's warm embrace.

The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, got carried away with the kiss and immediately lifted Princess Qingqing's two slender, beautiful legs, completely exposing that enchanting fairy's vulva that could drive even the most amorous gods wild. He then used his large hands, which held a writing brush, to forcefully pry open Princess Qingqing's two plump, red, and pubic labia, covered in fairy grass. He then extended his tongue, which could drive even the most seductive woman wild, and licked Princess Qingqing's tight vulva. Princess Qingqing immediately began to moan and groan. Then, Li Wencong extended his tongue, which could make even goddesses lose their senses, and began to lick and kiss Princess Qingqing's already erect clitoris wildly. Under the triple assault of the newly crowned champion Li Wencong's large hands, tongue, and lip, Princess Qingqing finally couldn't take it anymore. She immediately opened her jade mouth and cried out, "I can't take it anymore, my strong husband, quick, quick, quick, insert your sexy 'killer weapon' into my cunt, I want it, I really can't take it anymore, hehe..."

"My dear slutty baby, are you happy, are you comfortable?" The newly crowned champion Li Wencong continued to lick and kiss Princess Qingqing's "bean," teasing her incessantly.

"Quick, quick, I can't take it anymore, my good husband, handsome husband, sexy husband, please, please quickly insert your sexy 'killer weapon' into my cunt, ah hehe, it's so itchy inside..." Princess Qingqing finally breathed heavily, making a pleading sound.

"Now is the time!" The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, like a general who had faced life and death and held the initiative of life and death, immediately raised his "trump card," which was already swollen and furious, aimed it at Princess Qingqing's fairy cave, and then roared as he immediately inserted the "trump card"; immediately afterward, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, used the "woman-controlling mace technique," performing the move "fairy delivering the mace" to directly insert it into the beautiful cave, making Princess Qingqing gasp softly; then he used the move "wind sweeping plum blossoms," riding the fleshy mace back and forth there, until Princess Qingqing moaned ecstatically. Finally, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, unleashed the ultimate move of his "Woman-Controlling Technique," the "Woman-Controlling Killer Weapon." He grabbed his swollen, hot "killer weapon" and thrust it forcefully into Princess Qingqing's "flower core." Princess Qingqing immediately trembled violently, and then her muscles contracted, releasing a gush of silvery-white semen that drenched Li Wencong's large, round penis, causing itching and a tingling sensation. Immediately, Li Wencong felt a surge of pleasure rising up his spine, and he cried out. He felt his "killer weapon" tremble violently, and gushes of semen erupted, spraying Princess Qingqing with intense pleasure. After she died…

it felt like thousands of years had passed before Li Wencong and Princess Qingqing awoke from their ecstasy.

"Were you happy?" Afterwards, Li Wencong asked tenderly, embracing Princess Qingqing.

Princess Qingqing nestled shyly in the arms of the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, and said, "I'm so happy! This is so much more enjoyable and blissful than when we were at Minzhong Temple. It's truly a case of 'a scholar should be looked at with new eyes after three days' absence!' Where did you learn such powerful techniques?" "

I was studying 'The Romance of the Tang Dynasty' a few days ago. I saw that General Chen Shubao's 'killer move' was incredibly powerful. I wondered what would happen if his 'Eighteen Forms of the Divine Mace' were transformed into 'Eighteen Moves of the Goddess Mace.' Now it seems it really is amazing!" The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, hugged Princess Qingqing even tighter with delight.

Suddenly, the official came to report, "The auspicious time has arrived. Please go to Su Xiaoqian's place to consummate your marriage." The

newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, was jolted awake, but he was still immersed in Princess Qingqing's tender embrace and didn't want to wake up.

"I don't want to go to Su Xiaoqian's place," the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, stretched and said.

"No, you must go now. We are married by imperial decree. If you don't go to Su Xiaoqian's bridal chamber, it will be considered disobeying the decree, and the consequences will be severe," Princess Qingqing warned.

So the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, had no choice. He lazily stood up, cupped Princess Qingqing's beautiful face, kissed her several times, and reluctantly left her bridal chamber to begin his new battle in another.

When Li Wencong entered Su Xiaoqian's bridal chamber, he saw her still sitting there, and called out, "My beautiful wife, I'm here!" He immediately raised his golden staff and lifted the large red veil covering Su Xiaoqian's head. This lifting revealed Su Xiaoqian's celestial beauty, stunning and alluring, immediately before Li Wencong. It turned out that Su Xiaoqian was particularly happy today, so she applied some fairy-like makeup to her face, making her even more sexy and alluring than usual, which made the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, swallow hard.

The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, was truly a renowned astrologer. Faced with such a beautiful woman, his spirits immediately lifted, and he became energetic, a stark contrast to his previous drowsy demeanor. He immediately extended his two large hands, trembling with burning desire, and stripped Su Xiaoqian naked. Then, he used the same "woman-controlling technique" he had used on Princess Qingqing. His imposing presence was like a tiger descending from the mountain, as fierce as a dragon emerging from the sea. He raised his killer weapon and thrust it into Su Xiaoqian's already overflowing, aroused vagina. He then unleashed the "woman-controlling technique": first, the "Pear Blossom Covering the Top." The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, thrust his fleshy mace inside Su Xiaoqian's vagina, making her cry out in delight. Then came the "Dragon Enters the Well" move, where Li Wencong's fleshy mace ground and rubbed against Su Xiaoqian's vulva, thrusting and withdrawing slowly, causing her to moan repeatedly. Finally, Li Wencong unleashed his ultimate move—the "Phoenix Nods" (mace striking the flower's heart)—a move that could make even the most beautiful young girl lose her mind and the most seductive young woman forget herself, causing the wanton Su Xiaoqian to immediately scream and faint…

Chapter 72: The Honeymoon of the Star Official and the Beautiful Woman

. (This chapter is packed with highlights: "Working" in a carriage, making love on a yacht, and even being spied on in a temple—it's all there, endlessly entertaining!

This dashing new top scholar, Li Wencong, must have accumulated some incredible good fortune in his past life to have received such a stroke of luck. Not only did he marry the beautiful and noble Princess Qingqing, but the Emperor also bestowed upon him the beautiful and wanton young woman, Su Xiaoqian, as his wife, allowing him to enjoy a life of one-man rule.) With two wives, he enjoyed the bliss of having multiple wives day and night, a sight that made every man in the world envious and every young woman jealous!

Since receiving his imperial decree last night and consummating his marriage with his two wives, the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, nourished by sweet and intoxicating sex, had become deeply in love with his two wives, inseparable all day long. Especially Princess Qingqing and Su Xiaoqian, these two young women, after experiencing the pleasures of sex, were so deeply in love with the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong that they were practically inseparable, clinging to him day and night, unwilling to leave his side for even a moment. Thus, the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, blessed with such beauty and fortune, immediately embarked on his blissful, intoxicating honeymoon.

The very next morning, the flirtatious, lively, and energetic Princess Qingqing took the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong's hand, tenderly and affectionately declaring her intention to tour all the scenic spots of the capital with him, for their blissful honeymoon... Adding a new touch of brightness to life.

Yanqi Lake, located at the foot of Yanshan Mountain, eight li north of Huairou City in the suburbs of Beijing, was a renowned scenic spot at the time. So, the lively and mischievous Princess Qingqing took the hand of the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, who in turn embraced her slender, serpentine waist. The two sweetly boarded an extremely ornate two-horse carriage, heading to the famous Yanqi Lake for a visit.

"What kind of place is Yanqi Lake?" Along the way, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, asked softly while kissing Princess Qingqing.

"Yanqi Lake is a very famous natural scenic area in Beijing. It is located 8 kilometers north of Huairou City in the suburbs, bordered by the majestic Great Wall to the north and the vast North China Plain to the south. Yanqi Lake has a wide surface area of about 1,200 square kilometers. The water is calm and clear, and the shore is covered with reeds. Every spring and autumn, flocks of geese come to the lake to roost, hence the name. In recent years, the imperial court has invested a lot of money to develop it into a beautiful water park to promote tourism." Princess Qingqing hugged the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, and breathed hot air into his ear as she introduced the lake.

The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, was aroused by the hot breath from Princess Qingqing, and his mind wandered. Suddenly, the irresistible fragrance of a young woman emanating from Princess Qingqing wafted into Li Wencong's nose, making this flirtatious and lustful star official's blood boil even more.

"Wow, beautiful wife, your scent is so sweet!" The newly crowned top scholar, Li Wencong, finally dared to grasp Princess Qingqing's hand tightly and pressed his head close to her beautiful face, making Princess Qingqing's heart flutter with sweetness, as if she wanted to drink honey.

The car traveled along a bumpy mountain road, and suddenly lurched to the left, causing it to swerve sharply to the left, a powerful force throwing Princess Qingqing forcefully into Li Wencong's arms. Holding Princess Qingqing's warm, jade-like body, inhaling her enchanting fragrance... The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, finally reached his limit. His large, alluring member instantly swelled, and he cupped Princess Qingqing's delicate face in his hands, widening his eyes like saucers. He then passionately kissed her full, sensual lips, quickly stripping her naked and pressing her heavily onto the carriage seat. Princess Qingqing, breathless from Li Wencong's weight, let out a series of moans of pleasure that would make any man dizzy. Fu's moans...

"Working" in the car is truly wonderful! With each bump and sway of the car, the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong's thick, alluring member rhythmically "went in and out" of Princess Qingqing's body, "trembling and leaping," exciting Princess Qingqing to the point of ecstasy. Li Wencong, the newly appointed top scholar, closed his eyes and gasped for breath,

as if centuries had passed. "Ah...it's so comfortable!" Almost simultaneously, Princess Qingqing and the newly appointed top scholar Li... Wen Cong sighed and woke up.

Princess Qingqing lay in the broad arms of the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wen Cong, and whispered shyly, biting his ear, "Darling, I never imagined making love in a carriage could be so exciting!"

Li Wen Cong lowered his head and kissed the woman he loved, then murmured, "Yes, making love in different places and in different environments brings different pleasures. Darling, I will make love with you in different places and environments in the future, so you can experience different pleasures, okay?" "You're so

naughty, but I like it very much," Princess Qingqing said, biting his ear and nodding happily.

That day, Princess Qingqing took the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wen Cong, hiking and admiring the weeping willows by the lake, having a wonderful time. After dinner in the evening, Princess Qingqing whispered in Li Wen Cong's ear, "It would be a great pity to come to Yanqi Lake Scenic Area and not take a night tour of Yanqi Lake. Darling, shall we take a tour of Yanqi Lake later?"

“Okay, I’ll do as you say, my wife.” The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, returned a deep kiss to Princess Qingqing.

To add some romance, Li Wencong and Princess Qingqing rented a two-seater yacht. Sitting in the gently rocking yacht, Li Wencong and Princess Qingqing were overjoyed.

The moonlight that night was captivating. Under the boundless moonlight, Yanqi Lake resembled a shy maiden, appearing hazy and lovely.

Gazing at the enchanting moon, looking at the emerald green lake, and feeling the cool evening breeze, Li Wencong felt immense excitement and joy.

As the saying goes, a beautiful woman is even more stunning under the moonlight. Looking at Princess Qingqing under the hazy moonlight, her skin as white as snow, her hair flowing, she was breathtakingly beautiful, like Chang'e descended to earth, or Diao Chan reincarnated. Li Wencong was so mesmerized that he even stopped rowing.

“My wife, you are truly beautiful,” Li Wencong couldn’t help but exclaim.

"You're making fun of me." Princess Qingqing playfully punched the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, with her small fist.

Princess Qingqing's coquettishness only fueled Li Wencong's excitement.

"Food and sex are human nature." This vigorous young man, Li Wencong, finally lost his reason in the face of the beautiful woman, and suddenly opened his arms to hug Princess Qingqing tightly.

"You..." Princess Qingqing feigned shyness, feigning resistance.

"Pop..." Li Wencong seized the opportunity and kissed Princess Qingqing's large, thick lips.

The newly crowned top scholar Li Wencong's passionate kiss was like an electric current, causing Princess Qingqing's body to tremble slightly.

Li Wencong then tightly embraced Princess Qingqing with his burning body, until she felt a wave of pleasure wash over her, her body drenched in fragrant sweat, her breath coming in soft, panting gasps…

A woman's panting is most likely to arouse a man's desire. Princess Qingqing's melodious panting was like a love song, stirring the heartstrings of the newly crowned top scholar Li Wencong to tremble intensely. Furthermore, the faint fragrance emanating from Princess Qingqing's body further aroused this vigorous and lustful star official, making him restless and lost in fantasies, breathing heavily like a mad bull.

Finally, Princess Qingqing's clothes were roughly stripped off piece by piece by the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, revealing her true appearance. Under the moonlight, Princess Qingqing's body shone with a crystalline light, her skin as white as snow, her breasts glistening, and her fairy cave, overgrown with magical herbs, was faintly visible—truly beautiful and alluring… The

newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, was utterly captivated by the sight. He suddenly flipped over and pressed Princess Qingqing tightly against the deck of the yacht.

"Haha, even the most beautiful nights are nothing compared to this!" As the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong's hard member entered Princess Qingqing's narrow, juicy, moist, and warm body, he couldn't help but shout with delight.

With the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong's brave thrusts and powerful charges, Princess Qingqing felt unparalleled stimulation and enjoyment…

The lake was a little chilly on this moonlit night. But on the yacht, spring was in the air. On the nearby mountain, two thrushes sang a beautiful love song, as if celebrating this poetic and romantic moonlit night.

Springtime was in the air on the yacht as the newly crowned top scholar, Li Wencong, and Princess Qingqing were passionately entwined...

The bright moon, the lake, the evening breeze, the gently swaying yacht, and the sweet couple—this was truly the most beautiful scenery on earth!

The next day, the sun was high in the sky when Li Wencong and Princess Qingqing finally woke up happily, stretching from their sweet dreams.

"My dear wife, we were so blissful yesterday! Where shall we go today?" Their sweet lovemaking had filled Li Wencong's life with vitality and made his honeymoon even more joyful and passionate.

"Let's revisit Minzhong Temple. Let our sweet honeymoon witness our happy marriage!" Princess Qingqing nestled shyly in Li Wencong's arms.

"Mwah. Okay, I love hearing you say 'I love you,'" Li Wencong gave Princess Qingqing a deep kiss that almost took her breath away.

Minzhong Temple, located outside Xuanwu Gate, is a very famous historical site in Beijing. It's also the place where Princess Qingqing drew a fortune stick, received guidance from an old monk, and, following the guidance of her marriage fortune, finally found her happy and fulfilling love. Princess Qingqing was a very sentimental person, so when she met the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, she brought him here for a visit, and they made love passionately here, with Qingqing even giving him her most precious virginity. Today, Princess Qingqing has returned to this place with her beloved husband, with two purposes: first, to thank the kind old monk at Minzhong Temple, and second, to fulfill a vow to the local deities, pray for blessings, and add incense oil to accumulate good fortune.

Finally arriving at Minzhong Temple, Princess Qingqing, accompanied by the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong, first met with Abbot Yuanjue. Abbot Yuanjue was overjoyed, repeatedly chanting Buddhist prayers, "Amitabha! The presence of the Princess and the scholar truly brings glory to our humble temple." Princess Qingqing returned the greeting and presented Abbot Yuanjue with a gold ingot as a donation, much to the abbot's delight, his white beard beaming with joy. After

bidding farewell to the abbot, Princess Qingqing went to see the old monk who had guided her to marriage. She first gave him a silver ingot as a token of gratitude, causing the old monk to thank her profusely. Then, in a sweet, delicate voice, she said, "It is all thanks to your guidance that I have found such a wonderful marriage." She then pulled the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong to kneel before the old monk in gratitude, prompting the old monk to hastily help them up.

At noon, the abbot arranged for Princess Qingqing and the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, to have lunch at Minzhong Temple. The abbot served them the temple's finest vegetarian dishes. Plates of mushrooms, tofu, bamboo shoots, and other vegetables were fragrant, soft, and smooth, with a delicate aroma; plates of red dates, apples, kiwis, and other desserts were sweet, crisp, and delicious, with a rich flavor. Even Princess Qingqing and Li Wencong, who were used to fine dining, thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

After lunch, the abbot wanted to arrange for the couple to rest, but they politely declined, saying they wanted to explore the charming scenery surrounding Minzhong Temple at their leisure.

After bidding farewell to the abbot, Princess Qingqing, like a happy little bird, took Li Wencong's hand and went to explore the enchanting scenery around Minzhong Temple.

First, they climbed the 998-step lucky stone staircase, then ascended the high pavilion on the back slope to admire the enchanting scenery surrounding Minzhong Temple. Finally, they returned to Minzhong Temple to appreciate the cultural landscape of its three main halls, thoroughly enjoying themselves.

"Ah, husband, I'm tired. Let's rest for a bit." Arriving at the deserted side hall where they had lost their virginity, Princess Qingqing pulled the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, to sit down. She then took out a fragrant handkerchief to wipe the sweat from his forehead, her expression incredibly gentle and considerate.

"Handsome husband, your chest is so warm." Princess Qingqing nestled against Li Wencong's broad and warm chest, lost in ecstasy, their affection growing stronger without her realizing it.

Gazing at Princess Qingqing's beautiful face, her intoxicating blush, and her full, heaving breasts, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, felt a sudden surge of energy. He lowered his head and kissed her lips passionately, his tongue, capable of enchanting even the most seductive woman, entwining with hers in a blissful embrace.

"Ah, ah, ah," Princess Qingqing moaned ecstatically as Li Wencong's kiss deepened.

Hearing her pleasurable moans, Li Wencong felt a burning heat coursing through him. His large, thick member, which had been gently licking, now roared, pressing against Princess Qingqing's full, heaving breasts, making them tingle and itch.

"What a huge 'meat mace'!" Princess Qingqing exclaimed excitedly, reaching her soft, smooth hand into the crotch of the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, and pulling out his large "meat mace." She began to stroke it up and down, making Li Wencong tremble with pleasure. Princess Qingqing, caught up in the moment, opened her cherry-like mouth and, with a "smack," took Li Wencong's large "meat mace" into her mouth. She then closed her eyes and began to enjoy the sensation, stroking it up and down with abandon. Li Wencong, on the other hand, was wide-eyed with excitement, enduring the intense stimulation.

"Ugh..." As Princess Qingqing's jade mouth deepened its caresses, the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, finally lost his temper and let out a huge roar like a bull. He immediately picked up Princess Qingqing, forcefully pressed her down onto the floor of the side room in Minzhong Temple, and stripped her naked. Then he lifted her two snow-white, plump legs onto his shoulders, revealing her exquisite vulva. He then grabbed his swollen, dripping "flesh mace," aimed it at her, and thrust it in with all his might. He went all the way in; then he unleashed his self-created "Woman-Controlling Mace Technique," employing a series of moves: one was "The Python Enters the Sea," where the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong's fleshy mace thrust in and out of Princess Qingqing's cunt, causing her to moan repeatedly; another was "The Black Dragon Stirs the Sea," where Li Wencong's fleshy mace surged left and right, rising and falling continuously, causing Su Xiaoqian to cry out incessantly. Leaving

aside the fact that the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong and Princess Qingqing were making love fiercely in the side room, let's talk about how Minzhong Temple recently took in a six-year-old orphan as a monk. The old abbot doted on the little monk, rarely making him work, so he spent his days playing around.

Today, the young monk, tired from playing as usual, returned to Minzhong Temple to find a side room to rest. As he passed "that side room," he suddenly heard moans that even children would find pleasurable. Curious, he crept in to investigate and saw a man and a woman "fighting" on the ground. The man was on top of the woman, thrusting into her, while the woman cried out in pain. The young monk, being a compassionate child, immediately ran to the abbot to report this.

"This is outrageous! Who has the audacity to come to my peaceful Buddhist temple, Minzhong Temple, to fight and bully a woman?" the abbot roared, following the young monk.

Arriving at the "spring-filled" side room, he hurried inside to take a look (delighted but silent, unaware of the two people "fighting"). There, he saw the newly appointed top scholar and Princess Qingqing engrossed in their "work," startling the old abbot who hastily covered his eyes (for the old abbot was a highly virtuous monk, who normally absolutely refused to look at anything indecent), and fled while chanting Buddhist prayers.

"Grandpa Abbot, why didn't you help that woman who was almost dying from the pain?" the young monk asked, confused.

"Help you my foot! That woman isn't in pain at all; on the contrary, she's practically dying of joy. You little monk, you're just causing trouble. Go away, go away, go play somewhere else." The old monk gave the young monk several sharp taps on the head, leaving him completely bewildered, for the young monk was still young, his heart untouched by love, and he hadn't yet understood the nature of romantic relationships.

Leaving aside the fact that the young monk was spying on the newly appointed top scholar Li Wencong and Princess Qingqing's intimate moment and brought the old monk to catch the "bad guy," let's continue with the story of Li Wencong and Princess Qingqing continuing their passionate lovemaking.

Li Wencong, caught up in the excitement, immediately unleashed his signature move—the "Phoenix Nods" (a sharp touch to the heart of the flower)—a move that would make even a wanton woman scream with pleasure. He gripped his large "flesh mace" tightly, pressing it against the soft, slippery flesh inside Princess Qingqing's vulva, resembling a rooster's comb, and pressed down hard. Princess Qingqing immediately screamed and fainted, losing consciousness...

About half an hour later, Princess Qingqing awoke from her blissful ecstasy.

"Now you know how powerful I am, my darling, my little slut." The newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, kissed Princess Qingqing fiercely, a smug and victorious wicked smile spreading across his face.

"Now I finally understand how powerful my handsome husband, my big meat cudgel husband, is! My wanton and seductive little hole is still tingling and itchy! My handsome and seductive husband, I truly admit defeat now." Princess Qingqing panted heavily, glancing sideways at the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, with a hazy and wistful look.

But Princess Qingqing was a strong-willed woman who refused to admit defeat. She thought to herself, "You're too happy too soon. Once I secretly learn a few 'sexual intercourse' techniques, I'll see if I don't suck all your juices dry." Good heavens, Princess Qingqing later did secretly learn a few "sexual intercourse" techniques, making the newly appointed top scholar, Li Wencong, kneel down and beg for mercy. But that's a story for another time.
