Spring Flower Heroine

On the official road outside Yuzhou City, two horses galloped one after the other.

Their large hooves pounded heavily on the snow-covered ground, kicking up clouds of snow like shattered jade.

White breath billowed from their nostrils more than a foot high, and despite the freezing weather, sweat streamed down their necks.

"Master Yang, let's rest a bit. The horse needs to catch its breath, otherwise it won't be rideable later," said the elderly man in hemp clothing on the back horse, panting.

The burly man on the front horse pulled on the reins, and his horse neighed, rearing up and galloping several steps before coming to a stop.

While it hadn't been noticeable during the gallop, now that it had slowed down, its four legs were trembling uncontrollably, clearly exhausted.

Seeing this, Yang Wenbo knew that if they continued traveling at this pace, his horse would surely die from exhaustion. He had no choice but to dismount, take a rag from the cloth bag in the horse's rump, and wipe its sweat.

In such cold weather, a horse covered in sweat would surely fall ill if not dried.

The old man Fan Xuechuan, following behind, also quickly dismounted and wiped his horse's sweat. Seeing that his beloved horse was gradually recovering, he felt relieved and said to Yang Wenbo, "Hero Yang, don't worry, Yuzhou City is just ahead. We'll definitely reach Hero Han Jianchen's residence before dark."

Yang Wenbo led his horse slowly forward, replying, "Brother Fan, I know this can't be rushed, but as long as the lecherous 'Jade Butterfly' remains, the chastity of innocent women in the world will remain in danger. I truly wish I could rush to Brother Han's residence immediately and ask for his help."

"Hehe, Master Yang, forgive my ignorance, but you should know that even with our six prefectures and eighteen counties in the south, plus dozens of constables from the government, we still couldn't capture this villain. What skills does Master Han Jianchen have to deal with 'Jade Butterfly'?"

Yang Wenbo's eyes gleamed as he said, "Brother Fan, 'Jade Butterfly' was able to escape our pursuit time and time again not because of his high martial arts skills, but because his lightness skill was extremely high, and he was also skilled with hidden weapons, making him impossible to defend against. However, if he were to face Brother Han, hehe, I'm afraid 'Jade Butterfly' would have no choice but to surrender.

"

"Could it be that Master Han's lightness skill is even better than 'Jade Butterfly'?"

Fan Xuechuan looked incredulous.

Having participated in several

operations to encircle and suppress "Jade Butterfly," he was still terrified of the opponent's ghostly lightness skill.

Yang Wenbo laughed, "Brother Han has always been indifferent to fame and rarely travels the martial world, so his reputation is not well-known. However, we have known each other for more than ten years, and I am probably the only one in the world who truly understands his skills. His Flying Cloud Chasing Moon Footwork is unparalleled in the martial world, no less than Jade Butterfly's, and his Thirty-Six Forms of Soaring Sky Sword Technique are also extraordinary.

If we want to hunt down Jade Butterfly, I'm afraid we'll have to rely on Brother Han." The two talked as they led their horses into Yuzhou City.

After turning left and right along the road for a long time, a mansion appeared ahead, covering several acres, with a bright gate and towering walls, exuding an imposing aura.

Seeing Fan Xuechuan's stunned expression, Yang Wenbo couldn't help but explain, "Brother Han's ancestors were very wealthy merchants, possessing immense riches, which allowed them to acquire this grand mansion. However, in Brother Han's generation, he doesn't favor business, preferring martial arts. Over the decades, he has spent a considerable amount of money seeking renowned masters to train with. But given his large family fortune, even with these expenses, he still lives a comfortable life. He's far more affluent than most of us." Fan Xuechuan murmured, "No wonder Master Han isn't well-known in the martial arts world. If the old man had such wealth, he'd rather stay home and enjoy life than run around the martial arts world risking his life." "Hard-earned money." The two men stepped forward and knocked on the door knocker. After a long while, the gate finally opened, and an old servant in his sixties came out. His eyesight was failing, and it took him a while to recognize Yang Wenbo. He hurriedly bowed and said, "So it's Master Yang! My eyesight is getting worse and worse. I didn't recognize you in my haste. Please forgive me." Yang Wenbo returned the bow and said, "Uncle Li, there's no need for such formalities. Is Brother Han at home? Please let me know that Yang Wenbo and a friend have come to visit Brother Han to discuss important matters." The old servant said, "Master Yang, what are you saying? You've come in, there's no need for any announcements.

"

With that, the old servant led the two men into the courtyard.

Once inside, Fan Xuechuan was even more astonished. The courtyard was paved with blue bricks, with a pond and artificial hill in the center. Even the rocks used for the artificial hill were not ordinary.

The courtyard had several layers of buildings, with carved corridors and painted beams, far beyond what ordinary people could afford.

The only drawback was the sparse population; along the way, only a few old servants were seen sweeping, making it seem somewhat desolate.

Yang Wenbo whispered, "The Han family has never been large, and in Brother Han's generation, there is only one heir. Brother Han and his wife prefer peace and quiet, leaving only a few old servants from their previous generation to serve them." Just then, they suddenly heard someone laugh, "I thought it was some friend coming to visit, but it's Brother Yang. I'm sorry for not greeting you properly."

The two looked up and saw a man laughing loudly as he walked out of the hall. He was about thirty-five or thirty-six years old, tall and slender, with sharp eyebrows and bright eyes, and an extraordinary air about him.

He wore a light blue robe, not made of expensive materials like silk, but it was exquisitely tailored and fit him perfectly, highlighting his entire demeanor. He possessed both the elegance of a scholar and the heroic spirit of a warrior.

Yang Wenbo hurriedly cupped his hands and said, "Brother Han, I've come uninvited. Please forgive any rudeness."

After exchanging greetings, Yang Wenbo introduced Fan Xuechuan. The three exchanged pleasantries before being led into the hall by their host.

Once seated, Fan Xuechuan secretly observed Han Jianchen. He saw a smiling, refined man with gentle eyes that occasionally flashed with sharp light. His every move exuded a composed and unhurried aura. Fan Xuechuan thought to himself, "Master Yang said this Master Han's martial arts are superb. Although I haven't seen him demonstrate his skills, his demeanor alone surpasses that of ordinary so-called masters." He felt more confident about capturing the "Jade Butterfly

. "

After a few sips of tea and polite exchanges, the three got down to business.

Yang Wenbo said, "To be honest, Brother Han, I've come here to ask for your help. The Jade Butterfly is wreaking havoc across six prefectures and eighteen counties, harming countless innocent women. Every day of delay means several more innocent women may be violated. This wicked man is extremely vicious, raping innocent women, a crime that arouses the wrath of both gods and men. However, his lightness skill is exceptionally high, and he has escaped our encirclements several times. I have no choice but to swallow my pride and come to you for help. I hope that with your unparalleled lightness skill and swordsmanship, we can bring justice to the people of the six prefectures." Han Jianchen smiled, listened to Yang Wenbo's words, and pondered for a moment. He slowly said, "I have practiced martial arts for many years. Although I am not very concerned with the grudges of the martial world, I know that the word 'chivalry' is of paramount importance. Being able to contribute my modest efforts to the peace of the people is what I have wished for many years."

Yang Wenbo asked happily, "Brother Han agreed?"

Before Han Jianchen could answer, a clear voice like the first song of a nightingale suddenly came from outside the hall, laughing, "Brother Yang has come from afar and must be tired from your journey. I have already asked someone to prepare wine and food to welcome you and wash away the dust of your journey. The food and wine were prepared hastily and are not very exquisite. Please do not mind." The curtain was lifted, and a woman walked in slowly.

Everyone looked up and saw that the woman had long, black, silky hair styled into a cloud-like bun, with two strands of hair falling smoothly on either side of her snow-white cheeks. Her face was as white as mutton fat jade, so delicate that it seemed to break at a touch. Her eyebrows were like distant mountains, and her eyes were like shimmering autumn water, captivating the soul.

Beneath her delicate, petite nose, a small, full, rosy mouth was slightly upturned, gleaming like crystal. A pair of sparkling, transparent earrings swayed gently with her steps, reflecting a bright light.

She wore a fox fur coat, the snow-white fur making her face appear even whiter and more delicate. Through the collar of the fox fur coat, one could see a plain white brocade robe and a breathtaking expanse of snow-white skin below her neck.

Though petite, her breasts were high and full, and even thick winter clothes couldn't conceal the breathtaking beauty of her stunning figure. With

a clang, Fan Xuechuan's teacup fell to the table, scalding tea dripping onto her clothes, but she was oblivious. Her mind was a jumbled mess, with only one thought: How could such a breathtakingly beautiful woman exist in this world?

Not only Fan Xuechuan, meeting her for the first time, but even Yang Wenbo, who had seen her many times before, felt a jolt in his heart, instinctively lowering his gaze as if even a glance at the woman before him would be a desecration.

But as soon as his gaze shifted, a strong sense of resentment arose within him, a desire to see her again.

These two contradictory feelings mingled together, leaving him unsure whether to feel bitter or joyful.

Han Jianchen quickly stood up and walked to the woman, softly saying, "Madam, why did you come to the front? It's so cold, don't catch a chill."

He unconsciously reached out and brushed aside the slightly disheveled hair at the side of her face, tightening his fur coat.

Madam Han, petite in stature, resembled a blooming white pear blossom before her husband. Her head only reached Han Jianchen's chest. She tilted her head back and chuckled, "I'm not that delicate. Brother Yang has come from afar, and you, as his brother, haven't even thought to properly entertain him. It's all my fault as his sister-in-law."

She leaned forward to look at Yang Wenbo and his wife, smiling slightly, "It seems I've interrupted your business conversation. Brother Yang, you all go ahead with your business. I'll go to the kitchen and prepare a few dishes." "Thank you, Madam Han,"

Yang Wenbo hurriedly replied.

As for Fan Xuechuan beside them, his gaze was vacant, his mouth agape. Yang Wenbo pinched his leg a few times before he snapped out of it, chuckling twice, but no one knew what he said.

Once she was gone, the three in the hall finally came to their senses.

Fan Xuechuan grabbed his teacup and gulped down several mouthfuls, ignoring the scalding tea, before finally regaining his composure.

The three talked for another half hour, finalizing the details of their joint operation to capture the thief.

Seeing that it was getting late, Yang and Fan got up

to take their leave. If it were just Yang Wenbo alone, he would have liked to stay for dinner.

However, Fan Xuechuan had come all this way, and he couldn't bring himself to ask for a free meal.

Han Jianchen saw the two off at the gate before returning to the main hall.

As soon as he entered, he saw his wife sitting in a chair, a hint of worry on her beautiful face.

Han Jianchen smiled and said, "Shuang'er, what's bothering you?"

He sat down in a chair beside her.

Su Ningshuang hesitated, then said softly, "Husband, did Brother Yang come to see you again to ask you to fight someone?"

Han Jianchen smiled casually, "It's just a petty thief; there won't be any danger." Su Ningshuang frowned, remaining silent.

Han Jianchen smiled gently, walked to Su Ningshuang, and pulled her into his arms, then sat down in her chair.

Su Ningshuang buried her head in Han Jianchen's chest and whispered, "I'm always so afraid when you go out, worried that something might happen to you. We're not short of money, why do you have to risk your life? If something happens to you, who will Yue'er and I rely on?"

Han Jianchen gently stroked Su Ningshuang's cheek and smiled, "My martial arts are quite good, how could something happen to me so easily? If something really does happen, you can take Yue'er and remarry. With your looks and talent, you might find a better husband."

As soon as he said it, he realized something was wrong. Sure

enough, Su Ningshuang suddenly looked up and punched Han Jianchen's chest with her small fist: "What nonsense are you talking about? How can you say such things? If you die, I... I'll become a nun." As she spoke, her eyes reddened, and tears were about to fall.

Even a peerless hero was helpless in the face of his beloved wife's tears.

Han Jianchen hurriedly said, "My fault, my fault. My wife is right to reprimand me. I misspoke and deserve a beating.

"

He then took Su Ningshuang's small fist and punched it a few times on his chest.

After this commotion, Su Ningshuang stopped crying and smiled coquettishly.

She reached out and rubbed Han Jianchen's chest, then leaned down and buried her face in her husband's chest again.

The hall was quiet, filled only with a faint, tender atmosphere that grew stronger.

Han Jianchen held his wife in his arms, a faint fragrance filling his nostrils. His breathing became rapid, and his large hand unconsciously slipped inside his fox fur coat, gently grasping and kneading her soft breasts through the thin fabric.

The beauty in his arms chuckled softly, and a jade-like hand quietly slipped out of her sleeve and under Han Jianchen's robes.

A moment later, Han Jianchen's breathing became more rapid. He lifted Su Ningshuang onto his lap, and saw her face slightly flushed, her arched eyebrows seemingly about to drip water. A surge of heat rushed to his head, and he kissed those alluring red lips.

Accompanied by soft, almost imperceptible moans, Su Ningshuang's fox fur coat fell silently to the ground. Her thin undergarment was half-open, and her pink bodice was pulled aside, revealing a snow-white breast that trembled gently in the air. The high peak of her breast was as tempting as a ripe cherry.

Su Ningshuang gave Han Jianchen a charming look, then gently cupped her breast in her hand and leaned forward to bring it to her husband's lips: "You glutton, you've been wanting to eat it for a while, haven't you?"

Han Jianchen gave a soft hum and took the cherry into his mouth, gently sucking on it.

Su Ningshuang smiled, a tempting blush spreading across her face. Her gentle gaze was fixed on Han Jianchen's eyes as she slowly rubbed the back of his head. "Ah, you glutton...you little devil...hmm..." Suddenly, the hall door was pushed open, and a crisp voice rang out, "Mother, my senior brother is bullying me again!"

A small head peeked in, the girl only fifteen or sixteen years old, her features strikingly similar to Su Ningshuang's. Her eyes were bright as stars, innocent and pure, but the smile at the corner of her lips already carried a hint of her mother's captivating charm.

The girl glanced into the hall and immediately covered her face with her hands. "Ah...I didn't see anything." The two people in the hall were startled and stopped what they were doing.

Su Ningshuang quickly got off Han Jianchen, pulling her clothes tighter to cover her exposed chest, her face already as red as a ripe apple.

Han Jianchen sat up straight, trying to put on a solemn expression: "Yue'er..." A giggle came from outside the hall: "I didn't see anything. Mother, Father, you continue, I'll come back later."

The footsteps faded into the distance, followed by a girl's shout: "Uncle Li, Father is practicing in the hall, don't let anyone disturb him..." As

the voices faded, the two in the hall breathed a sigh of relief, glanced at each other, and laughed at the same time.

"This girl, really..."

Han Jianchen said with a wry smile: "I wonder what Tianlin did to offend her this time." Su Ningshuang's face was still flushed, her beautiful eyes glancing at him, she smiled and said: "Tianlin is an honest boy, he wouldn't bully Yue'er. Of course, it's your precious daughter who bullied your disciple again." "Hehe,"

Han Jianchen smiled: "Why are you speaking well of Tianlin? Yue'er is your daughter." "Hehe, what does it matter? I've watched Tianlin and Yue'er grow up since they were little, what difference does it make?" "No. Besides, if we don't treat Tianlin well, no one will dare to marry this spoiled girl." Thinking of his daughter's quirky and mischievous nature, Han Jianchen shook his head helplessly: "Tianlin is a good child, but he's been bullied enough by Yue'er all these years. If nothing unexpected happens, he'll be bullied by this girl for another thirty or fifty years. It's really pitiful."

Su Ningshuang chuckled: "You are not a fish, how can you know the fish's joy? Tianlin is probably already enjoying it. This pair of enemies will probably be bickering for the rest of their lives."

"Well said. Tianlin's personality is too weak. It seems I'll have to urge him to practice hard from now on. Just reading and writing all day won't do. He's more like a scholar than a martial artist. He'll be bullied by Yue'er in the future." "Hehe, it's good that he's like a scholar. If he can pass the imperial examinations, Yue'er will be a scholar's wife. It's better than her being a mother who married a martial artist and living in fear every day." The two chatted and laughed, feeling warm in their hearts.

Han Jianchen looked up at the window and cleared his throat.

"It's still early before dinner. Madam, shall we... continue..." A blush crept onto her cheeks. Su Ningshuang's eyes were bright. She glanced at her husband, a smile flashing across her lips. Her jade hand slowly reached to her waist, hooking the ribbon around her waist. Her cloud-like dress slowly fell to the ground.

"I'm not afraid of you..."

Chapter Two

The next day, in front of the Han residence.

As the sun rose higher, Han Jianchen, who should have set off early that morning, looked at the baggage his wife had packed for him, feeling both warmth and a touch of helplessness.

For traveling the martial world, simple and practical luggage is best, something easily held in one hand. But the baggage his wife had prepared overnight was a huge bundle: silver, a change of clothes, books, food… He considered removing a few items, but seeing his wife's slightly dark circles and worried face, his heart softened.

He placed the bundle on his horse and gently hugged his wife.

"Wait for me to come back."

With people coming and going at the door, it wasn't appropriate to be more intimate; a thousand words were condensed in this tight embrace.

Su Ningshuang softly hummed in agreement, wrapping her arms around her husband's waist and burying her head in his chest: "Go soon and come back soon.

Be careful on the road."

Han Jianchen patted his wife's back, then turned to face a young man behind him, around eighteen or nineteen years old, with sharp eyebrows and bright eyes, exuding a refined and heroic air.

"Tianlin, after I leave, this family is in your care. Take good care of the house and don't cause trouble." Han Jianchen's disciple, Li Tianlin, bowed and said, "Master, rest assured, I will certainly live up to your expectations. May I ask, Master, how long will it be before I return?"

"At most three months, at least one month. During these months, you must diligently practice your martial arts and not slack off. When I return, I will test your martial arts skills properly."

Li Tianlin bowed and agreed.

The girl beside him led the horse to Han Jianchen's side, "Father, come back soon." Han Jianchen smiled, took the reins, and patted his daughter's head a few times, "Don't cause trouble at home. Also,"

he glanced at Li Tianlin, "Don't bully your senior brother."

"How could I bully him? He's the one who bullies me."

The girl pouted.

Han Jianchen laughed heartily, mounted his horse, nodded to his wife, spurred his horse, and galloped away. In no time, he turned the corner and disappeared from sight, only the sound of hooves growing fainter and fainter.

Only then did Su Ningshuang withdraw her gaze and turn back to the mansion.

"Uncle Li, close the mansion gate tightly. If any guests come, they must be avoided." "Yes, Madam."

The young girl Yue'er walked up to her mother with a smile: "Mother, I'm going out shopping." Su Ningshuang glanced at Yue'er and her face darkened: "You're not allowed to go. Go back to your room and review your lessons." "Oh, studying is so boring." Yue'er

reached out and tugged at her mother's sleeve, pleading, "I'll only go out for a little while, I'll be back in a short while, okay, Mother?"

Seeing her daughter's pleading, Su Ningshuang secretly chuckled, but deliberately put on a stern face: "Go back to your room and copy the 'Selected Tang Poems' three times first, and then I'll let you go out shopping." After saying that, she ignored her daughter's entanglement and walked into the hall by herself.

Without the male head of the household, the hall seemed much quieter. Several thick account books were spread out on the table, recording the comings and goings of various shops and businesses in the mansion this month.

The Han family had been wealthy merchants for generations. Although they were nowhere near as prosperous as their ancestors had been, they still owned over a dozen shops to support the household.

Su Ningshuang sat down behind the table and began to carefully check the accounts.

A woman in her fifties waved her hand, dismissing anyone irrelevant, and quietly stood beside her mistress to serve her.

This was the woman who had served Su Ningshuang since she was a young girl; she was utterly loyal, and although nominally mistress and servant, their relationship was like that of mother and daughter.

After a long while, Su Ningshuang closed the ledger, looked up, and gently rubbed her forehead with her slender fingers. Her gaze casually swept over the chair beside her, and her face flushed slightly.

Last night, before dinner, she and her husband had done something quite absurd on this very chair. Although they had been caught in the act by their daughter, they had experienced unprecedented excitement. In the end, the entire chair was almost soaked, and not a single piece of their clothing was dry.

Thinking of the shameful scenes from last night, Su Ningshuang's heart pounded. She felt a heat rising in her lower body, as if a warm current was slowly flowing through her. Involuntarily, her legs tightened and rubbed together gently.

But the more she did this, the stronger the strange feeling became. With servants around, she dared not make any large movements, and could only grit her teeth and endure it, her body trembling slightly.

Seeing her mistress's flushed face, Granny Xu was surprised and hurriedly asked, "Miss, are you feeling unwell?

"

Su Ningshuang suppressed her shame and said, "Yes, I'm a little thirsty. Granny Xu, go and get some hot tea." Granny Xu agreed and hurriedly ran out.

With no one around, Su Ningshuang could no longer bear it. She let out a few soft moans, her legs rubbing together even faster, her body trembling like a leaf. A short while later, her moans suddenly rose a crescendo, her body stiffened, and then she slumped down softly, breathing heavily.

"You rascal, you've ruined Shuang'er."

Su Ning Shuang muttered to herself, biting her lip. She secretly took out a handkerchief from her bosom, reached under her skirt to wipe away the dew, hesitated for a moment, then tucked it into her sleeve, her beautiful eyes gazing into the distance with a dreamy look.

"Three months..."

Meanwhile, in Yue'er's room,

the girl who should have been copying books sat on a chair, one of her delicate legs crossed, her foot trembling slightly, the pom-poms on the toes of her embroidered shoes swaying gently. She held a slice of cucumber in her hand, slowly and deliberately taking small bites, her lips smeared with juice.

On the other side, Li Tianlin sat at the table, writing furiously, a little sweat on his forehead, it was unclear how long he had been copying.

"Senior brother, hurry up and copy! You must finish before noon, otherwise we can't go out to play today!" the girl called out sweetly, showing no shame in having someone else do it for her.

While copying, Li Tianlin casually replied, "Wait a little longer, there aren't many left." Normally, men would never be allowed into the boudoir of the only young lady in the mansion.

However, as Han Jianchen's disciple, Li Tianlin had lost both parents at a young age and was raised by the Han couple along with Yue'er, almost like siblings.

Furthermore, the Han couple had long intended to marry their daughter to Li Tianlin, and the entire mansion considered him their future son-in-law. Even though they saw the young lady secretly bringing Li Tianlin into the room, no one dared to stop them.

"Hehe,"

Yue'er giggled, stood up, walked behind Li Tianlin, and leaned down to look at the copied text, inadvertently pressing her body against his back.

"Not bad. Here's your reward, have some cucumber."

Li Tianlin was engrossed in copying when suddenly a soft, warm body pressed against his back. Looking up, he saw Yue'er's exquisitely sculpted face just inches away, her warm breath covering his face. If he glanced to the side, he could see Yue'er's fair neck and the slight rise and fall of her breasts.

*Plop*, a drop of ink fell onto the paper.

Yue'er exclaimed, turning around and scolding, "How could you be so careless? This page has to be rewritten." She saw Li Tianlin's face flushed red. Following his gaze, she looked down and couldn't help but exclaim again, hurriedly covering her collar with her hands and running away quickly.

Li Tianlin forced himself to calm down and took another sheet of paper to rewrite.

However, the alluring glimpse of white skin he had just seen kept appearing before his eyes, impossible to erase.

Silence reigned behind him; not a sound could be heard.

Li Tianlin was terrified. He said, "Yue'er, I didn't mean to." After a pause, he heard Yue'er's voice, seemingly clenched through teeth, "You bad boy..." Li Tianlin felt even more uneasy but dared not utter another sound.

A while later, he heard Yue'er softly ask, "Senior brother, was it pretty just now?" Her voice was so soft it was almost inaudible.

The room remained silent.

A moment later, Yue'er's voice returned to its usual tone: "Senior brother, where did you put your clothes?" "

In the bedside table. What's wrong?"

There was no answer, only the sound of the table opening and clothes being taken out.

Li Tianlin quickly finished copying the last line, let out a long breath, put down the paper and pen, and turned around: "Finished copying. Yue'er, ah..."

He saw that Yue'er had just taken off her dress, wearing only a close-fitting garment, her petite figure fully exposed, her two fair and tender arms like fresh lotus roots, without a single flaw.

Caught off guard, the two of them froze for a moment.

Then, Yue'er cried out, and a pillow flew over: "Bad senior brother, don't look!" Li Tianlin then reacted, hurriedly turning around, closing his eyes tightly, not daring to look again.

A rustling sound came from behind him, and after a while, he heard Yue'er say: "Okay, you can turn around now."

Only then did Li Tianlin turn around.

Before her stood an exceptionally handsome young man, dressed in a blue robe with a jade belt around his waist, a paper fan in his hand, exuding elegance. A faint blush graced his face, making him appear somewhat shy.

"Yue'er, why are you..."

"Silly, of course I need to change before going out."

"But, those are my clothes."

"It's just for a moment, don't be so stingy."

The girl said, raising her arms and legs, turning around with satisfaction, and bowing to Li Tianlin: "Brother, what do you think of my attire?"

"...Very good."

The girl gave a satisfied hum, holding her head high as she walked past him.

As the two brushed past each other, the girl suddenly turned her head, her eyes as bright as the stars in the sky.

"Senior brother, just now...did I look good?"

Seeing Li Tianlin's embarrassed expression, Yue'er giggled and turned to leave.

However, behind her back where no one could see, the girl secretly raised her hand and rubbed her burning cheeks.

"Silly senior brother..."

Chapter Three:

Winter has finally gone.

Yuzhou City awoke from the dead of winter, bursting with vibrant life. Willows along the roads sprouted tender leaves, and a faint green tinge appeared among the weeds on the walls. The shouts and curses of drunkards and gamblers echoed from the taverns and gambling dens, and even the stray dogs running about were unusually lively.

Suddenly, a series of clanging and banging sounds, mixed with cries, came from a tavern beside the street.

"Ah!"

"It hurts so much! Catch this little bastard!"

"Damn it! Catch him and beat him to death!"

Two young men in blue robes rushed out of the tavern. The one in front, petite and with a flushed face from drinking, was all smiles. He stretched out a fair arm and tightly grabbed the taller, helpless-looking young man behind him.

"Run, senior brother!"

The two ran ahead, followed closely by several burly men who rushed out from behind, carrying chair legs and wooden sticks, some with bloodstains on their faces, cursing as they chased after them.

The two boys were incredibly agile, deliberately choosing narrow, secluded alleyways to slip through, and in no time they had disappeared into the depths of the alleys. The burly men who had been chasing them searched for a long time without finding them, and could only disperse, cursing under their breath.

A moment later, two small heads peeked out from a corner.

"Giggle, I'm dying of laughter." The girl dressed as a boy let out a cheerful laugh, her eyebrows forming a straight line, her small chest heaving up and down. "Serves them right, so many people bullied that little girl who was singing, they should have their legs broken.

Senior brother, we were just doing a good deed this time, weren't we?"

Li Tianlin gave a helpless bitter smile, "Yue'er, if you keep causing trouble like this, I really won't be able to cover for you in front of your master's wife. Now the whole city knows there's a crazy boy who loves to stand up for the weak. Luckily, your master's wife doesn't usually go shopping, otherwise she would definitely have guessed it was you."

Yue'er snorted, puffed out her chest, and put on an indifferent expression, completely unaware of how adorable Li Tianlin found her.

"Let's go home," Yue'er said, turning and skipping back. She'd only taken a few steps when suddenly she cried out, her body wobbling as she fell to the ground.

Because they were holding hands, Yue'er had pulled Li Tianlin down with her, half his body on top of her, their faces barely an inch apart.

Their eyes met, the warm breath tickling their faces. Yue'er's collar was slightly pulled open, revealing a patch of fair skin. Both of them froze.

Soon, Yue'er's face turned bright red, her small chest heaving, her eyes flashing with embarrassment and anger.

A surge of anger suddenly welled up in Li Tianlin's heart, instantly taking control of his mind. When he came to his senses, Li Tianlin realized with horror that his lips had unconsciously pressed against his junior sister's.

The soft touch on his lips, the fragrant scent, and the pair of bright, dark eyes of the girl before him—Li Tianlin's mind went blank; he completely forgot where he was.

A second or two later, Yue'er cried out, pushing Li Tianlin aside, her face flushed crimson.

"You bad senior brother!" the girl whispered, half angry and half shy.

Seeing Li Tianlin standing there, blushing and at a loss, Yue'er felt a sudden sweetness in her heart. She put on a stern face, snorted, and raised a small, snow-white hand.

"Ah?"

"Stupid senior brother, help me up." Yue'er said angrily, "I twisted my ankle." Li Tianlin finally realized what was happening and hurriedly helped Yue'er up.

Yue'er tried to lift her ankle, but as soon as it touched the ground, she gasped in pain, her face scrunched up. Seeing Li Tianlin's helpless expression, she felt even more annoyed. Just as she was about to lose her temper, she saw Li Tianlin turn around and bend down.

After hesitating for a moment, the girl obediently climbed onto her senior brother's back.

Li Tianlin carried Yue'er on his back, walking slowly, careful not to lose his balance and cause the girl on his back to sway.

They walked for a long time, both of them in a state of utter confusion, unsure of what to say.

After a while,

"Senior brother,"

"Hmm."

"...You haven't carried me in so long."

Li Tianlin's body stiffened, and an image flashed before his eyes: a young boy with a youthful face, carrying a delicate, beautiful little girl on his back, struggling to walk down the street.

"You were only six years old then," Li Tianlin smiled unconsciously, his eyes filled with warmth. "Now you're a nineteen-year-old young lady."

"Nineteen..." the girl said softly.

"Back then, every time you cried, I would carry you around the streets, watching the peddlers selling candied hawthorns and silk flowers, and then I would inexplicably laugh, your giggles were so sweet. You also liked to secretly pull my hair. And once, you fell asleep and drooled all over my face..."

Li Tianlin said softly. The girl behind him looked half annoyed and half shy, gradually softening into a gentle expression, her eyes sparkling like flowing water.

"Senior brother," Yue'er called softly.

"What?"

Yue'er suddenly brought her face close to Li Tianlin's, gently kissing his cheek.

Then, both of them blushed and fell silent.

A light drizzle fell, dampening their clothes, yet they felt no chill.

Yue'er nestled against Li Tianlin, slowly closing her eyes, "Senior brother, please carry me all the way..." Upon returning to the Han residence, Li Tianlin carried Yue'er to her room, removed her rain-soaked outer robe, draped a white fox fur over her, and then bent down to remove her boots and socks.

A small, delicate foot, white and tender, its five toes seemingly sculpted from jade, perfectly flawless.

With her senior brother holding her foot, Yue'er's face flushed crimson, but she offered no resistance, only feeling a warm current flowing from his palm, making her whole body feel warm.

Her ankle was indeed swollen.

Li Tianlin found an ice pack and applied it to her ankle. After a while, Yue'er's pain gradually subsided. Looking down at her senior brother kneeling on the ground, rubbing her small foot, her face flushed with shame.

"Alright, it'll be fine in a few days."

Li Tianlin carried Yue'er to bed, covered her with the blanket, and patted her head twice. "That's good, at least she won't cause trouble for two days."

Just as Li Tianlin was about to get up and leave, Yue'er gently bit her lower lip, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Senior brother..."

Before she could react, her lips were already pressed against Li Tianlin's.

In a moment of surprise, Li Tianlin's breathing suddenly became rapid. He pulled Yue'er back into his arms and sucked on her lips with all his might.

The girl's eyes widened; what had started as a prank seemed to have suddenly spiraled out of control. But only for a second, the girl closed her eyes, quietly accepting her senior brother's kiss.

Their tongues intertwined, saliva flowing between them, indistinguishable. Only heavy breathing and soft moans filled the room.

Unbeknownst to her, Yue'er had been lifted off the bed, the blanket slipping down.

A sudden surge of passion ignited within them. Li Tianlin's hand slipped inside Yue'er's clothes, brazenly kneading her round buttocks through her underpants. His other hand moved to Yue'er's chest, grasping her small breasts.

"Yue'er, Yue'er... my little wife,"

Yue'er murmured softly, her eyes closed, letting out a kitten-like moan.

After an unknown amount of time, when Li Tianlin's hand slipped between the girl's thighs, Yue'er was startled. She suddenly clamped her legs together and forcefully pushed Li Tianlin's head away.

"Senior brother, no," Yue'er gasped, her face flushed. "We're not married yet." Li Tianlin caught his breath, finally regaining his senses. His face was burning red with embarrassment. He lightly slapped his face twice: "Damn it!"

Seeing Li Tianlin's reaction, Yue'er laughed instead, her body trembling with laughter, like an apricot blossom trembling in the morning breeze.

"Senior brother, after we get married, we'll..." the girl said softly, her face flushed, then suddenly pulled the blanket over her head, burying herself in it, leaving only half of her blushing face showing. Li Tianlin hummed in response, his face also

flushed.

Yue'er looked down at the tent bulging in Li Tianlin's pants, a blush creeping onto her face.

"Come here."

Li Tianlin was taken aback, not knowing what was going on, when Yue'er had already wrapped an arm around his neck, her lips pressing against his again: "Hmm, this time you're not allowed to be naughty..."

Their tongues intertwined once more, but their hearts were no longer filled with lust, only an unyielding tenderness.

A small, fair hand emerged from under the blanket, trembling slightly as it untied Li Tianlin's belt, slipping inside and gently stroking him up and down.

"Yue'er..." Li Tianlin gasped, his breathing suddenly becoming rapid.

"Yue'er is nineteen now." The girl's breathing was also a little rapid. "She's not a little kid who doesn't understand anything anymore."

Her small hands moved faster and faster, and Li Tianlin's breathing became more and more rapid. After a long time, he finally let out a muffled groan.

Yue'er cried out, pulled her wet little hands out, and shrank into the quilt, pulling the quilt over her head, curling herself up into a ball.

"Senior brother, let's go back." A muffled voice came from under the quilt.

Li Tianlin agreed and pushed open the door to go out.

The sound of the door closing lingered for a long time before the quilt was suddenly pulled back, revealing Yue'er's flushed face, half shy and half joyful.

"Hehe, little wife."

The rumble of thunder meant that the rain had finally intensified.

The young woman in the living room stopped writing, looked up at the window, and instructed, "Grandma Xu, go and see if Yue'er and Tianlin have returned. Don't let them get soaked while playing outside." Grandma Xu agreed and went out.

Su Ningshuang put down her pen, rested her chin on her hand, and a blush appeared on her cheeks: "It's been over two months, you'll be back soon, right?"
