【The Wandering Swordsman】(Part 2)

The Wandering Swordsman (Part 2)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Around noon, he returned to the small town. In the evening, he entered Kaifeng City. He first
changed his clothes at an inn, carefully rolled up all the silver notes in the lacquer box, and hid them in a wide belt.
Then, he swaggered into the Jade Fragrance Courtyard.
As soon as he entered the Jade Fragrance Courtyard, he saw Lei Ying sitting in the hall, with women on either side of him, thoroughly enjoying himself. Lei Ying
immediately stood up when he saw him.
From Zhou Jian's expression, Lei Ying could tell at a glance that Zhou Jian had already killed the person he was supposed to kill!
Lei Ying frowned, waved his hand, and everyone in the hall retreated. Lei Ying said in a deep voice, "
What happened?"
Zhou Jian coldly replied, "That man is already dead. Why do you ask about what happened?"
"Good! Good! Good!"
Lei Ying said "good" three times in a row. Frankly, even someone as cunning and shrewd as him, a veteran killer
, didn't know what to say.
Zhou Jian smiled and said, "The man I killed seemed to be a very wealthy man. His room was filled with many
beautiful things. I picked one up. Take a look, is it valuable?"
As he spoke, Zhou Jian took out a jade lion, its color a deep green, from his robes.
When Zhou Jian took out the jade lion and placed it on the table, Lei Ying's eyes widened!
"What? Is it valuable?"
Zhou Jian squinted, staring intently at Lei Ying, and asked, "How much is it worth?"
Lei Ying also looked at Zhou Jian, and then slowly held up two fingers.
Zhou Jian tentatively asked, "Twenty thousand taels of silver?"
Lei Ying's heart pounded. He had no idea that Zhou Jian didn't know the true value of the jade lion.
Holding up about two fingers meant two hundred thousand taels, and he could easily resell it for at least four hundred thousand! But Zhou Jian
said, "Twenty thousand!"
Lei Ying's heart pounded as he asked, "Alright, do you want silver notes now, or..."
Zhou Jian pushed the jade lion towards Lei Ying, saying, "I want it now!"
Lei Ying's hands trembled. He immediately pulled out two silver notes, placed them on the table, grabbed the jade lion
, and turned to leave. Reaching the door, he turned back and said,
"Okay, if I need anything, I'll come here to find you. If you want to find me, you can ask at the bank I took you to
."
He walked out the door, shouting, "Hurry up and serve the guests! Pick out the best women for him!"
In an instant, dozens of people rushed in and surrounded Zhou Jian.
Zhou Jian sat there with an air of nonchalance. The madam pushed a timid, head-down girl in front of him.
Zhou Jian reached out; the girl's hand was icy cold and trembling slightly.
He smiled, and the madam, standing beside him, grinned widely. She was even more pleased, and the girl trembled even more violently.
Zhou Jian, completely experienced in such matters, used one finger to press against the girl's chin,
lifting her head. The girl's eyes were closed, but her eyelids twitched constantly, her long
eyelashes trembled, and within them seemed to be tears.
Zhou Jian laughed incessantly, saying, "Good! Good!"
As he spoke, he pushed forward the approximately 20,000 silver notes Lei Yingcai had given him, saying, "I also
want the best food. Prepare water for me; I want to bathe."
The madam took the silver notes. With each command Zhou Jian gave, a large group of people responded. Zhou Jian stood up
, feeling almost lightheaded. His right hand remained firmly in his grasp of the young woman's.
As soon as he stood, the madam called out, and two maids immediately led the way. The young woman lowered her head
even further, while Zhou Jian's laughter grew louder.
A pair of red candles, an exquisitely beautiful room, a young woman as beautiful as white jade—Zhou Jian felt that
even as emperor, he couldn't have achieved anything more!
Zhou Jian strode smugly, humming an off-key tune with a beaming smile. He embraced the trembling girl
and whispered in her ear, "Don't be afraid. I'm so glad to be with you. Are you still a virgin?"
"Yes!" the girl nodded.
"Tell me, what's your name?"
"Xiao Jiao."
She whispered, "It's a new name my mother gave me."
"Xiao Jiao, oh, I'll cherish you. Now I want you to take off all your clothes. I've never really
appreciated a real virgin before!"
Xiao Jiao blushed, slowly undressed, then touched her breast with one hand and covered her genitals with the other, turned her head away, and lay
down. Zhou Jian silently removed her hands.
His body was fair and clean, his breasts small but firm, his abdomen smooth, his navel
deep, his pubic hair clustered together, and his vulva tightly closed into a slit, appearing somewhat pink.
Zhou Jian swallowed hard. His erection was already standing tall.
He picked her up, embracing and stroking her as if cherishing a child, and their two naked, hot
bodies immediately felt a surge of pleasure! "Ugh... I, I..." Xiao Jiao trembled, unable
to say anything.
Zhou Jian laid her flat on the bed, about to cultivate this virgin territory, and pushed his hard penis into her
vulva. Xiao Jiao immediately clamped her legs together and cried out, "Ah... it hurts... it hurts..."
He tried several times, but she resisted each time.
At this moment, Zhou Jian was burning with lust, his eyes bloodshot. How could he give up? But Xiao Jiao was truly virgin
and difficult to penetrate. So he smeared some saliva on her clitoris and said, feigning kindness,
"How about this? I'll just rub it here slowly."
After saying that, Zhou Jian used the head of his penis to rub and rotate on that small red stone.
Gradually, Xiao Jiao's body relaxed. She closed her eyes, already experiencing some pleasure; her
vulva was already leaking fluid.
Zhou Jian was overjoyed. Taking advantage of her inattention, he suddenly thrust his glans downwards, finally managing to slide a small
section over.
"Ah...no, no! Wait...ah...it hurts, it hurts...ah...no, ah..."
Xiao Jiao began to resist again, pushing hard against Zhou Jian's shoulders with both hands, her white buttocks shifting as she tried to break
free.
Zhou Jian, however, did not relax at all. Xiao Jiao's face flushed with anxiety, her teeth clenched. He hardened his heart and
thrust forward a little more.
"No...no...ah...ah...it hurts so much...boohoo...boohoo...it hurts so much...
ah...please, ah...boohoo..." Xiao Jiao couldn't take it anymore and finally cried.
Seeing her pitiful state, Zhou Jian felt no pity, but rather a
strange feeling of conquest and superiority rose within him. He smirked, then thrust his hips forward with tremendous force, penetrating her deeply!
"Ouch...ah...ah..." Xiao Jiao cried out twice, then her eyes rolled back, her lips turned purple, and she
fainted.
Zhou Jian was in the throes of passion and couldn't stop. He checked Xiao Jiao's breathing, knowing it was only a temporary
shock, then lifted her slender thighs and began to thrust in and out with a "plop, plop" sound.
After more than ten minutes, Xiao Jiao opened her eyes and woke up. She said softly, "Ah, ah... please,
please be gentle... it hurts so much."
Zhou Jian smiled, slowly pulled the hard thing out, and then slowly inserted it again, each time inserting it all the way
in. He continued this thrusting for another ten or twenty minutes. Xiao Jiao no longer seemed to be in pain as before; instead
, a slight look of ecstasy appeared in her eyes. She softly hummed,
"Ah...ah...mmm...mmm..."
Zhou Jian felt that her jade gate was now lubricated enough to move freely in and out. So, he supported himself on the bed with both hands, his waist
thrusting up and down, making Xiao Jiao cry out,
"Oh, oh...oh...I can't take it anymore...oh...like this...oh...it hurts...
oh, be gentle...I, I'm in so much pain...no, no..."
Just as Zhou Jian was feeling extremely comfortable, he completely ignored her pleas, gathered his strength, and thrust wildly,
finally ejaculating. He panted heavily, "Ha...ha..."
Xiao Jiao frowned, feeling his hard penis almost piercing her heart, and it was
trembling slightly.
Zhou Jian pulled out his shrunken penis, looking down to see sticky blood on the glans. He
lay down, smiling contentedly. Xiao
Jiao hugged her knees by the bedside, sobbing softly. Zhou Jian stayed in Yuxiang Courtyard for a full half month before Lei Ying reappeared. Lei Ying immediately saw that Zhou Jian had become a different person, both clever and snobbish. Lei Ying couldn't help but ask himself: If Zhou Jian had looked like this when they first met, would he have cooperated with him in committing murder? He had originally intended to use Zhou Jian to kill for him. However, at this moment, he dared not even think of the word "use," and the word naturally became "cooperate. " Lei Ying stared at Zhou Jian, speechless for a long time. Zhou Jian, however, sat down opposite Lei Ying as if nothing had happened, exuding an indifferent air, and said, "Master Lei, long time no see!" Lei Ying took a breath and said, "We have something to do again!" Zhou Jian's heart skipped a beat. "This time, we're leaving Kaifeng!" Lei Ying immediately added. "Oh, where are we going?" "We'll go to Luoyang to rest first. Once we get there, someone will naturally come to meet us." Zhou Jian lowered his voice even further and asked, "Who are we going to kill this time?" Lei Ying shook his head and said, "I don't know yet, but no matter who we kill, you won't be afraid, right ?" Zhou Jian didn't answer, but instead... laughed loudly. Amidst his laughter, Lei Ying said, "The carriage is ready; let's set off now." "Use my carriage," he continued, "I've had one built, drawn by four magnificent horses. It's faster and more impressive than yours!" Lei Ying was stunned for a moment, then said, "What's the use? You still want to drive for me?" Zhou Jian stretched, a half-smile on his face, and said, "Master Lei, you're mistaken. Why would I drive myself , exposed to the sun and rain? Just give me a few coins, and someone will drive for me!" Lei Ying smiled, stood up, and still looking at Zhou Jian, said, "You're different now!" Zhou Jian clapped his hands and shouted loudly, ordering his maid to bring out his clothes. Upon hearing that Master Zhou was leaving, the entire Jade Fragrance Courtyard was in an uproar. When a burly coachman drove the square carriage away from the courtyard, at least fifty or sixty people lined up in front to see him off, hoping for Master Zhou's swift return. They had no idea who Zhou Jian was, nor did they need to ask. Knowing that Zhou Jian was a lavish spendthrift was enough to make them fawn over him. At Lei Ying's command, the carriage stopped outside the Hongxing Inn in Luoyang. The burly driver shouted and whipped the carriage to a stop. Zhou Jian pushed open the door, but before he could even step down, he heard a delicate voice say, "Senior brother, look at this carriage, how beautiful it is!" Zhou Jian felt a surge of pride. He immediately turned his head to look in the direction of the voice and saw a man and a woman standing in the other end of the ebony carriage. The man was handsome and tall, with a long sword hanging at his waist, while the woman, dressed in a white gauze dress, looked ethereal and graceful, gazing at Zhou Jian's carriage.

As Zhou Jian looked at her, the girl's eyes met his. Her bright, sparkling
eyes darted around, revealing shallow dimples.
Zhou Jian was instantly stunned! Although there were many beauties in the Jade Fragrance Courtyard, none could compare to the girl before him.
She was so beautiful, charming, and captivating!
Lei Ying then stepped out of the carriage, gently nudging Zhou Jian from behind, saying, "Let's go to the inn!"
At that moment, a man and a woman beside the carriage also boarded. Zhou Jian was still somewhat absent-minded,
following Lei Ying forward while constantly looking back.
However, the girl never peeked out again.
After entering Hongxing Inn, Lei Ying whispered, "Don't overthink it. That's
the daughter of Zhu Wu, the great hero of Luoyang, the White Horse and the Golden Sword!"
Zhou Jian's face flushed slightly. His blush wasn't from embarrassment, but from displeasure that Lei
Ying had seen through his thoughts. He had too many secrets, and they were absolutely not things Lei Ying could know!
After the attentive waiter left, Zhou Jian couldn't help but ask, "Who is that White Horse and Golden Sword?"
Lei Ying glanced at Zhou Jian and said, "He's a great martial arts master, even your former master, Master Long, can't
compare to him!"
Zhou Jian lay down on the bed. He and Lei Ying waited until it was dark when the waiter brought the food
. After eating dinner, Zhou Jian called some singers to perform for half an hour before lying back down on the bed and
falling asleep soon after.
He was awakened by a low murmur of conversation. When he sat up,
he saw three figures in clay figures sitting across the table from Lei Ying, who was talking to them in hushed tones
.
One of the clay figures said, "The fiftieth birthday of Zhu Wu, the White Horse Golden Sword, is the day after tomorrow. We want him to..."
He stopped abruptly when he saw Zhou Jian sit up.
Zhou Jian immediately said, "It's alright, he's my assistant!"
The three clay figures exchanged glances, and one of them said, "We were just... talking about Zhu Wu's fiftieth
birthday, which is the day after tomorrow. We want him to die on that day!"
Upon hearing this, Zhou Jian's heart pounded wildly again.
He knew what a powerful figure Zhu Wu, the White Horse Golden Sword, was.
Lei Ying paused, then said, "I've never refused a business deal before, but this time, I'm truly sorry
!"
The three dough figurines hesitated, one of them lowering his voice, "Master Lei, why? Is it because the White Horse
Golden Sword's martial arts are too high, and his reputation too great?"
Lei Ying sneered, "No matter how great the reputation, no matter how high the martial arts, everyone will become a wronged soul under my command!"
The three dough figurines said in unison, "Then why?"
Lei Ying placed his hand on the table, saying, "Time, only two days. Even if I can do it, you
can't afford the price!"
The three dough figurines again said in unison, "We can afford it!"
Lei Ying glared at the three men's small, bulging eyes, which gleamed with greed. His voice, hard as
a bear's, coldly said, "Don't speak too soon. Do you know how much I need?"
He paused, took a deep breath, and then spoke slowly and deliberately, each word
clenched between his teeth, looking quite menacing. The three men smiled bitterly and said, "Master Lei Ying wants 100,000 taels of gold!"
The old man sighed and said, "Such a high price!"
As he spoke, he reached into his robes and took out a deerskin bag. He went to the table, opened
the bag, and with a clatter, more than a dozen sparkling diamonds fell out, each one definitely
the size of a fingernail.
The old man in the masked clothes counted nine diamonds, then put the rest into a deerskin bag, saying, "Uncle Lei, you're
a connoisseur, you'll naturally know these are national treasures of the Abbasid Caliphate. Such diamonds are extremely rare. I'll give you 250,000
taels of silver per diamond. You won't lose out, will you?"
Lei Ying's voice almost changed as he repeatedly said, "No loss, no loss! It's settled then!"
The old man in the masked clothes said in a deep voice, "Remember, the day after tomorrow, we want Zhu Wu to die a violent death at the Shoutang!"
The three masked figures, following the old man, darted out the window with a "whoosh," disappearing very quickly. Zhou Jian
took a step forward, and Lei Ying stretched out his hands, covering the diamonds on the table, and looked up at Zhou Jian.
Zhou Jian said, "So your income is that high. This time, naturally you'll be the one to pay." "
Go, let's go together!"
Zhou Jian laughed, "If we go together, how will we divide it?"
Lei Ying's hands remained on the table; he simply gestured towards the sheepskin box, saying, "This is all
yours!"
Zhou Jian laughed, "Consider it good luck; I've met the God of Wealth."
Lei Ying didn't say anything, just paced back and forth. He paced all night, while Zhou Jian simply watched him.
In the morning, Lei Ying nodded to Zhou Jian, and the two left the inn together, arriving at Xinghua Restaurant. Although it was
still early, Xinghua Restaurant was already quite crowded. Lei Ying and Zhou Jian walked in with an air of nonchalance.
A waiter came to greet them. Lei Ying ordered the dishes and asked, "Does Bai Ma Jin Jian's daughter come here often?"
The waiter laughed and said, "Master Bai Ma has over sixty cooks, but Miss Zhu loves
coming here."
"What does she like to eat?"
The waiter said, "There's a dish called Honey-Roasted Golden Carp Lips, a must-have at every meal. There aren't many golden carp from the Yellow River. We need to prepare ten every four days
, and each one costs ten taels of silver!"
Lei Ying flipped his hand and pulled out a large gold ingot, saying, "Today, we'll
take all the golden carp from Xinghua Restaurant!"
The waiter stared wide-eyed at Lei Ying, then at the gold ingot in Lei Ying's hand, speechless.
Lei Ying laughed, "Even if Miss Zhu gets angry, it's enough for you to buy dozens of acres of fertile land!"
The shopkeeper's hands trembled as he reached for the gold ingot, but then pulled his hand back, saying, "You have to take all the golden carp."
"Come on, make sure Miss Zhu doesn't get to eat the honey-roasted golden carp lips. Understand?"
The waiter nodded repeatedly. Lei Ying tossed the gold ingot in his hand, which the waiter caught, and then turned and walked away.
After a while, two men carried in a large wooden tub. The tub was full of lively golden carp. Zhou Jian
whispered, "Master Lei, shall we start with Miss Zhu?"
Lei Ying stared wide-eyed and nodded.
Lei Ying immediately added, "It's Zhu Wu's fiftieth birthday, there will be many guests, and the security will be tight. We can't just
barge in without a reason. Once we get to know Miss Zhu, it will be much easier!"
Zhou Jian's heart skipped a beat again for no reason. Lei Ying chuckled and said, "You're in luck!"
After a while, the food and wine were served. The two were halfway through their drinks when they suddenly heard a commotion outside. First,
there was a loud "bang," followed by a "clang," as if something had been smashed. Then,
a woman shouted, "You scoundrel!"
Although the woman's voice was filled with anger and she was cursing, her beautiful voice
was still very pleasant to hear.
Then, several people explained in hushed tones, and then the woman asked again, "Where is she?"
Zhou Jian and Lei Ying exchanged a glance upon hearing this. A series of footsteps approached the curtain quickly, and with
a "whoosh," the curtain was pulled open, revealing a beautiful woman standing before the door, her face contorted with anger.
At this moment, Zhou Jian's heart pounded wildly. The woman who had captivated him all night had finally
appeared!
The beautiful woman standing outside the curtain, draped in a finely embroidered white cloak, was strikingly beautiful and captivating
. This was none other than Zhu Xiaohong, the daughter of the martial arts master, Bai Ma Jin Jian!
Zhu Xiaohong had barely lifted the curtain when she met Zhou Jian's gaze, and she too was momentarily stunned. Yesterday,
when she left Xinghua Tower, she saw Zhou Jian's carriage, and her impression of him was quite deep. You must
know that the Zhou Jian of today was completely different from the one who wore tattered clothes and was soaked in the rain. His belt
held a large stack of silver notes, and he wore a fine brocade robe; to anyone, he looked like a young master.
After a moment of surprise, Zhu Xiaohong's anger subsided slightly, but she still pointed and said, "Did you
buy all the Yellow River Golden Carp?"
Zhou Jian stared at Zhu Xiaohong, his heart pounding, unable to utter a single word. Lei Ying frowned slightly. Lei Ying gently kicked Zhou
Jian's leg and bowed slightly, saying, "Yes! What can I do
for you, young lady? Please speak." "Give me the ten carp, and I'll double the silver!"
Lei Ying laughed, "We don't care about the silver; we want to gather all the golden carp to give away!" Zhu
Xiaohong was taken aback and asked, "Give them to whom?"
Lei Ying said, "To the great hero Zhu, the White Horse and Golden Sword, whose birthday is approaching. We wish to offer our congratulations, but we know that the great hero has connections
all over the world. What kind of birthday gift wouldn't he have? Only these Yellow River golden carp are something that can only be found by chance!"
Before Lei Ying could finish speaking, Zhu Xiaohong's anger had completely dissipated, and she laughed. A beautiful woman's slight anger certainly has its charm
, but her gentle smile is even more captivating, leaving Zhou Jian completely mesmerized.
Lei Ying feigned ignorance and continued, "That's why we need to collect a hundred golden carp to send to Master Zhu as
a way to request an audience!"
Although Zhu Xiaohong was from a family of heroes with a long tradition of martial arts and considerable skill, she had never actually been in the martial world
. She only knew how to listen to flattery and considered everything too simple. How could she know the wickedness of people's hearts?
As soon as Lei Ying finished speaking, she said, "That makes things easier. You were originally going to give the fish to my father!"
Lei Ying feigned surprise, repeatedly kicking Zhou Jian as she stood up. Zhou Jian also hurriedly stood up
. Lei Ying said, "Miss, your father is…?"
Zhu Xiaohong proudly replied, "My father is Bai Ma Jin Jian!"
Lei Ying chuckled and said, "I see. Miss Zhu, if you wish, please allow me to treat you
."
Before Zhu Xiaohong could respond, Zhou Jian shouted, "Someone!"
A figure appeared before Zhu Xiaohong.
The moment the two diamonds were displayed, everyone fell silent. Not to mention the dazzling diamond, which possesses an
irresistible power, the guests were not unsophisticated people; they naturally knew what it was and
its value. Those who had just boasted about the precious gifts from their elders blushed instantly.
Zhu Xiaohong, for a moment, also gaped, her face filled with overwhelming joy, a
truly captivating sight. Zhou Jian felt an irresistible urge to immediately embrace her and be intimate with her.
Zhu Xiaohong stared intently at the table for a long time before taking a deep breath. Lei Ying
asked in a very calm tone, "My dear niece, do you like it?"
Zhu Xiaohong couldn't help but cheer, "I love it so much!"
Zhou Jian hurriedly said, "Only a celestial being like Miss Zhu deserves to wear such a treasure!"
Several other young women present were momentarily speechless with surprise. Zhu Xiaohong clutched the two diamonds
tightly in her hand, glanced at Zhou Jian, and said with delight, "Brother Zhou, you really know how to talk!"
Zhou Jian was even happier than if he had received the treasure himself. Lei Ying then explained some
knowledge about how to distinguish good diamonds from bad ones, and everyone left in high spirits. Back at the inn, Lei Ying rubbed his hands and said,
"Bai Ma Jin Jian's martial arts are extremely high. He can tell at a glance that I am also a martial artist, and besides, he's an old
hand in the martial world. His eagerness to see us is bound to arouse his suspicion!"
Zhou Jian asked, "Then how should we proceed?"
Lei Ying smiled slightly and said, "You're different. Just now at the banquet, when everyone was talking about martial arts, you spoke
eloquently. But that can only fool these young lads. In front of a master, you know nothing about martial arts,
and that can't be hidden!"
Zhou Jian blushed, and Lei Ying continued, "Zhu Jin Jian will definitely see at a glance that you don't know martial arts, and he
won't be on guard. I've already thought of a plan for you. You should pretend to be a member of the imperial family from the capital, and subtly reveal..."
" A few words, and when asked, you vehemently deny it. This will only make people more convinced that you are someone of importance, someone
who comes to befriend you because of your reputation for the White Horse and Golden Sword. Then, Zhu Wu will no longer have any doubts!"
Zhou Jian suddenly stood up and said, "That's right!"
Lei Ying added, "Moreover, the more mysterious your identity, the easier it will be for you to get to that other matter!"
Zhou Jian was overjoyed. That night, he tossed and turned, unable to sleep, having countless dreams. He never imagined that
he would have so many extraordinary encounters after meeting Lei Ying!
The next morning, Zhou Jian woke up feeling somewhat groggy and disoriented. Lei Ying took him to all
the jewelry and antique shops in Luoyang, where they bought four birthday gifts: a four-foot-tall coral tree, a jadeite
rockery, a set of Jingdezhen teaware, and a telescope that had been presented as tribute by a Westerner and was now in circulation.
They returned to the inn around noon when a commotion arose outside. A burly man, accompanied by a dozen followers, arrived
with a visiting card bearing the names of Bai Ma, Jin Jian, and Zhu Wu, inviting Lei Ying and Zhou Jian to Bai Ma Manor . At the manor gate, dozens of people were already standing there. The two diamonds adorning Zhu Xiaohong's body gleamed brilliantly in the sunlight. Upon reaching the manor gate, Lei Ying alighted first, then turned and, feigning great respect, led Zhou Jian down from the carriage. Zhu Xiaohong walked over first and said, "Everyone has arrived. This is my father!" Zhu Wu also walked over. His gaze was sharp. He first sized up Lei Ying for a moment, then looked at Zhou Jian. When he saw Zhou Jian, he was slightly taken aback. Just as Lei Ying had expected, Bai Ma Jin Jian could tell at a glance that Zhou Jian knew no martial arts! In an instant, Zhu Wu 's heart was filled with doubt. This young man didn't know martial arts, while the fat man with him clearly had extremely high attainments in both internal and external martial arts. According to his disciple and daughter, the two of them addressed each other as uncle and nephew yesterday, but now it seemed that the older one was very respectful to the younger one. Thinking of this, his heart started to pound. It was rare to see someone who was so generous from the start. Furthermore, such a treasure could not possibly be possessed by ordinary people. Zhu Wu was immediately suspicious and thought that this young man who claimed to be surnamed Zhou must have an extremely unusual background! Zhu Wu looked at Zhou Jian with an uncertain expression. Lei Ying, seeing this, was overjoyed, thinking to himself, "The matter is more than half done!" Immediately, Lei Ying ordered everyone to bring down the gifts. Zhou Jian exchanged pleasantries with Zhu Wu, saying, "I came lightly from the capital ..." He had only said one sentence when Lei Ying said, "Nephew..." He called out, then quickly winked at Zhou Jian. Zhou Jian pretended to misspoke and quickly corrected himself, saying, " I didn't bring much with me on the journey; these were all bought in Luoyang. I hope you won't find them too meager, Master Zhu!" Many guests who had come to offer birthday wishes followed him into the magnificent hall of Bai Ma Manor. Zhou Jian was even more delighted, because Zhu Xiaohong had been by his side the whole time! Yesterday, as soon as Zhu Xiaohong returned to the White Horse Manor, she prepared to welcome distinguished guests, cleaning a courtyard. Zhu Xiaohong then led Zhou Jian around the manor. It wasn't until late afternoon that the White Horse Manor's steward rushed up, saying, "Miss, the Manor Master is with me!" Zhu Xiaohong, looking extremely unwilling, followed the steward away. After walking several steps, she turned back and smiled. This smile left Zhou Jian standing there dumbfounded, unable to move an inch for a long time! Zhu Xiaohong arrived at the inner courtyard, going straight to her father's study. She saw her father pacing back and forth with his hands behind his back, his expression very solemn. Zhu Xiaohong called out with a grin, "Father!" Zhu Wu turned around and said, "Xiaohong, when you were with that Zhou fellow, did you manage to find out his background?" Zhu Xiaohong played with the diamond in the net and said, "How was it?" Zhu Wu stamped his foot and said, "Why don't you understand? Don't you understand? I think that Fatty Liu, who possesses extraordinary skills , is a master of the Imperial Guard." Zhu Xiaohong was suddenly startled and exclaimed, "What? Uncle Lei is a master of the Imperial Guard? Then, Brother Zhou, he…" Zhu Wu hurriedly said, "Silence! What are you shouting about? Zhou Jian is obviously an alias. Judging from his age and background, he's most likely a descendant of the current emperor, a member of the imperial family…" Zhu Xiaohong's heart pounded wildly. She lowered her voice and said, "Father, you...you said he's a prince?" Zhu Wu looked at his daughter and said, "In short, treat them well, don't neglect them. You'd better rein in your arrogant temper !" Zhu Xiaohong turned and walked out, her heart pounding like a deer. She never imagined that Zhou Jian might be a prince! And if Zhou Jian really was a prince... Zhu Xiaohong's heart pounded, and she quickened her pace towards her residence. Meanwhile, after Zhu Xiaohong left, Zhou Jian stood there for a long time, feeling a little guilty. He suddenly remembered that Zhu Wu had suddenly called his daughter away; had he already seen through his disguise? He feigned composure and walked forward to the main hall, where he saw Lei Ying engaged in lively conversation with a group of martial arts masters. Those surrounding Lei Ying wore expressions of admiration. Zhou Jian approached Lei Ying and gave him a wink. Lei Ying excused himself and left. Once they were alone, Lei Ying said, "You look flustered, but you thought you were appearing calm." Unexpectedly, Lei Ying saw through him. He quickly said, "I was perfectly fine with Xiao Hong when Zhu Wu suddenly summoned him. Have we given ourselves away?" "Don't worry," Lei Ying said, patting Zhou Jian's shoulder with a laugh. "Zhu Wu already thinks I'm a top-tier imperial guard. He's been trying to trick me with questions, but I've been evasive and vague. He's looking for his daughter to get information from you. Good lad, you're lucky! No woman can resist a prince!" ※※※※※

When Zhu Xiaohong left her boudoir, even her closest maidservant was momentarily stunned.
She had deliberately dressed up, changed into a new outfit—a light blue gauze dress—and walked out gracefully
, making one suspect she was a celestial being descended to earth.
Zhou Jian was a prince! There were plenty of beautiful girls in the world, but how many had the chance to be with
a prince?
Thinking of this, Zhu Xiaohong's heart pounded like a deer, and a blush crept onto her pretty face.
She was a renowned beauty, and countless men had fawned over her, but now she would use
her own beauty to win the heart of a prince and capture him.
She knew that if she was willing to yield, no man in the world could resist such temptation, and when she thought of
this, a strange feeling welled up throughout her body.
Zhu Xiaohong, her white dress fluttering, walked forward from her boudoir to Zhou Jian's courtyard. There was a distance to travel, and
almost every man she passed involuntarily stopped and stared at
her.
But Zhu Xiaohong looked at no one. At that moment, only one person occupied her mind: Zhou Jian,
whom she believed could bring a girl the highest honor.
The closer she got to Zhou Jian's courtyard, the faster her heart pounded, and the redder her face became.
Entering the corridor, her legs trembled slightly. She gripped the railing, almost unable to move forward
.
And just then, Zhou Jian suddenly appeared.
He appeared at the other end of the corridor, about two or three zhang away. Zhu Xiaohong saw it clearly. Zhou Jianyi
froze upon seeing her, then hurriedly took a few steps forward, froze again, and then
walked forward until he was right in front of her.
Zhu Xiaohong was an extremely beautiful girl, but in her entire life, she had never
been more beautiful and captivating than at this moment. Her cheeks were flushed, a vibrant red that
shone through her snow-white, delicate skin. Her eyes were watery, captivating and mesmerizing. Coupled with her rapid breathing
and heaving chest, Zhou Jianyi couldn't help but clench his teeth tightly at her full breasts.
As she walked towards Zhou Jianyi, a wave of intoxicating fragrance almost made him faint
. Zhou Jianyi felt as if he had been electrocuted, his whole body tingling, and he involuntarily let out a soft sigh.
(Was there electricity before?)
After Zhu Xiaohong walked past Zhou Jian, she turned back with a smile, her eyes alluring.
Although Zhou Jian had already enjoyed his time in the Jade Fragrance Courtyard, Zhu Xiaohong was the daughter of a highly skilled martial artist, and the experience was naturally quite
different. He was instantly overcome with desire and reached out his hand.
But as he reached out, Zhu Xiaohong giggled and gracefully disappeared.
Zhou Jian hurriedly followed behind, and in the blink of an eye, the two arrived at Zhou Jian's bedroom.
Zhu Xiaohong entered the room, slightly out of breath, her back to Zhou Jian. She asked, "Are you satisfied here?"
Zhou Jian slowly walked over, coming to stand behind Zhu Xiaohong. Their bodies were almost touching
, but Zhu Xiaohong didn't flinch. Zhou Jian's courage grew immediately. He whispered, "
I always felt something was missing, but with you here, this place is paradise!"
After saying that, Zhou Jian gently reached out and embraced Zhu Xiaohong's slender waist. Zhu Xiaohong
let out a soft moan, leaning back against him with a boneless grace.
She leaned against Zhou Jian, her head tilted back, resting on his shoulder. Her cheeks were flushed, her breath
slightly ragged, her starry eyes closed, but her long eyelashes trembled.
He lowered his head to kiss her, first grazing Xiao Hong's pink cheek. Xiao Hong's cheeks burned like
fire; she only let out another soft moan, her eyes still tightly closed, motionless. Zhou Jian took a deep
breath, his hand, which had been around Xiao Hong's slender waist, slowly moved upwards, slipping inside her gauze robe and the silk ribbons of her bodice
. When his hand finally grasped Xiao Hong's breasts, her body trembled.
She gasped, "Brother Zhou...I..." Her voice trembled, and her eyes closed even tighter.
Zhu Xiaohong wanted to say that no man had ever touched her body before, but at this moment, her
whole body was weak. Zhou Jian's fingers were only gently rubbing, but to Zhu Xiaohong, it felt like bolts of
lightning were passing through her body. She couldn't express what she wanted to say; she was completely confused
.
Just as she was becoming dazed, she felt Zhou Jian lift her up. She closed her eyes
tighter, her breathing more rapid, and she felt herself being placed on the bed.
Her heart pounded even harder. She didn't have the courage to open her eyes. When Zhou Jian's body pressed against hers, all she knew
was to hold him tightly. It was a man's body, so strong and solid.
She kept her eyes closed, panting, until she felt Zhou Jian's burning lips kiss her eyes, and only then did she slightly
open them.
When she opened her eyes, they were burning red.
Seeing Zhou's robust physique, she embraced him tightly, lost in passion. She felt a tearing
pain in her lower body, but she endured it.
A woman who had practiced martial arts was different from the courtesans of the Jade Fragrance Courtyard. Zhu Xiaohong's naked body possessed a
high degree of elasticity and healthy curves.
Her shoulders had a very beautiful curve, her large breasts stood proudly like pendants, her calves
were strong and powerful, and her thighs were rounded and shapely.
As Zhou Jian admired her body, he slowly inserted his penis. Zhu Xiaohong
cried out softly, her voice sweet and seductive, "Brother Zhou...ah...I...I...ah...Brother Zhou...ah..."
She had come willingly, so she had to endure the pain of losing her virginity.
Zhou Jian, on the other hand, could never have imagined such a seductive encounter. Zhu Xiaohong was a celestial beauty, and he had
her, truly, firmly beneath her.
"I love you, Xiaohong, you have to be patient."
He finished speaking and pushed his penis further in. Zhu Xiaohong gritted her teeth, her brows furrowed, and
beads of sweat appeared on her forehead.
"Hoo, so comfortable, Xiaohong, I...I'm all the way in." Zhou Jian
felt a surge of sweetness. He said, "Xiaohong, you're so good, hoo, your inside is so tight and warm, hoo..."
"Mmm...gently, gently...mmm...I...oh! I...Brother Zhou...mmm...
gently."
"I know, I'll take it slow, Xiaohong, you're so beautiful, Xiaohong, your breasts are so lovely!"
"Mmm...Brother Zhou."
Zhou Jian leaned down, pressing his chest tightly against her breasts. He kissed her cherry lips, his waist beginning to
thrust.
"Mmm...mmm...oh dear...Brother Zhou...oh dear...I...Brother Zhou..." Zhu Xiaohong
cried out.
"Don't be sad, I'll take good care of you. I'll take it slow, Xiaohong. The pain is short-lived, it'll
pass soon," Zhou Jian explained, while already beginning to thrust in and out.
"Mmm, oh dear...oh dear...Brother Zhou...I...I...oh dear...it hurts, it hurts...
Brother Zhou...can...can you stop...oh dear..."
Zhu Xiaohong couldn't help but plead, but Zhou Jian ignored her, focusing only on his work. He felt his whole body
heating up, his blood boiling.
He thrust in and out hundreds of times. Zhu Xiaohong had stopped pleading; instead, a look of surprise and flustered
coquettishness appeared on her face. She hummed, "Mmm...mmm...ha...mmm...Brother Zhou...mmm..."
Zhou Jian knew her moment of agony had passed, so he increased his strength, pressing his penis directly against her
clitoris.
Zhu Xiaohong's whole body trembled, her hips beginning to sway slowly in rhythm.
Zhou Jian took a breath and began his vigorous assault again. Zhu Xiaohong's body was burning hot, her juices flowing like
a flood.
"Ah, ah, Xiaohong...whoosh..."
Zhou Jian felt a surge of hot water on his glans, a numbness in his waist, and his thick semen gushed out.
Zhu Xiaohong let out a soft "Mmm," her hair disheveled. However, her disheveled hair only enhanced her
allure.
Zhou Jian whispered in her ear again, "Xiao Hong, isn't it amazing? We two are one
person!"
Zhu Xiao Hong hugged Zhou Jian even tighter, pressing herself against him. At that moment, she breathed a sigh of relief.
What she expected had happened; the tension and fear before it occurred had vanished. In a seductive,
alluring voice, she said, "I...I'm yours now!"
The next morning, Zhu Xiao Hong, her pink neck bowed, sat in Zhou'er's room under the rising sun, with Zhou Jian sitting
behind her.
Zhu Xiaohong stamped her foot and pouted, saying, "How am I supposed to go out and face anyone today?"
Zhou Jian sniffed her powdered hair and said, "What are you afraid of? You're the master's daughter. Who dares to say a word
against you!"
Zhu Xiaohong took a breath and nodded, saying, "What are you planning?"
Zhou Jian pulled Zhu Xiaohong into his arms and said, "I'll renovate the entire White Horse Manor. All the roofs
will be covered in gold, so the sunlight can shine on them. It will be visible from dozens of miles away, and under those golden roofs will live an unparalleled
beauty, my Zhu Xiaohong!"
Zhou Jian's words were like fine wine, making Zhu Xiaohong feel intoxicated. Zhou Jian wanted to say something more
, but then he heard Lei Ying's voice from the courtyard, calling out, "Nephew!"
Zhou Jian paused slightly, while Zhu Xiaohong blushed deeply and quickly pushed him away, saying, "Get out of here! How
can you let him in?"
Zhou Jian put on his coat and went outside. He saw Lei Ying standing with his hands behind his back in front of the artificial hill. Zhou Jian came up
behind him, but Lei Ying didn't turn around. He simply whispered, "How was it?"
Zhou Jian just let out a long sigh. He really
didn't know where to begin describing his passionate night with Zhu Xiaohong; it was a sweet and indescribable memory!
Lei Ying laughed and said, "But don't forget, today is the day we make our move!"
Zhou Jian was stunned. For a moment, he didn't know how to answer.
"I've thought it through. I'll go and call Zhu Wu to come see you here. When he arrives, Zhu Xiaohong will definitely be shy and run
away. You just need to bow to him. He'll already know you don't know any martial arts, so he won't be on guard. You know
how to make your move, right?"
Zhou Jianquan listened to Lei Ying's words. He looked up and couldn't help but shush.
Lei Ying reached out and patted him on the shoulder, saying, "That's right, Zhu Xiaohong is
the most charming woman you've ever met, but you'll definitely meet even more charming women in the future. You need to know that as long as you're alive and have
money, you'll definitely have fun. If you want to be in my line of work, you have to treat yourself like a stone, not a human."
Lei Ying's words were too insightful. He had now stepped onto a path of no return, one where there was only forward movement and no turning back
.
Lei Ying turned and walked out. Zhou Jian stood there for a moment, then returned to the house. Zhu Xiaohong was already dressed
. Upon seeing her, Zhou Jian paused, then said, "The Master is here!"
Zhu Xiaohong immediately covered her face with her hands, stamping her feet, and said, "I won't see anyone, not anyone at all!"
Zhou Jian smiled slightly and said, "Alright, then hide in the flower room and don't come out. I'll meet him in the outer room!"
Zhu Xiaohong blushed and nodded. Zhou Jian cupped her face, gazed at her for a long time, and kissed
her deeply. Zhu Xiaohong nestled in Zhou Jian's arms, as docile as a lamb.
Outside the courtyard, voices, horse sounds, and footsteps could be heard. Zhu Xiaohong turned around, hid behind the tent,
then secretly peeked out with half her face and smiled at Zhou Jian.
Zhou Jian stood there for a moment, then turned and walked out.
Bai Ma, Jin Jian, and Zhu Wu had been receiving congratulations from guests in the main hall since early morning; it was only now that he...
They chatted and laughed as they came to see the person he considered most important.
Lei Ying had accompanied him, but she stopped at the door and said with a smile, "Master, I
think it's better if you go in alone. I'm afraid my nephew will be too shy!"
Zhu Wu chuckled and strode in.
When he entered, Zhou Jian was already impeccably dressed and waiting for him. Zhu Wu, of course, didn't notice
the extremely sharp seven-headed sword hidden in Zhou Jian's sleeve.
Upon seeing Zhu Wu, Zhou Jian couldn't help but feel very nervous, which resulted in an awkward expression. Zhu
Wu, on the other hand, laughed.
Zhu Wu asked, "Young Master Zhou, what happened to you?"
Zhou Jian hurriedly replied, "Father-in-law, please accept my greeting!"
As he spoke, he bowed to him.
Zhu Wu grinned from ear to ear. Upon seeing Zhou Jian's bow,
he said, "No need for formalities, I..." He only got halfway through his sentence when suddenly, he felt a chill in his lower abdomen.
In that instant, the dagger in Zhou Jian's hand had been plunged into his abdomen, all the way to the hilt.
Zhu Wu felt the chill in his lower abdomen and knew something had happened, but for a moment, he still didn't know
what was going on. He abruptly took a step back and looked down, only to see a dagger embedded in his lower abdomen
, blood dripping down the hilt.
Zhou Jian thrust his dagger forward, his heart pounding with fear. He immediately stumbled back several steps, needing to grab
a teacup for support. The force of the thrust was so great that the entire dagger was embedded in
Zhu Wu's body, yet Zhu Wu remained standing, not falling. This utterly horrified Zhou Jian!
In an instant, large beads of sweat poured down Zhou Jian's face.
Zhu Wu not only didn't fall, but when he first saw the dagger embedded in his abdomen, he
bent over in pain. But then, he gradually straightened up.
Upon seeing Zhu Wu straighten up, Zhou Jian was stunned and let out a cry of alarm.
Just as he cried out in alarm, Zhu Wu raised his hands, his ten fingers cracking,
his body lurching, about to pounce on Zhou Jian.
At that moment, a loud "bang" rang out, the entire door swung open, and Lei Ying, moving like the wind,
darted in.
Lei Ying's hand rose and fell, striking Zhu Wu's back with a resounding "smack." Zhu Wu opened his mouth, spitting a mouthful of blood all over
Zhou Jian's face. Lei Ying spun around, his fingers flashing out, and in an instant, he struck
four vital points on Zhu Wu's body. Zhu Wu collapsed to the ground without even moving.
Lei Ying took a breath, reached out and grabbed Zhou Jian's hand, and started to walk outside. But they had only
taken two steps when Zhu Xiaohong emerged from inside.
Zhu Xiaohong came out after hearing the noise outside, and when she saw the scene
, she froze.
As soon as Lei Ying saw Zhu Xiaohong approach, he flicked his wrist, and with three sharp, seven-inch-long needles shooting out from his sleeve with three
sharp, gleaming sounds.
The three needles shot straight at Zhu Xiaohong, who stood there like a wooden goose, completely unaware of how to
dodge. Zhou Jian, on the other hand, suddenly gasped and made a very strange sound.
All of this happened at the same time. The moment Zhou Jian uttered that strange sound,
the three needles had already struck Zhu Xiaohong in the chest!
Zhu Xiaohong's body suddenly straightened up. She grabbed the curtain by the door with her backhand, raised one hand,
pointed at Zhou Jian, and her lips trembled as if she wanted to say something. However, whether she could say what she wanted to say or not
, Zhou Jian could not hear it, because Lei Ying turned around and shot out the three sharp shuttles, and immediately rushed out again
. He kept pulling Zhou Jian's hand, and Zhou Jian was pulled into the courtyard. Lei Ying, panting, said: "Quickly wipe
the blood off your face!"
Zhou Jian was numb. At first, it was due to excessive fear, because he had not
killed Zhu Wu in one go. Then, Zhu Xiaohong died at Lei Ying's hands, which shocked him to the extreme. At this moment, he was like
a wooden man. Lei Ying told him to wipe the blood off his face, so he raised his sleeve and wiped his face haphazardly.
As soon as Lei Ying entered the courtyard, he leaped upwards, soaring over the wall. Fortunately, no one saw him. Lei
Ying, pulling Zhou Jian along, reached the wall of Baima Manor, paused briefly, then leaped over
the wall, scaled the wide ditch outside, and ran another six or seven miles before stopping.
Lei Ying said, "This time, we've both been exposed. We have to escape at least five hundred miles. Let's go!"
Zhou Jian took off running, and the two ran another ten miles or so before stopping. They heard the
rapid sound of hooves on the road. They quickly lay down in the grass and saw more than a dozen riders
galloping past. The riders all had angry faces. They could clearly see that the one at the front was
Zhu Wu's eldest disciple.
Without a doubt, the events at Baima Manor had already unfolded.
The two of them turned around and darted away through the weeds, taking only the narrow paths. Whenever they heard voices, they immediately
lay down.
They walked until nightfall, reaching the riverbank. Counting the days, they had covered at least seventy or eighty
li (approximately 35-40 kilometers). Although many men from Baima Village had been sent to pursue them, they had managed to escape.
Lei Ying reached the riverbank and walked upstream for about a mile. Gazing at the surging water, he suddenly sighed and
said, "I'm getting old. I've worked my whole life, and I've never been so humiliated!"
Zhou Jian looked at the river, kicked a stone into it, and said, "This is humiliation?
Just escaping is already difficult enough, and this job paid so much!"
Lei Ying shook his head and said, "This is indeed the first time in my life I've killed someone and received so much reward
, but this is also the last time I'll kill someone."
Zhou Jian, who had been gazing at the river, abruptly turned around upon hearing Lei Ying's words, asking,
"What did you say?"
Lei Ying's plump face was covered in sweat. Wiping it away, he said, "I'm retiring!"
Zhou Jian jumped up as if punched in the chest. Killing for gold and silver was
something Zhou Jian had never even considered before, but it was also something he was now experiencing immense pleasure in. Lei Ying's sudden
announcement of retiring meant that everything was over for him?
Although he still had many silver notes at his waist, he had learned to
spend money like water; those notes wouldn't last him a year or two!
Zhou Jian's heart skipped a beat, and he whispered, "Uncle Lei, don't you want the gold and silver anymore?" Lei
Ying sighed deeply and said, "The gold and silver I've accumulated over the past twenty or thirty years
is more than I could ever spend in my entire life. Besides, after killing Zhu Wu, we'll have even more to collect!"
Zhou Jian's heart pounded. He wanted to ask Lei Ying where he kept all that gold and silver, but
then he changed his mind and didn't ask. It was impossible for him to say that. Lei Ying was a clever man;
if he asked, Lei Ying would be on guard!
And Zhou Jian knew best that once Lei Ying was on guard, he would never be able to kill him!
So, Zhou Jian didn't say anything more, just kept his head down and remained silent. Lei Ying looked ahead for a while, then slowly said
, "The people from Baima Village ca
n't catch up with us anymore. Let's go, let's go collect the silver from those dough figurines!" Lei Ying walked forward, and Zhou Jian followed behind him, going upstream. This time, they didn't need to walk so hurriedly
and frantically. They walked on the riverbank, where they could see quite far.
After walking three or five miles, they saw a small light ahead, constantly flashing, like someone
waving a torch. Lei Ying laughed, "They keep their word."
The two walked further forward, and gradually, the light became clearer. When they got closer, they could
see three people standing in the darkness. The one in the center, waving a torch, was, judging from his figure,
the three dough figurines who had suddenly appeared in the inn that night.
Lei Ying slowed his pace. The three men, having clearly noticed them, approached.
Reaching them, Lei Ying stopped and asked, "You've heard the news?"
Judging from his tone, he seemed quite pleased with himself.
One of the three dough figurines laughed, "Indeed, Bai Ma Village has been turned upside down. You did a great job."
Lei Ying smiled smugly and asked, "What about the remainder?"
The three men chuckled and said, "How could it be less? Please come with us. The number is too large to carry around
!"
Lei Ying nodded, seemingly satisfied with their words. The three men turned away, and the
one holding the torch casually tossed it into the river. With a "whoosh," the torch went out.
The sky was very dark. Lei Ying and Zhou Jian were not far from the three masked figures, but they could only make out
three indistinct silhouettes.
Soon, all five of them reached the embankment. They saw a boat moored on the riverbank. The boat was only about thirty feet
long, but it had a very tall cabin, and a person was standing on the bow.
Judging from the figure of the person standing on the bow, it was clear that it was the same person from that night. The old man who had appeared at the inn and
given Lei Ying the diamond and gold, the three dough figurines, stood on the boat and said, "Please board, everyone
!"
The boat was tied with an iron chain and was about fifteen feet from the shore, without a gangplank. Before the dough figurines could finish speaking,
Lei Ying said, "No need. We're not trying to build a relationship. Bring your silver notes aboard!"
The three dough figurines seemed surprised by Lei Ying's refusal and froze for a moment. But that moment of hesitation was
very brief; they…
"Alright!"
With that "Alright," the three of them coiled up like eagles, suddenly rising about ten feet
into the air, their bodies slightly tilted, and hurled themselves towards the boat.
The three landed on the deck, and the boat rocked slightly. The old man who had been standing on the deck came forward to greet them
. The four seemed to exchange a few words, but Zhou Jian and Lei Ying on the embankment couldn't hear
a word they said. They only saw the three dough figures enter the boat.
At this moment, Zhou Jian felt a little nervous.
He watched as the three men went into the cabin. A moment later, two of them
returned to the deck carrying a box, and the other two followed behind.
Zhou Jian hesitated for a moment, then whispered, "Uncle Lei, what if they have ulterior motives?"
Zhou Jian looked at Lei Ying, wanting to see his reaction, but Lei Ying just
laughed.
Zhou Jian didn't say anything more, but simply took two steps to the side, moving closer to the riverbank.
He anticipated something unexpected might happen, and he knew that if something did, Lei Ying possessed martial arts
skills, while he did not. His only way to escape was to flee into the river!
At that moment, two of the three dough figures, carrying boxes and one holding a lit torch,
began to lift them up.
The one holding the torch said, "The silver notes were not prepared adequately, so we have prepared red goods to be exchanged for silver."
Lei Ying laughed, "It's all the same!"
The one holding the torch took out a tinderbox from his pocket, waved it, and lit the torch. The flickering light made the three
figures sway unsteadily on the embankment, making them look even more eerie. Zhou Jian's heart pounded, and he
took two more steps towards the riverbank.
Just then, the other two dough figurines bent down and opened the box. The one holding the torch
brought it close to the box, and Lei Ying let out a cry of surprise.
Suddenly, the dough figurine holding the torch abruptly raised its hand, abruptly turning the blazing torch towards...
Lei Ying's face arched upwards.
As the flame approached Lei Ying's face, his body suddenly leaned back, and his palms shot forward with lightning speed
!
Two sharp "crack" sounds rang out, and the two dough figures let out two screams, spitting blood as
they fell backward.
Lei Ying's two palms knocked down the two dough figures. He then thrust the torch forward, the torch still aimed at Lei
Ying's face. Lei Ying flipped his hand, grabbed the man's wrist, and kicked him. With a "thud," his kick
struck the dough figure squarely in the chest.
The dough figure let out a heart-wrenching scream and fell backward.
However, as Lei Ying kicked him, he grabbed his wrist. Lei Ying's kick was
incredibly powerful; the man's body immediately fell backward, and one arm was
forcibly torn off at the shoulder. Lei Ying held the severed arm, blood pouring down like rain. In that severed hand, a torch was still clutched.
In the firelight, Zhou Jian could clearly see that Lei Ying's face had been burned twice,
leaving it charred beyond recognition! At that moment, Zhou Jian felt his legs go weak. Although he had killed
many people, this was the first time he had ever seen anything like it!
The old man on the deck suddenly let out a strange cry, his arms jerking, and
he leaped up, reaching the embankment in the blink of an eye.
At that moment, Lei Ying had already thrown away his severed arm, and he shouted in an extremely unpleasant voice:
"Fine, fine, you dare to pull the plank after crossing the bridge!" The old man landed on the embankment and coldly said, "Lei Ying,
with Zhu Wu dead, how can the martial world let this go? We can't let you have any leverage over us!"
Only then did Zhou Jian suddenly realize. What time was it? Lei Ying was already seriously injured. If he wasn't
a match for that old man, could he escape after Lei Ying died?
His movements were incredibly agile; thinking of this, he immediately took a step back, and he was already standing on the embankment!
At this moment, if he took just one more step back, he could slide down the slope of the embankment and fall
into the river!
But, in that instant, he changed his mind!
He wondered, what if Lei Ying won?
If Lei Ying defeated the old man, then he could take the opportunity to attack Lei Ying, and even
force him to reveal where he hid his gold and silver treasures!
At this thought, Zhou Jian's heart pounded wildly, his feet seemingly rooted to the spot, refusing to move
an inch!
Just as Zhou Jian's thoughts were racing, Lei Ying and the old man clashed. Lei Ying lunged forward, his palms
whistling, and before they even struck the old man, the incredibly powerful palm wind swept
away the old man's black face mask with a "whoosh." Only then did Zhou Jian see that the old man was unusually thin, his skin ashen, his body tall and hunched, his appearance quite peculiar.
In a flash, two sharp claps rang out as the two men's palms clashed. The old man
was sent staggering backward, taking three steps. Each step left a deep footprint in the ground, almost
the size of a small bowl, sending clumps of mud flying. One clump hit Zhou Jian, making
him feel as if he'd been punched.
Lei Ying, after the clash of their palms, merely swayed slightly before letting out another roar and
lunging at the old man again.
Zhou Jian, watching closely, saw blood seeping from the old man's mouth.
Lei Ying lunged forward again, creating a gust of wind. The old man let out a strange cry and
was sent flying. At that moment, Lei Ying could clearly see nothing, yet his movements remained incredibly fast. The
old man retreated hastily, inevitably creating a gust of wind. As Lei Ying chased after him, he lunged directly at the old man's body
. Their figures closed in a flash, and there were four more clashes of blows.
Then, their figures moved swiftly on the embankment, leaping and bounding, dazzling Zhou Jian.
By this time, Zhou Jian had completely regained his composure!
He took a few quick steps forward, reaching the two men. He was struck by Lei Ying's palms and fell unconscious to the ground beside
the two dough figurines. He bent down and drew an extremely sharp short knife from one of their hands
.
He turned around. Lei Ying and the old man were still locked in fierce combat. The old man let out a series of strange cries, while Lei Ying,
agile and seemingly gaining the upper hand.
Zhou Jian approached the box, closed the lid, and moved it about ten feet away.
Just then, he suddenly heard a "plop" sound. He immediately looked up and saw the old man
's body fly straight into the air, spitting out a fountain of blood. Lei Ying was also lying on the embankment,
panting heavily.
The old man's body struggled in mid-air, finally falling into the river with a "plop,"
and soon disappeared from sight!
Zhou Jian held his breath, remaining silent. Lei Ying's plump body swayed as he struggled forward two
steps, saying, "Zhou Jian, are you there?"
Zhou Jian thought for a moment before replying, "I'm here!"
Upon hearing Zhou Jian's voice, Lei Ying gasped for breath, asking, "Where's the box of jewels?"
Zhou Jian saw Lei Ying raise his head. His face was still a charred mess; aside from the way his hands moved when he spoke,
his features were completely unrecognizable.
Despite his severe burns, his first question was about the box of jewels,
which sounded utterly comical to Zhou Jian, almost making him burst out laughing.
But Zhou Jian didn't laugh. He simply said, "It's still there!"
As he spoke, he took a few steps forward, simultaneously pointing the tip of his short knife at Lei Ying.
He was testing whether Lei Ying was truly unable to see anything.
Upon hearing that the jewels were still there, Lei Ying, panting, said, "I still fell for their trap, but..."
"None of the four of us got anything out of it, did we?"
As Lei Ying spoke, Zhou Jian took a few more steps forward. He dared not get any closer,
stopping two or three feet in front of Lei Ying, still holding the tip of his knife forward. Lei Ying continued, "This box of jewels is no small matter. You... quickly
help me onto the boat, with the jewels!"
Zhou Jian slowly took a breath and then said, "Uncle Lei, you are blind, and I don't know how to sell jewels
..."
Lei Ying spat and said, "Why are you talking so much nonsense? I have a bank in Datong, and the bank's vaults
are full of inexhaustible gold and silver. Why would I need to sell jewels to make a living?"
Zhou Jian took another step forward. At this moment, the tip of the short knife in his hand was only an inch away from Lei Ying's throat
, but Lei Ying still didn't notice at all.
Zhou Jian suddenly said, "Master Lei, do you still remember that I was determined to kill you?"
Just as Zhou Jian finished speaking, Lei Ying abruptly raised his hand. Zhou Jian was startled, and suddenly,
the short knife in his hand shot forward, plunging into Lei Ying's throat with a "whoosh!"
The knife Zhou Jian thrust in pierced Lei Ying's vital point, producing a
strange "clunk" sound in Lei Ying's throat.
However, in that instant, Zhou Jian felt something touch his chest.
Before he could pull out the knife, Zhou Jian quickly looked down and saw that Lei Ying's right hand was, at some point
, pressed tightly against his heart!
Zhou Jian was utterly shocked. He cried out, "You..." He only managed to utter one word
before a mouthful of blood gushed out like water!
Zhou Jian was completely ignorant of martial arts. He didn't know that Lei Ying, in his dying moments, had struck him in the chest, severing
his meridians. He was definitely not going to survive. He was still thinking, "It's alright, I'm not seriously injured. I
can still get up.
" However, just as he thought that, his vision began to blur. Before him, Lei Ying's
mouth opened wide, seemingly expanding, expanding, until it became an enormous, blood-red hole, from which
he spun.
Before Zhou Jian's eyes was a sea of blood. In that blood-red, he seemed to see the hay he slept on as a horseman
, and the many beautiful girls' fair and translucent bodies in the Jade Fragrance Courtyard. He seemed to hear Zhu
Xiaohong's moans.
He seemed to see more and more things, increasingly chaotic, everything spinning: lying
bodies, fluttering silver notes, all sorts of jewels. He also saw Lei Ying's fat face, the gleaming blade, and Zhu Wu 's strange expression after
being stabbed in the abdomen . He also saw the snow-white, beautiful woman's glistening breasts, her jade-like feet reflecting the light of her skin... All these images were rapidly expanding, and Zhou Jian's breathing gradually weakened... (The End)
