Simple actions to improve the quality of sex 

Regular exercise not only helps maintain a slim figure but also effectively improves performance in bed. Dr. Janet Raymond, a registered physician and marriage expert in Los Angeles, points out that exercise enhances strength, flexibility, and endurance, impressing your partner and helping you achieve orgasm. Among the various types of exercise, four are particularly effective.

Push-ups. Push-ups work the biceps and triceps, giving your arms a toned physique and providing a good foundation for the missionary position. This exercise also increases testosterone levels, playing a significant role in enhancing libido in both men and women. A Harvard Medical School study found that increased testosterone levels significantly improved satisfaction in both men and women. For women, strengthening arm muscles helps in trying different sexual positions; if push-ups are difficult, dumbbell presses are a good alternative.

Squats. This exercise not only strengthens the leg and gluteal muscles but also improves blood flow to the reproductive organs, thus enhancing male erections and female lubrication. In addition, squats help strengthen the muscles that control orgasm, including the pelvic diaphragm and smooth muscles in the urogenital system. This helps men increase the intensity of their sex life and allows women to experience greater vaginal tightness.

Brisk walking. Simple brisk walking promotes blood circulation and flow. Because aerobic exercise (such as brisk walking and running) can help prevent heart attacks, it can improve the quality of sex life. Nicole Protz, a researcher in the Department of Psychiatry at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA, believes that aerobic exercise has two benefits: in the short term, it increases heart rate and enhances arousal during sex; in the long term, it increases body satisfaction and self-esteem, which are closely related to enhanced sexual function, thus encouraging more active sex lives.

Kegel exercises. This is the simplest and most effective exercise for the pelvic floor muscles. The pelvic floor muscles control the flow of urine and keep the pelvic organs in the correct position. Through this exercise, men's pubococcygeus muscle (also known as the ejaculatory muscle) becomes stronger, resulting in greater endurance and control during sex. A woman's vagina will become tighter, making it easier for her to achieve orgasm.
