The "Dihuang Wan" family is vast, and Liuwei Dihuang Wan is just one of its many components. Many tonifying formulas are based on it, with modifications and additions. 1. Liuwei Dihuang Wan consists of Rehmannia glutinosa (processed), Cornus officinalis, Dioscorea opposita, Alisma plantago-aquatica, Paeonia suffruticosa, and Poria cocos. 2. Maiwei Dihuang Wan

Angelica and Peony Root Rehmannia Pill): Adding Angelica sinensis and Paeonia lactiflora to Liu Wei Di Huang Wan (Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill) creates this excellent medicine for gynecological diseases. It nourishes Yin and blood, softens the liver , and tonifies the kidneys. Excessive menstrual blood loss can damage Yin in women. This medicine can specifically treat metrorrhagia, dizziness, fatigue, lower back and leg pain, tinnitus, etc., caused by kidney deficiency in women.
6. Ming Mu Di Huang Wan
(Bright Eyes Rehmannia Pill): Adding Lycium barbarum, Chrysanthemum morifolium, Angelica sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora, Tribulus terrestris, and Abalone shell to Liu Wei Di Huang Wan creates this medicine. It is mainly used to treat eye diseases, especially dry eyes, blurred vision, and tearing in the wind caused by liver and kidney Yin deficiency.
7. Gui Fu Di Huang Wan (
Cinnamon and Aconite Rehmannia Pill): Adding Cinnamomum cassia and Aconitum carmichaelii to Liu Wei Di Huang Wan, this is a warming and tonifying medicine for kidney Yang. It is used for lower back and knee pain, edema of limbs, difficulty urinating, and frequent urination in the elderly caused by insufficient kidney Yang and decline of the fire of the gate of life. The simplest way to judge Yang deficiency is to look at the tongue coating; a pale tongue with a thick coating often indicates Yang deficiency. In addition, those with Yang deficiency are afraid of cold and have cold limbs.
