Chapter 3 Panjiayuan QQ Group

My identity as a student who went to university for the second time in 2013 was that of someone born in 1992, two or three years older than my classmates, and even
older in real life. My classmates thought there was a generation gap between us, and I thought there was a generation gap between us. My classmates didn't like
to talk to me, and I didn't like to talk to them either. I only spent my free time online. I always used QQ to chat online.
When I was bored and lonely, I joined a lot of local QQ groups for casual sex, so I simply created one myself.
In the first semester of my freshman year, based on my ID card from 1988, I created a fictitious
identity as a graduate student at R University and created this casual sex QQ group. The group was called "Panjiayuan," and the theme was "cuckoldry dating
," meaning that all the female members of the group were married women like Pan Jinlian.
The theme of this hookup group I'm creating is "cuckoldry," a creative idea I came up with to broaden its scope,
targeting all married women looking for passion online, and even linking it to ***** and SM dating. I
named the group "Panjiayuan," firstly because I often visit Panjiayuan after coming to Beijing, so I used that to represent
the city the group represents, and secondly because using Pan Jinlian as a representative figure signifies the theme of the cuckoldry group.
This "Panjiayuan" QQ group I created is essentially a hookup group, which is somewhat unique
and has a certain cultural flair. Those who are uncultured and don't even know much about *Water Margin*
might think it's an antique-related QQ group just by looking at the name and the group avatars made from illustrations from a children's version of *Jin Ping Mei* . Only those
with some cultural knowledge can see that it's actually a hookup group with some depth.
I created this group out of sheer boredom, and because of that, I put in the effort and time to make it somewhat
unique, devising various methods to attract members. The group quickly reached its 500-person limit. After
some filtering, I further clarified the group's theme: cuckoldry.
This theme was reflected in the female members, who were generally divided into two categories:
one group consisted of married women looking to try more exciting sexual practices online, such as SM or threesomes (
many of whom were actually unmarried); the other group consisted of couples looking for single men for threesomes, including those looking
for couples to engage in swapping.
While most QQ groups require standardized name tags, my "Panjiayuan" group was somewhat
unique. Based on the cuckoldry theme, I used gender-based labels like "single man" and "single woman," meaning anyone
could potentially meet up with anyone else. Even husbands who add ***** along with their wives are considered single men in the group because they also have
the desire and opportunity to sleep with other men's wives.
After clarifying the group's theme and further filtering, the male-to-female ratio was adjusted to approximately
1:1. This "Panjiayuan" QQ group I created evolved from an online group into a real-life group, now capable
of organizing real-life gatherings. I had attended several hookup group gatherings before, so I had some experience in this area. Since
my own group could organize gatherings, I devised a plan for organizing group gatherings and started organizing
them within the group.
My proposed model was a two-part format, with men splitting the cost. The first part involved finding
a suitable entertainment activity, eating, drinking, and having fun together, with some romantic activities. The second part was for those who
felt a connection with each other to meet privately during the activities. Strictly speaking, the first part was the group gathering, but the desired second part
was for arranging meetings during the first part. Since we're all online friends, meeting in person before hooking up is essential.
Meeting in a group setting makes it easier to find the right feeling. Most hookup-related dating groups follow this pattern.
During the 2014 Brazil World Cup, my "Panjiayuan" QQ group organized its first in-person
gathering. About fifteen or sixteen people attended, with a roughly two-to-one male-to-female ratio. Because it was during the World Cup, the first
gathering was held at a football club.
The dozen or so single men who attended naturally hoped for some exciting activities, and the five or six
single women who attended felt the same way. Since everyone felt the same way, they managed to get things going at the first gathering
.
The football club's private room had a mini indoor golf driving range. A
single woman with the online name "Meiji," who had lived in New York for over ten years and had played golf before (while no one else had), got into the mood
and, encouraged by the others, took off her clothes and taught everyone how to play golf.
The first gathering featured a passionate program, effectively turning my "Panjiayuan" QQ group into a
real-world group. However, organizing such gatherings was quite troublesome, and only a small number of people could attend. It wasn't until
six months after the first gathering that a second one was organized.
At the second group gathering in December, a beautiful woman in the group with the screen name "White Bird Beautiful Clothes" asked me to help her
exchange small denomination US dollars, which accidentally led to a "wife-cheating" scheme.

(Figure 302)
My family lived in a village and used to run a sword factory. The person who initially funded the factory was known in the village as
Uncle An, a retired primary school principal. Later, it became a shareholding village-run enterprise, and Uncle An remained
the factory manager. The factory, called the Sword and Knife Factory, produced all sorts of ancient weapons, of course, within the permitted scope of Fan Wei's domain
. Sales were quite good; when they received large orders, villagers, including children, would work at the factory—a far cry
from the farm work children used to do.
I've always had a knives-out talent for machinery. In second or third grade, I could modify the toy guns that kids played with back then into
homemade firearms for shooting birds. Around fourth grade, the village opened the sword and knife
factory. Weapons, broadly speaking, fall under the category of machinery, and since I had both talent and interest in this area, I often
worked at the factory. Uncle An, who ran the factory, was an expert in all the crafts of weapon making. Seeing
my talent, he took the initiative to teach me. By the time I was in eighth grade, I had become
a technician at the village's sword and knife factory, independently designing over ten unique weapons.
When I entered high school at the county's No. 1 High School, the village's sword factory closed down due to increasingly strict regulations on knives
. During my three years of junior high, I learned a great deal from An Erye,
gaining profound knowledge of ancient weaponry and rich practical experience. My understanding of ancient weaponry was professional-level. Ancient weapons belong to
the category of antiques, so since coming to Beijing for university, I often visited Panjiayuan Market. Of all the trades,
antiques are king. To get rich from collecting antiques, you not only need a discerning eye, but also
a lot of capital. I had a professional-level understanding of weaponry antiques, so naturally I thought about making money by reselling them. However, I
didn't have much money, and even though I understood weaponry antiques, I couldn't guarantee I wouldn't make a mistake. Buying fakes is
normal in the antique business; I could only do small-scale buying and selling. He's truly an expert in this field. I met
a wealthy man named Xu, a Cantonese chef who had become an American citizen. After making enough money, he returned to China to enjoy his later years and
had a passion for collecting antiques, especially weapons.
The essence of the antique trade, frankly, is deception, so in Panjiayuan, US dollars are far more
effective than RMB. This old Xu used US dollars, and I often helped him acquire some legitimate items. Every time I helped him get
something, he would give me US dollar cash at a 5:1 exchange rate, essentially an extra fee for my service, and he
always gave me small denomination dollars.
One year, before my exams ended and I had a break, I went to Panjiayuan every day. I saw a pair of plum blossom hammers on a stall,
items used for warding off evil spirits during the Qing Dynasty. I called old Xu, and after some haggling, I bought
the pair for him. It wasn't anything particularly valuable, but it was a rare find, the kind of item you only come across by luck. Old Xu
really liked it when he saw it, and I spent 20,000 yuan to buy it for him. That time, he gave me 5,000 US dollars at a 4:1 ratio
. The second group gathering in December was at a high-end billiards club. As the organizer of the gathering, I had to
book the private room in advance, so I arrived more than three hours early. The beautiful woman with the online name "White Bird Beauty" had taken the initiative
to organize the gathering for me, so she also arrived early.
This "White Bird Beauty" was a female submissive, a beauty like Liu Yan, with a pretty face, a
slender figure, and a pair of D-cup breasts. At that time, she was twenty-four or twenty-five years old, had just graduated from university, and was preparing
to get married. She had a lot of potential to be a cuckold. Because we had already established a SM master-slave
relationship online, she helped me organize the gathering.
Booking the private room required paying a portion of the money first, and "White Bird Beauty," who arrived with me earlier, saw that I
had quite a lot of US dollars in my bag. While we were chatting in the private room, waiting for the others to arrive, "Shiratori Meiyi" overheard
me casually mentioning that she had connections to exchange for US dollars. She said she was going to her boyfriend's hometown for the Lunar New Year and giving US dollars to a
certain person would be very prestigious, so she asked me to help her exchange $1,000.
I had all five thousand US dollars with me, so I immediately took out $1,000 and gave it to her. "Shiratori Meiyi" didn't
have that much cash on her, and since she was going to her boyfriend's house for the Lunar New Year and wouldn't be able to repay me for two or three months, she simply wrote me
an IOU for $1,000.
Of course, both amounts had to be written in her real name, and the repayment was in RMB, so
the exchange rate needed to be calculated. "Shiratori Meiyi" borrowed a calculator and did some calculations, then I gave her another two hundred US dollars in small bills, which she
wrote as an IOU for ten thousand RMB. The repayment period was three months, and she proactively included a monthly interest rate of 5%, so after
calculating the exchange rate and interest, it came to exactly ten thousand RMB. I didn't want any interest at all. It was like solving
a complicated math problem; I couldn't figure it out right away, so I just wrote the IOU.
Because it was before the Lunar New Year, the second gathering had almost twice as many people as the first, with over twenty
people in total. After the gathering officially started, "Shiratori Mei" intentionally
mentioned at the gathering that she needed my help to exchange US dollars. She even deliberately told the attendees that I had four thousand US dollars in my bag. After her
announcement, about ten people at the gathering asked me to help them exchange US dollars.
Since I could usually get Meizi (a type of woman) to help me, I exchanged the remaining four thousand US dollars on the spot.
More than half of the ten or so people who asked me to exchange US dollars didn't have enough cash on them. They needed to keep some for a second round of hotel rooms, and
it wasn't convenient to go out and withdraw money late at night. Since they wanted to make sure they would get paid afterward, they simply followed "Shiratori Mei's" pre-arranged
model and wrote me an IOU as well.
After several IOUs were written, "Shiratori Meiyi" jokingly said that a monthly interest rate of 5% was considered usury, and usurers
would calculate the interest from the outset. This remark naturally attracted followers. "Shiratori Meiyi," who actually enjoyed
playing erotic games, stripped naked in a billiards room and played with everyone as
payment for a month's interest.
"Shiratori Meiyi" essentially acted as a shill; several other single women who had asked me to exchange US dollars also
paid their interest in a similar manner. Thus, the non-existent interest became the pretext for these erotic games. Everyone
thought it was quite creative and needed a clear explanation, so I casually came up with the term "wife-cuckolding loan."

(Figure 303)
Cash US dollars, especially small denominations, are quite difficult to exchange through normal channels.
At the first group gathering at the end of the year, this "wife-cuckolding loan" was spontaneously arranged; in reality, I helped everyone exchange US
dollars. This news spread throughout the group, and the following year, many people asked me to help them exchange US dollars. As a result,
a third gathering was organized during the Lunar New Year. The so-called "cuckold loan" became a more passionate activity at this third gathering
.
At the third group gathering, those who asked me to help exchange US dollars gave me the corresponding amount on the spot
, some even signing a "cuckold loan" IOU. It was a casual game based on this established routine, with the content
written according to personal preferences. The main plot involved borrowing money at high interest rates and repaying the interest on the spot in a passionate manner.
There's a huge difference between thinking and doing. Many female members who longed to indulge in the fun at the gathering found it
difficult to actually take the first step. Writing a virtual "cuckold loan" IOU was essentially
giving themselves a psychological reason to indulge. The so-called repayment through cuckoldry was limited to
the level of a sexual game; with a reason, it was easy to do.
For example, a young couple in the group, the woman's online name was "Xiaomei," asked me to help them exchange
$100 in small bills. She gave me the money on the spot, but still wrote an IOU resembling a "cuckold loan," intending to repay
the interest through a "cuckold" scheme. Wearing a sexy lingerie set, she
took off her skirt and unbuttoned her top at a party in front of her husband, revealing her lingerie, and then performed a striptease and
sang several songs.
Because of this "cuckold loan" scheme, two parties were organized in a short period. Someone in the group
suggested: "The person 'lending' money to the single women is actually me, and the single women 'repaying the interest' is done
publicly. There should be a reason for lending money through 'cuckold loans.'"
To paraphrase a common phrase on the news, this suggestion was very constructive. The purpose of this "passionate"
scheme is to provide single women with a psychological excuse to indulge themselves. To achieve this
, it needs to feel real, so the money for the "wife-cheating loan" needs a plausible explanation.
I'm always quick-witted when it comes to frivolous things, so I immediately posted an announcement in the group, offering an
explanation: the money for the "wife-cheating loan" comes from the group's overall fund, collected from all the single men.
Every single woman in the group can borrow from the fund at a monthly interest rate of 5%. If she doesn't repay on time
, since the fund belongs to all male group members, she will have to repay it through "wife-cheating."
I just said it casually, but unexpectedly, the single men in the group actually participated in the fundraising, quickly raising over
ten thousand yuan.

(Figure 304) The so-called fundraising amount from the single men in the group, totaling less than three thousand yuan, was actually a response to my explanation
by posting group messages .
"White Bird Beauty," who was practically my online acquaintance, helped me organize two gatherings
and became the group's recognized assistant. At the time, I hadn't even activated WeChat, and she collected
the money sent by the single men and transferred the three thousand yuan to me. The reason we managed to raise over ten thousand yuan was
thanks to a single man nicknamed "Secretary Red," who reimbursed part of the expenses for the first three gatherings, effectively giving me over ten thousand yuan.
I gave him the nickname "Secretary Red" because he worked at the Beijing office of a city in southern China, specifically responsible
for entertaining and gift-giving. His official position wasn't secretary, but it was equivalent to one. I
named him after Secretary Hong from the TV series "Lurking." The Beijing office was an informal, special organization, and
anyone responsible for entertaining and gift-giving there had to be a confidant of the leadership. The recipients of these entertaining and gift-giving were high-ranking officials in Beijing, so reimbursing
ten thousand yuan was no problem.
The more than 10,000 yuan raised was indeed all in my hands, of course. I didn't mention it in the group
. None of the single men in the group who participated in the fundraising asked me to actually offer any "wife-cheating" services;
they just wanted to meet more married women through me, which was tantamount to them acknowledging my hard-earned money.
Creating a group of about 500 people was very time-consuming and energy-intensive, and organizing a real gathering was even more difficult.
The so-called 10,000 yuan raised was, in essence, earned through my hard work. However, feeling that everyone trusted me so much,
and feeling that making money this way wasn't entirely honorable, I didn't keep the money for myself. I used it all to continue organizing group gatherings
.
Money makes everything easier. With the so-called group fund of over 10,000 yuan, we could continue
the "wife-cheating" scheme. During the May Day holiday, we organized the fourth group gathering.
Secretary Hong had said beforehand that he would reimburse all future gathering expenses, so the fourth group gathering was held at
a very high-end KTV. Even though Secretary Hong could reimburse, the fee for each single man was still
to be charged on a split-the-bill basis, and it had increased to 500 yuan per person. Since there were nearly 300 male members in the group,
many more would come if the fee wasn't charged, making it impossible to organize a gathering.
At the fourth group gathering, no one asked me to exchange US dollars anymore. Continuing with the "sex loan" format, I
used the collected funds of over 10,000 yuan to buy gifts for the single women attending the gatherings. The initial intention was to create more excitement.
The gifts were actually given away for free, nominally purchased by the group admin. The single women who received gifts at the gatherings were asked to
write an IOU for the "sex loan," though whether or not to was voluntary.
For example, a young woman with the online name "BoBo" joined the group with her husband. Her husband wanted to find couples
to engage in swapping, while she preferred to arrange group sex alone—specifically, she would have sex with two or three men. Therefore, she always
attended the gatherings alone and asked me to secretly arrange two more for her. At the fourth group gathering, I gave
"BoBo" a few pieces of sexy lingerie, which she wore and showed off at the gathering. Later, at
two private gatherings I arranged for her, she would wear the lingerie to engage in group sex.

(Picture 305)
The first so-called group fund was raised, and it was all spent at the fourth group gathering. However,
"Secretary Red" reimbursed all the expenses for the gatherings, and I received about 10,000 yuan in donations, which essentially went to me.
After the fourth gathering, more than a dozen single men continued to participate in the fundraising, quickly raising over 20,000 yuan.
I created this "Panjiayuan" QQ group in the autumn of 2013. The first group gathering was
during the 2014 World Cup, and the fourth was during the 2015 May Day holiday. Only
four gatherings were organized in one year; such group gatherings are actually very difficult to organize. The male-to-female ratio in the group is roughly 1:1.
There are fewer than thirty single women who have attended four in-person gatherings. Many more single women haven't
attended gatherings, not because they don't want to, but because they have various reservations about participating in group gatherings—after all, it's essentially a hookup
group.
The fifth group gathering is estimated to be organized around October 1st. Since we've raised over ten thousand
yuan, I simply posted an announcement in the group saying that we've indeed raised a group fund, but I didn't specify the exact amount
or who contributed. This expanded the already established practice of "wife-cheating loans" to all
the single women in the group.
Previously, the so-called "wife-cheating loans" were limited to the single women attending the gatherings; now it's expanded to everyone in the group.
There are many single women in the group, and even more who haven't attended the group gatherings, making the specific methods of this "wife-cheating" scheme even more
diverse.
For example, a single woman in the group with the screen name "Cuizhu" really wanted to attend the gatherings, but various concerns
prevented her from coming. This summer, she was going on a trip abroad and needed to exchange $500 in small bills. She asked me for help, first
writing me an IOU with a 5% monthly interest rate, and then mailing it to me. I then had
someone she had met privately in the group deliver the $500 to her. She didn't actually borrow money from me, but with
this IOU, she was determined to attend the next gathering.
For example, a young woman with the online name "Keke" was a woman who loved group sex. She
became pregnant shortly after joining the group and wanted to take a series of photos during her pregnancy. When I found out, I gave her a ***** (actually
a $50 coin). After receiving the money, she wrote a public "sex loan IOU," which stated that
the interest would be paid by posting many censored photos of her during her pregnancy in the group for everyone to
enjoy. Each photo was worth one dollar.

(Figure 306)
Money makes things easier, but when money is involved, even those who don't intend to will stir up
trouble.
The so-called group fund and "sex loan" are just tricks to create excitement; most people in the group understand this, and
there is no real group fund. However, a small group of people, blinded by greed, anger, and lust, genuinely believe
they have a large group fund.
Fifteen years ago, before the National Day holiday, I lent out another 20,000 yuan that I had raised, intending
to organize the fifth group gathering during the holiday. However, due to a member of the group who was obsessed with personal matters, I
reported the group to Tencent's official channels with strong evidence, and the group was suddenly banned by the system.
All nearly 500 group members were added to the QQ account I created for the group, and I could easily create a new group, but with this
obsessed member lurking in the middle, creating a new group would definitely result in another ban. I had no choice but to temporarily
explain to everyone on QQ that the so-called group fund for lending money to women was actually a contribution from the single men in the group, and there
was no such thing as borrowing and repaying. I said that the group would definitely be created again after being banned, but I needed to lay low for a few days.
Everyone knew that it was this obsessed member who reported it, and they all understood and complied with my explanation.
I had everything planned out, but after more than a month, just as I was starting to rebuild the group,
the incident of Di Jiao's fall occurred. Recalling my own experience during my first year of university, I became pessimistic throughout my studies and naturally
lost all interest in creating any more hookup groups. On the eighth day of the second lunar month at the beginning of the new semester the following year, I received 2.56 million yuan "gifted" by Di Jiao
. Afterwards, I secretly investigated clues about the true cause of Di Jiao's death, and naturally, I was even less concerned about creating any
groups.
Thinking back to the "Panjiayuan" group I had previously created, and remembering how I had used that 2.5 million yuan to lend money at high interest rates in university,
more than half a year later, I logged back into the QQ account I used to create the group, only to find that because I hadn't logged in for over six months, the
QQ account with the auspicious number segment had been reclaimed by the system.
Since I hadn't planned to create any more groups anyway, and the QQ account I used to create the group was gone, I didn't want to contact any of my former group members anymore
. However, this made me realize that I only have two QQ accounts left, both used for SM dating and
other online activities. One corresponds to my undergraduate identity, and the other to my graduate student identity. Now that I
'm a graduate student, I simply abandoned the QQ account with the username "Chenfeng" and transferred the online
contacts I wanted to keep in touch with, such as Brother Yu and Sister Miao, to another QQ account with the username "Mumu," essentially merging my two online
identities into one.
Hoping that the investigation into Di Jiao's death would be launched as soon as possible, knowing it wouldn't be until after summer vacation at the earliest, I busied myself with
the preliminary planning for my high-interest loan scheme.
Mainly, I rented two apartments; of the 2.56 million yuan, I'd already spent over 100,000 yuan. Using my 1988
ID card, I deposited 2 million yuan into the bank, opened a large-customer online banking card, and activated
Alipay. The platform for high-interest loans on university campuses was now set up.
High-interest loans on university campuses had become a widespread phenomenon. The root cause lies in
the widespread adoption of Alipay and WeChat Pay, two major virtual payment platforms, and the online consumption directly linked to them. This has led university
students, who have no income yet, to engage in overspending prematurely, and various online lending platforms have seized the opportunity to enter campuses. For example, Alipay's
"Campus Diary" was designed to attract students to borrow money. Students' money is the easiest to earn,
especially high-interest loans. Without relevant regulations, it would be strange if high-interest loans on university campuses weren't widespread.
My proposed model for high-interest lending on universities involves using Alipay as a platform for borrowing and repayment,
lending money to fellow students through unseen online channels at a monthly interest rate of 5%, calculated monthly without compounding,
and providing loan receipts online. As a loan shark born in 1988, I wouldn't need to appear publicly;
neither would I, born in 1992—just distributing small advertisements would suffice.
Legally, loans with an annual interest rate exceeding 36% are considered usurious. Nowadays, various online lending platforms
charge fees and late payment charges, resulting in actual interest rates far exceeding this standard. For example, Ping
An Credit, which has been exposed multiple times, has an actual annual interest rate exceeding 200%. Unsecured loans with a monthly interest rate of 5% and no compounding interest are considered incredibly
generous high-interest loans; they're so popular that people rush to borrow as soon as they advertise them.
My creative investment immediately proved to be very correct. After distributing small advertisements around campus,
I lent out over 500,000 yuan in less than a week, and this was selective lending. The second week, I received my
first return: a student who borrowed 10,000 yuan repaid the full amount in less than ten days, earning me 1,000
yuan in interest.
With a smooth start and some experience, I lent out the remaining less than 1.5 million yuan in a week. In
early July, just before summer vacation, I found the phone number of "White Bird Beauty," and after almost a year, I
reconnected with my online slave, becoming her partner in campus high-interest lending.
The woman in Liu Yan's "White Bird Dress" is actually named Qian Meiyi. She said in the group chat that she was twenty-four or twenty-five years old.
I recently graduated from university and started working. I have a boyfriend but we're not married yet; I'm actually a married woman in my thirties
working at a bank.
Since it's a university-affiliated loan sharking operation, I decided from the beginning to play it safe by only using the initial 2 million yuan
for lending. The money earned from the interest was transferred from the lending platform's Alipay account and kept on hand for immediate spending.
The Alipay account, used for lending, was opened with an ID card from 1988, and I needed to transfer about 100,000 yuan every month to
an account opened with an ID card from 1992. It was necessary to find a professional to help. Qian Meiyi, who works at a bank,
was an ideal partner. I met with her again and frankly discussed the project I wanted to collaborate on.
University loan sharking had become widespread, and Qian Meiyi was naturally happy to participate in something that offered easy money.
We discussed the details and agreed on a 20/80 profit split. Since I was the one providing the money and the legwork, she would only provide the easy
technical services. Qian Meiyi and I successfully became partners. Having become business partners, Qian Meiyi went from being my
online slave to my real-life slave; in fact, she was my first real-life female submissive.

(Figure 307)
On the second day of the official summer vacation, Teacher Ji quietly told me that the police had begun
an investigation based on the clues she provided, but it was estimated that a criminal review of Di Jiao's death would not be possible until the start of the next academic year. Teacher Ji also
solemnly reminded me to pretend that I had not participated in this matter, not to mention it to anyone, and not to inquire about the progress.
I fully understood Teacher Ji's good intentions. I could have plenty of time to lend money at high interest rates and train Qian Meiyi after I started graduate school. I returned
the two apartments I had rented, packed my things, and went home. Following Teacher Ji's advice, I pretended that I had not participated
in this matter, enjoyed a carefree summer vacation at home, and happily returned to school to study for my master's degree.
In September of 2016, I finished my undergraduate studies a year early and officially became a master's student, still studying
law. The loan sharking business, which had been operating at high interest rates, became even more profitable with the addition of a beautiful assistant,
generating an income of 70,000 to 80,000 yuan per month. With revenge for Di Jiao on the horizon, I rediscovered my motivation to study law and began my postgraduate studies with renewed enthusiasm
.
After the National Day holiday, the moment I had been eagerly anticipating for half a year finally arrived. The criminal investigation department
launched a reinvestigation into Di Jiao's death. Gao Ming, Lao Tao, and Fang Xiaodong were immediately summoned for questioning
. Although they returned to school within two days, they remained under surveillance. Although Di Jiao had been dead for nearly a year, based on the strong leads provided by Professor Ji, the criminal investigation department had already established that Gao Ming, Lao Tao, and Fang Xiaodong were highly suspected of murdering Di Jiao before their
reinvestigation of the incident . With a clear investigative target from the outset, the reinvestigation progressed very smoothly. In less than half a month, the criminal investigation department found more evidence, and Gao Ming, Lao Tao, and Fang Xiaodong were summoned again, this time directly to the detention center for questioning. I first heard from Professor Ji that Gao Ming, Lao Tao, and Fang Xiaodong had been detained, and I was so excited I cried and laughed like a madman. However, to my complete surprise, these three lads were released after less than a week in detention, and the criminal review of Di Jiao's death ended abruptly and inexplicably. Professor Ji, out of concern for my safety, wouldn't let me inquire too much about the reasons for the sudden halt in the review; she wouldn't tell me no matter what. She gave me a Swiss mechanical watch, comforted me at length, and solemnly assured me that she would never give up on this matter and would do her utmost to push for a reinvestigation. She repeatedly told me to focus on my graduate studies and not get involved in this anymore. After nearly a year of eager anticipation, this was the result. Di Jiao had conditionally "gifted" 2.56 million yuan, which she had invested in loan sharking. She hadn't fulfilled her promise to return the money, but it was impossible to do so. Gao Ming, Lao Tao, and Fang Xiaodong, those three lads, had just been released from detention and were already ruthlessly retaliating against students they suspected of reporting them. It seemed unlikely they would be investigated again. The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. I secretly gritted my teeth and decided to avenge Di Jiao myself. But I couldn't act impulsively to get revenge on the sons of three school leaders. After making up my mind, I first secretly began preparations. In the urban village where I had previously rented a place, I rented another secluded apartment, bought a Swedish-made military-grade mountain bike, and hid in the rented apartment. I made several weapons, heavily modified the mountain bike, and used the homemade weapons as decorations on the bicycle. Being able to work as a technician in a sword factory in my second year of junior high, making a few easily concealed cold weapons, wasn't too difficult for me. However, it took me more than a month to finish making this armored bicycle, and it was already December. Weapons are used by people, especially cold weapons, which require not only skillful use but also a suitable physique. Fortunately, Qian Meiyi had been consistently working out and was a part-time instructor at a gym. In early December, I bought a gym membership at the gym where she worked, and while diligently exercising, I secretly practiced making several weapons. (Figure 308) Under Qian Meiyi's guidance, I maintained a high-intensity workout for a month, feeling that my physique was almost ready. Just as I was preparing to carry out my revenge, on January 2nd, a major murder case suddenly occurred at the new campus of R University. Three female students were brutally murdered in a newly constructed building where construction had been suspended for winter. The three murdered girls came from different departments and grades, were all very beautiful, came from wealthy families, and were well-known on campus. The murderer's method of killing the three female students was cruel and unusual. He first abducted the three victims to an empty building, then used steel plates and iron pipes found at the construction site to improvise a large, makeshift guillotine , and beheaded each of them one by one. A major murder occurred on the university campus, and the police quickly established a special task force to investigate. Because the crime took place in an empty building where construction had been suspended, news of the crime was kept under control to the greatest extent possible, preventing widespread panic on campus. However, some information still reached the students, and these isolated pieces of information were more easily distorted.

A male student majoring in journalism at the School of Media and Communication, upon hearing only two untrue details about the campus murder case—
"the murdered girls were all beautiful" and "the killer used a giant guillotine"—generated
a completely unrelated name for the case
: "The Serial Guillotine Case." He also dubbed the killer "Guillotine Killer." He even
copied a short excerpt from the novel *Psychological Crime* and posted it on his Weibo and WeChat groups.
With the widespread use of Weibo and WeChat, more and more people have lost the desire to read long articles,
only interested in short posts that can garner comments. This second-year journalism student,
unaware of the original *Guillotine Case*, spread his fabricated "Serial Guillotine Case" and "Guillotine Killer" story across the entire campus within a day
. Fortunately, the fabrication was so absurd that it didn't cause panic among the students. This brain-dead sophomore was quickly
found to be the one spreading rumors. He was not only expelled from school but also placed under criminal detention.
My planned revenge had to be temporarily abandoned due to this sudden campus murder, waiting for
the police to solve the case first. The special investigation team stayed at the school for several days, but failed to solve the case by the time winter break started. Unable to
prevent students from going home for the New Year, they had to withdraw from the campus, claiming it was the work of a transient criminal. Obviously
, they wouldn't come back to the campus to solve the case when school started again next year.
Gao Ming, Lao Tao, and Fang Xiaodong were all investigated immediately, and it was verified that none of them had the time to commit the crime
and were not the murderer in the case at the beginning of the year. Originally, Teacher Ji was afraid I would cause trouble and urged me to go home after the exams.
The target of my revenge suddenly became unclear, so I had no choice but to go home first.
After returning to school after the New Year, I couldn't concentrate on my studies at all. The more I thought about it, the more I felt that
the four female students who died under suspicious circumstances in the law school that year—Di Jiao and the three murdered girls—were likely all murdered, possibly
by the same killer. In other words, there might be a serial killer on the new campus of R University. I was just intuitively and
subjectively thinking this way. Because I couldn't return the more than 2.5 million yuan to Di Jiao, I launched another
covert investigation based on my intuition.
I spent almost the entire year of 2017 secretly investigating, and it seemed that only my suspicions about a possible campus
serial killer existed. I didn't find any direct clues, but at least I became more convinced of my belief, and I had a very
big unexpected gain: I developed SM relationships, both online and in real life, with the sexy mothers of several beautiful female students.
Before I knew it, it was 2018, and I subconsciously felt a murderous aura. I felt that at least the
campus serial killer I suspected might be about to strike again, because the two murders I believed in both
occurred before the winter break.
