The meal was quickly prepared, and Qin Yun brought it out and placed it on the table. Li Feng insisted on helping, but Qin Yun declined. Yu Tong, however, quickly went in and out of the kitchen and brought out all the dishes.

Just as he was about to leave, Qin Yun stopped him. Yu Tong looked at her, puzzled. Qin Yun said, "Yu Tong, stay and sleep with me. I'm a little scared."
Yu Tong nodded, lay down beside her, and the two embraced, quickly falling asleep. However, Yu Tong didn't notice that Qin Yun's way of addressing him had changed; she no longer called herself "Mom." Perhaps even Qin Yun herself hadn't realized it; she had simply called him that subconsciously.
