When it comes to lust, it seems to have always been a male prerogative. A beautiful woman is a man's desire. The men they are attracted to are those they love emotionally, psychologically, and physically. They will hide them deep in their hearts, keeping it a secret. Even if they have an affair, they will never admit it unless you catch them in the act, because they understand that reputation is more valuable than anything else. If their affair is exposed, they will certainly use the guise of a romantic relationship to cover it up, or claim marital discord, or that they were momentarily confused and seduced by a lecherous man—in short, they will find many objective reasons.
