What is making friends?

What is the purpose of making friends? I often ask myself this question: Why am I here to make friends, and what are others' purposes? What is it that often comes to mind? On this platform, many people claim to be sincere in their friendships, talking about how sincere they are and how much they want to make friends. But after interacting with these people, I've found that most of their sincerity is only lip service.

If you are truly sincere, please show sincerity to strangers. Not everyone is obligated to be your friend; adding you as a friend is simply giving both parties a chance to get to know each other. What I see more of here is rudeness and deception. I approach you with sincerity and humility, but these "friends" are rude, demanding, and often just ask for pictures and then nothing happens.

Friends, don't exchange things for the sake of exchange. Understanding the meaning behind it is more important.
True friendship is hard to find.
