Within China's elite class, there exists a group that openly embraces the game of sexual intercourse. Despite traditional condemnation, this group hasn't disappeared; in fact, its acceptance has grown.
From a traditional moral perspective, this is a grave sin of debauchery, an act despised by society. But why are those who enthusiastically engage in this game the highly cultured and philosophically sophisticated elite, while the lower classes vehemently oppose it?
If I told you that sexual intercourse is actually a noble activity, many would likely call me crazy. But it's true; no matter how you argue it, the answer remains the same, even with moral constraints. Sexual intercourse originated in the Western countries with the fastest modernization processes, and in China, it has only recently become popular among the elite after rapid internationalization. A common characteristic of those involved in
this activity is the exceptionally strong emotional bond between the partners. Their professions often include teachers, doctors, consultants, professors, senior managers, civil servants, and other professionals. There are very few businesspeople involved, and most who join end up failing. Vulgar individuals are almost nonexistent, so these clubs conduct thorough background checks on members' professions, education, and expertise. Those who oppose the activity are generally men and women who haven't truly participated; they interpret the exchange with base ideas, much like someone criticizing Einstein without understanding relativity—they have no basis for their opinions. Why is this considered a noble activity? First, it involves sexual pleasure that is mutually agreed upon and enjoyed by both partners (of course, there are exceptions where only one partner is willing, and the other is forced to participate; these are not included in this category because sexual activity not based on gender equality and marital harmony is despised in this circle and will result in permanent expulsion. This is immoral). Second, couples who are enthusiastic about this activity are generally independent with their own careers; their relationship is built on equality, neither is an appendage of the other, and each has their own independent personality and mental space. Third , these couples rarely seek pleasure alone; even occasional threesomes are only undertaken with mutual consent. Fourth, these couples are generally able to distinguish between sex and love, and will not allow physical pleasure to lead to emotional entanglements. If they become entangled with each other because of sexual exchange, it is considered shameful in this circle. Fifth, during sexual intercourse, they will always take adequate safety precautions, as this is a sign of respect and a necessary courtesy for both parties. ******In a sense, this reflects women's liberation and gender equality. In traditional marriages and families, men generally hold a leadership position, and women are merely appendages. Men's promiscuity is often tacitly tolerated, while women who commit adultery are at least verbally and physically abused, and in severe cases, end up in divorce. Don't you see married men getting together and talking about prostitution or infidelity with great enthusiasm, even though it's extramarital sex, they generally don't feel ashamed? But if a man talks about his wife having sex with other men, he will immediately be despised, and his wife will be considered an adulteress. This is the current "normal thinking" of the masses, normal to the point of being abnormal. We are all human, and we are all having sex, so why is there such a big difference? Anyone with a little knowledge and understanding can understand how unequal this is. Finally, some men awakened to the reality of this. While seeking pleasure, they realized the unfairness to their wives and the husbands of the women they were having affairs with, leading them to experiment with swapping partners. During this process, they suddenly understood that appreciating and experiencing the joy of their loved ones was more enjoyable than indulging alone. Men who accept swaps are generally broad-minded, respectful of women, sensible, thoughtful, modern, gentle, elegant, and cultured. Women are mostly independent, successful, individualistic, sexy, emotionally sensitive, and also cultured. I personally approve of this kind of game, but those who play it must meet the above requirements. Everything has two sides; in the hands of a wise person, it is positive; in the hands of a despicable person or a crude country bumpkin, it is negative. As someone deeply influenced by traditional patriarchy, he naturally cannot accept this behavior because it challenges patriarchy and signals the rise of women. If Confucius were still alive, he would surely die of shock. The fear of women's rise stems from our lack of self-confidence as men. Live the life you want, enjoy the happiness you desire, and let the dregs of tradition and the morality and male chauvinism born under its oppressive influence be buried along with Confucius.
