Zhou Yuanzong raped a woman in broad daylight; the evidence was irrefutable, and he must be punished.
The fact that the wealthy Wang blocked the sedan chair to lodge a complaint showed the depth of his victimhood, and public opinion was entirely on his side. The presiding judge
would inevitably face pressure from public opinion demanding a severe sentence for Zhou Yuanzong.
