That day happened to be Saturday and Sunday. I stayed in bed for two whole days, barely getting up except to go to the bathroom, which made Li Meini and her sister very worried and tearful. They didn't go anywhere; they just stayed home and watched over me.

Every mealtime, Li Meiting would bring the food her sister had made to my bedside table, and then take it away untouched a while later. I didn't touch a bite.

Once, Li Meini had a fight with Tom Cruise in Fuzhou. She thought he was cheating on her, and when she came back to Xiamen, she cried and begged me for it. I was so angry that I wanted to go to Fuzhou and beat Tom Cruise up. But I'd just be a sitting duck; how could I possibly beat him?

"Shut your dog mouth!" Li Meini pinched my thigh hard when she saw me bringing up her embarrassing story in front of the adults.
