Teacher, old man

I live in a small city, maybe a fifth or sixth tier.

The old man I'm about to tell you about is quite old; he's a teacher, and so is his wife, so they're a family with a scholarly tradition.

They have four sons. The eldest son became mentally unstable at a young age due to relationship problems, and none of the other three sons inherited his academic talent.

When I was a kid, they had a Little Tyrant game console, and I often went to their house to play games with his sons.

One time, I went to their house again, went straight to the second floor, and found the door closed but unlocked, so I just opened it.

Inside, the old man was watching DVDs. I glanced at it, and lo and behold, it was a pornographic disc! He immediately sent me away when he saw me come in.

That was my first impression of him. Later, as I grew older, I heard rumors that he frequently went to prostitutes, and that's when I realized he was a lecherous old man.

Until this year, when I went back to my hometown, a few older women came to visit. They started talking about him (my parents run a small shop in our hometown, and neighbors often come to chat). I'm almost thirty, and they didn't shy away from the topic, talking about the old man. Actually, they were just relaying and analyzing what the old man's daughter-in-law had told them in casual conversation.

She said that one night, his second son's wife went to the toilet. Coming back from the three-story house in the countryside, the son and daughter-in-law's room was in the middle, and the old man lived in the front room facing the street, with another room at the back near the toilet.

Before she even reached the middle, the old man suddenly jumped out and hugged her. The old man was quite strong, while his daughter-in-law was rather thin; she was a woman from another province whom her son had brought back from working away from home. She wasn't particularly beautiful, but she was slender. This hug probably startled her, and she didn't resist. When she realized it was her father-in-law, she immediately started struggling and screamed. The whole family was woken up, and then they all knew what had happened: the son had hit the old man.

According to the older women, he had tried to touch her, but hadn't succeeded.

Therefore, some people are truly hypocritical; they preach and educate students while their own lives are a mess, truly tarnishing the reputation of the teaching profession.
