Words: 5277 Late that night, or more precisely, early the next morning, in the vast darkness, a nimble, high-powered speedboat sailed upstream along a tributary of the border river. The noise of its silenced engine was drowned out by the rushing water. Soon, the speedboat silently docked at the foot of a dark cliff on the west bank of a river tributary. A group of more than ten people quietly disembarked and, guided by their on-shore support, followed an almost invisible mountain path into the depths of the mountains. As dawn broke, the group finally arrived at the massive waterfall in three off-road vehicles, following the mountain trail . The group was led by Du Mai, the leader of the KS Army, along with eight fully armed bodyguards (four men and four women) carrying communication equipment, and two attendants. They had been blindfolded when they boarded the vehicle in the mountains and were now being led by the man who had come to meet them, carefully making their way along a hidden stone platform behind the waterfall. A dozen minutes later, Du Mai and his group arrived at the huge cave hidden behind the waterfall. Inside the cave, the man who had led the way removed the blindfolds from Du Mai and the others, politely leading them to a comfortable room near the entrance to rest, before hurrying deeper into the cave. A short while later, the man accompanied two sleepy-eyed men into the reception room. The one limping in front was Meng Chong, followed by A Jian. Mengchong greeted Dumai with a beaming smile, "General, you must be tired from your journey. Please come inside and rest for a while..." Dumai looked at Mengchong with a half-smile, "No need, business is more important." "Then at least have breakfast first. I'll have them prepare it right away." Mengchong said, turning to find someone. Dumai frowned and said in a deep voice, "Brother, we've been traveling all night, we didn't come here for coffee." Mengchong turned back, his eyes darting around, "Brother, you're right... you're right... the General means to see..." Dumai didn't speak, but nodded heavily, a concerned look involuntarily appearing in his eyes. Mengchong glanced at Dumai, a smug look flashing across his face. He spread his hands and said to Dumai, "General, please." Mengchong, Ajian, and several men led Dumai out of the reception room. Du Mai left his four male bodyguards and male attendant in the reception room, and led his four female bodyguards and the female attendant deeper into the cave. Meng Chong led the group to an inconspicuous small door at the end of a side path deep inside the cave, and pressed his thumb on the verification device next to the door. The door clicked open. Meng Chong turned back and gestured "please" to Du Mai, then limped in with A Jian . Du Mai followed the two into the small room, leaving his four bodyguards and the attendant outside. The small room was a suite, and in the outer room, a bearded man was half-reclining on the sofa. Seeing Meng Chong and the others enter, the bearded man rubbed his sleepy eyes and stood up. Mengchong winked at him and asked, "How's Fengnu?" The bearded man grinned and gestured towards the wooden door of the inner room, saying, "Very well-behaved, slept soundly all night without making a sound." Mengchong nodded, peeked into the room through the small window in the iron door, took the key from the bearded man , opened the iron door, and nodded to Du Mai, who was following behind. Du Mai strode into the room impatiently, his eyes wide open. There was only a narrow single bed in the room, with thick iron railings welded to all four sides. A person lay on the bed, covered with a white sheet, only a head of messy black hair showing. Hearing someone enter the room, the person on the bed remained motionless, like a lifeless piece of wood. Du Mai stood in front of the bed, stunned. Mengchong came up from behind and reached out to pull back the sheet. Under the sheet lay a completely naked body, lying on its side facing the wall. The moment the sheet was pulled back, the naked body trembled slightly, but remained still. Meng Chong chuckled, grabbed the rounded shoulder beside him , and pulled hard, turning the naked body onto its back. It was Manfeng. Du Mai saw Manfeng, his lips moved, but he said nothing. He clearly saw that Manfeng's right hand and right foot were handcuffed, the gleaming cuffs firmly fastened to the heavy bed frame. Manfeng could only lie flat on her back or on her right side; she couldn't even get up to urinate. Manfeng was completely naked except for a small pair of underwear. She lay on the bed silently, her eyes slightly closed. Clearly, she had noticed Du Mai. Mengchong noticed Manfeng's nervous expression. He grinned mischievously, grabbed her only piece of clothing—her panties—and pulled them down, exposing her lower body. Manfeng's naked body trembled involuntarily, instinctively pressing her long, slender legs tightly together . Mengchong's lips curled into a smirk. He grabbed one of Manfeng's ankles and lifted it up, pulling down the panties covering her calf. Then, with a flick of his wrist, Manfeng's legs were spread wide apart, her weathered lower body completely exposed. Mengchong turned to Dumai and chuckled, gesturing towards Manfeng's spread legs. Dumai couldn't help but glance quickly , finding Manfeng's lower body clean and spotless, without any stains. The entrance to her vulva, hidden beneath the dark pubic hair, even glistened with moisture, showing no abnormalities except for its purplish-black color. Dumai subconsciously sniffed and let out a long sigh. Mengchong smiled mysteriously, casually put down Manfeng's leg, took a step forward, and stretched out his hairy hand to lewdly brush over Manfeng's full breasts, slowly tracing down her white belly until he reached her slightly swollen stomach. He spread his fingers and pressed hard, smirking, "Fengnu, you've stored up quite a bit tonight . You're itching to go, aren't you?" He then beckoned to the door, and the bearded man who had been standing outside quickly approached. Mengchong deliberately ignored Du Mai standing behind him, pointed at Manfeng lying on the bed, and said, "Quickly let Fengnu get down and relieve herself, don't let her get itching to go."

The bearded man nodded repeatedly, quickly opened the iron bars on the outside of the small bed, took out a key from his pocket, bent down
and unlocked the end of the handcuffs on Manfeng's right wrist that were fastened to the bed frame. He grabbed her free left hand, pulled it behind her back,
and snapped Manfeng's wrists together. Then he unlocked the handcuffs on her feet. After doing
all this, he grabbed Manfeng's arm and pulled hard, turning her naked body around so she sat naked
on the bed.
The bearded man stretched out his foot and hooked an enamel basin from under the bed. He patted Manfeng's naked body, pointed to
the enamel basin on the ground, and said, "Fengnu, what are you standing there for? Didn't you hear the boss's orders? Hurry up, get out of bed and
fetch water!"
Manfeng lowered her head, letting her thick black hair cover most of her face, and obediently replied, "Yes...
" before standing up. Then, under the watchful eyes of several men, he slowly bent over and squatted
over the enamel basin. After a few awkward seconds of silence, a rushing sound of water filled the room, and a hot, pungent odor
filled the cramped space.
Mengchong frowned and pinched his nose, while Du Mai, standing not far from the doorway, looked increasingly grim.
Almost simultaneously with the sound of rushing water, Du Mai snorted angrily, turned and left through
the small door without a word.
Mengchong and A Jian exchanged a glance, then abandoned Manfeng and followed him out. Mengchong walked to Du Mai's side, looked
at his expression, and, as if nothing had happened, chuckled and accompanied him out of the cell, walking down the corridor towards his own
quarters.
As Mengchong walked, he stole glances at Dumai's face. Seeing his serious expression, he deliberately chuckled and said, "General,
you truly keep your word. You must have good news to share this time."
Dumai snorted, "Good news? This little mess of yours almost caused
me to fall out with the clan leader."
"No way, General, you're of high rank and great power. This little matter is just a matter of a word."
As they spoke, they had already reached the door of Mengchong's residence. Mengchong gestured for the general and the female attendant to follow
him and Ajian inside, while the others remained outside.
After they were seated, Mengchong didn't rush to ask Dumai about his decision. Instead, he busied himself serving him
coffee. Dumai looked at his attentive manner and sighed, "Alright, stop busying yourself. Let's get down to business. I've
finally managed to get things sorted out for you after a lot of effort. You can move into Qinhangou."
"What, Qinhangou?" Mengchong was taken aback.
Du Mai waved his hand, and the female attendant stepped forward, pulled a map from her handbag,
unfolded it in front of Mengchong and Ajian, and pointed out the location of a small ravine with practiced ease.
Mengchong was still carefully examining the map, but Ajian didn't even glance at it, nodding repeatedly: "Good, excellent!
Thank you, General, Qinhan Gully is definitely an ideal place to settle down."
Mengchong looked up at Ajian curiously, and Ajian quickly gave him a wink. Mengchong looked at the map carefully again,
and then suddenly realized. Qinhan Gully was actually located behind the mountains north of Lachong, where the SK Independent Army headquarters was located. Although the ravine
was not large, it was located in the heart of the SK Independent Army, and was indeed a safe haven. In fact, Mengchong was ignorant. Ajian, who had traveled all over the country, knew that Qinhan Gully was a household name
in northern Hebei and the surrounding areas.
The SK Independent Army's controlled area borders the T country to the north, and Qinhan Gully
is not far from the border between the two countries. Long ago, a T country emperor and his royal family suffered hardship here, hence
the unique name.
A-Jian knew that this small gully was adjacent to Lachong, located in the heart of the SK Independent Army's territory. He
looked at Du-Mai with some disbelief: "Are you really letting us go to Qinhan Gully?"
Du-Mai nodded seriously: "That's right. I've shown the utmost sincerity; are you satisfied now
?"
"What are the conditions?" Mengchong finally woke up to reality. There's no such thing as a free lunch. Du-Mai's persuasion of the K
tribe leaders to allow them into such a strategically important place as Qinhan Gully wouldn't be without conditions.
Du Mai squinted and nodded, giving him a "you're smart" look. "The condition is simple: Manfeng lets me
take her away. However, if you come over, we only welcome people; nothing else is welcome."
"This..." Meng Chong and A Jian both frowned in unison, taking a while to understand. Mengchong
scratched his head and grinned at Dumai, "Brother, we certainly won't move our whole house there, but you can't expect us
to go there naked, can you?"
Dumai remained stern, "You definitely can't move all your belongings over. However, if
you really want to go, here's a small token of my appreciation: Mengchong and your boss can each take a
weapon for self-defense. As for the rest of the brothers, forget it. You should know that we have mobile forces protecting the entire headquarters there
, so you twenty or thirty of you don't need to worry about your safety at all."
"Just two pistols?" Mengchong clicked his tongue, "If something happens, our brothers
will be unarmed and won't be able to help you at all!"
Dumai smiled slightly, "As I said before, we have enough troops there, so you don't need to
worry about safety, brother..."
A-Jian frowned slightly upon hearing Dumai's words. He had long heard that the KS Independent Army
had stationed a main brigade of troops in the Qinhan Valley area , not only to ensure the safety of the headquarters, but also as the K tribe's strategic reserve
force. The implications of a group of unarmed sheep living alongside a pack of tigers were self-evident
.
Before A-Jian could speak, Du Mai interjected, "Oh, right, one more thing. If you and Boss Long bring
the brothers over to visit, you can't wander around. Stay within the camp we've arranged for you.
If you want to go out, be sure to let us know in advance to avoid misunderstandings."
"Isn't this like putting us in jail? To put it bluntly, it's like switching places between the brothers and Feng Nu!"
Meng Chong complained. A-Jian gave Meng-Chong a timely wink, then softened his tone and said to Du-Mai,
"General, we are very grateful to the KS Independent Army for taking us in and choosing such a safe place for us
. Before I came here, Master Long specifically instructed that everything be done according to the General's arrangements. All equipment and heavy weapons..."
"No, we won't bring it. We absolutely won't cause the general any trouble."
Seeing Du Mai nod, A Jian smiled bitterly and said, "However, the general knows that we
brothers are in a dangerous business, and we can't sleep without our weapons. So we hope the general will show leniency and
allow each of us to carry a weapon, even if it's a short weapon. Also, please allow us to come and go freely,
and don't restrict our movements. That's all we ask for; we beg the general to be lenient."
Du Mai glanced at A Jian, frowned, and said to Du Mai, "'How can one sleep soundly beside another'?" "Brother ,
you should understand this. Last time I suggested you settle in Wanmang and do whatever you want, but you disagreed
, saying it was like playing with fire. I went to great lengths to persuade the clan elders to allow you
to settle in Qinhangou. But you should know, if a few dozen
armed outsiders appear in a place like Qinhangou, how can we sleep soundly? Even agreeing to let you brothers bring two guns was just my personal gesture;
I don't know how much persuasion I'll have to go through with the elders when I get back..."
"General, what A-Jian just said was my elder brother's intention. That's all we ask for. If you agree,
we won't push our luck. Please, General, be lenient. Besides, we only need this place as a precaution
; we might not actually go there to bother you. If you just nod, Feng Nu, you can take her away immediately. If you really
have difficulties, we'll have to make other plans."
Meng Chong's words, half-rogue and half-threat, made Du Mai's face turn very ugly. Seeing that Du Mai
was about to explode, A-Jian quickly stepped in to smooth things over: "Alright, General, think it over again, and plead with
your elders for us brothers. Even if a deal falls through, we can still be friends. Regardless of whether this matter can be settled, we are still business partners
. We have a large batch of goods prepared here; why don't we discuss shipping them first? What do you think?"
A-Jian's words gradually calmed Du Mai down. He glanced at A-Jian, then at Meng-Chong, and waved his hand, saying,
"Alright, let's go check on your goods first."
At this very moment, hundreds of miles away in WY City, chaos reigned. The parliamentary
debate on the confidence vote against the Ang Pan government had entered a fierce, close-quarters phase. Members of parliament from both sides took turns speaking, their words sizzling
, creating a tense standoff.
Compared to the sharp offensive of the National Party, the ruling coalition appeared somewhat flustered.
Leaders from the major parties mobilized, lobbying the leaders of smaller parties within the coalition to try and salvage their position. Although
clearly at a disadvantage in the parliamentary debate, they hadn't collapsed and had even successfully used procedural rules to postpone the vote several times
.
Now, the vote was scheduled for the following day; all possible excuses and tactics for delaying
had been exhausted, and it seemed there was no longer any way to postpone it. Early in the morning, the three leaders of the ruling coalition gathered again at
Himani's private residence, nervously calculating and assessing the possible election results while discussing countermeasures.
Another person also attended this gathering was Sutin. Himani's invitation to him was also deliberate.
In that strictly sealed-off private room, the three leaders and Sutin were having a secret conversation. Himani seriously asked Sutin:
"You are all aware of the current situation outside. With your insight, is it possible to find any weakness in the Sivan family
and deliver a surprise blow?"
The deeper meaning behind Himani's words was clear to everyone present; Sutin had surprised them quite a bit over the past two years
. This time, however, Su Ting shook his head decisively: "We don't have many good cards to play right now. The only
card with any weight is the child of unknown origin that Sawa's daughter-in-law just gave birth to. But this little secret involves
the Xiwan family's affairs after all, and frankly, I'm not optimistic that it will have any decisive impact on the political situation. However, this card is not useless. Keeping it in hand and waiting for a good opportunity, if used properly, might even save someone's life
at a critical moment ." "Can't we do something about other people?" Ang Pan asked unwillingly. Su Ting shook his head: "After the Sawa car accident, the Xiwan family significantly strengthened security measures for important figures. I 've had people carefully tracking and observing them for a long time, and it's difficult to find any loopholes. Besides, in this situation under public scrutiny, even if we had the opportunity, we couldn't act; otherwise, it would be like inviting trouble. It's a pity that after the border river tragedy, we couldn't contact Long Kun; otherwise, perhaps… " Hearing Su Ting's words, the three bigwigs sighed silently. (To be continued)
