The Diablo series consists of three parts.

I strode down the dark, damp corridor. The stench of 　　　　　　　　　　　　decay assaulted my nostrils, making me wince. In my entire fighting history, though I'd faced environments a hundred times worse, this wicked smell was always unpleasant.

The narrow corridor turned a corner a short distance ahead, and my warrior's instincts told me danger lurked around that corner. I gripped my battle axe tightly, a surge of excitement rising within me. From birth, combat had been a part of my life. My
name is Chaos, and I am a barbarian.

Finally, I reached the corner. The sense of danger grew stronger; I could even smell the stench emanating from Dark Rogue. Taking a deep breath, my blood surged, and I charged forward.

"Clang..."

My left-hand shield easily blocked a spear thrust. The Dark Rogue wielding the spear was jolted back by the force, while the other three Dark Rogues quickly formed an attack formation, their three spears thrusting at me from three tricky angles.

I laughed loudly, lunging forward and narrowly dodging the spears thrusting from both sides. With a swift upward swing of my right-hand battle axe, I parried the spear in front of me, then swung it forward with tremendous force, "Thud!" cleaving the Dark Rogue in two.

Two bloody halves of his body separated before my eyes, and the Dark Rogue I had just knocked back charged at me again, spear in hand.

I whirled around. The two Dark Rogues behind me were hastily retracting their spears, preparing for a second attack. Of course, I wouldn't give them that chance. My giant axe whistled as it slashed out in a wide arc from right to left.

With two strange "crack, crack" sounds, the heavy, sharp axe blade seemed to sweep effortlessly across the bodies of the two Dark Rogues, cleaving them in two. At the same time, a sharp pain shot through my lower back. I quickly spun around, the sharp tip of my spear grazing my waist, bringing a sharp sting.

In the blink of an eye, I was facing the Dark Rogue again, but this time I was inches away from it, and its spear posed no threat to me. Looking at the bewildered expression on its bloodied face, I grinned at it, and my left hand slammed the shield down mercilessly on the ugly face before me.

A muffled thud, faintly...
