Four key factors for success
: First, people who want to make friends generally have a certain economic foundation; it's unrealistic to talk about it with someone who's "strapped for food tomorrow."
Second, couples who propose making friends together must have a very loving relationship.
Third, based on a loving marriage, couples who have lived together for a long time are so familiar with each other that they feel like one person. To use a joke, "touching your wife's hand is like touching your left hand with your right—you don't feel anything."
Fourth, when the level of familiarity between couples reaches its peak, and it becomes a "task" to maintain a normal marital relationship, a latent desire for making friends arises in both partners.
When multiple couples gather together, they should have met most of the above four conditions. So why do so many couples still fail to achieve their goal? There are three main misconceptions:
1. Incorrect positioning. You often set your standards for finding friends as if you were looking for a marriage partner. You pay close attention to the other person's age, appearance, economic status, etc. You forget that this may just be a friend, not your lifelong spouse.
2. Incorrect methods. Many friends who contact me on QQ often start by asking a barrage of questions, sometimes without even a greeting, and then frequently turn on video chat, trying to force me to accept their advances. Put yourself in their shoes; how would you treat someone like that? Therefore, if you genuinely want to communicate with someone, you should first properly introduce yourself. Don't expect them to tell you stories, and don't try to get any information you want by asking questions. Remember, all friendships are based on reciprocity. It starts with your first conversation.
3. To achieve the success you desire, you should proactively share your insights and opinions, allowing other friends to get to know you.
Therefore, my fourth principle of success is: Sincere seeking, sincere interaction, equal treatment, and shared enjoyment.
