Absurd Wedding

"Ring ring!"
Meng Yu, who had been waiting at the station for half a day, looked at the local Yangcheng number on the screen and thought, "Finally here!"
Today was Meng Yu's first time in Yangcheng, to attend the wedding of his college classmate, Sun Wei. After a three-hour drive from the provincial capital to Yangcheng, it was already late when he arrived.
After informing Sun Wei that he had arrived at Yangcheng Station, Sun Wei said he was busy and would have a friend pick him up. Meng
Yu could understand, after all, there were indeed many trivial matters before a wedding.
But he waited for more than half an hour, wondering if Sun Wei had forgotten about his old friend or what. Fortunately, Sun Wei finally arrived.
After answering the phone, a local accented Mandarin came through the receiver: "Hello, is this Sun Wei's classmate? I'm his brother, I'm already at the south gate of the station, where are you?"
Hearing the Mandarin with the same accent as Sun Wei, Meng Yu couldn't help but smile and replied, "Yes, I'm in the waiting hall, I'll be right out, what kind of car do you have, brother?"
After receiving the vehicle information on the other end of the phone, Meng Yu jogged towards the door.
As soon as Meng Yu exited the station, he saw a SUV parked on the side of the road with its hazard lights flashing. Walking over, he saw a man in his thirties sitting in the driver's seat. Slightly overweight, with short, neat hair and a large gold chain around his neck, he looked every bit the small business owner. This must be Sun Wei's cousin.
Sun Wei often mentioned his cousin in their casual conversations. After graduating, Sun Wei returned home to work with his already successful cousin on a Taobao business. For the first two years, his cousin had given him considerable support. It wasn't until last year that Sun Wei started working independently, so it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call his cousin Sun Wei's benefactor.
Meng Yu quickly stepped forward to greet him: "Brother, I'm Sun Wei."
Brother Sun Wei turned his head from the passenger seat, and Meng Yu finally saw his face clearly. He had single eyelids, thick eyebrows, and his small eyes occasionally flashed with shrewdness. His skin was tanned dark, and his face was slightly flushed. From what Meng Yu had observed, he seemed to have had some argument with the person in the passenger seat.
Brother Sun Wei joked, "Xiao Wei told me to just find the most handsome one at the station, and sure enough, get in."
Meng Yu awkwardly shook his head before opening the back door and getting in.
As soon as he opened the door, Meng Yu smelled a strong fragrance. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a woman with slightly curly blonde hair sitting in the passenger seat. From the curl of her hair and the fragrance in the car, he knew she had gone to the hair salon that afternoon, but unfortunately, he couldn't see her face from this angle.
After Meng Yu settled in, the car quickly started moving. While driving, Brother Sun Wei chatted with Meng Yu casually. Perhaps it was the scent in the car, but Meng Yu felt restless and distracted, his eyes constantly glancing at the woman in the passenger seat.
Since getting in, the woman hadn't uttered a single word, not even a greeting, just engrossed in her phone. Although Meng Yu hadn't been able to see her face clearly, even just the scent and the glimpse of her profile obscured by her long hair were enough to stir his imagination.
Sure enough, guys do like girls with long hair.
Distracted, Meng Yu couldn't help but wonder if he'd become this horny after a year without a woman. He was even having thoughts about someone whose face he couldn't see.
"Xiao Yu, where are you from?" Brother Sun Wei asked. Two strangers could only start a conversation with names and hometowns. They'd already exchanged names from their previous conversation; Brother Sun Wei's name was Sun Hong, and the woman beside him was his wife, Zhao Ru.
"Zhengzhou," Meng Yu answered instinctively.
Hearing this, Sun Hong seemed a little excited and said in a flattering tone to the passenger seat, "So you and your sister-in-law are from the same hometown, right, Xiaoru?"
But Zhao Ru in the passenger seat didn't respond, still looking down at her phone, clearly the two were still in a cold war.
Meng Yu's heart skipped a beat when he heard this; this was a good time to strike up a conversation, so he quickly asked affectionately, "Oh, which part of Zhengzhou is your sister-in-law from?"
To ease the awkward atmosphere in the car and ease the tension with his wife, Sun Hong nudged her with his elbow and said, "Xiaoyu is asking you."
Zhao Ru impatiently pushed Sun Hong's arm away but didn't remain silent any longer, instead replying coolly, "Jinshui District."
Seeing Zhao Ru speak, Sun Hong breathed a sigh of relief, and Meng Yu was secretly delighted. He chatted with Zhao Ru about things related to their hometown all the way, and gradually Zhao Ru's tone became less cold than before, beginning to come alive, like a clear spring flowing through her, making the itch in Meng Yu's heart even stronger.
A dozen minutes later, the car arrived at a local restaurant called "Xilaiju," where they got out together.
During this time, Meng Yu finally got a clear look at Zhao Ru's face, but he was stunned at first glance. Beneath her shoulder-length, lightly wavy hair was a snow-white, oval face with large, bright eyes like black pearls. Her lips, which she had just reapplied lipstick to before getting out of the car, were round and crimson, truly like cherry blossoms. While her face was no longer overflowing with collagen, it had gained a more mature charm.
Her breasts were full and firm. Although it wasn't summer yet, the weather was already getting hot, so Zhao Ru wore a white chiffon dress underneath a light blue denim jacket. As she got out of the car, she bent slightly, and Meng Yu could clearly feel the swaying of her ample breasts beneath the dress, heaving and surging.
Her deep cleavage was like an abyss, yet it only made one want to sink into it. Looking at her waist again, it was a perfect, slender waist, seemingly only able to be grasped in one hand; he wondered how it could support those enormous breasts.
The knee-length dress was stretched taut by her full hips, resembling a beautiful crescent moon.
Her calves were slender, without an ounce of fat, encased in bright white sneakers that accentuated their shape.
She wore white low-top canvas shoes. Meng Yu quickly compared her height to Zhao Ru's and found her to be between 1.68 and 1.7 meters, quite tall.
He hadn't expected to encounter such a beauty so soon after arriving in Yangcheng; this was a real beauty, not one of those internet celebrities who had undergone plastic surgery and makeup.
Although this beauty was already taken and no longer young, her status only excited Meng Yu more.
As the three of them came up from the garage, Sun Hong kept trying to put his arm around Zhao Ru, but Zhao Ru clearly resisted, running to Meng Yu's side and sandwiching him between the two of them, clearly refusing any physical contact.
Sun Hong's face was gloomy, but with a third person present, he couldn't lash out. Meng Yu, standing between the two, felt somewhat awkward, but the air was filled with Zhao Ru's fragrance, and her beautiful profile was constantly in his peripheral vision, making this journey a bittersweet experience.
Upon reaching the second floor, Meng Yu saw Sun Wei, dressed casually, waving at him from the doorway. Although he was captivated by Zhao Ru's beauty, he couldn't be too obvious at this moment, so he quickly stepped forward, took Sun Wei's hand, and left the two sullen-faced men behind.
"Long time no see, you're quite handsome," Meng Yu teased, looking at Sun Wei in his casual suit.
Sun Wei, however, was unabashedly modest: "Just average, top three in Yangcheng, after all, I'm the groom tomorrow."
After some more pleasantries, Sun Wei led Meng Yu to a table where five people were already seated. Through Sun Wei's introductions, Meng Yu learned that these were all his local friends.
Seeing that he didn't recognize anyone present, Meng Yu asked Sun Wei, "How many of your college classmates did you invite this time?"
"Just you," Sun Wei replied.
Meng Yu's expression froze for a moment before he exaggeratedly exclaimed, "So touching! True love!"
He knew Sun Wei was introverted and shy, so he had few friends during college. Moreover, once you got to know him, you'd find Sun Wei to be quite sarcastic and prone to making sarcastic remarks, making it difficult to maintain a good relationship even if you did become friends. It was quite surprising that he had only invited him to his wedding.
After some casual conversation, Sun Wei called out and went to greet the guests at the door.
Seeing no one he recognized, Meng Yu looked around and noticed Zhao Ru sitting at the next table with other female guests.
Zhao Ru glanced at him, and Meng Yu raised an eyebrow and smiled. Zhao Ru nodded slightly in response, then tossed her hair and looked down at her phone.
Actually, Meng Yu was handsome and wealthy, and always had good luck with women, so seeing Zhao Ru's indifferent expression made him feel a little disappointed. The joy of his old friend's wedding was completely dampened.
The room was full of guests, bustling with activity, but Meng Yu felt a little lonely.
Meng Yu glanced at Sun Wei and his friends at the other table, chatting in their hometown dialect. He couldn't understand much and couldn't join in, so he took out his phone to pass the time.
Half an hour later, all eight tables in the private rooms on the second floor were full. Sun Wei had returned and sat with Meng Yu at one table. The banquet quickly began, and under Sun Wei's influence, the table became lively, with quite a bit of alcohol being consumed.
After a few rounds of drinks, Sun Hong, his face flushed, came over with a glass to toast, "Xiao Wei's friends are my friends too. Come on, let's all have a drink."
He was quite generous, downing less than an ounce of baijiu in one gulp. Judging from his swaying gait, the tables before
him had also been swaying. After toasting everyone, Sun Hong went to Zhao Ru's table.
Meng Yu saw Sun Hong standing behind Zhao Ru, one hand holding a glass and making polite remarks, the other on Zhao Ru's shoulder. Zhao Ru was leaning forward, her brow furrowed in an impatient expression.
Strangely, the people at the other table didn't seem to react much to this situation.
After toasting, Sun Hong, seeing Zhao Ru still struggling, became furious and insisted she follow him to another table to toast.
At first, Zhao Ru remained unmoved, but after a while, Sun Hong lost his patience and began pulling at her, grabbing her denim jacket and lifting her up. Zhao Ru, being a woman, was no match for the strength of the drunken Sun Hong; despite her efforts to sit down, she was still lifted up.
Relatives around them, seeing Sun Hong's drunken outburst and the situation getting out of control, began to try and persuade him.
Sun Wei stepped forward, and Meng Yu followed without explanation.
Sun Wei pulled his cousin away, while Meng Yu protected Zhao Ru, separating the two.
But Sun Hong, already intoxicated, pointed his glass at Zhao Ru: "Zhao Ru, don't push your luck! You've given me attitude for days; you'd better drink today, whether you like it or not!"
More and more people gathered around.
Standing next to Zhao Ru, Meng Yu saw her raise her head, her eyes reddening and brimming with tears, yet she didn't let them fall. Her pitiful appearance was heartbreaking. Meng Yu wanted to teach Sun Hong a lesson, but firstly, he didn't understand why the two were so tense, and secondly, as a guest, he couldn't easily intervene.
Seeing Sun Hong still acting out drunk, perhaps not wanting to ruin the atmosphere of the banquet, Zhao Ru, with tears in her eyes, picked up her wine glass and said in a tearful voice, "Okay, I'll toast you."
Seeing Zhao Ru soften, Sun Hong was also calmed down. He picked up a bottle of baijiu from the neighboring table, filled his own glass, and then poured half a glass for Zhao Ru. He pulled Zhao Ru's arm and walked down from the table. Seeing the couple quiet down, the others who had tried to mediate didn't do anything more, pretending nothing had happened.
After all, in this kind of situation, the most important thing was to finish the meal peacefully; no one was sure what other drunken outbursts Sun Hong might cause if things continued.
Seeing Zhao Ru's forced appearance, Meng Yu felt a pang of sadness, but could only silently return to his seat.
Sun Hong and Zhao Ru went from table to table toasting, repeating the toasts at the three tables Sun Hong had already toasted. During this time, Sun Hong added half a glass of wine to Zhao Ru's glass. After eight tables, Zhao Ru had drunk about three or four ounces of wine, her face flushed and her eyes glistening with tears. Meng Yu's pity for her vanished, replaced by lust; he thought to himself, "What a beauty!"
Meng Yu and Zhao Ru exchanged glances. Perhaps grateful for Meng Yu's earlier help, Zhao Ru was no longer as cold as before; each time they met eyes, she forced a smile, which warmed Meng Yu's heart.
Sun Hong, on the other hand, appeared drunk, leaning back in his chair and dozing off until the banquet ended.
After the banquet, Zhao Ru followed the women at her table downstairs, not even glancing at Sun Hong.
At the urging of Sun Wei's father, Sun Wei reluctantly called two friends to help Sun Hong to his house. Meng Yu deliberately pulled Sun Wei along behind him, inquiring about his cousin and his wife's situation.
From their previous conversations, Meng Yu knew about their relationship; they seemed quite loving.
Sun Hong had returned to his hometown right after graduation and didn't have much money, while Zhao Ru was a native of Zhengzhou. Zhao Ru's parents didn't want their daughter to marry outside the city, let alone a penniless man.
However, Zhao Ru persisted, refusing to give up, and after much pleading and persuasion, her parents finally agreed. Their marriage was a testament to their love.
Sun Hong hadn't disappointed Zhao Ru; within eight years of graduation, he had amassed a considerable fortune. Sun Wei had mentioned in their last conversation that his brother's net income last year was over four million yuan. While not incredibly wealthy, it was quite comfortable. This should have been a happy fairytale, so it was strange how
things had turned out this way. Knowing Meng Yu's curiosity, Sun Wei readily recounted the whole story.
Over the past two years, Sun Hong's business had grown significantly, making him a small business owner in the area. Coming from a poor background, his sudden wealth had made
him somewhat arrogant. This "arrogant" was Sun Wei's own words; now, Sun Hong insisted on a grand entrance wherever he went. While his Taobao business hadn't required much socializing, after becoming wealthy, he began attending numerous drinking parties and frequenting KTVs and bars.
Being vain, he spent lavishly, quickly attracting a multitude of women.
As the old saying goes, "No cat can resist stealing fish." Sun Hong had affairs with several women, and Zhao Ru, being shrewd, found his attempts at concealment completely ineffective. The two were constantly arguing, and recently, Zhao Ru even caught Sun Hong holding hands with another woman while shopping, leading to today's scene.
In his words, Sun Wei also expressed some resentment towards his cousin.
Hearing all this, Meng Yu felt a mix of emotions, feeling sorry for Zhao Ru while also harboring other thoughts.
For some reason, from the moment Meng Yu saw Zhao Ru today, he felt as if his soul had been bewitched. His eyes were constantly drawn to her, as if she were a bewitching enchantress, easily stirring his emotions. Although there was
no trace of seductive charm in her eyes or gestures, her somewhat cold and world-weary expression always managed to capture Meng Yu's attention unintentionally.
The restaurant wasn't too far from Sun Wei's house; it only took them about twenty minutes to walk there, supporting the drunken Sun Hong.
Inside, Meng Yu noticed Zhao Ru sitting on a sofa, head down, playing on her phone, completely out of place amidst the lively celebration.
To Meng Yu, everything around him seemed gray, except for Zhao Ru, who was vibrant.
After settling Sun Hong in a side room, the group chatted for a while, and Meng Yu, under the guise of conversation, sat opposite Zhao Ru, his gaze constantly drifting towards her.
Around ten o'clock, the group set out a mahjong table and playing cards, ready to start a game. The custom here is that the groom cannot sleep on the eve of the wedding; he must "guard wealth and honor" by playing cards until dawn.
This gave Meng Yu an excuse. He claimed he didn't know the local card game rules and was tired from the long journey, so he prepared to return to the hotel. Although he was disappointed at not seeing Zhao Ru again, he was indeed exhausted.
Unfortunately, Sun Wei was going to take him to a hotel that had already been booked. There were four people at the mahjong table and a deck of cards, but three people were still needed to complete a game. Everyone was making things difficult for Sun Wei, preventing him from leaving and making Meng Yu keep watch.
Just as Meng Yu was getting annoyed and the situation was at a standstill, Zhao Ru, who had been playing on her phone for a while, suddenly stood up and said, "I'll take him. I was just about to go back too."
Hearing that Zhao Ru was leaving, Sun Wei tentatively asked, "What about your brother?"
Zhao Ru coldly replied, "Let him sleep here. Doesn't he have to drive your wedding car to pick up the bride tomorrow?"
Upon hearing this, Sun Wei readily agreed, handed the room key that had already been booked to Meng Yu, explained the hotel situation to Zhao Ru, and then his friend forced him to sit at the table and start playing cards.
Looking at Meng Yu, who was still staring blankly at her, Zhao Ru chuckled and said, "Let's go, I'll take you to the hotel to rest."
Meng Yu snapped out of his daze, picked up his backpack, and followed behind Zhao Ru. The two of them went out together.
As they passed Sun Hong's room, Meng Yu heard him snoring loudly, fast asleep.

The night was deep, and a cool breeze was blowing.
As soon as he stepped out, Meng Yu, wearing only a t-shirt, was shivered by a gust of cold wind. Just as Meng Yu
was about to put on his coat, he looked up and saw Zhao Ru tightening her denim jacket. He hesitated whether to lend Zhao Ru his jacket, when another gust of wind blew by, lifting Zhao Ru's long hair and carrying its unique fragrance to Meng Yu's nose.
The scent of a woman emboldened Meng Yu, and he shook the jacket in his hand before stepping forward and draping it over Zhao Ru's shoulders.
Zhao Ru walked straight ahead, but clearly hadn't expected Meng Yu to be so direct and reckless. When the coat fell onto her shoulder, she visibly shuddered, instinctively bending over and taking two quick steps forward before turning back to check the situation.
When she saw Meng Yu standing there, holding the coat in his hands, she realized he had been trying to put it on her.
Seeing Zhao Ru instinctively run away, Meng Yu's face instantly turned red, and he froze. *
What am I doing? Why did I do this without even asking? Will she think I'm reckless?
* Zhao Ru seemed to sense Meng Yu's embarrassment and said softly, "It's okay, I'm not cold."
Her tone remained calm and aloof, but the smile on her lips instantly thawed Meng Yu, bringing him back to life.
The streetlights behind them resembled a moon hanging above Zhao Ru's head, bathing her in bright light. It was difficult for Meng Yu, backlit, to see her face clearly, but thankfully, he could still make out the smile on her lips.
Although Zhao Ru's smile wasn't radiant, even appearing somewhat aloof, when the breeze ruffled the hem of her white dress and tousled her hair, Meng Yu still felt she was like a lily in a vibrant flowerbed, a fairy in the cool moonlight, the most beautiful woman in the world.
"Let's go, I'll take you to the hotel," Zhao Ru said, smoothing her wind-blown hair and turning to lead the way.
After Zhao Ru took a few steps, Meng Yu finally came to his senses, draped his coat over his arm, and strode forward to follow her.
Despite being in an unfamiliar city and walking on unfamiliar streets, Meng Yu felt no sense of alienation.
Neither of them spoke; only the wind spoke.
Stepping on Zhao Ru's shadow behind him, keeping pace with her, Meng Yu felt a long-lost sense of fulfillment.
At this moment, the surrounding scenery changed; he felt as if he were walking on a path from his high school days, experiencing the purest form of affection.
The hotel wasn't far, and they arrived in no time. Lost in his own world, Meng Yu apparently didn't notice Zhao Ru had stopped at the hotel entrance. He continued walking forward, bumping right into her as she turned around.
"Ah..." Zhao Ru was already tall, and Meng Yu was looking down at her shadow. Their foreheads collided, and Zhao Ru couldn't help but let out a cry of pain.
At the same time, her ample breasts made intimate contact with Meng Yu's chest. Having just turned around and not yet regained her balance, she lost her balance and fell backward.
Meng Yu instinctively covered his mouth with his hand, but seeing Zhao Ru fall backward, he instinctively took a step forward, reaching out his right hand to grab her. Fortunately, Meng Yu was a regular exerciser and reacted quickly, grabbing her collar and stopping her fall.
However, this resulted in a rather awkward position for both of them.
Zhao Ru stood frozen at an angle, her face still showing shock. Meng Yu, meanwhile, had his right foot between her legs, his left hand covering his mouth, and his right hand gripping the collar of her white dress, his eyes wide.
Because of the collar being grabbed and her backward leaning posture, Meng Yu had stretched the collar out of shape, exposing most of her chest to his gaze. He could see not only her black breasts beneath the white dress, but also the exposed half of her breasts swaying up and down, making him dizzy with desire.
Zhao Ru, now regaining her senses, had tears in her eyes and her face flushed crimson, a stark contrast to her fair chest. She was too embarrassed to speak, her small hands struggling to resist the urge to push Meng Yu's large hand from her chest upwards, trying to escape the shameful situation.
But Meng Yu's grip was firm; no matter how much she resisted, she only pulled her collar open wider, revealing more of her beauty. Seeing Meng Yu leering at her chest, Zhao Ru was on the verge of tears, her eyes brimming with rage. She cried out to Meng Yu, "Let go!"
This snapped Meng Yu out of his daze. Realizing the awkward situation, Meng Yu panicked and quickly turned his head away.
He had instinctively tried to help her, never expecting it to turn out this way. The most embarrassing thing was that he had been staring at her chest in a daze; how could he face her now?
He cursed himself inwardly, but the memory of Zhao Ru's alluring chest made his heart flutter.
Meng Yu didn't dare listen to Zhao Ru and let go at this moment; she would definitely fall hard. He thought he would help Zhao Ru straighten up first, then explain. He pulled Zhao Ru up a little with his right hand, but Zhao Ru clearly didn't understand his intention. Seeing him pulling on her collar, she thought he was taking advantage of her and pushed against Meng Yu's hands even harder.
With both hands pulling, a sharp "rip" sound rang out, and the already thin white dress finally gave way, tearing open at the neckline of Zhao Ru's right shoulder. Meng Yu didn't loosen his grip, and Zhao Ru's downward momentum didn't diminish, causing the tear in the white dress to widen further, finally stopping only at Zhao Ru's left hip bone, forming a diagonal line.
Fortunately, at the moment of her fall, Zhao Ru's hands changed from pushing to grabbing, managing to stop herself from falling by gripping Meng Yu's wrists. But at this moment, her upper body was barely covered, and looking at Meng Yu's wolfish gaze, Zhao Ru felt extremely ashamed and angry. She
would rather have fallen to her death!
Meng Yu held onto a corner of the dress, unable to resist scanning Zhao Ru's upper body with his eyes. Her full breasts, no longer concealed by the dress, appeared even larger. Her flat stomach was truly easy to grasp, and below, the bright white skin and the glimpse of black below stirred his heart.
Suppressing the rising emotions within him, Meng Yu struggled to tear his gaze away from Zhao Ru's chest. He quickly grabbed Zhao Ru's arms and helped her stand up straight.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry,"
Meng Yu repeatedly apologized, draping his coat over Zhao Ru's chest to cover her alluring figure before taking two steps back to create distance between them.
Meng Yu watched Zhao Ru stand there motionless, head bowed, seemingly lost in thought, and felt a growing unease.
Wanting to ease the oppressive atmosphere but unsure what to say, he glanced around before finally saying to Zhao Ru, "There's no one around."
It was meant to reassure her, but as soon as he said it, he felt embarrassed. After all, he had just witnessed all the good things, and whether anyone was around or not didn't make things any better for Zhao Ru.
Standing there, Zhao Ru felt an overwhelming sense of grievance. She had married far away, only to have her husband cheat on her. She had no friends to comfort her, and her stubbornness prevented her from confiding in her parents. After all, she was the one who had begged them to allow her to marry Sun Hong.
Even more aggrieved was that Sun Hong had relentlessly pressured her to drink that evening. Even though he had cheated first, he had shown her disdain and given her a hard time in front of so many relatives. Now, this man she had only known for a few hours had seen her naked. The more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt, and Zhao Ru began to sob.
Looking at the silent woman before him, her shoulders trembling, Meng Yu felt a surge of panic. He didn't know what to do, but he couldn't let her be like this in the street; if someone saw her, he wouldn't be able to explain himself. So he asked Zhao Ru, "Shall I take you upstairs first?"
After a moment, seeing that Zhao Ru didn't respond, Meng Yu glanced at the figures approaching in the distance and knew he couldn't continue like this. So he put his arm around Zhao Ru's shoulders and guided her into the hotel.
Zhao Ru was overwhelmed with grief, desperately trying to hold back her tears. Her mind was a blur, and she was being manipulated by Meng Yu like a puppet. When she came to her senses, Meng Yu had already led her into a hotel room.
Zhao Ru looked up, her eyes brimming with tears, and when she saw Meng Yu sitting beside her, she was startled. She shrank back, hugging herself tightly to her chest, staring at him warily, even though he was far away.
Looking at Zhao Ru's smudged makeup, her bewildered expression as she looked around, and her wary gaze upon seeing him, Meng Yu saw her as a fragile white rabbit, evoking pity.
Knowing Zhao Ru was wary of him, Meng Yu pointed to his forehead and said, "I'm going out to buy some band-aids," before turning and leaving without looking back.
Hearing the door close, Zhao Ru finally breathed a sigh of relief, looked up, touched her forehead, and cried out in pain. She realized that when she bumped into Meng Yu's mouth, her forehead had been scraped and bleeding, but she hadn't felt any pain until now.
Standing at the hotel entrance, letting the cold wind blow on her for a while, Meng Yu shook his head and followed his phone's navigation to find a pharmacy. Luckily, there was a pharmacy nearby, and Meng Yu quickly bought some band-aids and returned.
The hotel wasn't very soundproof, and after hearing crying coming from inside, Meng Yu lowered his hand from knocking, turned around, squatted down, and leaned against the door, listening quietly.
After a long while, the crying inside gradually subsided. Waiting another ten minutes or so, and finding no further disturbance, Meng Yu got up and knocked on the door.
As soon as the door opened, Zhao Ru's delicate face came into view. Zhao Ru had removed her makeup. Without foundation or concealer, she looked very clean; her face didn't have many blemishes, but it appeared pale. Without blush, she looked even thinner, and her eyes were surrounded by redness, like two swollen peaches.
Zhao Ru no longer wore Meng Yu's jacket, but instead buttoned up every button of her own denim jacket. Seeing Meng Yu, she was no longer wary, simply nodding slightly as a greeting before turning and going into the bathroom. It seemed she had figured out what had happened and composed herself.
Meng Yu followed her into the room. To salvage his image in Zhao Ru's eyes, he didn't close the door. Passing by the bathroom, he saw Zhao Ru wiping the water droplets from her face with tissues in front of the mirror.
Although he had seen that Zhao Ru had already washed her forehead and that the wound wasn't too bad, he still placed the band-aid he was holding next to the sink, reminding her, "I left the band-aid here."
Then he went into the room to wait for Zhao Ru to come out.
While waiting, Meng Yu was extremely anxious, unsure whether to stand or sit, feeling as if he were back in the moment of checking his college entrance exam scores, nervously awaiting the result that would determine his fate.
When Zhao Ru came out of the bathroom, she saw the door wide open and Meng Yu pacing back and forth inside, appearing very restrained and awkward. She couldn't help but feel a little better about him; it seemed he wasn't the kind of lecherous monster, and what had just happened must have been a coincidence.
When Meng Yu saw Zhao Ru come out with the Hello Kitty band-aid he had bought on her forehead, he felt that her originally thin face had gained a touch of playfulness and cuteness, and his wildly beating heart calmed down a bit.
Before Zhao Ru could speak, Meng Yu quickly explained, "I'm so sorry about just now. I was distracted and didn't expect you to stop. I really didn't mean to!"
Having calmed down, Zhao Ru knew he hadn't meant to after thinking about the whole situation, but she was still furious that her innocent body had been seen. However, seeing Meng Yu's anxious face and his eagerness to apologize, she felt too embarrassed to vent her anger on him and instinctively replied, "It's okay."
After saying that, Zhao Ru immediately regretted it. How could she forgive him so easily? His eyes were glued to her the whole time! How could it be okay?!
Hearing Zhao Ru say "It's okay," Meng Yu finally felt relieved. He was very concerned about his image in front of this woman, afraid that Zhao Ru would think he was a shameless scoundrel.
Then he thought to himself, "What good is leaving a good impression? After Sun Wei's wedding, I'll never have anything to do with her again." Thinking of this, Meng Yu couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness.
Zhao Ru felt regret, and Meng Yu was also heartbroken. Both lost in thought, neither spoke, making the atmosphere awkward once more. The two, already unfamiliar with each other, instinctively didn't want to bring up what had just happened, so they had nothing more to talk about.
Finally, Zhao Ru broke the silence, saying, "It's getting late, I should head back."
Meng Yu instinctively replied, "Then I'll take you!"
Without thinking too much, Meng Yu just wanted to spend a little more time with Zhao Ru.
Zhao Ru said, "No need, you don't know the way, I don't want to have to take you back!"
Wanting to seize the last opportunity to spend time with Zhao Ru, Meng Yu said, "It's okay, I have a good memory, if not, I can Google it!"
Feeling that his emotions were too obvious, Meng Yu added softly, "I mean, it's so late, it's not safe for you to be alone..."
Looking at Meng Yu, whose face was flushed and who seemed flustered and nervous, Zhao Ru felt as if she were seeing Sun Hong from her university days—he had looked just like this when he first spoke to her!
Knowing they shouldn't be too intimate and should keep their distance, Zhao Ru smiled and said, just like she had when she answered that shy boy years ago, "Okay!"
Meng Yu didn't have time to appreciate her beautiful, lotus-like smile before following Zhao Ru out the door.
Downstairs, Zhao Ru didn't take a taxi, continuing to walk in the night breeze.
This time, Zhao Ru slowed her pace, and Meng Yu didn't follow behind her. They walked side-by-side, neither speaking.
But Meng Yu felt this was perfect!
After walking for some time, they turned into a residential area, and after several twists and turns, Zhao Ru stopped in front of a building.
Zhao Ru turned to Meng Yu, who had unconsciously taken two more steps forward, and said, "I'm here!"
Meng Yu snapped out of his daze and said, "So fast?"
Zhao Ru hummed in response but didn't say anything more.
Looking at the graceful Zhao Ru before him, Meng Yu felt she was the most radiant dream under the moonlight, one he didn't want to wake from.
On a whim, Meng Yu said, "Can I come up for a cup of tea?"
The words were barely out of his mouth when he regretted them, inwardly cursing his own recklessness.
A lone man and woman, what was he doing going up for tea in the middle of the night? Her husband wasn't home.
All the image he'd painstakingly salvaged was now ruined!
Meng Yu quickly tried to salvage the situation: "Never mind, I'm not thirsty."
"Sure."

Of course, Meng Yu didn't go up for tea.
Because then Zhao Ru smiled again and said softly, "I live with my mother-in-law."
Only after watching Zhao Ru disappear into the elevator did Meng Yu turn and leave. He
'd been so focused on Zhao Ru the whole way that he hadn't bothered to remember any directions! Even with a map, navigation didn't cover areas within
residential complexes! After wandering around for ages, Meng Yu finally found his way out of Zhao Ru's complex. It was already 1:30 AM when he returned to his hotel.
Lying in bed, Meng Yu gently stroked his lips, recalling the kiss he'd had with Zhao Ru earlier that day.
He couldn't help but chuckle to
himself. Suddenly remembering something, Meng Yu jumped out of bed, quickly walked to the sofa, grabbed his coat, and took a deep breath.
A faint, sweet fragrance lingered in his nostrils, unlike the strong scent of Zhao Ru's hair. It was hard to describe; it was just a subtle fragrance that seemed to seep into his heart! ... He
slept soundly through the night. The next morning, Meng Yu was woken by Sun Wei.
He had rushed over before seven o'clock, carrying a suit.
Seeing the sleepy-eyed Meng Yu, Sun Wei squeezed into the room, saying, "Brother, my best man has a high fever, I'm counting on you today!"
Still a little groggy from just waking up, Meng Yu didn't quite understand: "What do you mean?"
"Hurry up and get dressed, be my best man!"
"What? Where are your other friends?"
"I didn't want to bother you, but you're the only one not getting married yet."
Meng Yu was thus forced into the role, and under Sun Wei's constant urging, he changed into the black suit and followed him out. Once in the car, Sun Wei explained the best man's duties to Meng Yu.
Since Sun Wei's elders would be accompanying the bride during the wedding procession, they would be responsible for handling the teasing and pranks from the bride's parents and relatives; Meng Yu only needed to help Sun Wei knock on the bride's room door and pick her up.
As the two chatted, the car pulled up in front of a flower shop. Several black sedans were already parked there, and florists were decorating them with red flowers and ribbons. Sun Hong and a few friends were chatting idly to one side. Gone was the drunken, lethargic mess from the previous day; he was now laughing and joking, looking radiant.
Meng Yu followed Sun Wei forward, greeted him, and was teased by Sun Hong, who mocked Sun Wei for choosing someone taller and more handsome than himself as his best man, saying he'd been overshadowed.
Meng Yu was already good-looking, and in the past two years, he'd consistently worked out in his spare time. Although his lack of dietary restrictions hadn't resulted in an exaggerated physique, he still had a firm chest, broad shoulders, and at 1.8 meters tall, he was a natural clothes hanger.
On the other hand, Sun Wei, despite not having gained a lot of fat from his comfortable lifestyle over the years, had developed a belly that resembled a volleyball.
Because of his awkward experience with Zhao Ru the day before, Meng Yu felt embarrassed by Sun Hong's teasing and didn't retort, simply smiling to end the conversation.
After exchanging greetings, Sun Wei took Meng Yu into a nearby barbershop, where they spent half an hour before emerging.
When they returned to the flower shop, both sported slicked-back hair and looked much more energetic. After Sun Wei accepted the bouquet from the shop owner, the group got into their car and headed home.
After finishing the noodles served by Sun Wei's parents, it was already 8:30 PM, clearly too late to leave at the originally scheduled time of 8:38. They hurriedly asked the photographer to quickly capture the pre-wedding scene.
Once all preparations were complete, at 8:58 PM, amidst the sound of a long string of firecrackers, eight wedding cars drove out of the Sun family home, making a grand entrance.
The wedding procession slowly made its way through the bustling city, conveying joy and happiness to the entire city.
Half an hour later, the procession entered a residential area called "Shengyuan Huafu" and stopped in front of a building. Meanwhile, the bride's relatives and friends, who had been waiting for a long time, gathered around with firecrackers, blocking Meng Yu and Sun Wei as they were about to get out of the car, demanding red envelopes and cigarettes.
The most vocal and aggressive among them was a woman holding a child; she was sharp-tongued and demanded ten red envelopes and five cartons of cigarettes. Sun Wei's relatives and friends from the other cars tried to persuade her to lower her demands, but to no avail, and they had to obediently hand over the prepared cigarettes and red envelopes.
Only then did they light their firecrackers to welcome the wedding procession, while the most vocal woman walked away like a haughty hen towards the back of the crowd.
Meng Yu patted Sun Wei, whose hands were trembling with nervousness, and recalled Sun Wei's earlier comment in the car: "I'm completely unmoved, I even have a slight craving for braised chicken." He couldn't help but chuckle.
The road ahead was arduous; the wedding procession soon faced its second hurdle.
It turned out the door to the bride's apartment was locked from the inside. The same woman was outside, bossing Sun Wei around, demanding ten more red envelopes and two cartons of cigarettes. Seeing the woman's arrogant attitude, Meng Yu felt disgusted, but given it was a major life event, Sun Wei's relative, under the woman's urging, produced more red envelopes and cigarettes before being allowed inside.
Just when they thought only the bride's room was left to overcome, reality shattered Meng Yu's naiveté.
Upon reaching the seventh floor and arriving at the bride's apartment, they found the door still tightly shut. They heard children laughing inside. This time, when the shrewish woman approached again, they ignored her and directly negotiated with the people inside. Another ten red envelopes were given before they were allowed inside, but in this way, all the red envelopes were used up.
As everyone listened to the commotion outside the bride's door, wondering what to do, Meng Yu had a sudden inspiration. He shouted, "We've already given out all the red envelopes outside! Here, open the door a crack, take out your phones, and we'll scan the QR code!"
Meng Yu and Sun Wei pressed their faces against the door. After hearing the commotion inside, Meng Yu gave Sun Wei a wink.
The moment the door cracked open, the two of them pushed simultaneously, and amidst the noise, the door was easily breached. After all, only the bride's female friends were holding the door open. As soon
as the door opened, Meng Yu, who was a head taller than everyone else, saw the other protagonist of the day through the crowd.
Inside the room, in the center of the bright red bedding, the bride, dressed in a red robe embroidered with golden phoenixes, sat cross-legged. Her red skirt spread out in a circle, and her makeup was exquisite and beautiful, rivaling any female star. Especially her striking eyebrows, which gave her a sharp and handsome look. Her hair was gathered into a bun, adorned with gold crane-shaped ornaments, exuding extraordinary elegance.
Seeing Sun Wei force his way in, the bride, all smiles, directed her bridesmaids to push him out. Meng Yu, seeing the bride for the first time, couldn't help but think that finding such a beautiful woman meant Sun Wei must have prayed to Buddha since childhood.
The bride had a powerful aura when she wasn't smiling, but when she smiled, her eyes curved into crescent moons, revealing neat, bright white teeth, and two small dimples appeared at the corners of her mouth, making her look incredibly sweet.
Amidst the playful banter, Sun Wei still scanned the QR code, but being young, he didn't cause too much trouble. Two hundred yuan was enough to settle the matter, and the games the bride had prepared began.
It's all because Douyin (TikTok) is so popular lately, making the wedding procession even more difficult. After enduring a series of punishments for failing games like guessing hickeys, saying nicknames, blowing out candles while wearing braces, and finding embroidered shoes, Meng Yu was now wearing pink bunny ears, and his lips, chin, philtrum, and even teeth were covered in lipstick. His disheveled appearance amused everyone. To make matters worse, Sun Wei, while thanking Meng Yu for sacrificing himself for friendship and taking the blame, also pulled out his phone and started filming along with the others.
Finally, after Sun Wei knelt down and read the guarantee prepared by the bride, the pranks finally ended.
The onlookers all left, and the bride's room was finally less crowded. Unable to bear watching the newlyweds whispering and whispering to each other, Meng Yu also went out and began to wash the lipstick off his face.
Emerging from the restroom, Meng Yu saw Sun Wei waving at him from in front of the bride's room. As he approached, Sun Wei explained, "I was too noisy earlier, I haven't properly introduced my girlfriend to you
yet." Inside the bride's room, only the bride and her bridesmaid, dressed in a white backless tulle dress, remained. The bridesmaid was rather plain, far less attractive than the bride—the perfect supporting actress!
Sun Wei grabbed Meng Yu's arm and introduced her to the bride, "This is my brother, Meng Yu. We were best friends in college."
Then, pointing to the bride, he said, "My girlfriend, Chen Xinran."
"Girlfriend?" Meng Yu drawled.
Seeing the bride's gaze, Sun Wei quickly explained, "It's not today yet, she'll be my wife after today!"
"Alright, you're smart." Chen Xinran looked away, letting Sun Wei off the hook. Then, pointing to the bridesmaid beside her, she said, "This is my sister, Wang Qi, single." She then winked at Meng Yu.
A stunningly beautiful woman winked at him, which pleased Meng Yu, who politely returned a smile.
The four of them were all young and quickly struck up a conversation. Chen Xinran and Wang Qi were clearly interested in entertainment gossip, and Meng Yu was able to join in.
Once the atmosphere was lively, Wang Qi casually asked, "Meng Yu, what do you do? You seem to know quite a lot."
Seeing Wang Qi staring at him, Meng Yu touched his nose and said, "Nothing, I'm currently unemployed."
Wang Qi gave an "oh" and then fell silent, looking somewhat disappointed.
Meng Yu knew what Wang Qi meant, but as someone who was attracted to good looks, he was indifferent to girls with this kind of appearance.
The atmosphere grew awkward when Sun Wei said, "Meng Yu used to work in IT, and he just sold the company last month, right? I heard it was for several million!"
Knowing his friend was trying to elevate his image, Meng Yu felt a headache coming on seeing Wang Qi's brightened eyes again.
How could this guy have such poor judgment?
"Meng Yu is that amazing?" This time it was Chen Xinran who asked.
Seeing his wife ask, Sun Wei excitedly replied, "Of course! He was a top student in college, always getting scholarships and treating us to the best food and drinks!" He was beaming, as if he were the one receiving the scholarship.
Now it wasn't just Wang Qi who was getting involved; Chen Xinran was also bombarding Meng Yu with questions. Fortunately, Chen Xinran was quite beautiful, and her voice was as melodious as a nightingale's, making her very pleasant to listen to.
Meng Yu was used to being fawned over by ordinary women, but the admiration from a beauty like Chen Xinran still pleased him greatly, making him feel quite smug, and he stopped putting on airs.
His good friend Sun Wei, on the other hand, was like a bamboo basket, pouring out all of Meng Yu's college stories bit by bit. When Sun Wei mentioned that Meng Yu had scored over 680 on his final CET-6 exam in college, he slapped his thigh and said to Meng Yu ,
"Brother, your English is so good, why don't you come with us on your honeymoon this time? It'll save us two academic underachievers from embarrassing ourselves abroad."
"No, I don't want to be a third wheel," Meng Yu refused.
"Didn't you just say you wanted a vacation? Come along~ Come on~" After getting to know each other better, Chen Xinran even started to cling to Meng Yu's arm and act coquettishly.
While he enjoyed the beauty's coquettishness, she was, after all, the bride, and the groom was right there!
Seeing Sun Wei's expression, he clearly hadn't realized his wife's current situation, so Meng Yu quickly nodded in agreement.
Chen Xinran then released Meng Yu and happily picked up her phone, saying, "Then I need to look at the travel guides carefully. Sun Wei and I were planning to join a tour group, but now we don't need to!"
The three chatted happily, but Wang Qi's eyes darkened. Her financial situation didn't allow her to travel abroad as freely as Meng Yu and his friends.
After the three of them created a WeChat group for travel, Chen Xinran kept browsing Weibo, enthusiastically searching for various tourist attractions. During this time, Wang Qi also secretly added Meng Yu on WeChat.
Time flew by, and it was lunchtime in the blink of an eye. In Yangcheng, lunch was eaten at the bride's house, and the bride could only be picked up after the meal. Moreover, the bride was not allowed to leave her room during this time.
So, the three of them left under Chen Xinran's pitiful gaze, leaving her alone in the house. Of course, someone at her house would serve her food, so there was no need to worry.
There were seven tables for lunch. Apart from the table for the wedding procession, the others were for the bride's relatives. After this meal, the dinner would still be held at the hotel booked by the groom's family, and then it would truly be a joint dinner for both families.
The meal was not peaceful. Chen Xinran's uncles and aunts came one after another to toast her. Sun Wei was fine, but Meng Yu, who had been helping him fend off the drinks, was half-drunk, his cheeks flushed.
The meal took almost two hours, and by the time they returned to Chen Xinran's house it was already past 2 PM. It wasn't appropriate to linger at the bride's house, as there were traditional wedding rites and kowtowing at the groom's house, and then a makeup and rehearsal at the hotel at 5 PM.
After all the ceremonial items were arranged, the wedding party began to descend the stairs. Sun Wei and Chen Xinran were the last to arrive. Chen's mother held Chen Xinran's hand, tears streaming down her face. Overwhelmed by the emotions of parting, Chen Xinran also couldn't hold back her tears, and Sun Wei's eyes reddened. Chen's father, however, had a stern face and urged Chen's mother to let go and let the child go quickly.
The whole family escorted Chen Xinran downstairs, except for Chen's father, who didn't follow after seeing his daughter leave. He turned his back, crossed his arms, and looked up.
With firecrackers clearing the way, the wedding party finally returned with the bride.
Chen Xinran only stopped sobbing and calmed down when they were almost home.
Sun's parents, who had been notified in advance, came downstairs early to wait for their son's return
from the wedding procession, and a large crowd had gathered around. Once the motorcade stopped, Meng Yu was the first to get out of the passenger seat of the main wedding car. As soon as he got out, Meng Yu saw Zhao Ru in the crowd. Today, Zhao Ru was wearing high heels, and she was taller than many of the men. She wore a black lace-up long dress with a beige knitted vest, and her hair was braided and swept from her right shoulder to her chest. While this outfit lacked the elegance
and brightness of yesterday's white dress and jeans, it accentuated her hot figure even more. Her ample breasts and plump hips were eye-catching, and she exuded adult allure. Zhao Ru wasn't stupid; she could certainly see the burning passion and infatuation in Meng Yu's eyes yesterday.
In the dark times of her husband's infidelity, the appearance of a young and handsome man like Meng Yu, whose actions and gaze showed her that his charm remained undiminished, pulled her gloomy heart back into the sunlight.Although she knew in her heart that her married status meant nothing could happen between them, the selfish vanity of a woman still compelled her to present her best self to Meng Yu, hoping to keep all of his attention on her. That's why she wore this alluring outfit; a woman dresses to please her lover, and it was all for Meng Yu.

As expected, the tall and imposing Meng Yu got out of the car and was momentarily stunned when he saw her. His bewildered expression pleased Zhao Ru greatly.
The surrounding noise startled Meng Yu, who quickly opened the back door for Sun Wei, while Sun Wei himself had to open the door to greet the bride.
When Sun Wei opened the door and bent down to carry the bride out, the surrounding clamor instantly intensified, everyone stunned by Chen Xinran's radiant beauty.
Someone in the crowd started a commotion, saying that picking up the bride couldn't be done by elevator and that Sun Wei had to climb the stairs. Sun Wei, caught up in the moment, didn't hesitate and carried the bride up the stairs, leaving Meng Yu to follow.
Clearly, Sun Wei was overconfident in his stamina, not considering that he lived on the eighth floor.
He stopped, panting, after only reaching the third floor.
The commotion from behind the stairs continued unabated, leaving Sun Wei with no choice but to ask his best man and bridesmaids for help.
Finally, Sun Wei carried Chen Xinran up the stairs again. Meng Yu stood beside Sun Wei, his hands on Chen Xinran's waist, pulling her upwards. Wang Qi supported Chen Xinran from behind, greatly reducing Sun Wei's burden.
Meng Yu's hands were around Chen Xinran's waist, feeling its soft, slender curves, as if she were a water snake. He was confident that with enough effort, his hands could touch.
Chen Xinran's wedding robe was made of smooth silk. With each step Sun Wei took, her body swayed and slid downwards, causing Meng Yu's hands, which had been on her waist, to move upwards with her movements.
By the sixth floor, Meng Yu's hands had slid down to Chen Xinran's chest, his eight fingers covering her breasts. Sun Wei, however, was using all his strength to conquer the stairs, completely unaware of what was happening behind him.
Chen Xinran, however, could clearly feel the change in Meng Yu's hands, her face flushing red with embarrassment, but she didn't say anything. First, she had been watching him from the moment his hand started moving, knowing that Meng Yu hadn't done it intentionally. Second, there were many people following them in the stairwell, and she was too embarrassed to bring it up in front of so many people, so she could only silently endure the burning heat on her chest.
At first, Meng Yu didn't notice the change in the position of his hands. When he felt Chen Xinran's slender waist getting thicker and even her chest bulging, he thought Chen Xinran was deliberately inhaling and inflating her stomach. It wasn't until his eyes unconsciously glanced at her that he realized his hands had slid down to Chen Xinran's position.
Chen Xinran wasn't very big, and the fabric of her wedding robe was extremely thick and slippery to the touch. Since Meng Yu's hands were only covering it, he couldn't truly feel the texture. What truly brought him pleasure was the other person's identity and Sun Wei, who was right in front of him.
Meng Yu didn't dare to indulge in this pleasure, after all, the other person was his friend. Just as he was about to withdraw his hands and grasp Chen Xinran's waist again, Sun Wei stood still and bounced, putting his arm, which had slid down to the back of Chen Xinran's legs, back onto her thighs, raising Chen Xinran's sliding body slightly. At the same time, he muttered, "So heavy!"
His jolting brought Meng Yu's hands into closer contact with Chen Xinran's breasts. As Chen Xinran landed, Meng Yu's hands sank deep into her breasts.
Although Chen Xinran's breasts weren't large, they were very firm and the flesh was quite tight; this accidental touch revealed much more than could be gleaned from them.
Chen Xinran, already embarrassed and flustered by being in Meng Yu's hands, and hearing Sun Wei complain about her weight, immediately grabbed his ear and spun him around. Only after Sun Wei cried out and begged for mercy did she release him, and Meng Yu's hands returned to their original position.
Afterwards, with Meng Yu consciously paying attention, his hands never touched Chen Xinran again, which made Chen Xinran breathe a sigh of relief.
When Sun Wei arrived home and placed the bride on the new bed, his face was flushed, he was sweating profusely, his legs were trembling, and he could barely stand.
After a short rest, the couple emerged from the bridal chamber and began their wedding ceremony, kowtowing, serving tea, and exchanging vows. The surrounding crowd was bustling with excitement and cheers.
Standing to the side, Meng Yu smiled at his longtime friend, his heart filled with blessings. However, when he saw Sun Hong standing beside Zhao Ru, a shadow of gloom crossed his face, though he didn't show it, only glancing at the couple out of the corner of his eye.
Sun Hong, now sober, remembered what he had done the previous night. Seeing Zhao Ru, dressed like this, he immediately sidled up to her, apologizing as he roughly placed his large hand on her shapely figure, groping and squeezing her occasionally, clearly enjoying himself.
Zhao Ru was disgusted, but with so many people around, she couldn't avoid Sun Hong. In such a festive atmosphere, she couldn't openly stop him, so she tried to push away his hand from her crotch. But Sun Hong treated it as a game, naturally returning his hand each time he pushed it away. After several such attempts, Zhao Ru gave up, letting him do as he pleased.
Meng Yu resisted the urge to separate the two until Sun Wei finished the wedding ceremony. He then tried to greet Zhao Ru, but the crowd blocked his way, and he could only watch her leave with Sun Hong.
They didn't return until Meng Yu went to the hotel for rehearsals with Sun Wei.
