Judging a person's character by their chat history

Just as you can understand a person from their writing, you can also get to know someone through online chat.
Some people bombard you with questions right away—age, job, measurements—like a policeman checking your background, which is incredibly annoying. Others turn on video after only a few words, demanding to see you, which is extremely unreasonable. Still others ask for a video call after chatting for a while, only to find the other person isn't there or the video is blurry—this is incredibly sleazy. These types of people are usually blocked and rejected because they lack respect, confidence, and a positive outlook.
On the other hand, some people are very polite. They first explain why they added the other person, then proactively introduce themselves, uploading a recent photo with the other person's permission without asking. Finally, if they feel good about the other person, they proactively leave their phone number (and it's their frequently used number). Their politeness, restraint, and initiative make the other person feel respected and trusted. Even if such people are average in terms of looks or other qualities, they will become friends online because they are sincere and trustworthy.
