Does getting a tan mean women won't like you anymore?

I graduated from university at the end of June this year with a major in landscape design. I'm currently working as a construction worker on a construction site. I started my internship in April and went back to school to get my diploma after almost two months. During that time, I had an affair with a couple (I won't go into the specific project, as my brother and sister-in-law asked me to keep it confidential). My sister-in-law said I'd gotten darker, which is true. I'm exposed to the wind and sun every day at the construction site. Some of the people I work with graduated last year and have gotten darker in just one year. Some of the older workers have even turned into Africans. Is it true that women won't like me if my skin gets darker? Will it be easier for me to find a wife in the future?
