【Immortal Destiny】(Part 2, Chapter 62)

Chapter 62 The Chaos of the Demonic Cultivators

On the other side, Fei Xianghan strode towards Chen Hai'an, the leader of the Nanshan Sect, and coldly laughed, "The leader

is truly enjoying himself. It's a pity that you old man Ziyang achieved your Nascent Soul through improper means, yet

you have the nerve to come and celebrate so lavishly!" Chen Hai'an angrily retorted, "Fei Xianghan, don't spout nonsense and ruin the reputation of my Nanshan Sect!"

Fei Xianghan said no more, and with a wave of his hand, thousands of ice pillars flew towards Chen Hai'an. However, Chen Hai'an, as

the first , was no pushover. With a flick of his long sleeves, several-foot-tall trees were uprooted and

surrounded Chen Hai'an, blocking Fei Xianghan's attack. The two exchanged blows, and the outcome was difficult to determine for the time being.

Even amidst his battle, Mo Qingzi managed to divert his divine sense to search for Cen Zhu. He secretly instructed Liu Ruyue to stay by Cen

Zhu's side and protect her. He understood Cen Zhu and knew she was unwilling to engage in sexual relations with the three of them. He feared she

might use this opportunity to leave the sect, so he ordered Liu Ruyue to stay with Cen Zhu to keep her in check.

Upon receiving the order, Liu Ruyue scanned the area with her divine sense and saw Cen Zhu hiding behind the main hall's gate. As she prepared to approach, she saw Cen Zhu

activate an earth-遁 (earth-遁 is a type of talisman, meaning to

escape or flee) and leave. She couldn't believe that Cen Zhu would abandon the sect's safety during the battle. She was both disappointed and heartbroken; their relationship had always been quite good, and now she had betrayed the sect out of fear of death.

Mo Qingzi, having detected Cen Zhu's escape during the battle, was instantly consumed by rage. His refined face lost its gentle

smile; his expression became stern and terrifying. He unleashed a torrent of flames, channeling all his dissatisfaction and anger

towards the demonic cultivator before him.

Several black-clad cultivators were utterly powerless against the Nascent Soul Dao Lord's rage. They struggled desperately, yet still

met their end under Mo Qingzi's deadly attacks. Even in their dying moments, they couldn't comprehend how the once refined Dao Lord had

transformed into a deadly demon in a mere instant.

The battle at the Nanshan Sect continued, with wave after wave of black-clad cultivators surrounding them. Mo Qingzi

was anxious, but the battle was far from over, and he had no chance to find Cen Zhu. The longer the battle dragged on, the more frustrated he became, and the less merciful he became in his

attacks .

Cen Zhu looked around. They were in a deserted forest.

Cen Zhu recalled the earlier scene: Liu Ruyue had hidden in the South Sea Sect cultivators' sanctuary behind the main hall,

seemingly safe; and the Thousand Leaf Sect's Core Formation cultivators were not involved in the melee, presumably

taken there by their sect elders. There were approximately eight Nascent Soul Daoists participating in the Nascent Soul Formation Ceremony of Daoist Ziyang of the Nanshan Sect. Adding

the four Nascent Soul cultivators from the Nanshan Sect, there were a total of twelve. Judging from the current battle situation, the Nascent Soul Daoists of the Heavenly Sword Sect should be

safe . Therefore, while everyone was engaged in fierce fighting, Cen Zhu hid in the shadows and activated her Earth Escape Talisman. She channeled her spiritual energy

into the talisman, escaping a thousand miles underground to a forest.

The Thousand-Mile Earth Escape Talisman could teleport a thousand miles, but it was random. Therefore, she didn't know where she was.

She carefully held the Flying Star Sword in her hand and chanted incantations to make a spiritual pearl circulate around her, ready to defend herself at any time.

She cautiously found a high patch of grass in the forest, changed into the secular clothes she had already placed in her Qiankun bag,

and took out a small mirror to carefully modify her face with charcoal.

The person in the mirror had thick, dark eyebrows, many spots on her face, and a birthmark on her forehead, making her look

ugly, someone no one wanted to look at a second time.

She nodded in satisfaction, her little face beaming with joy. Her successful escape was a stroke of luck. Although she

was reluctant to Liu Ruyue, Chu Tianyun, and Huo Qingsi, she didn't want to be "

eaten" by her master and senior uncle every now and then. She felt apologetic towards the three, but opportunities to leave were rare and unpredictable; she believed they would

meet again someday.

Looking around at the towering trees, Cen Zhu scanned them with her divine sense. Aside from some birds and rabbits, there were no

demonic beasts. She increased her speed slightly, hoping to leave the forest as soon as possible. Although this place was

a thousand miles from the Nanshan Sect, if Mo Qingzi, a Nascent Soul cultivator, caught up at full speed, it would only take half a day.

After wandering blindly through the forest for an hour, Cen Zhu vaguely sensed something was wrong.

She remembered passing this tree with its grayish-brown bark and lightly serrated leaf edges before; how could it

still be there? Had she mistakenly entered a maze?

This was bad news. She knew absolutely nothing about formations. As she pondered whether to risk flying into the sky on her sword

, a man's voice echoed in her mind: "Please help me, Master."

Cen Zhu immediately summoned her spirit pearl to form a large defensive net around her, gripped the

Flying looked around, asking, "Who's there?"

"Master, take ten steps forward, then two steps back, then twenty steps to the left, and you will see me."

The man's voice rang in Cen Zhu's ears again.

Was this person friend or foe? Cen Zhu wondered, so she didn't make any move. She probed with her divine sense, but

found nothing.

"Master, please trust me. If you don't follow my instructions, you won't be able to get out of this forest."

The man's voice became anxious.
