day off from work that afternoon, explaining that a classmate was passing through and I needed to pick him up. At the station, I
found She was a typical Sichuan girl—petite, with a round, doll-like face that was fair and rosy. Her slightly wavy, shoulder-

style hot pot restaurant and ordered dog meat hot pot. I asked her if she wanted to drink, and she said a little. So I ordered a bottle of local
Hunan liquor.
