Our bus experience

A few days ago, on a crowded bus during rush hour, a beautiful woman in a short skirt kept rubbing against me. My first thought was that she'd encountered a pickpocket, and I glared at her several times. Then I realized she was trying to avoid a man next to her who was using a briefcase to cover his genitals. I initially thought the man was a pickpocket (using a briefcase to cover one's hands is a common thief's gesture), so I smiled and said to the woman, "With so many people on the bus, you should be careful with your belongings. My phone was stolen on the bus last time" (I have a pretty loud voice). Immediately, a bunch of people looked over, and many saw the pervert. Many people stared and laughed at him (that's when I realized what had happened). The pervert then viciously cursed me, accusing me of slander and insulting my entire family, warning me to be careful.

Actually, you must be brave in situations like this! Often, the more you tolerate and avoid it, the more the pervert will think you're weak and vulnerable, and they might even take advantage of you! If you act bravely enough, the pervert will basically give up on you; he'll be afraid you might fight back. Some girls might think that no one will stand up for them on a bus, but if you yell and shout a few words, the pervert will usually run away. Moreover, more often than not, the driver or other passengers will come to your aid, or you can call the police. If you're just worried about being embarrassed, try switching seats with the men around you; they're generally happy to help.

I don't ride buses or subways often, but I've encountered suspicious men when I have. How suspicious? In non-rush hours, when there aren't many passengers and there's enough space, they still try to get very close to you. I believe many girls would feel something's off if they encountered such a man. Of course, as a working woman who isn't exactly soft-spoken, I usually don't restrain my reaction, and might even exaggerate by asking, "What are you doing?" "Don't touch me!" "There aren't many people here, why are you so close to me?"... So I've never been harassed. But! And here's the but! Some people will retort, for example: "I didn't touch you, I accidentally touched you, why are you yelling?" "Oh, this girl is something else, you scared me..." And then what? A few words in a heated argument? You need to understand, for some people, especially girls, arguing with a greasy, sleazy guy in public won't get them anywhere; they'll just get angry and might even be humiliated. But "fleeting" harassment might not even be considered harassment! You can't do anything to the harasser!

Another example: it was a hot summer day, and the air conditioning on the bus couldn't keep up with the crowded people. I was so hot I felt like I wanted to kill a god. That pervert was about 1.75 meters tall, slightly overweight with a bit of a belly. I'm less than 1.6 meters tall, and although I weigh over 100 pounds, I probably wouldn't be big enough to punch. But I was a gangster in my younger days! In junior high, I even had my arm around the girlfriend's best friend of the gang leader's right-hand woman! Even though I haven't been in the underworld for years, my legend still lives on! So I glanced at his crotch and laughed, saying, "Sorry, I misunderstood you as a thief. It's just that your erection looks like a toothpick; I didn't even notice!" The whole bus turned into a sea of laughter. The pervert scurried away as soon as the doors opened at the stop.

Of course, I dared to retaliate so boldly because several men on the bus had already come over, and an older woman sitting nearby even stood up to protect the beautiful woman behind her. Often, there are still many kind-hearted people. Even if someone just glances over or shouts "What are you doing?!", it's enough to make the pervert intimidated and run away. Remember! You must be brave when you encounter something like this! Being afraid, weak, and crying at home won't solve the problem! Even if you don't dare to shout or yell, at least dare to push the lecherous man away and get away from him! Of course, you must also protect your personal safety!
