Heart and Bed

Some people keep you in their hearts, some people keep you in their beds—this was an unintentional realization I had, stemming from the idea that 'you can be sure you're in someone's arms, but you can't be sure you're in their heart.' This tiny insight made me think I understood all the questions about love. I had doubted that the beauty I possessed would perish in this desolation. Numerous confusions assailed me from different angles, leaving me momentarily at a loss.
If you don't love someone, you'll reject them without hesitation; but if you love someone, you'll still be with them—different forms, same result. Men, the simplest and most direct creatures in the world, even if they love a woman deeply, will still return to their most primal instincts. No one likes a platonic relationship that lasts forever, nor will anyone patiently engage in intellectual exchanges with you forever. They'll start by creating a romantic atmosphere, then use that to set the stage for their later purpose. It's like kissing and saying "I love you" before sex—because without doing these things, it can't proceed; it's just a transition. Love, perhaps ,
is one person lying while the other quietly watches those lies. So, rather than believing promises made in bed, it's better to believe in ghosts. Women often call men wolves, but aren't they foxes themselves? Women also seduce men; some use their bodies, some their souls, some their material possessions—the methods vary. You might say that even if it's seduction, which method lasts is obvious.
But I think they all lead to the same end: everything begins with the spirit and ends with the flesh; love becomes an adult movie. One day, during a casual chat, a friend told me that love can breed hate, so why can't sex also breed love? When confused about the outcome, love offers many answers, while sex raises many questions. A person can enter another's emotional world in various ways; you might fall in love with someone who makes you laugh, or with someone who gives you an orgasm—one categorized as spiritual love, the other as physical love.
I forget where I read it, but "After sleeping together, love cried." Love with sex can sometimes be more intense, sometimes it changes its flavor. Falling in love with a person, a feeling, or a body isn't wrong; what's wrong is not knowing what you want. Actually, making mistakes isn't terrible; the key is to recognize and correct them, right? I hope I belong to the former category—the one you hold dear!
