Chapter Six: The Legacy of the Zhenguan Era
. Emperor Gaozong of Tang, Li Zhi, courtesy name Weishan, was the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty. He was born on June 13th of the second year of the Zhenguan era, the ninth son of Emperor Taizong of Tang,
and his mother was Empress Wende Shunsheng, née Changsun. In the fifth year of the Zhenguan era, Li Zhi was enfeoffed as Prince of Jin, and in the seventh year, he was remotely appointed as the Governor of Bingzhou. In the later years of Emperor Taizong's reign, a struggle for the throne arose between Crown Prince Li Chenggan and Prince Wei, Li Tai. In the seventeenth year, Li Chenggan attempted to assassinate Li Tai but failed. After the incident, Emperor Taizong deposed Crown Prince Chenggan, dismissed Prince Wei, Li Tai, and made Prince Jin, Li Zhi, the new Crown Prince. During this period, while serving Emperor Taizong, Li Zhi met Wu Zetian and developed feelings for her. In May of the twenty-third year, Emperor Taizong died, and Li Zhi ascended the throne as Emperor Gaozong of Tang, at the age of twenty-two. The following year, he changed the era name to Yonghui, and Emperor Gaozong made Consort Wang his Empress. After Emperor Taizong's death, Wu Zetian, following the custom of the Tang imperial harem, entered Ganye Temple and became a nun.
At the beginning of his reign, Emperor Gaozong continued to implement the political and economic systems established by Emperor Taizong. He served as regent with Li Ji, Changsun Wuji, and Chu Suiliang. Both emperor and ministers remembered and faithfully followed Emperor Taizong's dying instructions. He instructed his officials to accept advice and care for the people. Upon ascending the throne, Gaozong declared to his ministers, "Anything that is inconvenient for the people should be reported; anything not fully addressed should be submitted in a sealed memorial." He also summoned prefectural governors to the palace daily to inquire about the people's hardships. He further instructed them to uphold frugality, issuing an edict: "
Any official, whether from the capital or from outlying prefectures, who presents falcons, dogs, or horses will be punished." In the inner palace, Empress Wang was childless and out of favor, while Consort Xiao not only had a son but was also exceptionally intelligent and deeply loved by Gaozong. Empress Wang deeply resented Consort Xiao for this. On the anniversary of Emperor Taizong's death, Gaozong went to Ganye Temple to offer incense and encountered Consort Wu. The two wept together. Empress Wang, upon learning of this, secretly instructed Consort Wu to grow her hair long and persuaded Gaozong to bring her into the palace, hoping to use her to sow discord between Consort Xiao and the emperor. Soon after, Wu Zetian gained favor and was granted the title of Zhaoyi.
On the frontier, not long after Emperor Gaozong ascended the throne, Ashina Helu of the Western Turks defeated Yipi Shekui Khan, proclaimed himself Shabolo Khan, established his headquarters at Qianquan, and commanded the ten tribes of the Western Turks, becoming an enemy of the Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty dispatched Liang Jianfang and Qiheli as commanders-in-chief of the Gongyue Road army, leading Tang troops and Uyghur troops westward. The Korean Peninsula was divided into three kingdoms: Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla. Although they fought repeatedly, all three coveted the Tang Dynasty's territory, while Japan sought to use Baekje to achieve its own ambitions.
While the eight great families were at the height of their power, the Tang and Yang families of Bashu dominated their respective regions and formed a marriage alliance. Tang Feng, the leader of the Tang Clan, married his beloved daughter Tang Wan'er to Yang Yuanmu, the leader of the Yang Clan. In his early years, Yang Yuanmu's father was a close friend of the father of the famous minister Changsun Wuji. Changsun Wuji's third sister, Changsun Ningxiang, was betrothed to Yang Yuanmu since childhood. Emperor Li Shimin of Tang Dynasty, in order to thank Cihang Jingzhai for its assistance in his hegemony, discussed with the holy maiden Shi Feixuan of Cihang Jingzhai about marrying Shi Feixuan's junior sister, Hu Jingyi, to Yang Yuanmu, because the two had fallen in love while adventuring in the martial arts world.
On the other side, the five families residing in Jiangnan—Dongfang, Ximen, Beitang, Ximen, and Dugu—formed alliances through marriage to resist the Yang and Tang families. While the Xie family lacked court connections, its patriarch, Xie Fengling, was a sworn brother of Yang Yuanmu, the patriarch of the Yang family. Furthermore, the Xie family's first patriarch, Lei Jiu (later renamed Xie), was a close friend of the two legendary heroes, Kou Zhong and Xu Ziling. The story of Kou Zhong and Xu Ziling assisting Emperor Taizong Li Shimin in achieving his imperial ambitions is legendary in the martial arts world. Based on this alone, the Xie family was enough to rival the other seven major families.
Thus, it can be seen that the Yang, Tang, and Xie families held greater prestige in the martial arts world than the Dongfang, Ximen, Beitang, Ximen, and Dugu families. However, this situation gradually changed after Wu Zetian gained favor with Emperor Gaozong and was granted the title of Zhaoyi. When Wu Zetian was granted the title of Zhaoyi, veteran officials such as Changsun Wuji and Chu Suiliang opposed it. Li Yifu and Xu Jingzong, however, pandered to the emperor's wishes. Li Yifu and Xu Jingzong had close personal relationships with the Dongfang, Ximen, Beitang, and Dugu families. Thus, these five powerful families, through the connections of Li Yifu and Xu Jingzong, were able to rival the Yang, Tang, and Xie families. Changsun Wuji knew that Wu Zetian's appointment as Zhaoyi was useless against the opposition and sensed that this was not a simple power struggle among wives and concubines, but rather had a profound political background. After discussing it with his second sister, Empress Deshun Sheng, he wrote to his third sister, Yang Yuanmu, suggesting that he retire from public life, as the internal power struggle within the court, though not outwardly visible, was incredibly intense.
Wu Zetian was the second daughter of Wu Shihuo, a founding meritorious official of the Tang Dynasty. Her mother was from the Yang family. Her ancestral home was Wenshui, Shanxi, but she was born in Lizhou, Sichuan, where she spent her childhood and adolescence. Her original name is unknown. She entered the palace at the age of fourteen as a talented woman (a fifth-rank official). Emperor Taizong of Tang bestowed upon her the name Mei, and she was known as "Wu Meiniang". She had a close relationship with Li Yifu and Xu Jingzong. She was granted the title of Zhaoyi by Emperor Gaozong. The two men contributed a lot to her career. By this time, the two forces in the world had been settled. In the future, who knows how many more battles would rage.
Chapter Seven: An Urgent Letter
Yang Yuanmu searched his surroundings but couldn't find his unfilial son, Yang Xiaotian. He wondered if the brat wasn't in the back mountain. Just as he was about to return, a pitiful scream rang out. Startled, Yang Yuanmu wondered if something had happened to his son. He rushed over and saw a figure fly out of a cave. Yang Yuanmu recognized his son's clothes and quickly caught him. With a leap, they landed on level ground. His son's eyes were closed, and his breathing was rapid. Yang Yuanmu was secretly relieved that his son was still alive. He called out several times, but there was no response. He quickly used his internal energy to check his son's body and discovered a powerful internal energy circulating around his dantian, as if protecting him. Relieved, he hugged his son and ran towards the front hall.
After placing Yang Xiaotian in the bedroom, Yang Yuanmu carefully examined his son's body. Seeing that there was nothing seriously wrong, only that his internal energy was circulating in his dantian, he didn't pay much attention, thinking he would deal with his son properly after he woke up. Just as he was about to leave, a maid rushed in, saying, "Master, the Third Madam wants you to come out quickly; something terrible has happened!"
Yang Yuanmu frowned upon hearing this, wondering what terrible thing had occurred. He told the maid to watch over Yang Xiaotian and strode towards the main hall.
Upon reaching the main hall, Yang Yuanmu saw his mother and four wives with furrowed brows. He thought, "That unfilial son has been found; something terrible must have happened again." He hurriedly asked, "What happened?"
"Husband, has Tian'er been found?" Hu Jingyi, concerned about her beloved son's whereabouts, didn't immediately answer her husband's question.
"Found him, he's resting in the backyard now. What happened?" Yang Yuanmu saw the frowns on his mother's and four wives' faces. Even after learning that their unfilial son had been found, they still had the same expressions. He thought the matter shouldn't have anything to do with his unfilial son, but what could it be?
At this moment, Changsun Ningxiang walked to Yang Yuanmu's side, took out a letter, and handed it to him, saying, "Husband, it's a letter from my elder brother. Please take a look."
Seeing this, Yang Yuanmu had a clue. It seemed to be because of his elder brother Changsun Wuji's letter. So he opened the letter and read it. It read: "My dear brothers and sisters, it's been two years since we parted on the Lantern Festival two years ago." It has been years since we last met. I wonder how everything is going. Now that my second sister, Emperor Gaozong, has ascended the throne, I thought the world was at peace. But who knew that undercurrents were brewing? Gaozong made Wu Zetian a concubine. This was not a big deal, but Wu Zetian has the support of her three sons, Li Yifu, Xu Jingzong, and Li Ji. If this continues, Wu Zetian will eventually become empress. The five major families under the control of Li Yifu, Xu Jingzong, and Li Ji will then launch a counterattack against you, my dear brother. I feel that this is not a simple battle between wives and concubines or a struggle for favor in the harem, but has a profound political background. Therefore, I am writing to inform you, hoping that you will retire from public life to protect yourself. These few words cannot express my longing for you. I hope you will understand. After reading the letter, Yang Yuanmu handed it to Changsun Ningxiang, took a deep breath, and said, "My elder brother means that he hopes we will retire from the martial world. The five major families will definitely use the relationship between Li Yifu, Xu Jingzong, and Li Ji to strike us hard. It seems we should inform our father-in-law and Brother Xie as soon as possible."
"What does my husband mean?" Hu Jingyi didn't quite understand the meaning of her husband's words.
"Actually, last Mid-Autumn Festival, Brother Xie and I both considered retiring, but we hadn't made any preparations. Now that my elder brother has written, it's clear he senses a storm is brewing for us, so it's best if we retire early," Yang Yuanmu said. "This Wu Mei Niang, although she is the second daughter of Wu Shihuo, a meritorious official of the Tang Dynasty, according to Brother Xie, my uncle Xie met her once in Chang'an in the tenth year of Zhenguan, along with the three great heroes Kou Zhong, Xu Ziling, and Ba Fenghan. She even called the notorious demoness Wanwan 'mother.' Later, both Kou Zhong and Xu Ziling suspected she was a tool used by the demonic path to seize power. I suspect my elder brother has seen through this, which is why he's telling us to prepare early." "
If Wu is truly a member of the demonic path, then the harem is unimaginable," Hu Jingyi exclaimed. "No wonder my senior sister Shi Feixuan wrote to us recently saying the demonic path was showing signs of resurgence and warning us to be careful. It seems it's definitely related to this Wu."
"Then I'll quickly inform Father and the others so they can take precautions," Tang Wan'er said.
"Alright, let's inform Father-in-law first. I'll write a letter to Brother Xie later to discuss how to retire," Yang Yuanmu said after making his decision. "Actually, retirement is a minor matter. What really worries me is my unfilial son. He actually did something so rebellious this time. It seems it's time to send him to Tianshan."
Chapter Eight: Awakening from Coma
"Yuanmu, do you want to follow your grandfather's wishes and send Tian'er to Tianshan?" Sitting to the side, Madam Yang, the mother of Yang Yuanmu, the head of the Yang family, finally spoke. She only had one grandson, so she was naturally reluctant to part with him. However, she had not forgotten her father-in-law's last words: "Tian'er's physique is different from ordinary people. He is a martial arts talent that is one in ten thousand. But before the age of fifteen, do not teach him any martial arts. After the age of fifteen, send him to Tianshan. Jiuyangzi will arrange for his descendants to teach him." "It was precisely because of her father-in-law Yang Guozhang's words that Feng Ziling didn't instruct her son Yang Yuanmu to teach Yang Xiaotian any martial arts.
Her father-in-law's words implied some kind of negotiation with the great master Jiuyangzi. 'If we don't send him to Tianshan, I think this kid will cause some great trouble sooner or later. Besides, Grandfather's dying wish was to send Tian'er to Tianshan. Although I don't know the connection, I think Grandfather must have his reasons,' Yang Yuanmu said. He had already decided to follow his grandfather's wishes and send Yang Xiaotian to Tianshan.
It turned out that when Yang Xiaotian was born, Yang Guozhang sensed that Yang Xiaotian's constitution was very strange. Although he was a talent for martial arts, he wasn't suitable for practicing orthodox martial arts. Therefore, he discussed with Jiuyangzi that after Yang Xiaotian turned fifteen, they would send him to Tianshan, using the water of Tianchi and Tianshan's unique internal energy cultivation methods to resolve the rejection of orthodox martial arts within Yang Xiaotian's body."
Seeing that her husband was determined, and even her mother-in-law's words had no effect, Hu Jingyi knew that her words were useless. She had no choice but to accept the fact that her beloved son was to be sent to Tianshan. At the same time, she couldn't help but worry. She knew her son's character well, and wondered what kind of trouble he would cause once he went to Tianshan. She sighed deeply and said, "Since my husband has made up his mind, then we'll just have to choose a day to send Tian'er to Tianshan. As for the matter of retiring, I think we shouldn't tell Tian'er yet. It's not too late to tell him after everything is settled."
Tang Wan'er, Changsun Ningxiang, and Zhang Yijia also felt sorry for Yang Xiaotian's impending departure. The three women felt a pang of reluctance. Although Yang Xiaotian wasn't their biological son, he was usually the most cheerful and funny, the one who could make them laugh the most. He was also the one they always protected when he got into trouble. While peeping at someone bathing was certainly audacious, the three women didn't hold it against him much. After the Zhenguan era, the court was more open-minded, and such ethically questionable matters were commonplace. They weren't surprised; they were only slightly indignant earlier because of their noble birth and status as concubines. Now, hearing that their husbands were sending Yang Xiaotian to Tianshan, they immediately felt reluctant, but even their mothers-in-law couldn't change their minds. It seemed their husbands' minds were made up, so they had no choice but to give up.
"Alright, it's settled then. Jingyi, go write a letter to Brother Liu, saying we'll start the day after tomorrow." Having said that, there was no going back on Yang Xiaotian's fate to go to Tianshan. However, judging from later developments, Yang Yuanmu's decision was quite wise, but that's a story for another time.
Yang Xiaotian slowly awoke, realizing he was no longer in the cave, but in his bedroom. He stretched, only to hear a series of cracking sounds as his clothes tore into shreds and fell onto the bed. He felt a surge of powerful internal energy, surging and overwhelming. He wanted to check if his energy was as potent as the Demon King Bafeng had claimed, but as soon as he tried to circulate it, everything went black, and he fainted again.
The maidservant beside him, seeing her young master awake, was about to go out and call the master, but less than a minute later, he fainted again. Terrified, the maidservant rushed to the front hall.
Chapter Nine: Divine Fruit Protects the Body.
Yang Xiaotian's fainting was perhaps unexpected even by the Demon King Bafeng. It turns out that shortly after Yang Xiaotian's birth, the legendary swordsman Yang Guozhang noticed that although his great-grandson possessed an extraordinary physique, he was unable to accept orthodox martial arts. Later, after consulting ancient texts, the Tianshan Sect leader, Jiuyangzi, learned that Yang Xiaotian's physique was similar to that of Emperor Yao. He was protected by the thousand-year-old divine fruit, the Fire Dragon Fruit, and after the age of fifteen, he cultivated ancient qigong, thus achieving great success. When Emperor Yao retired a century later, he left behind the will, "My physique is not orthodox. Fifteen years ago, I did not cultivate martial arts, but sought the Fire Dragon Fruit to protect my divine body and cultivate my mind, so that I could achieve great success." At the same time, Jiuyangzi also found information about the Fire Dragon Fruit: the Fire Dragon Fruit is an ancient divine fruit that blossoms once every thousand years and bears fruit once every thousand years; this fruit can be found in the borderlands. After learning about Emperor Yao's lineage and the origin of the dragon fruit, Yang Guozhang, to ensure his great-grandson's safety, traveled alone to the Western Regions. It took him more than half a year. Whether it was his luck or Yang Xiaotian's luck, Yang Guozhang finally found the dragon fruit and gave it to Yang Xiaotian to protect his special physique.
Previously, when Demon King Bafeng was channeling his century-old internal energy into Yang Xiaotian, he had also made some discoveries. However, he couldn't stop during the process, and knowing he would be exhausted afterward, he was even more unwilling to give up such an opportunity. Therefore, he poured all his century-old cultivation into Yang Xiaotian's body, while simultaneously using the Illusion Technique to input the Demon God's Evil Art into Yang Xiaotian's mind. This is why those strange images appeared in Yang Xiaotian's mind.
When the Demon King Bafeng's century-old internal energy was transferred into Yang Xiaotian's body, the divine dragon fruit within Yang Xiaotian's body played a significant role. However, the dragon fruit did not expel this century-old internal energy; instead, it resonated with it. But because Yang Xiaotian had no martial arts foundation, the dragon fruit had no choice but to automatically gather the century-old internal energy in his dantian, waiting for Yang Xiaotian to develop martial arts skills before it could be of great use. This is why Yang Xiaotian fainted a second time.
The little maid ran to the front hall and said frantically to the old woman, the master, and the four ladies, "Young Master has fainted again."
Hearing the little maid's words, everyone rushed to Yang Xiaotian's bedroom. After Yang Yuanmu checked his son's body, he found that the powerful internal energy that had been in his body earlier had disappeared without a trace. He felt a little strange at the time, but since his body was fine, he could only assume that it was Yang Xiaotian's own strange encounter, because he had no idea about the dragon fruit.
"Husband, how is Tian'er?" Hu Jingyi asked anxiously. This son was her only son and the only bloodline of the Yang family, so of course she was worried.
"He's fine. I think he was frightened by something when he went to the back mountain alone." Yang Yuanmu didn't tell her what had happened to Yang Xiaotian earlier because he didn't want his four wives to worry. "Fortunately, he didn't encounter that demon king, otherwise the consequences would have been serious. I think Tian'er will wake up later, so everyone doesn't need to worry."
Hearing her husband say this, Feng Ziling, Hu Jingyi, Tang Wan'er, Changsun Ningxiang, and Zhang Yijia all breathed a sigh of relief. As long as Yang Xiaotian was safe, that was all that mattered.
Seeing his mother and four wives relax, Yang Yuanmu breathed a sigh of relief. He looked intently at his son lying on the bed. His insistence on sending Yang Xiaotian to Tianshan had its reasons, based on his grandfather's words. He had also calmly considered the current unfavorable situation in the martial world for the Yang family. Yang Xiaotian was the only descendant of the Yang family, and going to Tianshan for temporary refuge would at least ensure his safety. He was prepared to face the storm.
Chapter Ten: The Four Great Books
It was already late. After having dinner with his mother and four wives, Yang Yuanmu had no mood to talk to them. He went alone to the Yang family's training room. For some reason, after receiving Changsun Wuji's letter, he had a strange feeling, as if his life was nearing its end. This premonition of his impending death made him very uncomfortable, which was why he was quietly pondering in the training room. Why was this happening? Suddenly, it occurred to him: could it be related to that matter? If so, then he needed to be even more careful.
It turns out that what Yang Yuanmu was thinking about was the conversation he had last year with Xie Fengling, the head of the Xie family, about how the four great books of today could achieve the goal of breaking through the void.
"Brother Yang, do you think the *Longevity Manual*, *Heavenly Demon Strategy*, *Compassionate Sword Manual*, and *War God's Record* can reach the realm of shattering the void?" Xie Fengling, the head of the Xie family, was the same age as Yang Yuanmu, both thirty-four years old, though Yang Yuanmu was a few months older. Xie Fengling was tall and slender, with long limbs, an ancient and weathered face, and a slight smile on his face. His eyes were deep and unfathomable, giving him the air of a wise man, while also possessing a domineering aura that intimidated people.
Yang Yuanmu thought for a moment and said, "It is said that apart from the *Compassionate Sword Manual*, which is still safely enshrined in a mysterious holy site of Buddhism, the whereabouts of the other three extraordinary books are unknown. People in the martial arts world say that the four books all have one thing in common: they are directly related to breaking through the void, representing people's yearning and pursuit of blessed lands. If you really want to see them, I guess they can reach that level."
"Hehe, Brother Yang's thoughts were the same as mine back then, but now I think it's not necessarily true." Xie Fengling laughed and said, "My father said that when the two great heroes Kou Zhong and Xu Ziling learned the martial arts of this 'Longevity Manual,' they didn't reach the realm of breaking through the void. Moreover, this 'Longevity Manual' was written by Guang Chengzi, who is said to have seen the 'War God's Record' in the War God's Hall before breaking through the void. Although this 'Longevity Manual' retains the essence of the 'War God's Record,' it doesn't necessarily mean it has the realm of breaking through the void. Later..." Kou Zhong and Xu Ziling, the two great heroes, concluded that the legendary Four Great Books were merely a fabrication by people in the martial arts world. The true Four Great Books should be the *Huangdi Neijing*, the *Wuzi Tianshu*, the *Moshen Xiegong*, and the *Wansheng Jiandian*. As for the whereabouts of these four books, they have long been lost. The later *Changsheng Jue*, *Tianmo Ce*, *Cihang Jiandian*, and *Zhanshen Tulu* were also derived from the *Huangdi Neijing*, the *Wuzi Tianshu*, the *Moshen Xiegong*, and the *Wansheng Jiandian*.
"Ah, such a thing actually happened!" Yang Yuanmu said incredulously. "How many people know about this?"
Actually, Yang Yuanmu asked this because he had heard of the *Moshen Xiegong*. Back then, his grandfather, together with Jiu Yangzi, the leader of the Tianshan Sect, and Dugu Yiba, the leader of the Huashan Sect, fought against the Demon King Bafeng, who cultivated the Demon King Xiegong. He wondered if this Demon King Xiegong was the same one Xie Fengling had mentioned. If it was, then the Demon King Bafeng trapped in his back mountain was a great scourge.
"This is merely a guess by the two great heroes, Kou Zhong and Xu Ziling. Who in the martial world has actually seen the four books: *The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic*, *The Book Without Words*, *The Demon God's Evil Arts*, and *The Ten Thousand Saints Sword Manual*? Even the four other books—*The Longevity Formula*, *The Heavenly Demon Strategy*, *The Compassionate Sword Manual*, and *The War God's Record*—have only been discovered in one or two copies. Furthermore, after Kou Zhong and Xu Ziling took their beloved wives to the South China Sea, even fewer people knew about them. This is what my father told me before he died," Xie Fengling said with a smile. "Tell me, how wonderful it would be to see even one or two of these four truly extraordinary books in our lifetime!"
"Hehe, I think there's no hope for that." Yang Yuanmu laughed. He felt relieved when Xie Fengling said that. His grandfather was a sword saint, but he wasn't very famous in the Central Plains martial arts world. Back then, Sichuan was a remote corner of the country, and his grandfather rarely traveled around the Central Plains martial arts world. The Demon King Bafeng only committed evil deeds in the Western Regions. The Central Plains martial arts world didn't know much about the two of them. If the Demon King Bafeng was practicing the martial arts from the "Demon God's Evil Art", and people in the Central Plains martial arts world knew that the Demon King Bafeng was trapped in their back mountain, then wouldn't things get really bad? "Not to mention that the two great heroes Kou Zhong and Xu Ziling are no longer in the Central Plains, even the four books, 'The Longevity Manual,' 'The Heavenly Demon Strategy,' 'The Compassionate Sword Manual,' and 'The War God's Record,' have only been seen in small parts. How could we possibly see the even more mysterious 'Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic,' 'The Book Without Words,' 'The Demon God's Evil Skill,' and 'The Ten Thousand Saints' Sword Manual'?"
"Haha, Brother Yang is right. But as martial artists, it's inevitable to feel a little regretful." Xie Fengling said, "Come, let's drink and not talk about these things anymore."
Yang Yuanmu snapped out of his reverie and thought about it carefully. He felt that it shouldn't be related to Demon King Bafeng. So what could be making him so unsettled? Yang Yuanmu shook his head, unable to figure it out. Also, he clearly felt that there was an internal force in Tian'er's body before, but why was there nothing when he checked her body again? Could it be that Tian'er saw Demon King Bafeng? That shouldn't be possible. If she saw Demon King Bafeng, given his personality, would Tian'er still be alive? Besides, Demon King Bafeng has been imprisoned for so many years, perhaps he is already dead. Tian'er's unusual behavior might be due to ancestral protection, which is why nothing bad happened. Time passed slowly, and Yang Yuanmu still couldn't figure it out. Perhaps he was just worrying unnecessarily. After sending Tian'er to Tianshan, he would join forces with the Tang and Xie families to retire from the martial world and leave this place of trouble. Maybe things would be better then.
