My wife's recent experience

My wife's second boyfriend, T, contacted her a while ago, saying he was coming to the US for a trip and wanted to see her
. My wife asked for my opinion, because I know she still feels somewhat guilty towards him. He helped her through her most
difficult time, but ended up heartbroken. Knowing this, I supported my wife in letting him host
her.
He came to the US last week and spent a few days sightseeing with a tour group in the vicinity. On the weekend, he took his wife out for dinner
and some shopping nearby. His wife, slightly excited, dressed up in the morning, determined to look like her
former goddess. She wore a dress, elegant and beautiful. The following account is what she later
recounted to me.
His wife drove to his hotel, picked him up, and gave him a hug upon their first meeting.
They hadn't seen each other in a long time, so naturally there was a lot of small talk, but his wife could still feel his care. He seemed
unchanged over the years, still a young man. He told his wife, "You're still the same person I know."
After exchanging pleasantries in the hotel lobby for a while, his wife suggested they go shopping while it was still relatively quiet. So, the two drove
to Outlet Mall to shop. On the way, they chatted about their recent lives and the past. Talking about the past and their
shared memories, he became quite emotional, unconsciously touching his wife's hand. She naturally pulled her hand back
, but a slight smile appeared on her face. While shopping, he looked at clothes and asked his wife to help him choose. After looking at them, he
remarked, "This is so much like our old days," to which his wife smiled.
