Tiger waited for me at the entrance after parking his car. Wearing a short-sleeved shirt, he couldn't hide the black tiger tattoo on his body;
a tiger claw tattoo appeared on his arm. This guy looked so fierce, and with those sunglasses,
he had a
tough, street-smart look. When the security guards asked him who he was looking for, he couldn't answer, so they guarded him like he was facing a formidable enemy. Finally, when he saw me, he jumped and skipped around. If it weren't for the fact that this was the only way out, I would have pretended not to know him.

I smiled and handed the security guards a pack of imported cigarettes, then yelled at Tiger to take off his sunglasses. I contacted
one of Zhang Hao's friends, found out where he was, and then took Tiger there.

As we walked, I took the recorder out of my pocket. It was bought along with the camera
, and there were also several Bluetooth eavesdropping devices included. It was a mini version, and I put it in my pocket after unpacking it.

"...That idiot Wu Hu messed with me...he should have been kicked out like Wu Hu long ago..."
The recording was of our previous conversation. To be honest, my original intention was just to test the recording quality, but this
was an unexpected bonus.

"Damn, so it was this bastard who messed with me?" Wu Hu's eyes widened, his fists clenched so tightly they cracked.

"Knowing the truth now is useless. You've already been fired, but we've found the culprit, so we
still have to get revenge," I said calmly. No one knew what I was really thinking

. At this point, we had arrived outside the ward, but we didn't go in. It wasn't that we were afraid, but the noise inside
was just too loud. A woman was crying and screaming, her sharp screams hurting my ears. It seemed like several nurses...
No one could stop her.

"Waaah! This damned thing! Why wasn't it bound by the umbilical cord? It was born to harm others, beating my child like this! Is it even human?" The woman's voice, though pleasant, became shrill and vicious as
she nearly screamed. I frowned. How could she speak like that? The person inside seemed unable to bear it any longer and came out, just in time to see me. They quickly turned back and said, "Aunt Lü, he's here! He's right here!" Seeing this, I knew I couldn't linger outside. Since I was already here, I was prepared to take responsibility and wasn't afraid of trouble. So I walked in confidently. I immediately saw a beautiful mature woman with her back to me. Her hair was styled in a high bun, her skin was as white as jade, and she had a full, graceful figure. She was wearing a blue uniform shirt, which accentuated her tall... Her breasts were firm and rounded, her waist slender, her hips and shapely. Beneath her black miniskirt were a pair of long, fair legs, smooth and delicate, encased in sexy black stockings. Her thighs were rounded and slender, and below her rounded knees were long and shapely calves. She exuded a captivating mature charm. She sat on the hospital bed, tightly gripping Zhang Hao's hand. Her beautiful legs, clad in black stockings, were on the ground, their full curves incredibly alluring . Hearing the sound, she turned her head, and I finally saw her face. Her fair face was lightly powdered , and tears welled in her phoenix eyes, two faint tear tracks smudged her makeup. Below her right eye was a teardrop shaped beauty mark, a rare black tear mole, adding a touch of sensuality to her already beautiful face . "You! You! You devil! What did my child do to offend you, to..." "Such a vicious hand, why don't you just die I'll kill you!" But beneath that beautiful face lay a cruel one. She screamed, her delicate nails bared, as if to scratch my face. But that was obviously impossible; this wasn't the place to throw a tantrum. Her actions were stopped by others, including a nurse who had previously harassed me . "Auntie, it's true I hit him, but the whole thing is your son's fault. I was just " I ignored her actions, scanning her mature and sexy body, and said coldly , "Hmph, don't try to pull any strings. Let me tell you, I'm a lawyer. Trying to talk law in front of me is just ignorant." As she spoke, she rattled off a series of vague statements, categorizing my actions as excessive self-defense, bullying , intentional assault, and violation of personal rights. "The charges of 'picking quarrels and provoking trouble' and 'affray' were all pinned on me. Humiliated, my face turned pale and then red. So she's a lawyer. No wonder she's so sharp-tongued; she can insult people without using a single vulgar word. After hearing what she said, I felt a headache coming on. This was clearly bullying me. I opened my mouth several times but couldn't find the words. 'Ha, ma'am, you're exaggerating too much. Do you think we don't know the law? My child is still a minor , under the protection of minors. This happened at school, which means the school's supervision was inadequate. And it was your son who started it, and he's the one who instigated the brawl.' A voice like a gentle stream rang out behind me. I was startled, a faint smile appearing on my face. The person was my aunt, Bai Jing. Presumably, the nurse had secretly contacted her after seeing me." She was in the department, and I never expected that even though I didn't intend to bother her, I would still drag her into this . My aunt, being a graduate of a prestigious university and having spent so much time in the hospital, had encountered many such face-to-face confrontations . Having had so much experience, she was naturally very familiar with the situation and her rebuttal was quite eloquent. "Auntie, I don't know how you raised your child. Zhang Hao is a scoundrel at school, taking advantage of being the captain of the basketball team and being an older student, bullying boys and girls with impunity. And do you know how foul his mouth is?" With my aunt's support, I spoke with confidence. "Are you talking about my parenting? I think you're the one who's born without a mother! I don't care I only know that my son is like this now, and I need an explanation!" The beautiful woman said proudly, looking down on everyone. One sentence in particular struck a chord. This touched a raw nerve, and my eyes dimmed. I fell silent. My aunt noticed and gently took my hand in hers . The warmth of her palm offered some comfort . "Xiaofang, what's wrong with the child?" my aunt asked the nurse beside her. The nurse, suddenly called upon, seemed nervous. She glanced at the whiteboard in her hand and stammered a string of medical terms I couldn't understand. Finally, my aunt took the whiteboard and started looking it up herself . I secretly glanced at it and saw the name Lü Hui in the family members' records. It seemed she was Zhang Hao's mother . The whiteboard mentioned something about a fractured jaw and a mild concussion, which sounded quite serious. However, seeing my aunt's calm expression, I felt relieved. "Ms. Lü, your son's condition isn't serious. He's just slightly unconscious right now. He just needs some rest."

"To express our apologies, we'll cover the medical expenses this time, and then we'll compensate you with some money. How about that?" the aunt
said sincerely, trying to settle the matter with money.

"Hmph, compensation is a given, but let me tell you, my child is a key player on the school basketball team and will
be on the national team in the future. If he suffers any long-term effects, it will be a lifelong issue. I need more than just a sum of money
." Lü Hui twirled her fingers, as if she were carefully calculating.

"Ms. Lü, this is just an ordinary case of school violence, and the mastermind is your son. My child
is the victim, it's just that you..." " My son is no match for him, and he overestimated himself and tried to bully my child, only to get beaten up in the end. I've
already done more than enough; don't be ungrateful," the aunt said angrily, her pretty face contorted with resentment

. "I've already looked into the matter. Who said my son bullied him? He was just
chatting when this little punk provoked my son, and then this ill-mannered guy beat him up like this.
Look at him now, full of energy! Who bullied whom? Should we go to court and settle this?" Lü Hui
grabbed his injuries and wouldn't let go, shifting the blame for the beating onto me

. "Hmph, it was your son who hit me first, then his friends all ganged up on me, and that's when I started fighting back.
If you don't believe me, you can ask them." Although I didn't know much about the law, I'd been in many fights, so I knew
the one who started it bore the most responsibility. I spoke confidently.

Before I finished, I took out my recorder and played it in front of everyone. Watching Lü Hui's constantly
changing expression, I felt much better.

Suddenly, Lü Hui scoffed, seemingly unconcerned about what I was playing: "What's the use of this recording
? Is it for court proceedings?" "Is this to prove your innocence or Chen Ling's innocence?"

I remained silent. I'd only impulsively shown the recording; the conversation contained
little substance and wouldn't be of much help. Lu Hui, however, stood calmly, clearly having a backup
plan.

"You say my son hit you first? Then show me the evidence. Words alone aren't enough. I
heard you started it. Come on, tell me what happened." Lu Hui glanced at me contemptuously,
a faint smile playing on her lips.

At that moment, someone stepped out from the crowd—Zhang Hao's friend... "Friend," I thought, "was one of the people who participated in the beating. Seeing
the glint in his eyes, I was startled.

Could it be...?" He pointed at me, speaking confidently and without hesitation, "Yes, you started it. We were chatting and joking around, and everyone
knows Chen Ling is Zhang Hao's girlfriend. The conversation turned to Chen Ling, and you overheard it. You felt
insulted because you thought you'd had an affair with Chen Ling, and in a fit of anger, you attacked Zhang Hao. But because you were alone,
we subdued you and pinned you to the ground."

I laughed coldly, furious. I stared at him, and the man, seemingly unashamed, continued, "I initially
let you off the hook because you're young, but you shamelessly shouted about what happened between you and Chen Ling, so Zhang
Hao couldn't help but say those things. Later, your friend who was helping you came, and you took the opportunity to retaliate, beating him up
like this."

This whole thing seemed meticulously prepared, the reasons so convincing, as if he could even vividly describe the scene.
If I hadn't known the truth, I almost would have believed him.

What a clever tactic! At the time, I was surrounded at the toilet entrance; although there were many onlookers, everyone kept their
distance from anything involving a fight. Fearing the consequences, they dared not look, so they could manipulate the truth.

Tiger, however, couldn't contain himself and flew into a rage, his fists whistling through the air: "Damn it, what the hell are you saying?
Are you blind? That idiot clearly started it!"

Even a idiot like Tiger could see the truth, so the others naturally knew there was something fishy about what he said. But
the witnesses evidence were all in their favor, and I couldn't speak out even if I had a bitter pill to swallow. For a moment, I didn't know what to do

. Lu Hui glanced at Tiger and said dismissively, "Where did this stray dog come from?
What ?" "So, they can just let anything in the hospital? Looks like I'll have to get my husband to keep an eye on things."

Tiger's eyes widened, burning with anger. He rolled up his sleeves, ready to fight. I noticed the security guards outside the door
watching intently, so I waved him down.

Seemingly sensing my predicament and knowing I had no other evidence, Lü Hui
sneered : "Hmph, what else do you have to say? If not, come with me to the station. Let me think...
which juvenile detention center in our city has good food? Don't worry, you won't be treated badly."

"You..." My eyes blazed with fury. At that moment, my aunt stepped forward, gave me a meaningful look, then
met Lü Hui's smug gaze. Knowing we were at a disadvantage, she sighed and said resentfully,
"Tell me how much compensation you want. I just hope you can be lenient and let him off the hook."

"So you finally realize your mistake, huh? Heh, add medical expenses, lost wages, nursing fees, transportation costs, hospitalization
food allowance, necessary nutritional expenses, and follow-up treatment costs..." Lü Hui launched into a long, boastful explanation, eventually
arriving at a staggering yet barely manageable figure.

This was the first time I felt so powerless. My chest felt like it was being pounded by a thousand drums, a burning
resentment I couldn't vent. She was clearly trying to fleece us, and it seemed she hadn't finished speaking—
what else did she want?

"And I think, if you think you're wrong, wouldn't it be better to kneel down and admit your mistake? Hehe, I
'm a reasonable person, I won't force you." Lü Hui crossed her arms, her high breasts heaving,
a strange smile on her face

. This smile seemed incredibly sarcastic to me; it was clearly a demand for me to kneel, presented in such
a high-sounding way . I was speechless, trembling with anger, but hesitated to kneel

. Lü Hui seemed indifferent, lazily continuing to trim her nails, saying, "Alas, it's a pity my child
is injured like this, and my husband, as the deputy director of the Narcotics Control Bureau, is out handling a case and can't come back to seek justice for us.
"

My aunt's face changed drastically. She stepped forward and knelt down in my place, saying, "Ms. Lü,
we were wrong in this matter. We hope you will be magnanimous and forgive us."

Just as I was shocked and angry, and was about to help my aunt up, I saw Lü Hui suddenly raise her hand and, with a whooshing sound,
slap my aunt across the face.

A loud slap stunned everyone. Lü Hui, her face stern, said coldly,
"Who told you to kneel? I hate self-righteous, pretentious women like you!"

My aunt's pretty face, already exhausted, was suddenly slapped. Her beautiful eyes widened, she froze,
her face drained of color, all sleepiness vanished, and tears welled in her bright eyes, as if mist were rising from her eyelashes. She had actually
cried from the slap

. "Damn it!" I roared, unable to tolerate this any longer. I swung my fist at Lü Hui's stomach,
determined to beat her to a pulp.

"No!" My aunt screamed, shielding me tightly. She hugged my legs, feeling
my aunt's body tremble slightly. I paused for a moment, then stopped, gently stroking her back

. Tiger, seeing my aunt being bullied, felt her pain deeply, his eyes blazing with fury. He couldn't hold back any longer and rushed forward,
but the next moment he was dragged away by the security guards who had been following him.

"Hmph, you beat my child like this, I'm already being lenient by not calling my husband to have you arrested
. This is just collecting interest. What, you want to fight back?" Lu Hui was... She looked
terrified , but seeing me stopped and Tiger being dragged away, she regained her arrogant demeanor and said haughtily

, "I'll pay you back the money. I hope you won't make things difficult for my child. Tiedan, take me home, I'm tired."
My aunt knelt weakly on my knees. The first part of her words were meant for Lü Hui, but the latter part was for me. I
quickly helped her up and hugged her tightly. My nose stung with tears.

At this moment, besides anger, I also felt moved. From the beginning until now, my aunt had always claimed to be... Calling me his
child , not his nephew, might not seem like a big deal to others, but to me it was a world of difference, like heavenly music.

Thinking of this woman who cared for and loved me being treated like this, anger surged within me. I clenched my fists,
my nails digging deep into my flesh, but my aunt had already spoken, so I had no choice
but to suppress my rage. I glared fiercely at Lü Hui, then, holding my aunt, I left the ward without a word. I would remember this incident.

Lü Hui, seeing this, started cursing again: "What are you looking at? I'll gouge your eyes out!" "Eyes, and also, I need to take
my son home to recuperate. Until he's fully recovered, your hospital must provide us with the best equipment and services.
As for you, you must be available at a moment's notice."

Those sexy, slender fingers pointed at my aunt, but I found it particularly distasteful. My aunt paused, her eyelashes
trembling slightly, as if suppressing her anger, and without turning her head, said, "I understand, I'll arrange it for you." I

didn't know where Tiger had been chased away by security, and I had no intention of looking for him. I ran into
Wenya at the stairwell. She already knew what had happened, and her eyebrows bulged: "Hmph, her husband is just a deputy director, yet
he dares to act so arrogantly! Does he think the hospital is his own private property? No way, I'm so angry! I'm going to have my husband
smash her car!"

My aunt gave a bitter smile: "Even if he's a deputy director, he's not someone we can mess with. I know your husband was
a special forces soldier, but he finally got a job in a debt collection company, not for you to smash the director's car.
Besides, you're getting married soon, don't cause trouble now."

As she said this, my aunt... A sudden silence descended, and Wenya, as if knowing she had touched a sore spot, remained
silent. I tenderly took her hand and comforted her. The three of us stayed there quietly, the two different fragrances emanating from
them making me feel exceptionally refreshed

. "I'll be going now, be careful," someone waved to Wenya, and her gentle smile was like a spring
breeze

fumbled around my aunt's waist for the keys and found her car in the parking lot.

Seeing my aunt sitting silently in the passenger seat with her eyes closed, a faint red
handprint on her fair cheek, I felt both heartache and guilt. I felt annoyed; if I hadn't gone to find her, she
wouldn't have known I was in the hospital, wouldn't have been slapped, and wouldn't have had to pay compensation.

That old bitch, one day I'll make her pay!

(This chapter was written a while ago, planned to be released at midnight, but I had a sudden change of heart. Originally, this chapter and the next
chapter were one, but I split them up and rewrote the words. I've been writing all morning, and my head is a little sore. Thank you for your support.)
