"Moonlit Palace" - Chapter 008: I Want to Marry You

When Qi Fei woke up, she was in Fan Xiao's arms. The masculine embrace made her suddenly disoriented. Looking at the handsome man in front of her, those unbearable memories flooded back into her mind. She struggled to break free from the boy's embrace, but in doing so, she woke the boy who had just fallen asleep.
"Awake?" The boy hugged her tightly. "Let me hold you a little longer. You smell so good, with a faint scent of pear blossoms."

Qi Fei lowered her head and did not answer. She had lost all her martial arts skills and could not leave this secluded mansion. Tomorrow, she would find a way to leave.
"Are you hungry?" the boy asked ingratiatingly. "I'll have the servants bring you something."
"I'm not hungry." Qi Fei didn't want to get closer to anyone anymore. She had already been hurt deeply by the person she trusted. Even the slightest pain would be like the last straw that broke the camel's back, making her doomed. This was especially true for someone she should have had no connection with.
"Gurgle." But her own stomach wasn't cooperating at all.
"Haha." Fan Xiao laughed and hugged her tightly: "I really like you. I liked you the moment I saw you last night." She was like a maiden being sacrificed, with a desperate allure that made him want to possess her again and again.
"What is the Fifth Prince doing?" Fan Qing, who was sitting in the pavilion sipping fragrant tea, asked the guard standing to the side who was reporting the news.
