Gods and Ghosts Eighteen Prostitutes

[Chapter 1] Ten Years of Avoiding Disaster, Failure to Find a Way Out

Prologue:

In the sixth year of the Kangxi Emperor's reign, after more than twenty years of diligent governance, Aisin-Gioro Xuan Ye was

hailed by his subjects as the "Kangxi Prosperity."

A series of initiatives, including "stopping land enclosure," "relaxing land reclamation," and "repairing waterways," brought the

Qing to life, creating a situation where everything needed rebuilding. In the thirteenth and sixteenth years of Kangxi's reign, the competition for the crown prince was temporarily suppressed

after both his appointments were rejected . However, the competition among the princes never ceased and intensified . Zhang Yushan, the Governor-General of Jiangnan, was a confidant of the fourth prince, Aisin-Gioro Yinzhen. However, because of his close relationship with the fourth prince, he was executed along with his entire family by the eighth prince, Prince Lian, and the ninth prince. His wife, Xu Meiniang, and their seven-year-old son, Zhang Yunfeng, escaped the massacre while traveling, disappearing without a trace. The struggle for the throne intensified, with the fourth and eighth princes, along with other princes, joining the fray and resorting to bribery of martial arts figures to serve them. The most feared group at the time was the elusive "Eighteen Riders of Gods and Ghosts," whose true purpose was unknown, only that countless lives had been lost at their hands. What became of Zhang Yunfeng, the son of Zhang Yushan, and his mother, who were unjustly killed? What would become of the political infighting ? All will be revealed in the following text. Spring turned to autumn, and another year passed. Cuiyun Mountain remained as breathtaking as ever, its towering peaks surrounding it, with white clouds drifting in the sky. The birdsong and fragrant flowers made "Ghost Valley" appear even more beautiful! Ghost Valley? Yes, this was Ghost Valley. But it wasn't the Ghost Valley feared by the martial arts world, because only two people lived there, and they were ordinary people. But what was the meaning behind the name "Ghost Valley"? The scenery is breathtaking, a place that should have captivated travelers, but the name itself somewhat spoils the atmosphere, casting a shadow of dread over this picturesque landscape! Since a stone tablet inscribed with the words "Ghost Valley" appeared at the valley's entrance ten years ago, the number of people here has dwindled. Aside from birds and beasts, few outsiders are seen. Initially, many martial arts practitioners came to investigate, but ultimately returned empty-handed. As time passed, the name Ghost Valley grew more and more renowned, yet no one came to see it. Perhaps those who returned learned that the valley contained nothing, thus abandoning their plans. Tourists who do come, though attracted by the beauty before them, are invariably chilled by the name "Ghost Valley," thus deterring them from entering. The timid stay far away, while the bolder approach slightly, but are still frightened away by the two characters on the stone tablet. Only those skilled in martial arts dared to enter the valley, but none found anything and returned empty-handed, just like the former. Fewer and fewer people entered, which seemed to suit the wishes of whoever named the valley. The valley was lush with flowers and plants, some of which, though unknown, bloomed particularly vibrantly. Under the blue sky, birds flitted about, while butterflies and small insects busied themselves among the flowers and plants. As the sun set, it draped the entire valley in a golden cloak, making Ghost Valley appear like a fairyland. In the center of the valley lay a lake, not too large. With the leaping fish and the twilight light , the once calm surface rippled, reflecting dazzling golden rays. At the southernmost formed a beautiful landscape. The rock was clearly naturally formed, like a bed, just big enough for one person to lie down on. Lying on this rock, one could admire the azure sky and watch the birds soaring freely. Watching the calm lake ripple with the leaping fish, shaded by the willow trees, what an idyllic scene it was! Unfortunately, lying on the rock wasn't a person, but a rather elderly gorilla. The gorilla scratched its head, glanced at the sky, turned, grabbed the weeping willow with both paws, and shook it violently. At the same time, a cry of "Ah!" rang out, and a figure fell from the tree, but didn't hit the rock; instead, it was caught by the gorilla. This showed the gorilla's immense strength ; it was clearly no ordinary gorilla. "What are you doing? Don't you know I'm sleeping?" The boy who fell from the tree broke free from the gorilla's embrace . He was handsome as a man, with a figure like a beautiful woman; it was hard to tell he was male. The gorilla seemed to understand what the boy was saying, pointing to the sky and then to the valley floor. Seeing the gorilla's actions, the boy chuckled and said, "Big Yellow, you're really strict!" It turned out the gorilla was named Big Yellow, probably because its fur had turned yellow with age. Hearing the boy's words, the gorilla scratched the back of its head and then grinned widely. "Hmm, it's time to go home. Otherwise, Mother will definitely worry again!" With that, it patted the gorilla's head, waved goodbye, and headed towards the valley floor. The gorilla waved back to the boy and then walked alone into the forest in the valley. The valley floor was a sheer cliff, as if cut by a knife; no wonder those who came here hadn't found anything special and turned back empty-handed. The boy reached the bottom of the valley, walked to an exceptionally lush tree, and leaped onto it. At the third branch beside it, he pulled up a protruding piece of the trunk, then pressed it down, revealing a raised area shaped like the Chinese character "有" (yǒu), connected to the tree trunk. The young man looked around and, finding nothing amiss, grabbed the protrusion and twisted . As soon as he finished twisting, a hole, about the size of a person, appeared at a branch of the tree trunk . The young man leaped into the hole, and then the opening slowly closed automatically again. It's unlikely that anyone who comes here would suspect a secret passage hidden within the tree; therefore, martial arts practitioners who see the cliff face, find nothing amiss, and then turn and leave.

Just after jumping into the cave, two masked men appeared in a tree on the other side. One of them, a

man wearing a square hat and speaking with a rough accent, said, "I just saw him! How did he disappear in the blink of an eye? It seems

there's more to this place than meets the eye!"

"Yeah! I clearly saw him walk to that tree, and then he was gone in the blink of an eye. Don't you think

there a ghost, sister?" the other man said.

"Slap!" The one called "sister" slapped the other man, saying, "Didn't I tell you? You're not allowed to call me '

sister' outside!"

"I...I forgot!" the other girl said, sounding a little aggrieved.

"By the way, Xiaoling, you mentioned that tree earlier. I guess the mystery is in that tree. Let's go take a look.

If it really is a descendant of Lord Zhang, even if we're soft-hearted, we have to silence them and get

our hands on the 'Five Heavens Jade Pendant.' Otherwise, how can we survive in the martial world?"

"Yeah, that's right. Besides, who are we? We are...!" Before she could finish speaking,

the sister" slapped her again and leaped towards the mysterious tree.

The cave was pitch black, so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face, but the boy was exceptionally familiar with the place.

He paid no attention to his surroundings and continued walking along the tunnel beneath the tree.

After many twists and turns, it finally brightened. Emerging from the narrow tunnel, he found himself in a

wide, brightly lit stone cave. Six luminous pearls, each the size of a goose egg, were embedded in the ceiling, illuminating the cave as if

it were daytime.

These pearls, considered treasures by most, seemed worthless to the boy. He didn't even glance at

them. Instead, he went to the eastern wall and turned a slightly protruding stone to the left

, revealing a door over two feet thick. It

felt as heavy as a thousand pounds, yet in the boy's hands, it was as light as a feather. As he opened the door, the boy called out, "Mother, your son is back!" A few seconds later, a voice came from deeper within, "Wait...wait, come in again!" The voice held a hint of panic, as if afraid of being discovered . The boy already understood what had happened, thinking to himself, "Taking a bath?" Ever since he accidentally discovered his mother bathing, he couldn't understand why her body was different from his own. Yet, his mother's alluring figure lingered in his mind. A moment later, a woman of about 35 years old emerged from the depths, her hair still wet, indicating she had just finished bathing and wasn't completely dry. "Feng'er, what have you been doing today?" the woman asked. "Practicing martial arts!" the boy replied absentmindedly. Seeing her son's distracted state, Mei Niang couldn't help but feel a little angry. She knew her son didn't want to stay there, but now there was no way to leave. "Feng'er, just bear with it for another year. We'll go out in a year. After all, your kung fu is still very weak, and you can't compete with others at all!" "Mother, I understand what you mean, but you never tell me about Father, which I find very puzzling!" After listening to Feng'er's words, Meiniang thought for a moment and then said, "Come here, Feng'er, let me tell you a story!" The boy lost his father when he was very young, and his father's image was just a . Ever since he became aware of things, he had been pestering his mother to ask, but his mother always refused to tell him, always saying that he would know in the future. In fact, he had already guessed in his heart that his father must be dead, but he didn't know what had happened. When his mother said she was going to tell him a story, he knew that his mother was going to tell about his father, so he quickly went to sit down next to his mother. Xu Meiniang held her son in her arms, stroked his head, and said, "About ten years ago, in Jiangnan there was a…!" As her mother finished speaking, Meiniang and Yunfeng embraced and wept bitterly. Yunfeng had already learned from his mother's words that he was the son of Zhang Yushan, who had been unjustly implicated in a power struggle and executed. His mother's eyes were already brimming with tears as she recounted the story. Seeing this, Yunfeng hugged his sobs, and said, "Mother, don't worry, I will definitely practice my martial arts diligently this year. I will definitely avenge Father!" Hearing her son's words, Meiniang felt a surge of relief and hugged him tightly to her chest . When he learned that his father had been executed because of a power struggle, Yunfeng secretly made a decision: only he could avenge his father. When his mother held her head to her chest, with her panting after crying, the soft flesh of her breasts rubbed against Yunfeng's face, feeling incredibly comforting. For some reason, Yunfeng felt a sensation he had never experienced before. He felt a strange comfort as his mother's soft flesh rubbed against him, and unconsciously rubbed his face against her chest. Mei Niang initially thought her son was being disrespectful, but then realized he was doing it intentionally. A wave of unease washed over her, and a long-forgotten feeling surged within her. Feeling ashamed of her reaction, Mei Niang blushed and pushed Yunfeng 's head away from her chest. "Alright, Mother's going to cook. You go meditate for a bit. I'll give you some pointers later and see how you've improved!" With that, Mei Niang got up and walked towards a stone chamber. When his face left his mother's chest, Yunfeng felt a pang of disappointment, but was also surprised by his own actions. After seeing his mother go to cook, he went into his stone chamber, took out two swords, placed them beside him, and began to meditate, but he couldn't calm down for a long time. Thinking about his father's unjust death and what had just happened, Yunfeng's mind was in turmoil. Having finally calmed down, I heard a strange noise. My eyes snapped open, and I instinctively reached for the sword beside me. Listening more carefully, I realized the sound of footsteps was coming from the cave entrance. Startled, I rushed to the kitchen and said to my mother, "Mother, someone's come in!"

Upon hearing this, Mei Niang was startled. She put down what she was holding, took the sword from Yun Feng, and stepped out of

the stone chamber.

"Haha, there really are people here!" The aged voice rang out again.

As soon as Mei Niang and her son stepped out of the stone chamber, they saw two masked men in black standing at the cave entrance. One of them

laughed wildly. From the voice, one could tell that this man was very confident and had profound inner strength. He was a rare master of internal martial arts, and Mei Niang

couldn't help but feel worried.

"Who are you?" Yun Feng was just a greenhorn.

"Hmph!" One of them snorted coldly.

"Who we are is not important. What is important is that Madam Xu hand over Lord Zhang's 'Five Heavens Jade Pendant.'

If we see that Lord Zhang was also unjustly killed, we can spare you and your son!"

"So you are my father's killers! I will kill you to avenge my father!" Upon hearing their

words, Yun Feng was enraged. He withdrew his sword, and a white light shot into the sky as he attacked them with the 'Howling of the Evil Ghost'

.

"Watch out!" The leader shoved the other man aside and darted to the side, then drew

a soft sword from his waist.

"Be careful, his sword is a treasure! And his skill is not weak!" the leader warned the other man.

"Don't worry, I don't even consider him a threat!" the man replied.

This infuriated Yunfeng. He turned and

unleashed a "Ten Thousand Ghosts Pounce" attack, a barrage of sword light enveloping the man. Only then did the man take it seriously and also drew a gleaming

soft sword from his waist.

Xu Meiniang was shocked when she saw that the two masked men had come for the "Five Heavens Jade Pendant." She

hadn't expected that even after ten years of fleeing, she hadn't escaped. Moreover, she and her son Yunfeng had come to this cave under the guidance of a dying old man

and had remained undiscovered for over ten years until now. It seemed that hiding

was not a solution.

Furthermore, both men were wielding soft swords, indicating they were both highly skilled masters with profound inner strength. These

were formidable opponents! This is a perfect opportunity to see just how effective the "True Secrets of Heavenly Ghosts" technique from the stone cave really is!

Over there, her son Yunfeng and that man were already locked in combat. Amidst the flashing blades, their movements

grew increasingly rapid. Even Mei Niang, standing nearby, could feel the chill emanating from their swords.

"Madam Xu, we're not here to take your lives. We only wish to hand over the 'Five Heavens Jade Pendant,' and

then we'll withdraw!" the leader said, approaching Mei Niang.

"Ask my sword first!" Mei Niang replied, casually drawing her sword and unleashing

a chilling aura towards the leader.

The leader was greatly alarmed. He hadn't expected Madam Xu, who was said to know nothing of martial arts, to be able to wield

such sharp move, and the sword energy emanating from her blade was so immense.

The leader dared not be careless, extending his hand in a move called "Ten Thousand Generals' Endless Enemy," meeting the attack with his soft sword, which

then coiled around Mei Niang's sword, aiming directly for her tiger's mouth. Mei Niang was equally shocked, not expecting the martial arts manual in the cave

to be ineffective.

Instinctively, she flicked her wrist, channeling internal energy into her sword, dislodging the soft blade binding it

and unleashing a sword aura from its tip towards the man's chest.

The man was far more surprised than Mei Niang; he hadn't anticipated that she could so easily break

free of his attack and counterattack.

The two exchanged blows, locked in combat. Neither Mei Niang nor Yun Feng had ever experienced real combat; they usually only practiced sparring

. This was a life-or-death situation, forcing them to unleash their full potential.

After a while, they relaxed, managing a more balanced

offense . The two seemed to have no intention of killing, so the men fought cautiously. However

, the masked leader, finding it increasingly difficult to subdue his opponent, roared, changing his swordplay.

A deadly sword aura emanated from his soft blade.

Upon hearing the roar, the other man understood the meaning and, with a change in sword stance, launched a frenzied attack.

At this moment, Mei Niang and Yun Feng seemed to be struggling to defend themselves.

After a while, Mei Niang, caught off guard, was slashed on her right arm by the leader's soft sword and staggered back from

the battle. Yun Feng, who had been watching his mother's situation closely, panicked upon seeing her injured and his

left arm was also slashed by the opponent's soft sword.

"Mother, are you alright?" Yun Feng withdrew his sword and went to Mei Niang's side to ask. Fortunately, the two men didn't pursue

them.

"I'm fine!" Mei Niang felt a pang of heartache upon seeing her son injured.

"Madam Xu, as long as you hand over the 'Five Heavens Jade Pendant,' we two will certainly not make things difficult for you and your son!"

the leader said.

"Impossible!" Mei Niang and Yun Feng said simultaneously.

"Then don't blame us!" The leader gave Yun Feng a strange look, then

turned gave a wink to the man beside him before they both pounced on him.

Just as things were about to turn around, two flashes of cold light shot towards the two men. Hearing the sound of hidden weapons behind them,

they were startled, not expecting there to be a master here

. To avoid injury, they dodged the weapons coming from behind.

At that moment, Yunfeng saw that the two hidden weapons had come from Big Yellow!

"Big Yellow!" Yunfeng blurted out.

The two masked men turned around hastily, only to be shocked by what they saw. They never

imagined that the two powerful hidden weapons would have hit a gorilla.

Big Yellow nimbly bypassed them, reached Meiniang and her son, grabbed them, and ran into the cave.

Yunfeng knew Big Yellow's strength, but Meiniang had never known that her son was so

familiar with a gorilla, and that this gorilla was actually their savior.

The two masked men, enraged at being tricked by a gorilla, roared and gave chase

. Neither Meiniang nor her son would have expected that Dahuang was so familiar with the cave, even more so than they were

. Dahuang carried the two of them without any apparent effort, running swiftly into the cave.

In the blink of an eye, they reached the bottom. After setting Meiniang and her son down, Dahuang leaped onto the cave ceiling, pressed down on a rock above

, and a new stone door opened in the cave wall at the bottom.

Faced with this situation, both Mei Niang and her son were extremely surprised, wondering, "We've

lived for ten years and never discovered there was a hidden chamber. How did this gorilla know?"

Seeing the stone door open, Da Huang seemed to point inside, indicating that they should go in.

The voices of the two masked men could be heard behind them. Yun Feng and Mei Niang didn't hesitate and quickly entered the stone chamber. As soon as they entered,

the door slowly closed. Just before it closed, a roar could be heard outside, but

they didn't know what had happened.

"Please, don't let anything happen!" Yun Feng prayed to Da Huang.

In the instant the stone door closed, a bundle was thrown in from outside. Mei Niang picked it up and saw it was something she

had kept hidden away. She couldn't understand how the gorilla had found it so quickly and even brought it

in.

As the stone gate slammed to the ground, a loud yelp came from outside. Yunfeng

shouted , "Dahuang!"

(Author's note: The story won't jump straight into explicit scenes. There will be some chaotic moments, but

the main focus is on Zhang Yunfeng's revenge, entering the palace and his

affairs with Kangxi's twenty-one wives and eight daughters. He seeks women to satisfy his desires amidst the power struggles with the Fourth Prince and other princes, using this to avenge

his father.

The "Eighteen Riders of Gods and Demons" are merely weapons in the princes' power struggles; their identities

will be revealed later. Of course, those who have read the first chapter already know they are all women.

How could women escape Zhang Yunfeng's grasp? Haha, let me tell you the details.)

A big thank you to Shi Wuxin for the revisions and support. I'm digging holes everywhere, which seems a bit off,

but I promise it won't be delayed. Updates will be slow, so please continue to support

Chapter Two: A Narrow Escape, A Blessing in Disguise

With a final screech from Da Huang, the stone door slammed to the ground, silencing

all sounds from outside. Yun Feng frantically pounded on the door, calling Da Huang's name repeatedly, his eyes brimming with

tears. His grief blinded him to the blood streaming down his injured right arm.

The pain in his hand didn't stop him; instead, it intensified his suffering. Although Da Huang was

an animal, it was Yun Feng's closest companion since childhood. To someone as inexperienced as

Yun Feng , Da Huang was like a brother. And for him, Da Huang had…

Xu Meiniang, of course, knew the pain in her son Yun Feng's heart, a pain akin to the loss of her own husband.

Watching Yun Feng's hand pound on the door, the wound on his arm reopening and

bleeding profusely. Mei Niang, her heart aching, pulled her son close, saying, "Feng'er, don't be like this. Quickly bandage it up.

Da Huang 's kung fu is so good, he'll be fine!"

Hearing his mother's words, Yun Feng seemed to calm down a little. His chest

was still heaving from worry and crying. Yun Feng raised his arm to wipe his tear-filled eyes with his sleeve, then looked up at

Mei Niang and asked, "Mother, are you really alright?"

"Don't worry, when have I ever lied to Feng'er?" Mei Niang reassured him while bandaging his wound.

"But, I clearly heard Da Huang...!" Yun Feng didn't finish his sentence, his tears

preventing him from speaking.

"Feng'er, listen to your mother, Da Huang will be fine. Didn't you see when it saved us? Its

kung fu is even better than ours! Don't worry, everything will be alright!"

Mei Niang comforted her son, but she was very puzzled. She and her son had

been here for ten years to escape pursuit, and they should be very familiar with this place. Why was there

a hidden room , and why was there even one inside? But how did Da Huang know all this?

Not only very familiar with this place, but it also possesses martial arts skills that surpass even ordinary masters. What's going

on? Could Da Huang be a spirit animal adopted by that old man? Or…?

"Mother, I believe Da Huang will be alright!" It wasn't until Yun Feng's voice rang out that Mei Niang's thoughts were pulled

back. "Mother, you're injured too, and you've bled a lot!" Yun Feng felt a warm glow in his heart

seeing his mother disregard her own injuries to take care of him. "It's alright, Mother will bandage herself in a bit!" Mei Niang gently tightened the last knot of the bandage on Yun Feng's wound . "Mother, let me do it, let me help you!" Seeing his mother's snow-white coat stained red , Yun Feng felt a pang of guilt, as if he, as her son, hadn't protected her properly. When Yunfeng tore open the clothes covering his mother's wound, he found a sword wound that wasn't too deep. The blood wasn't flowing as much as before. Yunfeng opened his coat, tore a strip of cloth from his undershirt , cleaned around Meiniang's wound, and bandaged it. Meiniang felt a warmth in her heart as she watched Yunfeng's actions, thinking to herself, "Feng'er, you've finally grown up ! You know how to take care of your mother! Do you know how much your mother has endured these past years? To avenge her father, your mother made you stay here with her for ten years. Your mother was so strict with you because she hoped you would make something of yourself and avenge your father. Now you've finally grown up; it seems your mother will have to take care of her from now on!" "Mother, why are you crying? Does it hurt a lot?" After bandaging his mother, Yunfeng looked up and saw tears welling in her eyes, thinking she was in a lot of pain. "No, it doesn't hurt, Mother doesn't hurt!" Seeing her child's concern, Mei Niang's tears streamed down her face . She couldn't help but hug Yunfeng to her chest, saying, "Mother doesn't hurt at all, Mother is happy! Mother is happy that our Feng'er has grown up and knows how to take care of Mother, Mother is so happy!" When Mei Niang hugged Yunfeng to her chest, Yunfeng was initially still focused on his mother's happiness, happy because of his mother's happiness. But after a while, he remembered the scene before the masked man came in, and that tender feeling immediately welled up. For a long time, Yunfeng had developed a strong curiosity about his mother, perhaps because he had never been able to touch her since he could remember.

Others, out of curiosity, had long secretly observed the differences between their mothers and themselves.

However, perhaps knowing deep down it was wrong, they kept their curiosity buried.

Adolescence always involves a period of profound change in thinking. Just now, Yunfeng had

noticed that when he leaned against his mother's chest, the two soft, unknown mounds rubbing against his face,

his heart would inexplicably race, producing a strange pleasure.

When his mother left, a sense of loss followed. So when his mother, Meiniang, embraced

him , Yunfeng's heart began to race, his mind went blank,

and he unconsciously reached around Meiniang's sides, tightly hugging his mother.

Yunfeng's actions didn't make Meiniang think much of it; she assumed her son was worried about her

injury . But soon, Meiniang realized things were not as simple as she imagined, because

Yunfeng's head kept rubbing against her chest.

A long-lost feeling made Mei Niang somewhat dazed. The tingling, exciting pleasure made her eyes blurry.

The image of Feng'er before her slowly transformed into Zhang Yushan, and the friction against her chest made Mei Niang unable to control herself

.

She blurted out a soft call, "Brother Yu!" Yun Feng, who was rubbing against his mother's chest, was still immersed in that soft, blissful feeling. When Mei Niang whispered

, Yun Feng seemed to hear his mother say something, but he didn't quite catch it.

He looked up from Mei Niang's chest and saw that his mother was staring blankly ahead, lost in thought.

Yun Feng saw this but didn't understand why his mother was like this. However, he didn't think too much about it and pressed his face

against Mei Niang's chest again.

After losing her voice, Mei Niang suddenly felt the friction against her chest increase. Looking down, she realized it was her own

son, Yun Feng? She quickly snapped out of her reverie, then pushed Yunfeng away from her chest, saying, "Feng'er,

rest for a bit. See if there are any secret passages or anything like that here. I'll go check ahead to see if there's a

way out !" She stood up and straightened her clothes.

Yunfeng felt a pang of disappointment when his mother, Meiniang, pushed him away, but when he looked at her, he noticed

a few stray strands of hair falling from her temples, which, combined with her fair and rosy face, made her look incredibly charming.

Having never seen anyone else before, Yunfeng felt his mother was as beautiful as a fairy, causing his heart

to flutter. He blurted out, "Mother, you're so beautiful!"

Mei Niang, having finished tidying herself up, was about to venture into the secret chamber to see if there was a way out when she heard

her son say this. Turning around, she saw a familiar look in Yunfeng's eyes, and

her heart skipped a beat. Her face flushed, and she said, "You rest for a bit. I'll go see if there's a way

out !"

"Mother, here, be careful!" Yunfeng tossed a sword to Mei Niang.

Mei Niang felt a surge of warmth in her heart. Seeing her son's concern for her, throwing her

a sword out of fear of danger, she was overjoyed. However, remembering the look in his eyes earlier, she became worried.

Catching the sword, Mei Niang nodded to Yunfeng and walked deeper into the secret chamber. Staring at his mother's retreating figure,

Yunfeng stood there blankly for a long time, lost in thought, until Mei Niang's figure completely disappeared from his sight

. He then

snapped out of his reverie, slapping his head and muttering, "What am I thinking about?"

The pain from his injury jolted him awake, and he noticed blood flowing from

his wounded arm again. Unable to bandage it himself, Yunfeng bit one end of the wound with his teeth and

pulled hard with his other hand, almost bringing tears to his eyes.

Seeing that the blood had stopped flowing, Yunfeng listened for a moment, but there was still no sound outside. He wondered how Da Huang

was who those two masked men were,

and how they knew the "Five Heavens Jade Pendant" was in his mother's possession? What was the jade's purpose?

These questions lingered in Yunfeng's mind for a long time without resolution. He then began to grope around the stone door,

looking for any hidden buttons or similar mechanisms to open it, but after searching for a while,

he found nothing.

"I wonder how Mother is doing?" Yunfeng murmured.

Leaving Yunfeng aside, let's talk about Xu Meiniang. After hearing Yunfeng's words, Meiniang saw

another meaning in her son's eyes, which troubled her greatly. She knew she needed to find her son a companion!

Those words, those eyes, kept flashing through Meiniang's mind, causing her headache, her heart

to race, and her face to flush. Holding her sword, her mind wandered as she walked deeper into the secret chamber.

Only when she could no longer see clearly did Meiniang pull herself together

, draw her sword, and take out the tinder she had brought earlier. She blew on it twice, and

when , she noticed nothing unusual. However, the dampness underfoot and

the strange smell emanating from the depths of the cave made her very uncomfortable.

She cautiously moved forward when suddenly a bright light appeared ahead—a sword!

"How could there be a sword here?" Mei Niang's heart skipped a beat, and she tensed up, gripping her sword tightly,

ready to fight. She slowly moved forward.

As she approached, she noticed the light emanating from the sword remained stationary. Mei Niang

cautiously moved forward, her grip on the sword tightening, her heart pounding faster.

"Clatter!" Mei Niang was startled and quickly took two steps back, holding the sword horizontally in front of her chest. She found nothing

. Looking in the dim light, she realized she had been so focused on

the light from the sword that she hadn't noticed the pile of bones on the ground. In

the damp, dark cave, the sudden sight of bones startled Mei Niang. Finding nothing amiss , she continued towards the sword light. When she reached the source of the light, she found no one there, only a gleaming sword stuck in the ground. Mei Niang surveyed her surroundings, then confidently planted her own sword in the ground and reached for the gleaming hilt. "It's so heavy!" Mei Niang couldn't help but exclaim.

Mei Niang tried twice, but couldn't pull the sword out. Frustrated, she used her inner strength.

With a "whoosh!", the sword was finally pulled out with all her might. However,

due to the excessive force, Mei Niang staggered back several steps, and the torch in her other hand struck the damp wall

and went out.

Only then did Mei Niang understand her earlier doubts about why

the sword emitted such a dazzling light in the dark cave. It turned out that a thumb-sized pearl was embedded in a groove on the hilt

. Looking at the pearl, Mei Niang was somewhat surprised. She had many such luminous pearls in her stone chamber,

all priceless treasures, but none could compare to this one's brilliance.

With the torch extinguished, she used the light from the luminous pearl on the sword to pull out her own sword and continued forward, circling the

scattered .

She found nothing along the way, only two sets of skeletons, each surrounded by strange objects.

But Meiniang was focused on finding the exit; that was the most important thing, and she paid no attention to

the things on the ground. After walking a while longer, she suddenly saw light ahead. Reaching the door,

she found another door, a half-open stone door.

Reaching the door, Meiniang gripped the sword she had just obtained, listening carefully.

It was completely silent inside. Then, she stepped inside.

Entering the stone chamber, she found it furnished like her own, with

luminous pearls , but these pearls were much larger.

Looking around, she saw a skeleton lying on a stone bed, draped in a garment worn and tattered over countless years

. This skeleton must have been the owner of this chamber in life, but

whose skeletons were the three in the cave ahead?

The long-neglected stone chamber was covered in a thick layer of dust. Mei Niang looked around but found no

secret passage leading out. She decided to bid farewell to the skeleton and return to see if her son, Yun Feng, had

found anything.

As she approached the skeleton to say goodbye, she suddenly noticed something

unusual about the stone pillow beneath its skull. A thought struck her. She knelt three times before the skeleton, bowed, and said, "Excuse

me , but I must borrow your stone pillow to examine it! Please forgive me in heaven!"

She then lifted the skull and took out the stone pillow.

Inside an iron box.

"What could be inside?" Mei Niang murmured. She knew

the old man who possessed the skeleton must have placed something valuable in the box, but then she thought it impossible. Every luminous pearl

in was priceless; what could be more precious?

"Could it be a map to the outside world?" Mei Niang's heart leaped with joy at the thought. She quickly

blew the dust off the iron box, then tore a strip from her blood-stained coat to wipe it clean.

"Why can't I open it?" Mei Niang examined the cleaned iron box several times

, turning it over and over, but couldn't find a way to open it. She shook it to make a sound, but didn't give up.

After trying for a long time without success, Mei Niang grew impatient and picked up her sword to try and cut the box open. But

that didn't work either. Mei Niang, who had been so confident in her sword's sharpness, was now completely helpless. She

tried the other sword she had picked up earlier, but it was the same!

"I'll try again when I get back!" Mei Niang muttered to herself, utterly frustrated.

Just as she was about to turn back, she suddenly noticed a pit on the bottom of the iron box that she hadn't seen before. Touching the pit,

Mei Niang quickly turned the box over and examined it carefully. She was certain that this pit

was the key to opening the box. But what could she use to open it?

After searching for a long time, she couldn't find the bead that could open the iron box in the stone chamber. Just

as , she suddenly noticed the sword she had picked up earlier.

"Is it that luminous pearl?" Mei Niang thought to herself and quickly compared the size of the luminous pearl on the sword

with the pit at the

bottom of the iron box. Sure enough, it matched perfectly in both shape and size. Overjoyed, Mei Niang quickly

placed the protruding luminous pearl from the hilt of the sword against the bottom of the iron box. With a slight pull, the iron box snapped open.

Mei Niang separated the sword from the box, set the sword aside, and then opened the box.

Two brightly dressed and exceptionally beautiful women jumped down from the mysterious tree outside the cave. The

one in the lead was even more stunning, with a slender figure and a face like a cold plum blossom, yet she was unforgettable. She

carried a heavy bag and walked ahead, appearing to be only seventeen or eighteen years old.

Behind them followed a pretty woman who seemed a little younger. Although not as beautiful as the first woman, she

always had a smile on her face, making her very likable. She was clearly a cheerful girl.

Although she wasn't carrying anything, she was pulling a large gorilla along behind her, which seemed

rather incongruous!

Needless to say, these two were the masked people from earlier. It seemed they had already reverted to their original forms inside. No

one would have guessed that the skills and voices from before belonged to two girls in their late teens. The gorilla she was

pulling was Big Yellow.

At this moment, Big Yellow looked like a defeated rooster, its head drooping, weakly following behind

the younger girl.

"Seventh Sister, do you think we can explain ourselves if we go back like this? Last time we released someone without permission,

and the sect leader was furious. And this time…!" the girl behind

said to the cold woman called "Seventh Sister. "

"Hmm...it's alright, don't worry. Even if I'm angry, there's nothing I can do about you, little one, right?"

the person called "Seventh Sister" joked.

"It's me again! Why is it me again? Don't always use me as a scapegoat, and don't call me little one anymore,

or I'll never talk to you again!" the little one said petulantly.

"Oh, alright, my little sister Xiaoling, I was just joking. Don't be angry. It's just that the sect leader spoils

you so much!" "Seventh Sister" said.

"But what if we go back like this again?" Xiaoling asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, it'll be alright. Even the sect leader can't be sure. Besides, we brought back so many treasures,

and a powerful gorilla. The sect leader definitely won't blame us!"

"Then we can just say it wasn't us, right?" Xiaoling said innocently.

"You said it! I didn't!" "Seventh Sister" laughed.

"You... I won't say anything more. By the way, Seventh Sister, do you think those two are alright?" Xiaoling asked. "I

don't know. We searched for ages but couldn't find the mechanism, and we almost got hurt by that gorilla. They should be

alright, right?" Seventh Sister said, but then she thought of the handsome young man and sighed.

"But I always feel like I've wronged them, like we're some kind of robbers! It's all your fault!" Xiaoling

turned around and kicked Dahuang. Dahuang didn't dodge, but just looked up at the girl, as if to say, "If you're

so capable find the mechanism!"

"You dare look at me?" Xiaoling was furious when she saw Dahuang looking at her, and wanted to kick him again.

"Alright, Xiaoling, let's go back quickly. Remember what happened this time, don't tell anyone,

understand? Otherwise, we'll get scolded again!" Seventh Sister said.

"Yeah, I know that, it's not the first time!" After Xiaoling finished speaking, she and "Seventh Sister" laughed together

, and then pulled Dahuang out of "Ghost Valley".

"Why haven't they come back yet? Is Mother alright?" Yunfeng finally found

a , only to find it filled with food, all fresh. Yunfeng was very puzzled.

Why would there be so much food in a place that no one else knew about, and after living there for another ten years,

the food was still as fresh as ever?

Seeing that his mother, Meiniang, hadn't come out for a long time, Yunfeng grew worried. He grabbed his sword,

took a luminous pearl from the backpack Dahuang had thrown in, and went into the stone chamber.

When Meiniang opened the iron box, she found a letter, an untitled book, and

a .

Meiniang picked up the book, glanced at the cover (it was blank), and then opened the first page to find it was written

in Tibetan . Fortunately, Meiniang, who had been well-versed in various books since childhood, had studied this kind of language and could still understand it. Although

she hadn't been exposed to such things for some years, she could still comprehend it, so she read

on .

It read:

"Seek liberation, not in the next life, but in this life. Heaven is the root, earth is the foundation, yin and yang are cultivated together, the sea of desire supports the sky.

The Buddha said: Emptiness is form, form is emptiness." The absence of emptiness and form is desire. If one can control desire, "first lure them with desire,

then lead them into Buddhist wisdom," cultivating joy together. The meaning is boundless; the mind resides in the Buddha, and desire can be absent. Desire comes first, joy follows. The Buddha said

, "According to the various desires of all sentient beings, bring them joy." Therefore, it is joy!

When the last few words, "therefore, it is joy," appeared in Mei Niang's eyes, she was greatly ashamed. She hadn't expected that the book hidden in

the iron box was actually the secret mantra of Tantric Buddhism, "The Buddha of Bliss."

For Tantric Buddhism, this was a priceless treasure. For other Buddhist practitioners, it was of little use,

but for those petty scoundrels in the martial world, this was the best treasure to harm others! Upon seeing that the book was the Tantric

"Buddha of Bliss," Mei Niang wanted to destroy it.

However, she hesitated for a moment before tearing it up, not tearing it away, after all, it wasn't hers.

After thinking for a moment, Meiniang put the "Buddha of Joy" book back into the iron box, picked up the letter,

and hoped , "It must be a map to get out!"

When she tore it open and took out the letter, she found that it was not a map at all, but an ordinary

letter , a letter written in Chinese characters. Looking at this letter, Meiniang despaired. Her eyes involuntarily looked down and saw

that it read:

"The person who reads my letter must have been led in by the guardian spirit of the cave, 'Heavenly Ape.' Since you can enter this cave, you must be a person with

destiny . I was known in the martial arts world as the 'Evil God Ghost Emperor' 70 years ago. Because I had comprehended the Joyful Zen, I could not

suppress my desire to improve my martial arts. So I went to the martial arts world to seek a person with destiny. I was regarded as the 'Lewd Emperor' by my fellow martial arts practitioners.

After being chased, I suddenly discovered this cave and hid here."

About ten years later, I took four disciples by chance. However, three of them turned out to be wicked. I

sent my youngest disciple, "Little Iron," out to roam the martial world, leaving the remaining three to cultivate themselves.

Unbeknownst to them, these three were already skilled in martial arts, their sole purpose being my "Buddha of Joy" manual.

By the time I discovered this, it was too late. Those three unfilial disciples secretly poisoned me and forced me to reveal

the location a moment of panic, I told them that the "Buddha

of Joy" could only be given to one person, and they could choose one. The three showed no consideration for their own kind, and fought fiercely for the "Buddha of Joy."

I seized the opportunity to close the secret chamber outside, intending to trap them inside. Completely despondent,

I had , so I hid in the cave and threw out my "Divine Sword of Joy," which I had used during my adventures, telling

the three that only one person could wield this sword and come to me to retrieve the "Buddha of Joy."

The three men were unaware that once the cave door was closed, it could not be reopened unless opened from the outside. They

fought fiercely inside the cave, and all three perished. I myself, unable to suppress

the poison within my body, could not continue the fight.

Upon seeing this, Meiniang was filled with despair, knowing that she and her son Yunfeng could no longer leave this cave.

She herself was unharmed, but her child was still young. If he died in this cave, she would

not only be letting him down, but also her deceased husband!

The three corpses outside and the old man who had told her about this place were disciples of the cave's owner, and

the gorilla was the 'Heavenly Ape' mentioned in the letter. Now, she hoped that 'Dahuang' could reopen the door.

Thinking of this, Meiniang couldn't help but hope that Dahuang outside was safe, unaware that Dahuang had already been

captured by the two masked men.

With hope, Meiniang continued reading:

The one who can open this iron box must possess wisdom. Therefore, all the contents of the iron box are given to you. I hope you can keep the book "The Joyful Buddha"

safe . People consider this book to be an evil object, but if used properly,

it is not only a martial arts manual to enhance internal strength, but also a treasure to prolong life.

Regarding the stone gate outside the cave entrance, it was a strange stone I discovered. It took me five years to

make it. Initially, I only intended to seal my body in this cave after my death, so I didn't design a way to get out. Later,

realizing this was inappropriate, I racked my brains to find a way to break through the gate, and finally, I came up with a solution!

Upon seeing this, Meiniang was overjoyed. It seemed that the method to get out of the cave would be introduced next. Seeing hope of getting out,

Meiniang quickly continued reading:

Method 1: To get out of this cave, one must possess internal energy of at least five Jiazi (300 years). Use the 'Joyful Divine Sword' to shatter it,

which will take about three days!

Five Jiazi? Meiniang knew at a glance that was impossible. Five Jiazi is three hundred years of internal energy. Whether it was

herself, Yunfeng, or any other master in the martial arts world, who could reach that level?

Method 2: If the visitors are a man and a woman, they can meditate on the 'Joyful Divine Skill' and inject its essence into the groove behind the hilt of the 'Joyful

Divine Sword '. The 'Joyful Divine Sword' will then unleash its divine power.

There was no other way. The cave dweller—the Evil God Ghost Emperor—left this message.

Seeing this, Mei Niang was disappointed again. Method one was impossible for either her or Feng'er. Method two, although

the conditions were met, was simply impossible! Feng'er was her own son, and this method

still wouldn't work. Remembering the look Feng'er had given her earlier, Mei Niang's face flushed, and she felt a pang of panic.

She shook her head and quickly placed the letter and the book of joyful meditation into the iron box.

Just as she finished placing the box, she heard a loud scream from inside the cave. Startled, she recognized the voice as her Feng'er

's; he must have been frightened by the skeleton. She bowed deeply to the old man's skeleton on the bed, grabbed her

sword, and ran outside.
