Aunt and Nephew

I am a college student, but because of family rules, I have become a different person.
The changes in my family began with the death of my uncle, who had always been very good to me, as had my aunt. But tragedy struck; my uncle succumbed to illness. I was only nineteen at the time. According to family custom, after a man dies, the surviving woman and child remain in the family, to be given to a man in another family. Ideally, the man should be single and at least eighteen. The family chose me, and my aunt tacitly agreed. She was around forty years old then.
My family owns two houses, one of which was given to us. According to family custom, I have to call my aunt "auntie-in-law," and she has to call me "nephew-in-law"! I also have a twelve-year-old brother who calls me "brother-in-law"! And so we lived as a family of three!
The house was very small, just one room, only 27 square meters. So, my aunt, my younger brother, and I slept in the same room. There was a bunk bed; my brother slept on the top, and my aunt and I slept on the double bed below. At first, I was very uncomfortable, and I could tell my aunt was uncomfortable too.
